The ball of love is no longer in Wynter’s court. She left Cancún in love with a man that stirred everything in her. Thyme is exactly who she needs and wants, but she’s just too scared to reach out and tell him how she really feels. However, Thyme doesn’t play childish games. Thyme loves Wynter with everything in him. He isn’t the type to let what’s his be claimed or taken care of by someone else. He has no problem laying the law down and letting everyone see how hard he goes behind it. Wynter committed a foul act, and Thyme’s temper isn’t controllable. They have to figure out how to love without causing harm to one another. Emotional damage hurts just as much as physical.
Okay, this 66 page novella was a slight improvement over the first one. Mainly because there was more story than over the top sex scenes.
However, this time Thyme came off as rude, arrogant and disrespectful. Is it because he thought Wynter was still married to Jeremy and thinking about forgiving the adultery? Why didn't he just ask Wynter instead of acting like an immature gangster?
I love when a man is a man about his responsibilities. Thyme did not disappoint me! He made sure that Wynter was taken care of and he let it be known that he was here for the long haul… I cried at the end… i just love a good plus size rep! Well done!
What happened to Mariah? Did Wynter find out how long that had been going on, or get a why from Jeremy? It felt like it was skipped over to me. She came back home, and filed for divorce without getting any answers. Thyme was the damn man, you hear me? When he found out what was happening, he went to get his woman! Wynter knew she was wrong as hell to withhold that type of information from that man! I was concerned that there would be too much bad blood between the two, but the love they shared was strong! What happened to Jeremy after he dropped off Summer? Did he just abandon her? I enjoyed this read, but I wish there was more information to help the flow. 👍👍
Author Connie Easton gave us part of what we asked for in book one, I still felt like Mariah got off too easy. Bay-be Thyme played no games when it came to what he deemed his. That man right there exuded BDE and has become my new book bae ❤️. It hurt him to his core when he learned Wynter his such a life altering decision from him. Despite his anger he couldn’t deny the love he had for her. He was coming strong behind Winter, their son Future, and Summer. Jeremy used Summer to keep Wynter close, and because she tried to keep the peace she didn’t fight him in certain things. Talk about phuck around and find out, cause Jeremy thought he was big abcs bad until he came in contact with Thyme who let him know he was with the ish. He deserved that beat down 😂 😂 😂. The way Summer clung to her mother when he tried to take her with him, spoke volumes to the bs he was probably saying on their way to LA. He was big mad Thyme upgraded Wynter life in more ways than one.
Thyme probably isn’t for everyone so if you thought he was rough in part one you might not be able to handle him in part two. I didn’t like how either of them hid their hurt behind harsh words but I get it. This was a quick and easy read, with a little bit of corny to smooth some of the rough edges. I smiled through most of this read like big goofy smile. This is almost an enemies to lovers vibe and I ate these short due right on up!
Girl you did that with this book. I loved everything about it. I was so that Thyme and Wynter got it right. I loved everything about them being together and becoming one. I was so happy that Autumn called him and let him know about his son though.
A man named Thyme is already a good thing. And to have a chilly month be your crush was too sweet for the leading lady in this story. Wynter and Thyme were 'The Couple,' and I want to be them when I grow up. Yes, I enjoyed this short read.
I don’t review that often but I was honestly moved to review this one. Tyme is….terrible. I think alpha males can absolutely be sexy and well written. He was not. He was rude and annoying. The scene in the doctor’s office was not cute. First he yells at a nurse about not being able to treat his child and only wanting the doctor. This felt like writing without context because in my experience as a patient and parent it’s typical for nurses to come in to collect vital info before the dr comes in. Then he gets worse. They’re there to check on the mother and baby’s health and the first thing out of your mouth is “How soon can I get between her walls again?” This was just too much. That was the point when I decided I’d have to write the review. But there were A LOT of other moments when I considered it. I don’t mind an aggressive MC but he was just rude and didn’t do anything that made up for that.
I was so into Thyme and Wynter I was ecstatic to find this read. I wanted to experience how the story would end. Thank you Ms. Easton for this. Thyme did not come to play, Wynter was his and his only. I loved how he manned up once he got to Ohio. He was determined to bring his child and Wynter back to California. He wasn't leaving anyone behind. His love for Wynter ran deep and he used anger to try to mask it. His alpha male traits kicked in. He didn't care what kind of ties Wynter had in Ohio he was staking his claim and holding onto it. His fatherly instincts kicked in immediately he knew he had to provide for and protect his instant family. Jeremy made had been the lame but Thyme was the king so Wynter hit the jackpot. Thyme came into her life to display how a real man treats his lady. At all of his expenses, he made sure his family was taken care of including Summer.
This was a fantastic part two to Thyme and Wynter. You will love the outcome of their story. If you haven't read Wynter Break: A BBW Novella start there. And then read this novella.
I absolutely loved this story! Thyme took charge the moment he stepped in the hospital. Yeah she should have reached out to tell him about being pregnant, but I understand some of her reasoning behind her decision. I'm glad he stalked her page though because it might've been worse if he missed the birth of his son. The love they shared for each other just radiated from each page. When he told her they were moving to LA and that she basically didn't have a choice, I was cheesing like he told me!!😂😂 I just love a man that can take charge but not be respectful while doing it. Now Jeremy deserved every hit he got from Thyme. How you upset with me when you messed up?! He was so disrespectful to Wynter and I'm glad Thyme was right there to handle the situation. Connie Easton does not disappoint. I love/enjoy stepping into her world and can't wait to see what's next.
This was my first experience with this author. I liked the overall plot and although Thyme was All about having what was his by any means necessary he came off extremely harsh at times. Like at he Doctor’s office and how he treated the nurse to mention on insignificant occurrence, and then the way he carried on with Wynter, but based on the secret Wynter had kept from him IUnderstood to some degree.
I couldn’t help but feel I was missing something about who he really was perhaps that was discussed in a previous book as well as the history between Wynter and her ex husband.
Okay I am a little disappointed, because we don't get to experience this relationship. The writer gives us little snapshots and that's only the good things. I was looking forward to Wynter at least confronting the best friend. Getting a look at how there lives really messed together. Getting Autumn to move to.L.A and how. Also.a.glimpse in to Jeremy's life with best friend. We are not getting the full effect. This was a good story but I wanted more from two characters that immediately capture your attention.
Thyme wasn't playing games with Wynter, especially when Autumn called him and told him about his son. Wynter wasn't going to call him because she was scared he was going to reject her. Jeremy was a fool into thinking Wynter was going to come back to him when had sex with her best friend. Then Jeremy had the audacity to talk to her crazy after begging for her forgiveness. Wynter found her forever.
This novella picks up almost a year after Wynter Break, with a little surprise. Thyme is not playing with Wynter, and there are life-changing decisions that are made.
I enjoyed this story by @authorconnieeaston, but felt like some of the circumstances were a little farfetched. The ending is one that I saw coming, but Thyme (the alpha male) moved a littler too quick for me. It was the little things like, up and moving a newborn within weeks of birth.
This was a good, quick read! From the start, it was obvious the trifling best friend was sleeping with her husband, and I was 100% with Autumn when she told her sister to go for the fling in Mexico. After the betrayal her husband pulled, there’s no going back! But that fling? Oh, it’s about to turn into a lifelong decision in book 2, and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds!
Beautiful love story! Wynter and Thyme became a great couple! Wynter was broken and Thyme became bitter assuming that she was going to be in her relationship once she left Cancun! Thankfully Autumn didn't play about her sister, but would let her know when she was wrong! Loved the ending!
I love this read and was definitely happy to see Wynter and Thyme get their forever love. The nerve of Jeremy coming in trying to hit below the belt because Wynter no longer wanted him dude you messed up and have the nerve to get mad because she moved on to something better I was glad Thyme put them hands on him he deserved it.
This story had a problem with timelines, If the author just identified how much has passed before moving to the next paragraph it would had of helped with flow. Winter made her move with no indication that there even a move needed to be made. What happened to Mariah? Storyline had the wrong flow but loved the characters.
I didn't like how inconsiderate and immature Wynter was when they found each other again. That's the only thing that made me take off a star. Situation could've been written better. I will say that it was a nice little short story but also didn't need to be split in 2 separate books. Anywho, happy reading! Books
This man right here is the truth! Love him for Wynter! Absolutely beautiful story! The chemistry between these two is amazing. Jeremy got that beat down which comes with that behaviour! Love all the characters ' names! Love the author's writing style and definitely will be checking her other pieces.
Why didn't we hear about autumn beating Mariah azz or wyn slapping the slob out her mouth or the bull crap explanation Jeremy gave as to why he made the one mistake 🤔 I understand what the put together from the events and what they thought was the reason but I wanted to hear from the horses mouth what was the reason
I was so touched by their love all that the other bs didn't even matter. I truly loved their love story, and it is my hope that every woman, including myself get an experience and love of a lifetime of this magnitude.
You did well Connie. This is the first of your books I've read and look forward to reading more.
I can only hope and pray that the author continues
I loved these characters, they were so realistic and relatable and made us, the reader crave more of these characters. I really hope and look forward to reading more about Thyme and Wynter and their little family including Wynter's sister Autumn 💙
This was such a cute, short read!!!…Autumn was such amazing sister to Wynter and I was so glad she made that call to Thyme!!!.. Jeremy got exactly what he wanted and then had the nerve to get in his feelings because Wynter did not come back like he thought she would!!!…
A cute ending to a well written story. The drama, secrets, and love between these likeable characters was quick with a couple of hiccups. Keeping the baby a secret was crazy. But her sister solved that problem and put their family on the right path.
Omgees!!! I loved everything about this book. That’s what Jeremy get for the grass was greener on the other side. The message from this short series was everything.
This was a good Novella I’m glad Jeremy got what he deserved he didn’t deserve a good woman like Wynter I’m glad she found out him and Meagan and moved on with Thyme this is a must you read
