Indispensable for making Silverlock a more enjoyable book. Thirty years of reading, one degree in English and another in library science and fifteen years of librarianship later, I still hadn't identified all the characters Shandon meets (and pretty much all the characters do appear in other works).

Indispensable. I'm well-read but I learn something everytime I read Silverlock.
