At last, kisah-kisah yang diceritakan memang indah dan mengandung pesan bijaknya masing-masing, tapi sayang, menurut saya kurang nyaman dibaca.

Terima kasih, Mr. Andy.

I read this beautiful collection at a time when I was almost out of my mind with pain. It was the perfect distraction; simply re-told, yet with a shining, numinous quality that took me out of myself to a higher plane.

The stories themselves are well and good, but the attributions are sloppy (it will say "source unknown" when it should say "traditional Buddhist story," for example) and there is no index. A better collection is "Doorways to the Soul," edited by Elisa Davy Pearmain

This is one of my favorite books. It is great to use as devotionals or to help one reflectively think about creation and the creator.

Excellent. The traditional stories were particularly good; the more modern ones fell a bit short in comparison.
