Sinners and Saints #2

Beautiful Sinner

Rate this book
Our families made the arrangement. He made me his.

When I first screamed his name in shameful surrender, Sevastian Kozlov was the enemy, the heir of a rival family who had just finished spanking me into submission after I dared to defy him.

Though he'd already claimed my body by the time he claimed me as his bride, no matter how desperately I long for his touch I vowed this beautiful sinner would never conquer my heart.

But it wasn't up to me...

Publisher's   Beautiful Sinner is a stand-alone novel which is the second entry in the Sinners and Saints series. It includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

I loved this book!
This was my first book by Piper Stone and definitely won't be the last.
Hot, steamy, action packed, great plot, great characters.
A somehow dark mafia romance that had everything a dark mafia romance should.
Even though the book was extremely steamy, the plot and the action weren't diminished.
Maybe a little more violent than what i am used to, but it was so interesting and well written, so that it didn't matter to me.
Awesome!.

Buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a deliciously dark story 😊. All the makings of a great a mafia story because there will be suspense, betrayal, sleepless nights, bad judgement or not, secrets, violence, hope, and maybe love.
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
This is the second book in the Sinners and Saints series each book reads as a standalone, each book will keep you on the edge and turning the pages just to get a glimpse of a sexy man who makes no apologies so get comfortable. Two people meet when they are young, she just turning a teenager and him an adult (technically) both are from mafia families and their father’s leader to rival sides so living normal is kind of out of the question. Meeting while attending her thirteenth birthday party and lives goes on as usual fast forward to her twenty-first birthday, he stops an attempted rape of her setting a tone for their future. Sevastian sexy as all get out youngest son of the Pakhan Bratva in NY, after being attacked by Cesare Vincheti the head of the Italian mafia so to avoid a war between them they come up with a solution his daughter Giada is promised to his son. Fast forward to today they are both learning they were promised to each other as children to ensure peace between the two of families so from the moment they meet as adults their chemistry is insanely intense and the magnetic pull is already there making sure it isn’t ignored yet no matter how attracted Sevastian is to her he still treats her terrible, all he shows her is his angry side, his cold, side and that he is emotionless or better word entitled sometimes . Giada is sweet but needs to put her foot down more although, she was raised to be the submissive wife to someone in their line of work so she takes a lot of his mess so I found myself screaming her like nope girl don’t take that, say something back, but will he learn to love her, will he learn to treat her respect, will she stand up for herself putting a stop to his mistreatments, secrets will come out, betrayal, violence, aspects of rape, humiliation, is she strong enough to deal with him, his many ways, will she learn to love over hate, and is there some type of happiness written for these enemies to lover especially after so much push/pull?.

“Beautiful Sinner” is the 2nd book in the ‘Sinners and Saints’ series by Piper Stone. It’s a dark mafia romance, with no direct connection to the first book so you can read it as a standalone. Just as with any book, please pay attention to the content warnings given by the author and publisher.

Giada and Sevastian first meet at her birthday party when she is turning 13 and he is about 18. Their fathers are the leaders of rival mafias in New York, and so neither lives a ‘normal’ life. That birthday party ends in a shocking way that sets the tone for the rest of the story. At a party years later, just before she turns 21, Sevastian saves her from an attempted rape. Neither recognizes the other from her 13th birthday party. The present-day encounter ignites a very adult connection between them because they immediately have powerful chemistry. As the story unfolds, both learn what their fathers had been up to years ago at the birthday party, and how it’s going to now dictate their futures. Their fathers promised them both in marriage to one another as a way to broker a long peace between the families. Giada’s own plans for her life are thrown away into the trash.

This is a fast-moving story. There are a lot of issues about vengeance and vendettas, loyalty and betrayal, alliances and double-crosses - all the things that make dark mafia stories so great. Toward the end of the story, it can get a bit confusing at times regarding all the different mafia groups, so you need to pay attention to that. The physical chemistry between Giada and Sevastian is intense, and there is a scene between them and a piano in a restaurant … well, you’d just have to read it to really understand. My main problem with this book was that I never felt like I saw them fall in love; this was particularly true for Sevastian. I also thought the identity of someone in the story was left too unclear and that was frustrating. I thought the overall ending of the story was good, and I’ll look for the next in the series.

I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily sharing my thoughts and opinions. I also purchased a copy on Amazon.

Sevastian Kozlov the youngest son of the Pakhan leader of the Bratva in New York. His family was attacked by Cesare Vincheti the Italian mafia. Their family survived but not without some scars. So his father was scheming a way to retaliate without starting a war so a deal was made. What Sevastian didn't know it involved him and it would include Giada Vincheti. The throwaway children of the families. Neither were told until nearly eight years later that they would be married to keep peace between the feuding families.

Giada was a pushover and let him do whatever he wanted 😒 She needed a backbone to the point I wanted to scream! She and her oh my body is turned on by him BS oh puleaase! All the while he enjoyed humiliating her. He is nothing but a pig. A cold, angry, emotionless, entitled sad excuse for a man.
She was always thinking I owe more to myself, I'm not a possession, my body isn't for sale but in the same breath oh he makes me hot I'm want him.REALLY!!!UUUGHH she was a wet noodle. Where was the fight, the hate at what was happening?🤔 She kept saying how she was angry and hated herself and the brute that was forcing himself on her yet she basically gave in every time with little or no fight. Oh I want this over no I never want it to end!?#?😵‍💫 She just gave up on her dreams and life.

Their story continued that way till about 55 to 56% in then it slowly began to shift. He began to show some compassion and she kinda started to have a backbone. The story began to rev up and the suspense and danger intensified as well as their relationship. I started to like him by the end, I just wished she showed more fight and spunk in the beginning. (Oh and the book ended at 87%). I struggled to decide what to rate this one because I was so frustrated with them especially her up to the 56% point.

I received an ARC through Booksprout an I'm voluntarily leaving my review.

The Bratva and the Italian Mafia are at war and the leaders of the feuding families have a plan. Both fathers are scheming to arrange a marriage between their children. Giada is 13 and Sevastian is 18 when they meet at her birthday party. Years later, just before she turns 21 and the wedding will take place, Sevastian saves her from an attempted rape. He knows she's his, but he has a certain amount of vengeance in his heart and he plans to use her and hurt her. I was quite disappointed in Sevastian and considered him more of an anti-hero. He had a toxic attitude toward Giada, but it didn't mean he didn't enjoy the sex! She was left in tears, not trusting him and not believing that he could ever really feel anything for her. Piper Stone is a master of the dark romance and rough sex, but in this case, Sevastian was overboard with his mistrust and desire to punish. Giada was young and I could understand that she was affected by his charisma and power, and she did get in quite a few sassy remarks and refusals to bow to his whims. Toward the end, they needed to pull together to fight a common enemy. The identity of the one who was trying to kill the Koslov family was a surprise, along with the traitor in their midst. This story is very well-written, with multi-faceted characters who practically leapt of the page. The pace was a little slow, but it didn't detract from the story. I am anxious for the next book in the series.

An arranged marriage. A deal struck in blood by their fathers when she was just thirteen. Now, nine years later he’s back to honor that deal and claim what’s his. Assuming other factors aren’t in play, assuming there’s nothing nefarious afoot, assuming they both survive. “Beautiful Sinner” is a fast moving, thrilling, mysterious, scorching HOT, Piper Stone Mafia romance and fantastic does not begin to cover this delicious listen! Filled with mystery, suspense, intrigue, heart pounding action and FABULOUSLY narrated, I throughly enjoyed every single second of this one! The characters are plentiful, varied, diverse and interesting! I especially loved Sevastian and Giada, the two main characters. Their progression seemed so natural, so authentic! The way their relationship grew and deepened was positively beautiful! And their physical relationship? All I can say is as I reach for my fan is scorching hot WOW! I loved their naughty, so naughty physical encounters! These two were soooo meant to be! I also really loved everything about the plot. The intrigue was off the charts. I had my guesses and I was of course wrong! When all is said and done, I loved everything about this one. Five amazing stars!

Even for Ms. Stone, this book pushed the boundaries with its level of violence
and retribution. There were so many layers of complexity to this story. Secrets
revealed, forgiveness is given, and blood is shed. This mafia-themed story is not for the light-hearted with it's elements of non-consensual sex, humiliation, and trepidation. I loved this enemies to lovers story, but I had doubts for a HEA with Sevastian’s deep-seated need for revenge against the Vincheti family. I was shocked by the 360 degrees turnaround by both characters. They went from hating and plotting each other's demise to declaring their unbridled love for each other.

Initially, I wouldn't say I liked Sevastian. He was brutal and out for revenge. He
stripped Giada of her dignity and enjoyed a game of cat and mouse throughout
the book. She intrigued him with her resilience and strength. Will his knowledge of human dreprivation be enough to keep them both safe?

I admired Giada's spunk. She went from one prison to another with no avenue for escape. Eventually, Sevastian pierced her heart, leaving her emotions all over the place. Why was it expected that daughters pay the price for their fathers sins? She was torn between hate and love. She craved him. She hated him. The dichotomy of emotions overwhelmed her.

This story was beautiful in its brutality with enough hope for a happy ever after.

RECEIVED THIS FREE ARC FOR AN HONEST REVIEW! (Sevastian & Giada): TRIGGERS: bratva/mafia violence, gun violence, sexual assault, kidnapping, PTSD, bdsm. Really good story by the end. The Russians and the Italians hate each other and have spent their time in New York taking one shot at each other after another. Giada is the Italian princess who loves music and has a curious mind for her father's business. Sevastian is the son of the bratva boss and had been trained at a young age to kill. Then an arranged marriage is set up between them to make a truce between families. The story is an enemies to lovers story. These two are like oil and water from the beginning and argue nonstop. Sevastian is mean and a little cruel and Giada is naive. Honestly, I didn't really like Giada. She was very judgmental about Sevastian and his family as if her family wasn't the Italian Mafia. Which she did know about? 🤷🏾‍♀️ I loved that even though these two were fighting to keep their feelings for each other to themselves, their attractions were not easy to hide. I loved the mystery behind all the players in the story. That it wasn't just these two families but there were cartel members, DEA agents AND politicians involved. The author will keep you on your toes trying to find out who the ultimate bad guy is. It does read a bit slow in the beginning but when it picks up, it's like a drop from the top of the highest and longest roller coaster. Hang on, cause this is a wild ride.

Piper Stone has once again written an exciting, sensual, hot and romantic thriller about a forced Italian and Russian Mafia alliance formed through the arranged marriage of Sevastian Kozlov, a son of the Bratva head of the New York branch, and Giada Vincheti, the youngest daughter of the Italian boss of the Vincheti crime family as a means of keeping the peace between the two families. While Sevastian’s initial intention was to use, abuse and ignore the Vincheti brat as he thought of her, Giada proves to be anything but the type of woman he could ever hope to become indifferent to. In fact, their chemistry is so charged that the merest inadvertent touching between them sends shock waves throughout their bodies. Breathing down the necks of these two families are the DEA, a corrupt US Senator with certain proclivities, a traitor in the Kozlov ranks, and the Colombians who are trying to move in on both the Vincheti and Kozlov’s territories. The action is non-stop, filled with passion and emotion that will move you all over the place, and ultimately love that each one chooses to embrace and nurture. It is another Piper Stone must-read triumph!

Giada meets a handsome young boy at her thirteenth birthday party, unbeknownst to her, she would eventually call him her husband, well if both of them can survive their chaotic and dangerous families. Sevastian Koslov is the youngest son of the head of the Russian Bratva and his father has contracted with the Italian Mafia to unite the two families thru a wedding. That wedding is to take place on the day of his future wife's twenty first birthday which they both share but he has yet to be told who is bride is. Years go by and an unexpected encounter between the two occurs when Sevastian saves her from being raped by her date. This story is a roller coaster of a ride that vacillates between dangerous and mysterious situations to intense, highly sexual scenes that will keep your heart racing. I loved this series and HOPEFULLY wish that Ms. Stone will consider adding another story that might feature Giada's younger sister and one of Sevastian's brother or even his right hand man, Sanchaz.

"Life is about taking chances, Giada. It's also about defying the odds. This is what you want yet?"
To me there is nothing better than a mafia romance book and Piper Stone writes great ones! This is about Sevastian of the Bratva and Giada of the Italians. These 2 families have been at war with each other but are able to broker a deal. I like how the book starts back in time and fills us in on details and then works its way up to the present day. Giada is a mafia princess who has been sheltered but has done her best to figure out the mafia world and also how to protect herself if needed. Sevastian is hard and wants revenge, but Giada might change him at least with her. I wasn't ready for the book to end I will say that I really enjoyed reading about this couple. It was spicy, sweet and funny. This couple can spar verbally with each other which kept it entertaining. I also enjoyed the saints and sinners coin that Sevastian had and the game he played with it. The spice is there between Sevastian and he definitely knows what he is doing, and Giada enjoys every minute of it.

This is book 2 in the Sinners & Saints Series. It's Savastian & Giada's story and is loaded with everything you could want in a mafia romance with a great plot and storyline.

I am really enjoying this series, it's my favorite so far from this author. I love strong FMC and angsty possessive alpha males and this story has them both. I really enjoyed the first book in the series but think I like this one even more.

Even though the story and plotting is on par with some of my favorite Mafia Authors, it gets 4 stars just like book 1. Why 4 stars & not 5? Two reasons...first as is the same with the first book, there are just too many easy to find and fix grammatical and word usage errors to overlook to give it 5 stars although I almost did. Second, we are left hanging and never find out the name of the DEA agent who infiltrated the bratva ranks even though he was taken out by the end. If Amazon implemented a half star system, this would be 4.5 ⭐

Sevastian was doing what he was told. True the Vincheti is the enemy but it is best to keep the enemy close. When his father strikes a deal, it is long in the making. Giada didn’t know what to think of the stranger. He was Bratva. Being forced to marry the man for a duty to the family. She would never fall for him. Sevi has his ways though. The families are in a war but with the deal of Sevi marring Giada, it seems to heat up. These two have a chemistry. In the beginning you think he is a cold hearted b*******. But as these two learn about each other, they are both cut from the same cloth. It is the sins of the father that tends to cause the biggest issue. What was to be a “get to know each other” turns heated with an ambush. These two fight and throw barbs at one another but it leads to some hot and steamy sex. A LOT. But there is still someone out to get them and when all the piece are put in place, WOW.

This one was a bit of a tough read for me. I am a sucker for a good age-gap story (even though 5 years isn’t much of an age gap). I also loved, LOVED, their chemistry. Physical chemistry, to be specific.

What bothered me most, was the power imbalance in their relationship. I also couldn’t buy into the authenticity of their feelings and their love for each other (because of the above point), and that’s what made this a bit of a tough read for me, from start to finish. I should add though, that this is a personal preference for me.

The trigger warnings didn’t bother me, but I was grateful for them. That being said, this wasn’t the first Piper Stone book for me; and it won’t be the last. I also don’t say this very often, but who knows - the likelihood of my re-reading this book is high.

This is the second book in the Sinners and Saints series each book reads like a standalone, so no need to read in order, but since they are both available to read with Kindle Unlimited, why not read them both. This is about Sevastian, youngest son of the Bratva Pakhan in New York and Giada, the youngest daughter of the Italian Mafia. They are the "throw away" kids in both families, so the create peace between the families, they are promised to each other in marriage. When they find out about this deal and meet as adults, there is an intense attraction, but Sevastian treats her terriblly, he is emotionless towards her, and cruel. Giada is sweet, kind, and submissive. How will they ever find happiness. The book is full of sizzle, steam, action, drama, betrayal, violence, and more. Another great read by Piper Stone.

I really enjoyed and this book it’s for sure my favorite in the series thus far there is so much in this book! From very beginning these families always did terrible things to each other but when a contract is made will everything change? The woman is very independent even though everything in life is chosen for her she has very feisty spirit among other things too. All the men have to go this school to learn there how to become what they need to be in these crime families. So when fate brings these two back together after so many years not knowing what ahead of them, and not knowing they met before will they melt each other ice covered insides. A amazing, funny enemies to loves, mafia crime fighting within wonderful characters and so much more. Your love this book the characters bring out the best in one another in my opinion it’s so hard to put this book down once you get started 😂.

I just finished this book and I still have no idea what I read. I kind of liked Giada. She was stubborn and headstrong and completely indecisive. Sevastian was hot and dominant and also completely indecisive. Do they hate each other? Are they in love with each other? Considering they barely had a conversation with each other, I'm not sure how love was supposed to happen. Plenty of steam but the plot was so confusing and this was really disappointing, especially since the first book at least had a plot that you could follow. I thought they had finally come to the same place and would start working as a team but turn the page and they are back to hating each other but still screwing each other's brains out. If you enjoy whiplash, this is the book for you.

They both want each other...will their lives allow it?

Piper what can I say? This is another winner! She will never forget the boy at her 13th birthday party. He gives her a present to remember him by. Little did she know what turn of events would bring him back it her life. He is demanding and dominant. She will learn to do as she's told, for her safety. Their relationship literally explodes around them bring hot steamy days and nights. Will she learn how and why she is there with him? Can the masterful mafioso change? This book is a five-alarm fire with rough explicit scenes and heavy discipline. I recommend this book for those that love hot and heavy stories. If you are faint of heart or a little squeamish this is not the story for you.

Sevastian's family was attacked by the Vincheti family, and in order to prevent a war, Giada will become his bride on her 21st birthday. They have encountered each other briefly in the past, but it is a surprise for them both. He vows to always hate her, and to break his lovely wife. She will never give him her heart.
Piper Stone is a one click author for me. This book is another really good one from her. Sevastian is the youngest of three boys, and cold and hard as a Bratva hero should be. Giada is sheltered, as well as mouthy, feisty, and beautiful. Together their chemistry nearly set my kindle on fire. Their HEA was perfect, and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

This is book 2 of Sinners and Saints. Piper Stone has written another winner. This is a fast paced story about Giada and Sevastian whose fathers are rival mafia families and make a pact when Giada is 13 and Sevastian is 18 to unite the families. As with all mafia stories there are betrayals, vendettas, lies, double crosses, moles, violence, action, drama, vengeance, exciting, steamy, and romance. At first Sevastian treats Giada as someone to abuse and use but things turn and these two have combustible chemistry that turns into passion and love. Another great story. Looking forward to the next book by Piper Stone.

This book grabs you in chapter one and never lets go. This is definitely one of the best that I have read in the Mafia Romance genre. The Russian and Italian Mafia are to be united by Sevastian and Giada. Their fathers signed a blood contract when Giada was just thirteen, but neither she nor Sevastian knew this until she was 21. Sevastian was amoral, short tempered, and had no use for love. On their first date they are ambushed by hired gunmen and the restaurant where they were was firebombed. So much deceit, lies, attempted assassinations, and treachery surround them. Great storyline, well developed characters, and wonderful world building. Great read!.

Beautiful Sinner is book two in the Sinners and Saints series. This was my first book review for this author. This book can be read as a stand alone, a HEA and no cliff hanger.

This book is about Sevastian Koslov who is the youngest son of a Russian Pakhan and Giada Vincheti who is the youngest daughter of the Italian Mafia. The two families hate each other and unbeknownst to Sebastian and Giada they are betrothed to each other when they were younger.

Revenge is the main part of this story and Insta-Lust.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot however Giada kept going back and forth between thinking Sebastian is a pig and she hates him to lust. There may be some triggers - spankings and some rough sex.

This is the 2nd book in the ‘Sinners and Saints’ series by Piper Stone. It’s a dark mafia romance that can read it as a standalone. This is Giada and Sevastian's story. It begins when they first meet at her 13th birthday party. Their fathers are the heads of rival mafias in New York. They again meet at a party years later, just before she turns 21, he saves her from an attempted rape. Neither recognises the other from her 13th birthday party. This meeting is has their chemistry just off the rickter scale. This is where their story begins to unfold, and what both learn about their respective fathers! Read and enjoy.

This is book 2 of Sinners and Saints, and the characters Sevastian and Giada were hot, spicy, Giada was having her thirteenth birthday and the was the first time that her and Sevastian she was not understanding the deals the parents had done. “I’m the kind of man who takes what he wants, and I would sully you in doing so.”

Sevastian is a cold, cruel man, something I didn’t expect after the first two chapters where he seemed more sensitive. His actions were unpredictable and sometimes made no sense. Giada seemed to change depending on who she was with but she’s strong and confident.

This book was dark. Sevastian and Giada both come from a violent world and neither was going to give into love easily. Their instant attraction was obvious and there chemistry was explosive. I thoroughly enjoyed watching love kick their proverbial read end.

She is beautiful and he is a definite sinner

Beautiful Sinner is the second book in the Sinners and Saints series and there are a lot of saintly sinners in this book. This is a fast and steamy hot story about Giada and Sevastian, Mafia family enemies who first meet when she had turned thirteen and he was eighteen. It is now five years later and their paths cross again when he saves her from being attacked. Add in an arranged marriage, a lot of violence, danger and drama...along with a lot of sizzling rough punishing passion.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Beautiful Sinner by Piper Stone is book Two in the Sinners and Saints Series. This is the story of Giada and Sevastian. I have read the previous book which did add to my enjoyment of this one. Giada and Sevastian first meet at her 13th birthday party. Sevastian was 18 and they both where children of different mafia families. But the party ended when an attack was made. Now in their present day, Giada is turning 21 when she is saved by Sevastian when she was being attacked. Their father's had promised them in marriage to build to rival mafia families and this starts their hot story.

Giada and Sevastian! Really good Russian mafia romance. Little did Giada know but she had been given to Sevastian for marriage when she was 13 years old. The wedding was to take place on on her 21st birthday. Neither was happy with the contract but it couldn't be reversed. All sorts of mayhem breaks out, but the intended target is uncertain. As will happen between two passionate people, their animosity slowly turns into something softer and more loving. Lots of good sex scenes, some rather rough. Loved the characters, both very strong-willed and determined. Great series by a great author!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! Beautiful Sinner is completely intense, utterly seductive and totally HOT, HOT, HOT! Sevastian Koslov is the son of the Pakhan, Leader of New York Bratva and Giada Vinchet is the idaughter of Cezare Vincheti, Head of the Italian Mafia in New York. These two are thrown together to unite the families and HOLY H*L^ what an adventure their pairing brings. This is a fantastically delicious age gap story and believe me there's never a dull moment. Giada is fiesty and fierce and though he may not want to admit it, Sevastian LOVES it.
