Book #5 in the series. Grace really has her hands full in this one. Back-handed relatives are showing up everywhere! And 1 of them is accused of murder, and Grace ends up his lawyer. Mac and her are having a lover’s quarrel of sorts. Her nemesis Ashley is right in the mix of things. Mac got a puppy called Rocket, what fun. And Fiona is going to get a special Christmas present.

Really good one!
This series is a good one but I feel this book was the best one since the first. Love all of the twists and turns. Plus the characters have become family to me.

Enjoyable Series--book hard to put down
The story of Grace Reagan and Mac McNamara continues with this story. Grace"s ex husband David has an 18 year old son named Peter, who has gotten himself in trouble. He comes to Grace for legal help. And, David has gotten married. But there are more issues in Mallard Bay. Another book that is hard to put down. Enjoyed it

Entertaining! I actually would prefer to give 4.5 stars, but it’s not an option.
I really enjoyed this book, as well as the previous books in this series.
I want to give it a 4.5, but I don’t have the option. I did happily purchase the last 4 books in the series, and I am eager to start book 5.

it’s hooked I am
The whole series is a delight and it helps that I live near by and can relate to the whole Eastern Shore vibe and been called a ‘Come Here’ myself. Start at book 1 and catch up! You’re welcome.

I felt the story had too many characters, some of whom could,have been eliminated and the storyline tightened.
Also, some of the writing was confusing due to sentence structure. Ambiguous pronouns mostly.
But a good story and enjoyable reading.

I couldn’t figure this one out. I had it down to 2 people. This is a good story. I am wonder if this author is Fiona Grace who has written many books or is this a coincidence.

a lot of typos!
This was a confusing read. Too many people were introduced without any context and it made it difficult to figure out the plot. This book needs revisions and some editorial checks. Frustrating read!

Cheril Thomas is a master storyteller. I can never guess which way the plot is going to twist and turn.

Aptly Titled, the hits just keep coming
I am hooked on this series! The characters continue to grow and flourish despite of all the difficulties thrown in their path. This one introduces new characters that will forever impact Grace and Mac’s lives, in a good way. On to the next in the series…
