Wow, just wow. I just finished the book within the hour and my mind is just buzzing with everything that happened. This has to be one of the best written books i’ve ever read? The details, the aesthetic, the betrayal, the deaths, the development, ALL OF IT!
My god, do you ever have that feeling when you start listening to a new song and you just KNOW it’s going to be your new favorite? That is exactly how I felt seeing you on my fyp talk about your book. I just knew I was going to love everything about it and I did!
This book is so well written,and I don’t think I could have ever been prepared for that ending. I can’t believe she’s a vampire now? I cannot wait for the second book to see how her new experiences/power play out for her and I just know you’re going to write it so magnificently.
Eris has to be one of my favorite mc’s ever. I love how over the book she just slowly turns further down the path of being an unforgivable and unforgettable villain. How she finally breaks at the end... I feel so bad for her, having quite literally everything taken away from her. Now that she has a vampire’s power and immortality, im so excited to see how she uses all that pent up emotion in battle and schemes.
Kalon, my god I loved him. At first I was 100% cheering for Arcane because im a huge sucker for enemies to lovers but the more we got to know the Dux Belli’s character the more I fell for him. His betrayal was absolutely heartbreaking to read and I was so close to crying. I can’t help but wonder how long he’s been involved with the rebellium and if he helped with her father’s murder.
Arcane, well he’s a very well written asshole. He’s quite charming but everytime I think we can trust him, he goes and pulls another card. The ending though? 🤨
I absolutely hate how undeservingly underrated this book is. I’ve told my friend who enjoys similar books as I to get this as soon as possible. How is this not all over booktok?!
