Jocelyn Reid thought that the stars had finally aligned for her. After waiting for so long, she was finally going to bid on her dream home and regain a small piece of her family's history. She was ready for this life-changing decision until she was outbid by the handsome Simon St. Clair.
Simon is a popular home renovator with his own TV show. Although he is loved by his audience, he feels as if something is missing in his life and he thinks the answer could be found in the house that Jocelyn wants.
Jocelyn isn't ready to give up the house and neither is Simon, so they came up with a plan to work together all while trying to fight their ever-growing attraction to one another.

3.5 Stars for Flipped (audiobook) by Wendy Dalrymple read by Julienne Irons.
I think it’s fun listening to these diy home renovation romances while I’m remodeling homes. I liked the characters but the story took a little extra suspension of disbelief.
I just noticed that this is only 2.84 here on Goodreads and I can't believe it. I think it's very underrated and deserves more hype.
I found out about this while browsing through Scribd and I really enjoyed it. I've read a couple of Wendy Dalrymple's works and have enjoyed most of them, so I was expecting to love this as well. It's a bit longer than those that I've read from her in the past though. What I love about this is that the plot is really realistic. I also liked that this book supports women's decisions of not wanting to have kids even if it did not focus on that, I really appreciate books like this so I always make it a point to mention them in my reviews. The ending was also very satisfying! ♡
As the title suggests, this book is mostly about house flipping and renovations, details which take up large swaths of the book at the expense of building the romance or doing more expansion of the two main characters. All in all, if you’re looking for a short and sweet book that feeds a relaxing escapism bent, then pick this one up.
Quick, sweet, closed-door romance. A renovator of historical homes and star of a TV home renovation show work together to find hidden treasure in an ancestral estate.
** Book Review** Book: Flipped By Wendy Dalrymple Star Rating: 4 stars Genre: Clean Romance
Thoughts: It was short but very cute. You fall in love with the main characters from the first page, although they take longer to do so… The story was nice and sweet, although I wouldn’t have minded a little more drama and a bigger climax. It’s a clean romance about a successful female main character (which I loved!) and a very sexy male main character. It was a cute story to read in February. Give it a chance, and let me know what you think!
I picked this because I wanted a short romance about people who renovated houses. Then I realised the low rating. Nothing at all memorable. Mostly seemed to be about finding buried treasure in the house rather than renovating the house so I was disappointed about that.
Simple, too predictable, no spice. Also didn't like that the main character said she didn't want kids and was childfree and yet in the epilogue has a kid as thats the only way to prove they're "happy" 😒, lazy writing on the authors part.
This was definitely not the book for me. I struggled getting into it. I didn’t really care about the characters, the writing was off-putting for some reason for me, and I thought the story was kind of unbelievable.
2.5 Well, this was quite short and really predictable. We are kinda getting fake rivals vibe that last about 3 seconds, and then it all happy ever after. It was okay
