Fox is a creative woodworker. You name it, he can carve, make or refinish it. The Raging Barons MC took that talent and opened a new business for the club after Fox had more orders than he could cope with. Fox needs additional staff so that he can concentrate on his wood projects and hires Carrie to run the office/showroom. Join Fox as his new business grows, and the Raging Barons MC as they deal with an unknown MC, accidents, new prospects, employee shortages and the high-jinx of the other club members. Fox didn’t know he needed more until Carrie took control of his future.
Carrie Moved to the area, along with her brother Dale, to get away from her old boss. She is well organized and has plans to take the shop to a new level. Carrie is obliviouis to the way of an MC, but learns pretty quickly. Thinking of Fox as only her boss doesn’t last long.
No cliff-hanger, no cheating, HEA. The content is for mature audiences only 18+. Please do not read if sexual situations, violence, and explicit language offend you.
Honestly this series is kinda lame it drags on with useless stuff and the heroine and hero don’t get together til the end of the book there is absolutely no steam! The author should spend less time writing basic information and more of a story. I don’t think I will read anymore of this authors work.
There was a lot going on in this one. Lots of new brothers brought in or moved from prospect to full patched brother, the businesses getting straightened out and thriving and an MC that sees the success and wants it for themselves.
It was fun to see the businesses grow, to thrive, especially the "lady bar" with Mia, Eden and Meat. They sure gave the MC quite the surprise on opening night, but the ladies of the town enjoyed things. You can tell it will be a success. The garage going gangbusters, especially with the help and big plans ahead there. But it was the furniture place that really took center stage. The place wasn't even up and running and Fox is changing things a bit to make it better, more robust and finding the perfect people to help work there. Carrie was great, she took the role she was given and ran with it. You can tell that it will succeed.
The drama with the other MC got old fast. Mostly because they were all threat and not much action, especially face with what our crew did when they confronted them. I'm sure that won't be the last we see of them, but if they do pop back up, they will be taken care of once and for all.
On a side note...I'm really enjoying Heather and Meat's prank war. It seems like everyone else at the club house does too.
I received Fox as an ARC to review. Over the moon thrilled since I have & love every book this Lady has written for us. I do intent to purchase my own copy since author support is critical since I need great books to add to my book hoard. That said I really enjoyed this story. In a bit of a change, this book features more action and viewing it from many points of view. We get much more involved and see how all the brothers & the old ladies form a family we all wish we were part of. The series has always seemed to me to be so real life. As the title character Fox is the focus as he struggles to get his dream of an exclusive handmade furniture shop up and running smoothly. He needs staff and gets much more than he dreamed. We also see how Meat settles in and keeps poor Axel on his toes, Mia & Eden forming a strong protective bond with him. As a challenge from the past helps a new possible threat to the welfare of the club, we meet new & exciting characters. I hate giving spoilers so I will just say the writing creates a story that is so easy to get lost in, I literally had a shock when I reached the end. I read books like I breathe air, and this one was so satisfying. I find I can read this series whenever I need to get out of reality. Thank you
I am enjoying this MC so much! The fun they have! The craziness that ensues! The practical jokes that are played! I find myself giggling out loud so often. Fox and Carrie had such a natural progression to their relationship. So good!
Recommended and rated this book 1 star2 stars3 stars4 stars5 stars Fox was supposed to help co-manage Club Whiskey with Silver, but his sister asked him to build a piece of furniture for her, then her friends started asking as well. It lead our Mia, the savvy business woman to introduce another money making business for the club and finding the perfect building for Fox and his team. The new RBMC Bespoke Furnishings was created and that brings Carrie. Carrie left her job several towns over where she practically ran the furniture store, but the owner couldn't keep his hands to himself. Carrie brought her own ideas and she was very meticulous in her research for the right prices for these beautiful pieces that were built or refurbished. Her brother Dale/Fist also lost his job as a mechanic, and as luck would have it, the garage that the club owns needs more mechanics. He's also dating a past club whore Brandy that was kicked out of the club a while back. Mia,Eden and Meat also buy another bar and are in the process of having it renovated as a "ladies bar". The name they chose will have you smiling. Meat is also semi flirting back and forth with the club's new cleaning lady, Heather. Happy reading.
Fox is busy running RBMC Bespoke Furnishings, he never thought his woodworking talent would take off, but he has had so many orders the MC started the furniture store. He is missing riding and being with his MC family. He has been interviewing and looking for new staff to help build the furniture and run the show room. He takes the prospect, Brad under his wing to learn woodworking and Mia finds the perfect person to run the showroom and office. Carrie works at a furniture shop, but her boss is a jerk, and she needs to get away from him. She decides to move away and start over. She runs into Mia and finds out about the job at RBMC Bespoke furnishings. Carrie takes the job and becomes irreplaceable to Fox in more then one way. She has no knowledge of MC’s but learns quickly as her friendship with Fox burns into so much more. Carrie’s brother Dale finds himself without a job and joins Carrie in her new town, he goes to work for the RBMC and finds himself pulled into their family. The RBMC family is growing, and the shenanigans are going to make you laugh until you cry. Another MC and some old betrayals will cause trouble for RBMC, will Fox and Carrie’s new relationship survive, can Carrie handle the way of the MC come along for the ride and find out.
Ok, i’m going to preface this by saying I really like this series, and I have read all four books that have been published so far. However, the one thing I noticed in all the books, and in this one as well, is that it’s more of a story about the MC than it really is a story about the couple. So even though this is Fox’s book, and it’s supposed to be about Fox and Carrie, there’s really no relationship between the couple until 65% to 70% of the book is completed.
I love the characters in this series. I think Meat is the best character ever! I cannot wait and hope that he gets his own book. I just really wish that there was more focus on developing the relationship between the couple. It seems that the relationship just pops at the end as an afterthought.
I am looking forward to Grease’s story, and I still give it five stars because I did enjoy it and the MC storyline is really good.
Fox is settling in with his new wood furnishing buisness. Carrie was fed up with her old handsy boss and found a new job as Fox's receptionist. When a new club emerges bringing trouble to the Raging Barons, its not just the club caught in the cross fire but Carrie too. As Fox decides he wants to settle down and have a future with Carrie he and the club will do there all to keep everyone safe, no matter the cost. Another great addition to the series, I love getting not only the main couples story but also hearing about the other members of the club and what they are getting up to! With well detailed scenes, a slow burn romance, many laugh out loud moments, action, suspense, teasing steamy scenes and more!
Fox finally gets to open his furniture store but he needs an office manager. Carrie leaves her job at a furniture store to get away from a boss who sexually harasses her. Mia hires Carrie to work at Fox’s shop where she flourishes and also catches Fox’s eye. But of course, nothing is easy. A rouge MC shows up in town trying to overtake the RBMC. In the end, the good guys prevail while along the way Fox and Carrie fall in love. While all of this is happening, Mia, Eden and Meat are opening their bar and the antics that ensue are hilarious. I love that so many characters develop in this story, not just the two main characters. Meat is such a goofball and the friendships that develop are priceless! Looking forward to his book as well as all the other characters in the future.
I absolute loves this book. Fox was never expecting for the work he did with wood to go as far as it has. Fox is a simple man who misses spending time with the brother’s and their families and riding his bike. He decides to add more staff and finds Carrie. Carrie had left her old job because she didn’t feel comfortable but with Fox she feels comfortable and safe. I loved getting to see their friendship blossom into beautiful relationship. J.E. Daelman has once again written an amazing book that you get hooked into right from the start. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I highly recommend this book
Where to start? I loved Carrie and Fox. Absolutely loved everyone coming together and actually becoming friends and family. All of J.E Daelman's books are from a world we all wish we saw more of. Strangers helping strangers, only to become friends and family. Still love the sign. Tarzan and Janes, really perfect. I could actually picture the sign in my head. Impatient for Meat's story, though. Have an apology to make, before leaving. Got carried away with the story and forgot to edit. Thank you everyone for having Jan Daelman's covered.
I love Fox and Carrie, but Meat still owns my heart. This is another great addition to the Raging Barons, that allows us to see not only the story of Fox and Carrie but to catch up with our other favorites as well. I wasn't sure what I was going to think about Fox, but the story of how he and Carrie come together is perfect for him. What I really love about this series, though, is that the others don't fade into the background. We still get to see what is going with our other favorites. That means Meat. I love Meat, and any book that he is in worth reading!
I am loving this MC more and more. Fox is the continuing story of the Raging Barons MC and specifically Fox and Carrie. The book has multiple POVs and lets you continue to get to know other characters so you get to know more than just the title characters. To me, the allows you to get to delve into the other characters is the series who can be really funny! Prank wars! Maybe they will get their own books in the future!
For those of you who like a lighter MC romance, this series is a good one. No cheating or cliffhangers involved!
I live all the different characters and their quirky personalities. The first book in the series barely held my interest but I wanted to see what happened to the people. Each story finds me wanting to know more. The author definitely has a strong understanding of different personalities and their individual perception. Glad I stuck with the series. Can't wait to meet the new women that were introduced at the end of the story and what happens next with Meat, Heather and BS.
So this has turned into a comedy show. Which in itself is fine. But its suppised to be an MC romance. First the romance was missing. The couple barely got to be a couple. And the MC stuff kinda disappeared. First, BS became a full member and SAA within a couple of days. Never in a milluon years. Second, the worn out trope of the jilted club girls was revised, but they wetnt even nasty beotches. Let down for sure. And finally, they dumped a body of a women in broad dsylight in front of cops. Nope.
The titles of this series are quite deceiving. They refer to the MC Club member who finds his old lady, but there is so much more in each book. Several members are threaded continuously throughout the stories keeping the reader up to date with their backgrounds and actions. This enhances the enjoyment in reading in my opinion.
The books are fairly light compared to some other MC romance books. The sexual content is way down low, leaving a better storyline. The characters are well rounded and the women are feisty.
Carrie and Fox's story was like a slow burn , turning each page to find out more. Fox's business is taking off and he hires Cassie who manages his business. Their attraction is slow but you can see it. Of course some other MC comes in to try and ruin the MC. Cassie decides it's time to catch a fox and admit their feeling. We learn more about the MC members and I adore Meat. Bring on the next one
Book three still holds my attention to the MC group. I love these men and women with their work effort and attitudes. I enjoy the practical jokes between Meat and Heather. I love the way Axel cares about the men in the club and takes a strong leadership to protect the women they all love. It is nice to read about a club that takes care of each other. try to avoid the 1% as much as possible and the growing number of members.
Fox wood furnishing business is busier than he thought it would be and is almost overwhelmed. Carrie is fed up with her hands boss and quits. She gets a job at Fox business as the manager. When a new clubs shows up starting trouble Carrie’s gets caught in the cross fire. Fox and the club will do anything to keep her safe
So Fox and Carrie start out working together. He is learning how to grow a business even tho he really messed up with the bar. Carrie finds a job that she adores and doesn't have to deal with sleazy people anymore. For Fox and Carrie it's an instant attraction to each other. I loved this new book of the new MC in Ms. Daelman's world. can't wait for more!!!
Daelman continues to deliver inviting stories and making them better with each book she puts out! With each new character she introduces it feels like welcoming a new family member. The antics of this MC keep me laughing, the story line keeps me drawn in and the love created is one we all dream to have. I only ask one question, where can i get a Fox?
I just have to say that Mia continues to provide a lot of meaning to the storyline even in book four. She's a loving and feisty President's old lady. Meat is a freaking funny guy...kind of sad for him too. Carrie and Fox are cute together. They have a lot in common. There's drama and danger again too. I can't wait for the rest of the series to be written.
Fox and Carrie are a great couple. Carrie was hired by Fox to take care of his furniture website. I enjoyed reading about the other MC members and their old ladies. The storyline was interesting and informative considering the functions of the MC club and prospects.
Well she caught herself a Fox alright and a beautiful older one at that. Carrie fits in so well with the rest of the ladies as does her brother Fist. Lots of club drama with an MC looking to takeover their territory and plenty of lol moments and steamy scenes. 5 stars
This book was good. The brotherhood and sisterhood that is blooming is touching. There is a lot of laughter with the antics that goes on at the compound. There is tension with a rival MC and Brandy as the DBMC's president's old lady how it all plays out.
Another great book and it's great how J e dealem does muti points of view as it helps meet different members their roles and most importantly their antics especially meat with the old ladies fox and carrie are a good match and their relationship is an easy one but that doesn't mean it all runs smoothly
This was another book that I really enjoyed reading in this series. I love how the book covers a wider story rather than just focusing solely on the couple. I also love the antics of Meat and the girls, it really makes me chuckle. I’m looking forward to continuing reading this series and would recommend it.
These books keep getting better and better. The more you get to know each character in each book, makes their story even better to look forward to.Loved reading about Fox & Carrie trying to figure out how to get their HEA well also dealing with all the drama and danger from new and past enemies. I loved how she finally caught herself a Fox. 🧡
