It's the day after Christmas, and as the kings converge on the mythical sword, Bridgette McGuire's true plan comes to light! Everything hinges on her ritual and who it could release! A storm is brewing... Who will make it through the end of the year in order to set things right?
"if you have to be in Hell, it's better to be in hell together." Duncan made a romantic dinner for her in the forest, a table 2 chairs, wine, lots of candles, some even on top of dry trees. And all i could think of was "This is a forest fire waiting to happen." Am i really too far gone from romance 😭 Will i ever marry! Will i be one of those boring husbands. Wife : You don't bring me flowers. Me : Darling flowers are not good for you, you can't eat them! Here take this delicious chocolate bar with dried fruits inside, i brought one for me too.
I think me reading for Kieron again will be a very hard pill to swallow, i genuinely believe he had run out of story from the first issue of this, what really matters, or meaningful conversations in the novel, stuff that should push the plot forward, have been a thin line compared to the stuff that just kept appearing for no reason and no plot purpose and kept getting killed, or the useless conversations, or the useless events like most stuff that happened in the castle with the elderly people, or the weapon runs. Hopefully my run in with Kieron this time, turns out good in our next series, after all Grant Morrison had a similar thing with me when i read superman new 52 by him, it sucked even more than once and future lol.
Finally finished this series. Read 26 - 30 after having shoved them to the bottom of a growing tbr comic stack. (Oops) So I'm a little removed from the story, but I recognized a few oh shit moments, a clever twist, and enjoyed an action packed ending. Amazing art and colors throughout. I really wish I hadn't let this sit for so long. This was a fun ride.
