Reckless Hate (Simha University Series Book 3) by M V Kasi
Enemies to lovers - this kind of romance is always special but if the romance is friends to enemies to lovers then it becomes great. Because you know in and out of each other with both positive and negative aspects.
M V Kasi has always written the best stories and this one also has a great plot. I loved the background story from which the current plot generated. The story of the elders which has so much to appreciate and experience. Nilima Raj, a great character in the whole series has played an important role.
The series revolves around Simha University with Simha brothers and their enemies from older generations.
Ved and Samantha are childhood best friends, and always there for each other. They were in love from their early age but due to some uneventful circumstances they became greatest enemies and Samantha left for France with her mother and step dad. She got selected for an exchange program at Simha University and she is back in India to pursue her degree. But their first encounter after the uneventful moment is more of anger, hate and revenge. Ved is known for his playboy image and Samantha wants to keep him too far to avoid the burn. Loved the plot, the bonding between brothers, the love relation, the chemistry, the spark, the kiss, the hate, the anger everything is perfect. The older generation's story also plays an interesting role in the series. Overall worth the wait and read.
What an exciting end to a lovely series.... This book is explosive right from the word go
Ved and Samantha are at loggerheads as soon as they spot each other ... and try as much as they can to stay away, they happen to share space for events and programs together. The charged atmosphere, the intensity with which they want each other and the way they throw themselves at each other is so exciting, you just don't want to put the book down
The Simha Brothers are cute, each one different in their own way, but the kinds you wanna fall in love with, and Ved is no different
With everything that she's gone thru, Samantha is someone my heart goes out to and I want her to be happy, not the cold hearted - feeling less girl she's become .... but I love that she's so bold and can hold her own
Rishi is an endearing character, and so is Anita
And the best is for the last. While I read in another review of this book that the one who got these couples together is not Neelima Raj but someone else, I made a wild guess and it was bang on...u need to read the book to figure this out 😉 ... and I so wanted Ms Raj to find someone for herself. I kept guessing through the book.... and m glad that turned out to be true too
This series is different and nice and the book ends with you smiling and happy
Samantha gets accepted for a exchange student program to Simha University, the catch she didn't apply. This university was her dream , a dream that now brings only sadness. Ved is a true playboy, who makes Samantha's life difficult when she joins.

📈My Rating : 5/5
P.s : @mvkasi as usual you hit the spot with this book. I was extremely sad reading THE END, but your note brightened up my day. Can't wait to see what you cook up next.
The story is about Samantha Roy and Ved Simha, samatha stays with her mom , stepfather and stepbrother Sohan in Paris . She has been selected to be a transfer student at the Simha University to complete her education.
Ved Simha is the popular student of the Simha University along with his other 2 cousins.
Ved and Samantha meet on the 1st day of their classes and hate each other because of their past. Ved warns Samantha to leave the university but she is a strong woman n gives ved a tough time. Though they hate each other they cannot deny their attraction for each other.
What happened in the past that ved and Samantha hate each other? Will they be able to overcome what happened and give in to their attraction? Read on to find out.
This is the third book in the Simha series and i completely enjoyed reading it. I like Samantha's character as she has a strong will power. Ved has a bad-boy image which is shown well. The story unfolds nicely to keep you engaged. Looking forward to read more on the Simha's.
This book reminded me Dev and Sabitha. The mmc and fmc have the same dynamics.
Ved and Samantha were best friends. Due to certain reasons they split their ways and Ved seems to hold a grudge on Sam. But when Sam returns to Simha University fulfill her dreams, they had to face each other again. They were basically each others throat. I enjoyed reading them outsmarting each other. Finally they give in to their desires. The spice level is mild. When Sam got to know about the truth, the way Ved supported her, I was just swooning. A enjoyable read.
MV Kasi is one of my favourite Indian author.

M.V. Kasi is back!!! I seriously feel she took a great decision to not pair with someone and rather write on her own. The book has everything you can dream of and a little more too... I think Samatha was too rude, which was not required at times, but I can understand the requirement as per the spin off. Ved is one of the nicest characters I have read and is far more genuine and understanding as compared to Abhi or Rana. Overall, the book is worth the shot. ~3.5 rounding to 4 because I LOVE Kasi waay too much!❤️
This was a lovely story of best friends turned enemies turned lovers. I absolutely loved Sam's character, with his driven and strong personality. The rest of the books in the series were emotional, but this book made me shed a few tears, which is always a plus in my books. I absolutely loved the tactics Ved and Sam used on each other. It's a dramatic and emotional ride with lots of slow burning spice that had me yelling "I knew it!" on the last page. It was a great ride and a very enjoyable read.
@mvkasi and @authorpgvan a nice read. I loved all the books so far and this series add to the list. Reckless hate is an Enemies to lovers series, ved and sam childhood sweethearts who turn into enemies because of one wrong accusation a decade ago.
Ved is one of the reckless cousins at simha university, handsome ,a tech geek, rugby player and sam is yet another transfer student who doesn't believe in making friends and getting attached to someone only to be left alone.
They may seem different but do share two things with each other. 1. Hatered towards the other and 2.the spark that is pulling them togather. This Journey of love and hatered is some thing we need to read. Simha university is a dream university...
The book was intense and interesting. Could be read in a single go. Samantha and Ved's Best Friends turned Enemies turned Lovers relationship with a lot of misunderstandings and hate and finally getting to know the truth was quite interesting to read. I liked Rishi the most he was a darling. Waiting for the next one for the author.
I have read authors previous work and always appreciated the Indian touch to her stories.. but this series has turned out to be some what disappointing and not relatable. This is totally Western culture molded to try and fit in the "Indian" culture which I think has failed for me.
The romance between ved and Samantha is scintillating! The enemies turned lovers trope was very exciting. The University setting of the book is quite stimulating. Simply LOVED it!!!
Let me start of by saying that I love this series. This is a childhood best friends to enemies to lovers and it is amazing!... The banter, the prank wars and the way Ved wins her over, his character is just so perfect all in all. Samantha and Ved have been childhood best friends, so much so that Ved has always loved her a little. Due to some misunderstandings and unfortunate events between their families, they get estranged and both feel the abandonment and blame the other for it.
Their yearning for each other turns to hate, and when the see each other again, the hate creates new fire which of course will blow over, and nothing but love can remain. Ved will make sure of it!
Ved and Samantha have both had some very tough times in their lives. Samantha has completely shielded herself from everyone. Her aim is only to graduate from Simha University so she can claim her inheritance from her estranged father, so that she can take care of her brother, the only person she cares about.
She was determined to stay indifferent to her experience for her remainder time at the university, make no attachments, no friends, talk to anyone or have any kind of social life.
“She was determined to meet his challenge. She wasn’t going to let him affect her. She was going to ignore him and let him know he meant nothing to her.” But Ved pushes her. He won’t let her hide behind her indifference. He will push her out of the college, bully her is necessary, all so that he can atleast get an acknowledgement or a reaction out of her.
“She acted as though he had meant nothing when she had meant everything to him.”
Samantha wanted her time to be peaceful, but Ved is not allowing that. Now its war... and what a war it is! A series prank war begins, each prank pushing them closer, letting the emotions tide over, teeming with so much sexual tension you can cut it with a knife. Its maybe true that hate is just the other side of love.
“She was going to ignore her enemy, but he kept on pushing her. She wasn’t a pushover. Far from it. If Ved Simha wants a war, she would give him a war.”
Despite his anger and hate towards her, and his pranks reaching newer heights, he still feels possessive and protective towards Samantha.
“She was his. His to protect. His to torment. His to desire. The last part of his thoughts made his jaw clench even harder.”
The way Ved finally realizes his own heart and the tenacity with which his goal shifts from driving her out of the university to wanting her beside him all the time. Winning Samantha over is the biggest challenge he has ever faced, considering the biggest obstacle is Samantha herself, but Ved has just perfectly delicious ways to go about it!
The growth of Ved and Samantha’s characters is so well written, some subtle and some not, that it keeps you hooked for things to smoothen out ever more. The pace of the story is perfect, not too rushed, but not to slow either, giving just the perfect number of moments and details to make it amazing! Not to mention the steam factor in this book. Off-the-Charts! “You drive me crazy. You make me feel things I didn’t want to ever feel, let alone with you. I’m hoping to God that I stop feeling this way soon.”
“You drive me crazy too, Sam. You make me feel things even I didn’t think I could feel, let alone with you. But I don’t want it to ever stop. When I’m inside you, it’s the greatest feeling in the whole world. You feel like home.”
I loved the family aspects that were added to this story to bring out the secrets and mistakes of the past. Too many things had gone wrong that lead to too many people hurting and some big tragedies. Ved and Samantha realize the value of what they had lost for so many years and it all come together so well! Would have loved more family interactions especially with all the families coming together with all the hate now buried where its belongs.
PS : Can you point in the direction of these Indian men?
I picked the book up because I was in the mood to read a bully romance & the blurb of this one sounded very interesting, but sadly it was disappointing. I was frustrated with how every time the names were mentioned, it was the characters' full names rather than their first names. If we proofread the book and delete the no. of times Ved was described as VED SIMHA, HER ENEMY, HER BEST FRIEND TURNED ENEMY this book will have half the number of pages it currently has. It was irritating, we do not need to be reminded in every single paragraph that he comes from a very influential family or that he is "her enemy". I literally skipped pages after reading almost 60% of the book, just couldn't take it anymore.
Ved and Samantha were hottest of the three couple. The pain, the longing and the underlying love scripted very well. And I had two doubt and I was happy regarding one become correct. Wanting more to read from the series and it could be great if the meddler gets a happy ending too. Yet another great book from my favourite author.
