I'm overjoyed to have borrowed a book of witchcraft that contains spells to remodel my enormous Elf ears into something less... attention-seeking. But instead of shrinking you-know-what, I develop a serious hearing problem. My new (and still oversized) ears are tuned into the conversations of people who have long since passed.
On the streets, in the bus, filling my grocery cart—nowhere is safe. The dead leave their aural imprints everywhere and boy, do they love to babble.
I would give my left kidney to rid myself of these echoes. Even the ones from my nearest and dearest have worn thin. But when an old conversation turns out to be about a present day murder, getting rid of my newfound ability might prove to be the biggest mistake of my life.

Results are mixed. She does indeed get her wish, but now she starts hearing the dead. Along with help from her friends, it does help her solve the murders. Fun read.

All Ears ( A Dewsbury Down Paranormal Cozy Book 2) by Willow Mason
Truly entertaining! Wonderful characters and world building. I have thoroughly enjoyed these stories. I would recommend these for anyone 14 years or older.
While I really enjoyed the first book of the series I can't say the same for this one. Snarky plants and an elf who hates her ears just didn't do it for me. I made it to four chapters and called it quits
