He’s a lone wolf who doesn’t want to get tied down—by a mate or by a pack bond.
She’s an aspiring model who got in too deep with the wrong people—and now they want her dead.

But when these two opposites meet, it’s explosive…

Switch, a helicopter pilot, does pro-bono jobs helping innocent people go underground to avoid psycho exes and crime bosses. But when he picks up Breanna to take her to a safe house, everything goes to hell.

The rendezvous turns into an ambush, and they barely get away. His only option is to take her to his friends at Outlaw Ridge, until they can find somewhere for her to go. Because Switch in no way wants a helpless, lifestyles-of-the-rich-and-famous human cream puff on his hands any longer than necessary.

But Breanna has more to her than he thought—and he can’t help being more and more drawn to her. Only thing is, she also has deadly secrets—and she may not share them until it’s too late…

3.5 stars. Not a fan of Breanna's dishonesty and her indefensible past behaviour.
It is hard to continue reading a book when you have no respect for the heroine and her thinking or behaviour. Luckily, I was invested in reading about these misfit shifter outlaws and what they would get up to next.
The heroine was not a likeable personality, too self-centred for most of the story.
Unfortunately, I have to call a spade a spade. Breanna was nothing more than a glorified high priced call girl. That is her life choice and if that is how she wants to roll, no worries. But her attitude of Walmart, and the like, not being good enough to work in, was demeaning to all those hard workers who serve us when we shop.
I was annoyed that the only one to call her out for her past behaviour was Thanatos.
I understand the outlaw wolves not caring, as they all have pasts but she never seemed to accept or acknowledge what she was.
I softened towards disliking Breanna at one point but then she went back to being annoyingly selfish.
Not the brightest person is Breanna, even though we are led to believe she has smarts, maybe that’s why she lived on her looks. TSTL and dishonest about not only the bonds but about using a phone. She put everyone’s life at Outlaw Ridge at risk for her selfish reasons. Kimberley and the sharing the bonds money, was not a good enough excuse to risk everyone else’s lives.
Even though I adored how she befriended these crazy shifters with TV and cookies and had them all working towards a community feeling, I just couldn’t accept her selfish thinking and putting others at risk.
Loved Switch, he was such a kind hearted person even with his problems. Glad he will be staying at the ridge as part of the pack.
Thought the ending was great but I wanted to know if Kimberley had been bad from the beginning and had given up the railroad people?
This is my honest opinion of this book.

Rescued is the second story in the Outlaw Wolves series, and this one is filled to overflowing with danger and laughter. I loved every moment back in this world once again. Yet, I also have to admit to being a bit torn about Breanna. There were moments when she was annoying beyond belief, selfish, and a bit snobbish, no, make that very snobbish. Add to those impressions the fact that she placed this entire compound full of misfit shifters (and her mate) in danger by keeping vital secrets from them… and those two secrets came back to bite extremely hard. On the other hand, I adored her TV-watching with some of the guys and her belief that chocolate chip cookies can cure anything or any mistakes she’s made with this crew. Then there’s the obvious connection with Switch that both are having a hard time defining exactly what they are to each other. To say that Breanna is a complicated woman is an understatement. And some of those first impressions are explained further in the story, others are not. I liked her but didn’t always respect or understand her reasoning for her actions. Her secret almost got people killed, that’s a pretty big deal, ya know?

I absolutely adored Switch. Yes, he is one dangerous man in his own right. But he’s also a compassionate man who will do pro bono rescues in the middle of the night with little thought to his own safety. He’s a lone wolf, yet he hangs out with a whole bunch of PTSD wolves who make up this misfit pack to the point of taking over a guest cabin as his own. He’s stubborn, a bit dangerous, sexy as sin, and finds himself in the odd position of knowing Breanna is his mate but not wanting it to be true. So, he protects her and tries to help her get back to the life she wants, all the while knowing that he’s sending his other half, his mate, away. The secrets she kept from him are deadly, and there is only one way to freedom now… face down the villain, and hope to survive that encounter.

I loved the secondary characters we met from this pack, laughed out loud so many times at their antics, and I can’t wait to read their stories. In spite of not really liking Breanna that much, I did enjoy this story very much. It’s well-written, fast-paced, and definitely action-filled with believable characters and a love that, should two stubborn people get out of their own way, last a lifetime. I don’t have to love every character in a book to consider it an excellent overall story.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

RESCUED is the second installment in  Anastasia Wilde's series The Outlaw Wolves. This series has proved to be as well written as her other books with never a boring moment. There is lots of interesting characters, twists and turns, steamy romance that will keep the pages flying.

Breanna and her friend are fleeing from a corrupt business man, but their escape goes awry. Kimberly doesn't make the departure point and Breanna is forced to leave without her friend.

Switch is on another pro-bono rescue mission, but as he attempts to drop off his passenger he realizes the site has been compromised. With no other options, Switch takes Breanna to his friends at Outlaw Ridge, while he finds out where she should go. This is when all the fun starts. One unknowing human in the middle of a bunch of unstable shifter wolves.

The storyline is filled with humor and the very real issue of dealing with PTSD. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but it is even more entertaining when the series is read in order.

This is another five star story and a must read for anyone who loves paranormal romance. I received a free review copy of this book from the author via Bookfunnel and am happily leaving my voluntary and honest review.

While this is listed as the second book in the series it is actually the third as there is a prequel to the series and what a series it is A group of damaged wolf shifters who live on a mountain held together by an alpha that didn't really want the job but is actually proving quite adept at it.

Switch is a lone wolf friend of Gunn the new alpha of the Outlaw Ridge pack he would be welcome as a member of the pack but this lone wolf doesn't want to be a member of any pack or in any relationship even if he does hang out there all the time What he also does is help people escape from situation they have got themselves into and he is their last resort and his latest job is Breanna a model who has got on the wrong side of her bosses an they want her dead. When the easy move goes to hell his only choice is to bring her to Outlaw Ridge where she has to deal with the knowledge that shifters exist and he has to deal with the fact that she is his mate and his free wheeling days may be over. With danger getting closer and her keeping secrets they may not have a future at all.

Helicopter pilot, wolf shifter Switch is a loner and keeps saying he’s not staying at Outlaw Ridge. Switch does pro bono work helping get innocent people get away from exs or crime bosses. He gets a call to pick up two “ducklings “. He steals one of the pack’s helicopters and flies off. Breanna is trying to be a model but got in with the wrong people and they are after her now. Switch goes to drop her off at the next stop but it’s been compromised so he takes her back to the compound. Breanna feels safe with Switch and it takes her making the others cookies to get them to warm up to her. But once they do, the whole pack will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. The more time Switch is with her, the more he realizes she’s what him and his wolf wants.
I think this is my favorite. I absolutely cracked up when the guys pranked Breanna. Action. Secrets. Forced proximity. Steamy. I haven’t read any of these in order but I have almost read them all.

This series just keeps getting better and better. There was action, chemistry and lots of laughs. I feel like I know the characters, and really just want to hang out and have fun with them... although that could be dangerous.

This story focuses on Lone Wolf - Switch (who is still based with the Outlaw Wolves, but can't quite find his place as he isn't a member of the pack) and Bree, a human whose rescue goes wrong and leaves her hiding out with the Outlaw Wolves.

She acclimatises really well to the knowledge of shifters, especially a bunch of damaged and emotionally volatile shifter wolves. Her interactions with the pack, whilst they try to remedy her rescue gone wrong, are fabulous and I can't wait for more from this series.

A great series, which is exciting and fun. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

A-Maz-Balls

Just like always you knocked it out of the park. There were so many laughs and I love how Breanna started out like this timid little mouse and was scared of everything but little by little she got bolder and bolder when it came to Switch and the others.
Oh my God, I’ve never laughed so hard since Penile Kentucky when the fake death by chocolate with Cisco scene happened.
Each time you manage to bring me into a new love and it’s so great watching how each couple is different but the same and how they come to realize they’re meant to be.
I can’t wait for the next book. Sanchez ain’t as big as bad as he seems either. Breanna proved they’re all just big fluffy puppy dogs who need the right person the scratch them behind the ear and tell them what good boys they are.

Excellent

This is a awesome series! There is parts that will bring smile to your face with lots of emotions in your heart. The characters are great and their passion burns up the pages with their chemistry. There are feisty heroines who are so independent that it gives you a delightful smile. This story is full of humor and emotional drama. This is only the second book in the series which is such a pleasurable experience that you will certainly enjoy it. All the stories are so believable. What happens when a couple enjoys the fight and their make up activities is awesome along with their chemistry its call forever and it turns into a love for life. I really enjoyed this series of books. Again the characters are such a extraordinary pleasure that written with such imagination that it makes this series full of beautiful stories. I so excited to read the next book!

Pilot Switch Correra expected to pick up two on his side run but there was only aspiring model Breanna Carter. At the drop-off things seemed wrong, Switch told himself he couldn’t let her be killed in front of him. In an Outlaw helo there was no choice but to take the very human Breanna to base and get an audience with Thantos and have him take it from here.

Breanna said she and her friend burgled a prominent gangster who wanted to make them an example but she didn’t say she had the money and info. Switch won’t agree to Thantos bargain but agrees Breanna will stay with him. Guarded by the wolves, Breanna surprises everyone by befriending even the sadistic Sanchez’, irritating lone wolf Switch.

This series is somewhat darker than Ms. Wilde’s previous series but as the relationships between the crazy wolves build and trust is developed, the reader get glimpses of the bonds that will come. There is humour - code name Cookie Monster for one - but also some very real issues that the wolves are coping with come to light, namely PTSD. I LOVE that Sanchez is getting his story next and I am sure it will be quite the ride. Bree’s character arc is amazing as she finds her strength and her place in Switch’s world and Switch is just wonderful despite all his “broken glass” edges. I highly recommend this series and happily and voluntarily reviewed this book.

I didn’t expect to love Switch this much and here I am. Hank and the rest of the tiny dancing robots are the cutest things ever, and that ring he made asdfghjkl I love him so much; he says he’s not good at people but he’s precious. Breanna made some questionable decisions, which I understood her wanting to have her fallback plan, but I got frustrated at how she was putting the whole pack in potential danger. I warmed up to her overall, though, since she made friends with some of the craziest wolves, and it was super cute. Love that we got to see a little bit of Gunn and Mikey, too, because I love Gunn and Mikey.

Ooh Switch doesn't knows what hit him.
This is one of his rescues that has not gone the way that it should of.
Forced to take her back to the outlaws now he has to keep her safe and the whole time he is fighting his wolfs feelings for her.
The way she wraps the rest of the outlaws around her finger is cute.
Not even Mikey was able to do that.
This is the second in this series so far (after the Prequel Novella) and I am enjoying it.

My Favorite

I just loved Switch and Breanna. The characters were developed well and their chemistry was awesome.

There was a lot of snarky humor in this story as Switch’s character evolved. I enjoyed how his and Breanna’s relationship grew as they became comfortable with each other. The other characters played great supporting roles, with Boomer and Sanchez standing out.

The plot was engaging and I liked the Breanna became stronger. Overall, a great afternoon of reading.

What a story! Not as action packed as the first book but so very well written! I love Anastasia's books and switch did not let us down. Switch and bree were made for each other and the way breanna connects with the other wolves in the Ridge is just heart warming. All they need is a little understanding and cookies 😁 I can not wait for sanchezs book next!

This can be read as a stand-alone, but it is even more entertaining when the series is read in order. There is so much to love about this story; humor, action, fully developed hero and heroine, interesting secondary characters, suspense, twists, wolf shifters, and romance. Breanna might be human, but she soon figures out how to deal with those crazy wolves! Switch is just full of awesomeness! I can't wait for the next story in the series!

Switch is the lone wolf. He doesn't want to stay, but he finds himself still on the Ridge. A call to rescue has him "borrowing" a military helo and flying off for the pick up.

Breanna finds herself on the roof, waiting for her friend so they can flee. They've stolen something Moreno wants ... and her friend found their way out, only her friend doesn't make it. When Switch tries to drop her off, the location is compromised. He takes her back to the Ridge.

Switch protects her, and struggles with his feelings for her. Breanna finds her footing, and makes friends with some of the scariest wolves in the pack.

When a drop goes sideways, Switch & the pack ride to her rescue.

I had the e-book and didn’t realize that I hadn’t read it until I bought Book 4 in this series. I fixed that very quickly and had it read in 4 hours. A great story of one of the wolves from Outlaw Ridge finding his true mate. Breanna is the perfect mate for Switch and joining Gunn’s pack just added a nice touch to the story. I have read all of Anastasia Wilde’s less the final 2 in this series and I’m almost halfway through book 3 of Outlaw Wolves . I love all the stories.

I wonder who is next, because I know all these wolves have a mate out there somewhere. There will be more wolfie adventures and more bad guys to fight. I knew Breanna's friend was up to no good. She is the reason why they almost killed her. Its a lucky thing Switch got that second sense down pat.

Ok I loved book one and now book 2.

In 2 I had to giggle in spots, cheer in others, and smile.

There is good guys and of course bad ones. But there was a story not Sam Bam and ends with a happy ending. No, there was a happy ending but the story kept me reading.

I'll be adding Anastasia Wilde to my authors that I follow.
