Very cute, relaxing. This is more like we watching someone's daily life which nothing much happening. There's not much of drama, angst, toxic character. It full of sweet, stupid, adorable and heartwarming story. Reading this just cheer me up after those heavy book.
A perfect manga to escape for your heavy thoughts. Would love to have physical manga 💜
Heisuke has somewhat called irresponsible attitude.. but then come Akki, the son of his aunt, that his mother and him had to look after during the day.. So there, coloured pencils and baking is the beginning of their sweet relationship..
ooow, i love the sweets and pancakes.. *yummy* Love how the relationship between Akki and Heisuke makes them learn and improves their expression and attitudes.
end up reading it early in the morning, forgetting my deadline for a while. and hereby i declare that I've fallen for heisuke too... hahaha... his attitude wasn't that good, but not that bad either. he's just carefree person with a bunch of good friends. what make me fallen for him coz he can making sweet. and akkun was a cute child too, specially when they play hide and seek with everybody. nice and simple drawing too.
The story was not bad but overall the volume felt a little shallow. It was nice to see the little guy taking more confidence, but I'm accustomed to spontaneous children (even if they are shy), so his character didn't really feel natural. In my opinion, the interactions between the teenagers weren't interesting and the art didn't work with me, so I probably won't continue the series.
This is a very cute story. The main character Heisuke has been put in charge of babysiting his little cousin who's a very quiet boy named Aki! Aki tends to not talk much and get shy easily. He becomes very attached to Heisuke. Heisuke is a easy character to like and dislike at the same time. He's annoying at times and tends to hurt other peoples feelings. He's very carefree also. His friends always have to help Heisuke despite him not acting as if he appreciates there help. Aki somehow really likes Heisuke despite Heisuke thinking its troublesome to deal with him. Heisuke really doesn't like dealing with Aki and his emotions. I read vol 1-3 and Heisuke seems to be changing but very little. It was a good read though.

Goodness but this was the perfect pick after so much angst and drama reading! Aki is extremely adorable, makes me want to hug him tight. It's heartwarming to see how the relationship between him and Heisuke develops. Side characters like Heisuke's friends, add a lot of humor to the story, along with Aki's parents. ^.^
The series reminds me of Usagi Drop, although very different plot.
