Rocktown Ink #6

Just for You

Rate this book
After one hot night together, I thought Addison Belle was finally mine. I was wrong.

She’s made it clear she’s not interested in more. Until a night out drinking has her revealing her true feelings. Addie still wants me. Only something’s holding her back. I should leave her alone. She’s too young, too sweet, but I can’t give her up.

So when she passes out drunk in my truck, I do what I have to. I take her home with me to the mountains. She knows the inked-up biker, but she doesn’t know the mountain man—or the part of me capable of fulfilling every raw and dirty fantasy she’s ever had.

I see the pain in her gorgeous eyes, her need to escape. Addie’s silently begging for someone to hold her down, to stop her spinning out of control—and I’m the man to do it, whatever it takes.

Just For You is book six in the Rocktown Ink series by Sherilee Gray. I have loved this series from the beginning, as I do everything Sherilee writes. But I don’t think I was prepared for this book. You’re going to need those industrial fans for this one, friends. Because I do believe this is her hottest book yet. Just wait until you meet Levi and Addie!

Addison “Addie” Belle owns the local bakery in Rocktown and is twenty six years old. She has no family, having just recently lost her Aunt. But she was adopted by the women of Rocktown. Cassy, Quinn, Everly, Lila and Trixie have become her family. They often hang out at the Ramblers MC club which is where she first saw Manic. They’ve been flirting for months. Something keeps pulling them together but then she always dances away, keeping her distance. Because Addie can’t allow herself to be close to a man. But finally, one night she did give in and Manic gave her everything she needed. But it was only one night and she stole away in the early hours before he could convince her to stay.

Levi “Manic” Smith grew up in the mountains of Colorado with his cousins, the Smith Brothers, but he wanted and needed more than their simple life of living off the land. Manic is thirty six years old, eleven years older than Addie. He is a tattoo artist and also a member of the Ramblers MC. Manic has never been a relationship guy. There are plenty of women that hang around the club and he can have his pick any time he wants. But it’s Addie that he really wants. She gets a little closer than pulls away again. She has secrets, Manic knows she does. But he can’t figure out what it is keeping her from him. After their one night together, he thinks he finally has made progress until she disappears. So about a month later, when Addie is drunk and reveals just a little bit of herself and her true feelings, Manic decides he’s taking control of the situation. He needs to go home to Colorado to try to make peace with his dad. So he’s taking Addie with him. Only she’s currently passed out. They need this time together to really get to know each other so he can convince her that he is her future. Hopefully she’ll forgive him for kidnapping her!

“I was claiming this girl.
She was mine.
She just didn’t know it yet.”

I’ll leave things there. Addie and Manic’s weekend is filled with so much! Manic knows just how to keep Addie’s mind filled with nothing but him and let me tell you, he goes over and above the call of duty. This man takes control in the bedroom to a whole new level. But I think the part where I truly went over the edge for Manic is after they got home. That’s all I’ll say.

This book was so steamy! I hope you’re e-readers aren’t prone to melt downs! Addie’s struggles were so deeply ingrained she just didn’t know how to dig herself out. And Manic would literally do anything for her. Together they had me flipping the pages hoping for their happy ever after. This has been such a fantastic series. I can’t wait to see what Sherilee does next!

Just for You is EXACTLY the reason I read Sherilee Gray's writing. She writes sassy heroines and growly and protective alphas with delicious and fiery sexytimes along with a strong emotional connection! I loved Levi and Addie so much!!

I have been following and reading the Rocktown Ink series for a while now and was so ready for more! Levi and Addie had a strong and steamy connection. This book will singe your fingers y'all!!! But I also loved how the author showcased Levi's need for Addie beyond the physical. He knew she was different and was committed to making her his!

I also loved how dominant Levi was and how he opened up Addie's world. It was sexy and fiery and made everyone want to be his Good Girl. He was also patient and understanding about Addie's painful past and trauma. I swear I love him so so much! 5 stars! ~Ratula ❤️

I was expecting a run-of-the-mill smutty novella, but ended up absolutely loving this!

✅ MMC is a gruff biker, but also the steadiest and dreamiest ex-mountain man
✅ FMC puts on a wild girl facade but is emotionally skittish due to unresolved grief
✅ Gold standard praise kink, which was not only scorching but actually made sense for the characters (plus the dirty talk was also 🥵)
✅ Character growth that was NOT brought on by magical dick

It feels too early in the year to add another book to my top tier list, but this is a strong contender as I’m pretty sure I’ll reread. Might come back and add it later!

Just For You was an awesome read. It’s one I have been looking forward to reading. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was hot, steamy, sexy and sweet. I loved the way Manic was with Addie. He’s big, gruff, dominant and protective but with her he’s also sweet and gentle. I enjoyed their journey and loved the fact that I got to catch up with past couples. It was wonderful experiencing this town and characters. I will definitely miss this series. I recommend this as well as the previous books in the series.

This book is HAWT as in SCORCHING!

Addie is dealing with some serious issues as a result of a traumatic event. The development of her relationship with Levi at the beginning of this book is a direct result of her dealing with the weight of her issues. However, what follows is a crazy ride with a biker/mountain man that has stumbled upon how she really feels and sets out to make her his own.

Levi was intense in every way. While it won’t fit everyone’s image of the perfect hero, I loved the big bad boy biker that’s actually a teddy bear inside. As things with Addie come into the light, he truly becomes a shining hero by simply giving her what she needs.

This is what I would consider erotica but it has a great story interlaced with it. The smexy times often touch on Addie’s emotions and her needs. If you like things explicit, you are going to want to read this. If you like a couple that figures out how to assist each other when they need help, you’re going to absolutely love this.

I am so in love with this book! Everyone needs Levi “Manic” mother-fucking Smith in their life! I’m so glad I experienced this sexy beast of a man in all his muscly, tattooed, dirty-talking…no…FILTHY-talkin’ glory. GEEZ, MAN. I’m pretty sure my kindle is still smoking. *heart eyes*

I started book one in this series a couple of weeks ago, hoping to get through books 1-5 so I could be ready for this one. I only got books 1 and 2 read, but that did not stop me from enjoying the hell out of this one! And will I be going back to read books 3-5? YES!!!

Manic…holy hot AF, bossy-and-in-charge, sexy as sin biker. He’s a member of the Ramblers MC and my goodness, I wanted to ride him…er, I mean…ride on his *bike*. (yeah, that’s it) The way he gives commands, the way he is so protective, the way he snuggles (what?!) while still being badass. Be still my vagina.

I WANT TO BE HIS GOOD GIRL!!

And Addie was such a strong heroine. After the trauma she’s been through, she did what she had to do (or thought she had to do) to prevent herself from getting hurt. This story was emotional and reading what she went through squeezed my heart. And seeing how Levi understood her, respected her, ADORED her, and waited for her was probably the sexiest and swooniest thing about this book.

And have I mentioned the steam level? SCORCHING WHITE HOT. I was feeling all sorts of zings in my things and everywhere in between. If you love a dirty-talking hero, then grab this book, get comfortable, recharge those batteries, and enjoy all the deliciousness bursting from the pages.

Once again, I am WOWed by this author’s words. Not only was this love story intoxicating and passionate, it was touching and beautiful and filled with tons of heart.

Just For You😍

The next book in the Rocktown Ink series is almost here and features Addie, our local cafe owner as well as Levi Smith aka Manic but also Smith of the mountain Smiths…..*swoon*😉

I really enjoyed this story, as it spans across Rocktown as well as Colorado where the Smiths are from originally. This story reached out and grabbed onto me and did not want to let me go. There are ups and downs, some suspenseful moments and best of all amazing characters and the feeling of NEVER wanting this story to end🤩 I don’t want to say too much more as I don’t want to spoil it for anyone else, so I’ll leave it there and say just get it and read it.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

Skimmed the majority of the book, but I think I got it all. Addie says no, what’s his butt pushes ahead anyway. Addie calls him by his dumb nickname, she gets spanked, they have sex.. rinse repeat. Add in a couple hundred panic attacks, and it’s a love story for all the ages.

Rating: 4 ⭐ (I loved it)

I was already enjoying this series a lot, so I didn’t even read the summary for this book. You can imagine my squeal of delight when I realized the hero was a Smith cousin! I’ve loved the Mountain Men series, and this felt like the perfect crossover to tie the two worlds together while seeing the FMC and MMC interact with characters I already knew.

The chemistry between the FMC and MMC was swoony, heartfelt, and just the right mix of tension and sweetness. The FMC has some trauma she needs to work through, and the MMC is there for her — knowing when to step in and when to give her space.

The romance hit all the right notes — protective, funny, and steamy in all the ways Sherilee Gray does best. This book gave me exactly what I wanted: a familiar, cozy, emotionally satisfying read with the bonus of connecting two beloved series.

Even though I finished reading the book I didn’t like it cause it felt like Levi the H in the plot was pressuring the h to do what he wanted in bed
He was into light BDSM with domination stuff
He used her panic attacks to his advantage with sweet praises and how good girl she was
Due to the age gap between them (11 years)
It gave me a weird vibe when he started calling her that to lighten the rough sex and all the spanking 🫤🫤🫤😑😑

And what with the h she insists on calling the H by his moniker biker (Manic) while he keeps telling her to call him by his name
Levi ( so she's a moron above of being a pushover 🙂🙂 great 🤦‍♀️🙂🙄😓😓)

Addison Belle is the woman he wants, but the illusive beauty has proven to be almost impossible to catch. She gave him one night, but was gone by the time that morning rolled around, giving off an air that it was one a time deal and she wasn't interested in more. So he cut his losses and attempted to move on. But then one night after a few too many drinks she admits otherwise, and it's all he needs to put his plan in motion. She will be his once and for all!

Just For You is an emotionally charged and scorching tale that will hold you hostage from beginning to end! From the get-go I found myself enamored with these two and the story they had to tell, it tortured in all the best ways. The push and pull between them was downright painful at times, but so totally worth it in the end. Addie has some darkness in her past and as it comes to light things in the story take a really emotional turn, but Levi's support never falters, he just steps up and gives her exactly what she needs. He proves that he can handle anything she throws at him and will stick around for the long haul, which is something she has never really had. It's truly a beautiful thing to watch unfold, the personal growth of both characters, and then the love between them take flight. Ahh...It's seriously something special and I loved every moment of it. They might just be my favorite couple of the series yet!! (Yes I know I say that every time!)

If you like your fairy tales a little on the naughty side then I have no doubt you will love what these two bring to the pages... they will have you blushing the whole way through! Highly recommend!!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

This book is billed as #6 in the Rocktown Ink series, but it is also essentially #4 in the Smith Brothers. Turns out that Manic (or Levi, as he prefers to be called by Addie) is another cousin of Cash, Beau and Hank.

Much like Beau, Manic felt the need to leave the isolated mountains where they were born and raised, but that didn't stop it from being home. Since he is returning there for the first visit in ages, and needs a plus one, who better to drag along than Addie. He figures he can work on her resolve to keep him at a distance while they are at it. Only things don't go exactly to plan, not for any of it.

Much like all of the Smith men, once Levi finds his true love, he is all in! Even though it proves a lot tougher than he had anticipated. Not only does he love and adore Addie, but he fulfills her in ways that she could have only dreamed about. While totally being a big, tough, dominant dude, he is also all about pleasure and (other than a little bit of kidnapping) consent, all of which is such a turn-on.

But Addie is messed up in ways that Manic never even considered. And while her ideas are understandable, they certainly aren't reasonable or justified. Even though she knows this logically, it takes an awful lot for her to finally see reason.

In the meantime, however, Manic waits for her! Like, waits and waits and waits. That is most definitely the hottest thing of all, in my opinion. And it makes him totally worthy of the love and trust that she finally bestows upon him.

There are very steamy love scenes. Hero likes to call her his "good girl" and praises her all the time. "You do that so well."

I have not read the earlier books but author told me everything I needed to know. The book reads fine as a stand alone.

The hero is a biker but there is no violence. They just like to party and ride bikes. Hero is a tattoo artist.

He has been with many women in the past but once they are together he never touches another woman.

Heroine has some trauma from her past she is dealing with and has panic attacks. She pushes hero away and doesn't want him to know.

There are a few spanking scenes and one scene where he ties her hands with her underwear.

I liked how he knew he wanted to be with her and had never felt this way before. He was all in.

There is also a scene at a party where a guy is bothering her so the hero punches that guy a few times.

DNF
This was not for me. The book jumped right into them having sex, and their sex talk made me so uncomfortable that I closed the book… tried again several days later thinking I could still like the story if I just fast phased through it, but it went from bad to worse. So it’s a no.

It was awkward, embarrassing and felt a bit misogynistic. Everything was about him being pleased. Him getting his. Him telling her how bad she probably wanted to make him feel good. And then afterwards, after being a good girl, she would be rewarded. Yeah… no thank you. Not the time for this.

So, did not continue reading.

Sorry to say.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
This book does come with a few trigger warnings, as Addison is navigating PTSD after losing her entire family in a fire at a young age. That emotional depth added a powerful layer to the story. While the storyline may have been a bit predictable, it was still incredibly engaging and kept me hooked, always wanting to read just one more chapter.

The spice level was extra spicy and absolutely delivered, and the characters were so lovable that it made it easy to stay invested in their journey. I’m genuinely sad to see this series come to an end, but this was a great book to finish it off with an ending that felt satisfying and memorable.

I originally DNF at 20% because it dives right into a really strong hook with little context and I wasn’t interested in proceeding based on that intro. I eventually did keep reading though because 1) so many people liked this one and 2) it was easier than finding a new book to start, and I’ll admit it got better… marginally. As the character arcs developed, I stopped glazing over paragraphs and actually wanted to hear their thoughts/dialogue. The 🌶 scenes became palatable once I understood their backstories and personalities. And THANK GOD when they finally redirected the “using sex to cope with trauma” BS. Dealing with a very tortured heroine here.

It definitely has a specific hook, so if you’re not into dominating brat tamers, this won’t be for you - but could be a good MC starter book for those looking to get into that genre.

Bring on the Heat!!

Once again Sherilee Gray does not disappoint if you love a steamy read with a sexy Alpha male. I could not put the book down. Outstanding as usual and I can hardly wait for her next book. Definitely one of my favorites by this author and I have read everything she had ever written.

idk i was kinda irritated that the whole time it was just the mmc pursuing her and making endless compromises for her. for the majority of the book she’s just using him in one capacity or another. i would’ve liked to see him let her go and for her to chase him at some point. the one sided aspect made it kinda boring

I read this one for fun after perusing a Reddit thread. While a light, easy read, I couldn't get over some of the cringe elements of this book. The ending in particular was bad. I think maybe this genre isn't for me 🤣 Levi and Addie were cute at times but I wish the plot was about more than sex and Addie's mental health struggles. I wanted to know more about the characters.

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this.

Levi? Everything!! He was so so sweet, steadfast and committed to Addi.

Addi took FOREVER to get her ass in therapy knowing damn well she should’ve been in it. She annoyed me at times but I also really felt for her.

This book? KINKY AFFFFF. Spice galore.
