If you’re a Dramione girlie who also grew up with a weird history fixation - this is 100% for you. It’s a 60-40 split between plot and fluff and never too much of one or the other. The storyline is great, it’s clever, well thought out, it’s tense enough you can’t stop reading and is paced really well. The enemies portion is amusing bickering and the fluff has just the right balance between romantic and truly meaningful. A great read if you want a little adventure with your romance.

The plot of the story is really interesting and enticing. It encourages to read more and more to know what will happen next. It's really amazing that its baseline was created on a true story.
My yearly dream of being an archeologist and discovering ancient civilazions sprang to life again, and I lived vicariously through the characters and their adventures.
I guess, it was difficult with the given clues to understand what was behind the events of the plot. And I would like the story more if there were a bit more suspense. The climax was a bit anticlimatic.
But overall, it was a great read: characters were true to themselves, the pace of the story was lagom, not too fast and not too slow.

Dramione with a side of mystery and done very well!

Younger version of these characters than I'm used to reading lately, but written old enough for the story to make sense and not feel icky. I always appreciate when Harry/Ron/Hermione aren't put in these unrealistic positions of power right after Hogwarts. Yes they are war heroes, but that doesn't make them qualified to run the country.

Enemies to lovers was done well, with enough 'enemies' to make it fit the sub-genre.

absolutely great enemies to lovers and slow burn but the finding of the cure was a bitunderwhelming. I mean almost dying isn't very fun but there was such a build-up without an appropriate end.
loved the history parts of the story though.
