Don’t buy this series

The first book of the 10 series was okay and maybe the second but it terrible reading after the first book as the other nine were predictable and outright corny. I kept reading hoping the series got better and it got worse. I don’t recommend this book to anyone.

Best Friend:
I loved this book. Best friends becoming something more and having to decide how much love is worth. I enjoyed the banter and antics between the two and the musings in their heads. The small town seems wonderful and the other characters mentioned seem great - I can’t wait to read about them in future books!
Dyess Audiobook review addition:
I have previously read all of the books by this author and am now working my way through listening to them. This is my first time listening to a book done by Dyess. I've heard amazing things about him, but he simply blew this out of the water! Incredible. The different voices, different enough to easily distinguish characters, but it sounded completely natural. Smooth speaking, emotions, a wonderful presentation of this book.

Secret Baby:
This book really was incredible. It was better than I could’ve imagined. A wonderful second chance, surprise child romance. I absolutely loved these characters and getting to know more of Sweet Water. I’m super pumped for Ford’s story and eagerly anticipating Georgia’s!
Audio addition: This book had the most physical romance (still very clean) of any I’ve heard Dyess read. I was very impressed at how it came across. As always, an audio that caused me to continue to listen (even though I read it earlier this year) rather switch to reading a new book.

Beauty:
I love books with a hint of fairy tale retelling in them and Beauty and the Beast is my favorite of them all! I loved this book. I knew it was going to be good, but wowza was it ever amazing! The background on our two mains was fabulous. I love the double emphasis on the inner rather than outer beauty. Having our second main be a former model was like the icing on a cake. I can't wait to devour the next book!
Audio:
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale. I loved that this is a bit of a retelling. The audio was amazing. There were times where I completely forgot that there was only one person speaking! Incredible.

Best Friend's Sister:
I’ve been waiting for this matchup since the second book. A high level of anticipation with each hint we got. However, I still wasn’t prepared for the intensity and incredibility of this book. It was amazing. Part of me wants to immediately reread it! I can’t wait to see what other books come out of Sweet Water.
Audio:
The hospital saga and all of the “scoops” are wonderful in audio! Another wonderful audiobook by Dyess. Loved it.

Convenient Marriage:
I really enjoyed Rem and Elaine’s story. They both were overcoming heartache and choosing a difficult path. I especially liked the emphasis on the children. I’m excited to read the next book!
Audio:
It’s amazing to me that even though I read this series earlier this year, I am so much enjoying listening to them! I really thing this one hit the heart even harder through audio.

Fairy Tale:
This book has elements of Cinderella in it. I really loved Nell’s heart and smile and choice to be happy and gracious. I think it’s something sorely lacking in our world today. I also liked Ryder and his reasonings and how things came along as he worked through his thoughts and feelings. I was excited to be introduced to a couple characters that we’ll see in upcoming books.
Audio:
Reading a fairy tale - listening to a fairy tale. They are both lovely! I love how Dyess can make so many characters - and personalities - come alive.

Secret Romance:
Wow. These books just keep getting better and better. This book was..just..wow. I don’t have the words. From their histories and the women and the families and friends and everything else.. it was incredible. I didn’t want it to end! But I am beyond pumped for the next book!
Audio:
As I’m beginning to expect, Dyess takes a wonderful book and makes it into an even better experience. I’m sincerely impressed with the little girl voice. :) There was so much happening in this story with the backstory and some secrets and all the characters. I’ve got to say that Clay is a bit of an idiot, but this story wouldn’t be half as good without that.

Bargain Bride:
This was a very unique storyline and I loved it! I couldn't keep from turning the pages (or rather, swiping on my kindle app). My stomach was twisted up in knots almost the whole times as I was on pins and needles about all of the happenings. So much happened in this book between the mains and it was incredible. I'm super excited for Abner's story next.
Audio:
So unique but well done. Some difficult stuff in here and very well portrayed in this audio. Another impressive listen. I totally binged it in one day!

The Cowboy's Enemy:
Wow. I'm speechless. In the first chapter alone I was thrown for so many loops. Total bombshell. I stopped halfway through that chapter and I just sat, shellshocked. This book was very serious and sobering. There was a strong theme surrounding forgiveness for past mistakes and hope for the future. These characters were very well done. I liked the bit of Amish that was woven in. This book definitely didn't have as much of the lightheartedness that most of these books have, but it was really well done and there was still a good amount of humor and teasing.
Audio:
I loved this audio. Abner's voice showed such care!

The Cowboy's Mistletoe Christmas:
So, I had tons of emotions with this book. When I finished the last book I knew Angela was getting the next one and I didn’t like it because I was upset with her. However, by the time I found out about the bet in this book (that’s what I get for not reading the blurb I suppose), I was all upset about the treatment of Angela. Talk about whiplash! Anyways, this book was pretty incredible. Showing that people can change and a focus on the minute by minute choices. I loved the Christmas theme too.
Audio:
I especially loved the little girl's audio :)

My review today is on the Christian Romance, Sweet Water Ranch Western Cowboy Romance Box Set. This set includes books 1-10. These stories are incredible. I can't even tell you which story is my favorite. They are all well-written, heart-warming, and full of faith. I love the way Jessie writes. Her characters are so real, no six-pack abs and beauty queens. They are real people who are a little broader in the middle, with wrinkles, and flaws. They aren't young innocents but many have been through bad marriages, are widowed, and are parents of several children. I love the matchmakers she has in these stories. Several are like fairy tales. I know you are going to love them.

I loved this series! I enjoy the way Jessie Gussman writes. Her books are good clean Christian romances. Each story has a theme about redemption and forgiveness for past mistakes. Some are real tearjerkers. They all have wonderful HEAs that leave a smile on your face. I loved listening to Jay Dyess’ performance. He has sooo many voices that are easy to listen to and follow along with. I will never get tired of listening to him. I have been binging on books by Jessie and Jay not only on Audible but also on YouTube. I think it’s fantastic and they are doing an incredible job! I most definitely highly recommended all their audiobooks.

This is a collection of the first 10 books of Jessie Gussman's "Sweet Water Ranch" series. Each story was unique, inspirational, and unforgettable. Jessie created characters that were authentic and lifelike. Jay Dyess' narration was awesome. He is a true joy to listen to as he performs his narration, and I look forward to hearing more of his work. This audiobook combined the creative talents of Jessie Gussman, with those of the gifted storyteller, Jay Dyess, and created a very enjoyable and memorable audiobook. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Fabulous Series & 10 books altogether

Oh my, these books are wonderful and since I am a bedtime reader they caused me to stay up until almost 3 am till I finished this book and how great they were. Each book so awesome, I felt like part of the book - at one point I almost felt like praying for Mack. Everyone was like a friend. So romantic and exciting and loved all the children.
Jesse is a fantastic story weaver. Don't miss this book. I almost didn't read her book, what do I care about cowboys, even though I live in Texas, but got one for 99 cents, now I have read most of her "cowboy" books & they are romantic & fantastic!

Highly recommend!
I read these because I saw good reviews but one terrible and thought maybe that person was wrong. They were these stories were great they have a theme that carries from one to the next but that’s expected in a series. After reading all 10 I got the 11th and finished it a day after. Now I’m onto the .5 book about the mom of most of the men and women mentioned in the 11 books. I’ve also got lots of her other books on my wishlist and can’t wait to read more from this author. Good clean stories that I can binge I did read 11 books in 12 days so yes they are good and I would recommend to everyone.

It's been a long time since I really really enjoyed every book in a book set! This book set was awesome. You get involved with each and every character. What I like most about it was that there wasn't so much going on as to confuse you and cause you to have to double-back to get the characters straight.

I would highly recommend this book set and most especially this author. Well done, Ms. Gussman!!

Super read.

Sweet Water Ranch involves people who are complex and real. They have issues that are equally complex and difficult to resolve, yet they face each challenge and meet it - sometimes directly and sometimes not. There is a Biblical foundation that underlies each book. Enjoy!

Wonderful collection of stories, each unique

I hope you enjoy this collection of cowboy (and their ladies!) stories as much as I did. Each story is unique to the boy/girl couple. One thread throughout involves a letter, or I should say the same letter to each recipient, an offer of a lifetime, God willing.

I like most of what Jessie Gussman writes, she is a very talented writer, but there were two stories in here that I just couldn't quite finish. It was a bit disappointing, but it was probably just me as I'm sensitive to certain topics and these particular topics didn't work for me. Most of the books in this series were good and entertaining though.

I LOVED this series and I love this author! So appreciative of the lack of gratuitous sex. Just not necessary to the plot. For that matter I wish ALL romance authors would delete them from their books. When I come across those passages, I just skip them altogether. I plan to read every book this author has written. I highly recommend her!!

Mixed reaction to the books

Some i liked. Some not so much. Some dragged to me to fill in words especially the 1st one . I was also surprised at a couple that became very graphic and hurting the other person. I thought i was getting what i consider 'clean" making out. They were very different from what i expected. I did read 8 out of 10 and decided i had had enough.

Sweet Water Ranch Series starts on a high note and ends the same! I hated to see this series end it was one that when I started reading, I didn't want to put them down. These are all stories that show love being faithful, patient, and at times hard, yet worth the work. You don't want to miss a single one!

I liked all the characters and their ebbs and flows. I sometimes felt that there was too much description and that part would drag on and I would want to fast forward

Wonderful series of romances

Each story is complete yet even better when read in sequence. Real people with real problems to overcome. Great love for North Dakota and the small, generally supportive community of Sweet Water.

Sweetwater

Wow what a cowboy combo this is when a local billionaire sends letter to at least 8 local cowboys. Those that find a wife by the deadline keep a billion, minus the taxes. Some find love in the bargain so a win win. Loved this series.

A delicious set of Cowboy Romance stories

Every story led perfectly to the next in such a charming way. The billion dollars inheritance to get married was a bit far fetched, but a girl can dream! A good read to curl up with for many nights. Enjoy!

I loved the way the characters were connected throughout the series although each book had interesting stories and twists of its own. They definitely were not cookie cutter stories.
