When bodies turn up, the work of a new serial killer, the case seems too easily solved.

A May Moore Mystery #5, by the multi-talented author of a thousand and one masterful plots with feisty female lead characters, Blake Pierce, is Never Forgive - a fantastically engaging action-driven police procedural with a twist.
Despite being Deputy Chief of the district, May feels constantly overshadowed in their parents' eyes, by her FBI Special Agent sister Kerry.
This time May and partner Owen are hot on the trail of a serial-killer, who's always one deadly step ahead, when Kerry, her partner and Team, are called in to take charge of the investigation. What links the victims - mostly middle-aged or retired, professional women - and one or more of their family members?
A cat-and-mouse hunt for a sociopath, with a grudge against authority and a blatant disregard for the sanctity of human life, puts May's courage and integrity to the ultimate test. Will she risk everything to save the man who loves her, and even strangers, to uphold the law and to protect and serve the innocent?

Another step closer to her sister’s murderer! I really need Blake to give us a book focused 100% on May working on solving her sister’s murder, because while I enjoy these books, I’m fully invested in the little endings we get that give us another piece of her working on it and I’m hooked! In this installment, we see May work hard to find the killer who is targeting a random group of people, and when May’s sister is called in, she works hard to set herself apart and solve things when her sister yet again doesn’t listen to her. The dynamic between May and her older sister is interesting – it seems like she wants to and does help her but also puts her in situations where she is the superior one between them. Thankfully, May goes with her gut and ends up solving things and gaining praise from everyone, including her parents. I need more of Lauren’s case though! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
May still has her self-esteem difficulties but through her hard work and support from her partner, she is able to discover who is the 'bomb killer' and to place a plan in order to find him even when it can be against her own life safety. She gets praised by everyone and in this story, she also finds more clues regarding the disappearance of her sister. Never Forget has a great plot, is full of action, and brings a lot of familial emotions and a dash of romance. I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.
This was a good book in this series. There is competition between two sisters (mainly in their personal lives) who are in different areas of law enforcement. This series constantly focuses on the parent's favoritism of the older sister, and the affect it has on the younger sister - making the younger sister feel inferior and lacking in confidence even though she is highly qualified. Even though the older sister is called in for assistance on every case, the younger sister usually uncovers the most important key to solving the case. The series is repetitive in this way.
The Bomber is the new serial killer. Kerry, & some FBI agents come to investigate. May & Owen start to profile the killer. This book was great! May finally gets recognized by her family and the FBI for her part in bringing this case to a close! Also, May is still working on the cold case of her sister who disappeared several years ago. More clues are turning up. Hopefully the next couple of books will help bring closure to this case. Thank you, Blake Pierce, for the book!
The ongoing mystery of what happened to the main character's sister is enough to keep me coming back to the series. However I'm getting tired of the main character continually dealing with the same sibling rivalry issues in every single book. She seems to make progress in each one and then starts over at the beginning of each new book. I just wish she would mature throughout the series.
I love the concept of these books and characters. Although, if May doesn't get a backbone soon, I will have to move on. I get too frustrated with her to stay with the story line.
