Long winding repeating scenes

How many times the lead lady will be fooled, she is a spineless educated working selfmade woman, she acts as a slave to her miser father and a loafer first husband and her younger sister..For the entirety of this novel this 3 characters take turns in hurting her n+1 times
Atleast leads second husband her mother, brother , aunt are human
Hope you get a drift
Till the end she doesn't defend herself or her rights
Woman are lot stronger than this
