Hot Minutes: The Bi Guys

Rate this book
These four MMF short stories bring the heat with the kind of immersive writing that takes you right into these characters’ worlds, from the hard streets of the LA underground crime scene to an Australian vacation, to a London college town and a luxury NYC loft. Each story is completely different from the next, but they all share one thing. Whether it’s their first time or a long-term thing, these guys are bi and they don’t hold back. Stories from Ophelia Bell, Madelynne Ellis, Alyssa Turner and Bianca Vix.

After You by Ophelia Bell
Lazarus wants something special from his girlfriend, Celeste, but he’s got to give it up first to the hot tattooist who’s got them both in his radar. Her backdoor is locked until Lazarus lets Maddox in, and most importantly, she gets to watch.

Friday Night Rendezvous by Madelynne Ellis
Charlie never thought she’d share her fantasies about her three college flatmates, and if it wasn’t for the racket two of these irresistible guys made banging the headboard against the wall every Friday night, she might have never been discovered. Turns out she isn’t the only one tuning in.

True Story, No Lie by Alyssa Turner
Tricia has been missing her boyfriend Hill while he’s away on tour. Good thing she has two more with her at home to keep her entertained. After Marty and Pete tell her about the first time they blurred the line from friends to lovers, Tricia realizes she’s ready to live her own truth with all of them.

Just My Luck by Bianca Vix
Chase had plans to travel with his girlfriend and his best friend on a once in a lifetime trip. But when they both ditch him, and he’s left without a hotel room, it’s the attractive couple next to him at the bar who show him the adventure he’s really been craving all along.

Five Star Collection!

By: Alyssa Turner, Ophelia Bell, Madelynne Ellis, Bianca Vix
Narrated by: Bea Kay, Rhys David, B. J. Hunter, Rachel Music, Stephen Ridgewood, Cecile Foster

Overall: 5 of 5 stars. Performance: 5 of 5 stars. Story: 5 of 5 stars

Four different stories, each beautifully written, beautifully unique, beautifully sensual, and fantastically, stunningly, beautifully narrated!

In the first story, “After You”, Lazarus has secret longings and Celeste loves him enough to make him see that he can be true to the man he is, and still be the man for her. Listening to this beautiful story filled my heart with joy! The growth in Lazarus’ character as he came into his own, and the route Celeste took (no spoilers) to bring him there, was the epitome of creative sensual writing and I loved it!

Story two is a complete polar opposite and I loved it! “Friday Night Rendezvous”, features Charlie and some very vivid, very hot, fantasies about her three very male roommates! She secretly uses these fantasies in a very private manner, and they remain that way, until they don’t, oops! What ensues is a hot, brilliantly written, delightfully entertaining story that I will be listening to over and over again!

Story three, omg, story three, True Story, No Lie”, has Marty and Pete telling Tricia about their first time swimming in the man pond while they await the return of their fourth, Hill, from a trip. This story got to me, really got to me! Poignant, ugly cry, grinning like a fool, heart soaring joy, all the feels delivered, got to me! No spoilers, just listen and you’ll see what I mean. I absolutely LOVED it!

This brings us to our final story, “Just My Luck”. This one has Chase on the trip of his dreams when his girlfriend and best friend ditch him! Talk about bad luck! Fate has something better in mind for him though, in the form of a lovely couple he meets at the hotel bar! At first, I really felt for poor Chase and was angry on his behalf, but, (no spoilers) thanks to artful writing, intriguing characters and oh my, glorious heat, it wasn’t long before I forgot all about what got Chase here, and became completely immersed in this hot, sweet story!

In summary, I have to say that I truly loved each one of these stories! This is without a doubt a keeper, a five star collection that will be a frequent re-listen in my library!

I won’t lie I really enjoyed the other authors books but to be honest I just got this for Ophelia Bell’s book

This is a short story about 35 pages and a small little snippet of the book in the second skin series called a Mad Dog. This is an incredibly saucy seems that as you can see from my review about the original book it’s very heated. Listening to an audiobook with it at the moment and wow the person that’s doing the narration is incredible.

Second Skin
Maddox (Mad Dog) is a ex navy now a tattoo artist in a rough area of LA that is run by cartels.
Papa Flores runs the world surrounding Maddox and his family but he hasn’t been messed up with him since he was a kid.
Celeste is the daughter of papa Flores and runs his properties. After papa Flores hurts a love interest for getting too close she can’t let herself get too close to Leo one of her bodyguards.
I won’t lie I wasn’t sure I’d 100% love this like all her other book but I should have trust in the queen of dragons to deliver me a amazing book.
This is heavily based around the American-Mexican cartel which I don’t know much about other then what I’ve watched in movies so it’s nice to see this family and loyalty side but still with the gritty stuff.
Absolutely loved this and can not wait till next book.
This is first book in a long time that’s kept me awake and when I did go to sleep I woke up in night desperate to carry on.

My favorite story is After You by Ophelia Bell ( she later expands and updates the story into a different book called Mad Dog ). Maddox is my favorite character in the After You story but the story is too short so I’m glad she reworked it into Mad Dog and rereleased the updated story.
The other stories were also good and for the most part I was curious how the other stories would continue if the authors had written more.
