I loved, loved, loved this book! Liberated was such a sexy azz book! Quinn was the quintessential strong black woman. She not only brought something to the table but, she built the damn table and her sexist azz fiancée couldn’t handle it. Gavin and her daddy wanted so bad for Quinn to be an exact replica of her mama which, meant being seen and not heard. But, she decided to give a hard pass to the housewife life and promptly called off her engagement the night before her wedding. While on her honeymoon, Quinn meets Elijah. He’s in Tahiti for his sister’s destination wedding and looking to get into some trouble and she’s more than willing to accommodate him. From the moment they saw each other, the chemistry was hot and the attraction was instant between them. Elijah was absolutely perfect for Quinn. Submissive is the last thing he expects her to be. Elijah, in all his alpha male glory, wants his woman walking beside him loud, proud, and outspoken. I appreciate how the author shined a light on the misogyny of men (especially black men) and how some of them are truly threatened by black women asserting their independence. Liberated was an awesome read. The author packed a lot in this novella but, it'll still leave you wanting more. This can't be the last we hear from Quinn and Elijah. Considering we didn’t get any real closure regarding their relationship status, I’ma require an update on them. We have to revisit Cherry and Trenton too. I need to know if he’s going to resolve his baby mama issues and if Cherry finally finds out about his baby mama. Does Ruth get the threesome she's been beggin' her husband for?!!! And, what about Quinn's mama?!!! I need to hear from her too. Yeah, an update book is definitely needed.

I didn’t expect anything less from Kimberly Brown!!!! 🔥🔥🔥This was a really great story that did not lack in the drama and spice department. Despite being a short read it felt very complete while leaving the possibility open to dive further into these characters in the future. The chemistry between Elijah and Quinn oozed from the pages and I loved every moment!

Really Good and Nasty! First read by this author and I enjoyed every second of it. It was fast paced, really sexy with a sprinkle of drama. I do hope we get more of Elijah and Quinn and I would love Cherry and Trent’s story as well hint, hint lol.

Mrs. Brown, how are you going to do this to us? This was a straight tease I would love more. Quinnen and Elijah's chemistry was off the charts. You can tell from the first encounter it was going to be hot and steamy every chance they got. And they did exactly that. If they did not enjoy the island of Tahiti they surely enjoyed each other bodies. Quinnen deserved a real man in her life. She had two an ex-fiancee and father that were shells of the male species. They were so much alike that they should have been father and son. Quinnen had a voice and a backbone. She used her voice to let them both know where she stood and what she wasn't going to tolerate. I loved how independent she was. She didn't need a man for finances her portfolio was full. What she craved money couldn't buy. Elijah was the man to fulfill that craving for her. He allowed and help her to become "liberated."
This is another masterpiece by the one and only Mrs. Kimberly Brown. You will enjoy it but yearn for more at the same time. I would love to read more on these two. I would also love to dig deeper into Cherry and Trenton's situationship. I think it would be drama-filled but well worth the read. Grab your copy of this short. It gives you all the feels you may be looking for and some you weren't.

Light hearted, spicy, and engaging, I think Liberated: An Erotic Short is just what you're looking for in an erotica novella. The characters are lovable and diverse. Kimberly Brown doesn't skimp on character development, so you get a decent backstory and some fun secondary characters. I recommend this one to fans of Kimberly Brown and erotica. It is a quick and fun read that make you want more of Kimberly Brown's books.

This was exhilarating, addicting, fuelling, erotic and many more. I could not put this book down. Quinnen was my favourite character ever in a book. She knew what she deserved and wanted, her words backed up her actions. Elijah was everything you want in a man. Gavin and his missing tooth 😂… lol 😂. I would love to read more about Quinn and Elijah, as well Cherry and Trenton.

I loved this short book. I really wish we would have gotten more information about how their relationship turns out. I loved that Quinn took her life into her own hands when she knew that the relationship with her fiancé was going to end with her being miserable. Her taking charge of her life was just the read I needed.

Well, damn Kimberly! This was a fun and sexy read for sure! I loved Quinn right from the beginning! She was savage as hell, for dropping the news on Gavin like she did, and walked smooth on out the door! 🤣 She was a boss in every way, and deserves a real man who wants to walk beside her; not that ole submissive ish! He had Quinn f’d up if he thought she was going for that ish! Then she hopped a plane ready to get show her ass! 😂 Elijah! Just typing his name gives me the tingles, ok? This man is every bit of an alpha, and all that goes with that! 😍 When Elijah and Quinn laid eyes on each other, I knew the fun was about to begin! They were both bold, outspoken, honest and freaky as hell! Dem scenes ma’am! Whew! 🔥 They were such a good match, and they both wondered why they had to go half way around the world to find a person who was right in their backyard! I hated Gavin and Quinn's father, for the way they treated her, and expected her to “submit” to their demands! But she got them both told and didn’t care what they thought of it! I just love a nasty book, and this checked all my boxes. Kimberly Brown is a new-to-me author, and I will be adding her backlist to my TBR.
Quinn chooses herself and ends her engagement the day before her wedding. The man she was going to marry was a mirror image of her father, who expected her to be docile, seen and not heard. And Quinn is the total opposite of that. She is the embodiment of a strong black woman and anyone who doesn’t like it can kiss her ass, disrespectfully. What better way to celebrate a dodged bullet than to go on your honeymoon with your best friend?
Elijah is in Tahiti for his sister’s wedding when he sees Quinn and immediately he wants her. The two hit it off instantly and waste no time getting to know each other intimately.
