"The darkness only makes you shine brighter."

Everything changes.
In Kora Sinclair's case, very abruptly.
Everything she once knew has now been turned upside down.
But she is not going to let that stop her from getting her city back.
With the help of her three gods beside her, Sterling Falls is in her sights.
And nothing will get in her way.
Not even her past.

"If you want to be someone else, you can. But you can't get rid of the person you are."

S. Massery has proved time and time again why she is one of my favorite authors and one of my all-time auto-buy authors and this series is just another AMAZING example!
If you like Greek Mythology, Revenge, Why Choose and Mystery - Please pick up this series! You will not regret it!
And not to toot my own horn but I definitely will (lol) - this series made some of my most amazing playlists and you know how much music is important to me 💗💗

"I hate that we can share so much darkness. But at the same time? I wouldn't have it any other way."

Kora went through a fucking whirlwind in this book ngl.
I mean I knew Jace was gonna be a favorite by the end of this series but he is definitely ties with Wolfe because that man has my heart. But don't count Apollo out because that man…
I'm not gonna give away too much but know that this was action packed with both action and smut and I am all for it!
I cannot wait for Artemis' story!! I have an inkling who her love interest is… or maybe who they are…
But I can't wait to find out 💞💞

"We feed different parts of her soul."

The playlist to complete this series was so much fun to make and I also made a playlist for the full series in my profile if anyone is interested! It definitely gives the right ✨ vibes ✨ don't worry 💓💓

Okay, all the other books were good ya know i thought the author did a good job with spreading out the sexual stuff with the actual plot of the book. This last book was not it for me.. Kora grew so much in the 3rd book and in the last book it just felt everyone was so worried about the sexual stuff and not the actual plot? Kinda just felt like all the main characters Apollo, Wolfe and Jace would be talking about the plot of the book with Kora then the next sentence they are fucking? Like the book was 50 something chapters and it should of been like 10 chapters since there was no plot. At the end of the book I was just skimming the pages because it felt like I was reading the same thing over and over again.

Hard read!

This book has easily taken 5 days + to read. It just lacked so much story add in every other chapter being a bedroom scene and you just end up with a weird book that's so mashed up and doesn't flow. I skipped so much especially the bedroom encounters at a funeral for goodness sake. An absolutely awful end to the series. Such a shame for the characters.

3 STARS

While I loved this series, this felt like a novella that was stretched out with a lot of filler sex. Don't get me wrong, the sex was hot. But it wasn't enough to justify a full length book. It took me days to finish because it just dragged and that's such a bummer because I loved the first 3 books. Now don't get me wrong, the story was fun and I loved the series as a whole and highly recommend it. I just felt this probably could have been a trilogy rather than a quartet. There were still some revelations and twists here, sure. And I especially loved the development of Kora's relationship with Jace. But the story also began to get overshadowed by all the sex. I legit worried for Kora's vajay with the marathon level of action it was getting. Yes, I know it's fiction, but still. I also loved the MM development in the romance, but felt it sort of came out of left field. I would have loved to see more development on it in the previous two books. As it was, it felt sudden and not super satisfying.

Did I enjoy the series? Absolutely! Did I enjoy this book, sure. Did I love it as much as the first three books? Not quite. Would I still highly recommend this series for all my dark why choose loving friends out there? Without a doubt.

The writer should have stopped at the third book. All the plot is gone and all that was left were bad sex scenes instead of something actually good to read.

🎶
Nice to meet you, where you been?I could show you incredible things Magic, madness, heaven, sin
🎶

In the midst of this struggle, Kora (h) uncovers a startling truth about her identity. She learns that she is not destined to remain in the darkness but is, in fact, a powerful figure. With this revelation, Kora’s sense of purpose solidifies. She is no longer content to hide; she is determined to claim her rightful place and assert her power.

─── ・ 。゚☆: THOUGHTS*.☽ .*:☆゚. ───

“I am a fucking Sterling,” I tell him. “And you can join your daddy in Hell.”

I want to drive my knife into his eyes. A certain sort of madness washes over me, and my knife, my trusty knife, is in my hand in an instant.

Nyx. Her death hit hard, and it’s impossible not to feel a pang of sadness over what could have been with her and Saint. They had this deep, intense connection, and now seeing something potentially brewing between Artemis and Saint feels almost like a betrayal. Nyx was such a significant part of Saint’s life, and it’s tough to see that new dynamic unfold, especially considering how close Nyx and Saint were. It’s like the book's way of rubbing salt in the wound.

“Well, it’s not like we could predict that a crazy woman would burn down our house,” Apollo murmurs.

“But we wanted something more fitting for… us.”

“Us,” I repeat. “Like… you and me…”

“The four of us,” Apollo says, and then he winces. “Maybe three of us.”

Now, Apollo and Wolfe… talk about a plot twist. Kora mentioned seeing signs and glances between them, but honestly, I never picked up on any of that throughout the series. They were always portrayed as close friends, almost like brothers, and there was never any hint of romantic interest between them. So when the book suddenly throws in a romantic angle between Apollo and Wolfe, it felt a bit out of left field. I don’t have a problem with MM relationships in RH (reverse harem) books; I actually think they can add a great dimension when done right. But this felt like it was tacked on as an afterthought. The development was rushed and underwhelming, coming only in the last half of the book. Still, I have to give props where they’re due: the scenes between them worked well enough. Apollo’s more submissive nature contrasted with Wolfe’s dominance created an interesting balance. If this dynamic was meant to be a secret all along, they certainly did a good job of keeping it under wraps.

“You are Kora Sinclair,” Apollo says to me. “If you want to be someone else, you can. But you can’t get rid of the person you are.”

“Kora,” Wolfe says again. “Or would you rather us call you Persephone?”

“Persephone,” Apollo agrees. “Fitting.”

Jace and Kora’s storyline brings a bit of sweetness amidst the chaos. Their marriage is revealed, and Jace’s transformation into a more gentle, self-deprecating partner is pretty touching. He’s been blaming himself a lot for not being able to protect her, and you can really feel the weight of his guilt. Their backstory—knowing each other since childhood and Jace pushing her away to shield her from the town’s dangers—adds a lot of depth to their relationship. It’s clear that his feelings for Kora are genuine, and his attempts to protect her show how deeply he cares.

“Shh,” Jace says, climbing halfway up the ladder to get to my bed. He rests his forearms along the rail and watches me pull myself together.

He reaches some silent conclusion, because he pats my foot. “It’s okay, Kora. I’ll keep the nightmares away. You sleep while I keep watch.”

As for the ending… well, that’s where things get a bit tricky. The closure of the series felt a bit off. The fact that they all end up unofficially married to Kora might offer some sense of resolution, but it didn’t completely satisfy me. Wolfe’s journey from being controlled by the Hell Hounds to leading them, Jace earning Kora’s forgiveness, and Apollo just being there—it all felt like a lot of loose ends tied up quickly. What really threw me was how different the ending was from where the series started. It began with Kora struggling with debt, being pushed out of town, and navigating her relationships with Jace, Apollo, and Wolfe. By the end, the focus shifted to the Sterling family legacy and Kora’s unexpected role as a secret heir. It felt like a completely different story, and I’m not entirely sure if it worked or if it lost its way.

─── ・ 。゚☆: OVERALL*.☽ .*:☆゚. ───

The unexpected twists and evolving relationships provide a complex, if not entirely cohesive, end to Kora’s journey.

Oh my god this book was on another level! I’m speechless and I could not stop reading. I was cringing then laughing then swooning then wanting to throttle the boys then terrified for them. It was a rollercoaster of a book but it was perfect. Kora is still everything I want in a FMC. She started so weak and really grew into an amazing character who pulls no punches when her family is on the line. My heart broke for her In this story even though she battled and came through. She was betrayed and hurt on so many fronts in this story that the hits just kept coming. Thankfully we had some brighter and definitely spicier moments to bring some levity and tenderness to the story and to their relationships.

Oh Wolfe. He definitely redeemed himself from his more skittish demeanor in the previous book and kind of struck me with some teddy bear vibes but like in a crazy MC killer kind of way, ya know? Apollo was still so fun and lovable in this one. He wasn’t super affected directly by everything but he was still a light in a ton of darkness thrown there way and really turned out the be the glue that held it all together. I still adore and obsess over Jace though. There was literally nothing he could do to kick him out of my top spot. We got to see so much of his vulnerability finally! I love every moment they had. Even when they were down, Kora and Jace always gravitated to each other. They were always in each other orbits. I loved it. Some of his backstory shook me but other pieces felt so natural in their progression. I have no idea how Sara does it so perfectly.

I absolutely loved this book and thank you Sara for sending me an ARC copy! I’m devastated for the series to be coming to a close but there are definitely some hints as to what is next in the Sterling Falls world that I can’t wait to read in 2023!! This is hands down a must read series.

Okay I loved the whole series up until Apollo and Wolf became all of a sudden bi?! Like what?! No build up, just one touchy touchy of the P and all of a sudden their throwing each other up against walls??? Then Kora has seen this coming? Noooo this is why I don’t like a lot of MM in group settings. Unless it’s mentioned, hinted at or has some type of build I don’t want it just to have it or appease the masses.

I had no clue it was coming. With Kora and the guys each relationship had build up and connections being formed. Though the guys all had connections previously it just came out of no where that the guys had a thing for each other. It just makes it not believable and makes it forced. For me MM or FF in group settings has to be handled well for me to enjoy the relationships for it to just be added after 3 full books and towards the end of the 4th… 😒

I flew threw this series
I really enjoyed it

“I don’t know what we are, or what we’ll become. But I am getting a better sense of what we were as kids. Lifelines.”

So glad we finally found out Jace's story. I didn't expect his history with Kora though. That was great.
Their connection was everything. I makes sense why he was how he was

“Maybe you’re meant for all of us,” I say. “But I’m only meant for you.”

I also adored Apollo and Wolfes relationship. I also love a RH that has sword crossing.

“Love is what saved us.”

This was great

Can't wait to read the Sterling Falls Rogues Series

I enjoyed the first 3 books, but lost interest with this one, abandoning it at 41%. I thought I might resume reading, but it’s been months and I’ve not reached for it once so calling it as a DNF. For me, the series would have worked better as a trilogy.

WOW! That was one hell of a conclusion! There was no end to the intense twists and turns that this story takes the whole way through. I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails like crazy with anticipation of what was going to happen with Kora next, and then shocked when the story takes a turn I never expected. It was a crazy emotional rollercoaster ride that was filled with action, suspense, violence, twits and turns and some very steamy and utterly titillating moments. You might want to hang on tight to your panties while reading this one as it is sure to make them combust if you don’t!

Kora is a MF Queen!! She is stronger, fiercer, and ready to kick ass when necessary. There are many moments with Kora that just took my breath away. My head was spinning, and my heart was aching. There is just so much darkness that she had to endure before she gets any kind of happy ever after.

Wolfe, Jace and Apollo are finally figuring things out and working together in order to help Kora achieve happiness with them. But it was not all fun and games, and there is a lot of darkness all four of them have to go through before any kind of happy ending can happen.

I loved this story, and I am sad that it’s the end (for now). The whole series has been really well written with such amazing characters that make you fall hopelessly in love with, and with a storyline that is emotional, dark, twisted and so damn sexy that you won’t be able to put it down.

This was such a phenomenal series I truly loved every single book 🫶🏻

Queen was such a great ending. I loved finally getting answers to all of the scare tactics used on Kora and the guys and getting answers about Kora’s family. Such a great read.

One thing that I didn’t love, there were a few questions I still has regarding side characters, mainly WHY DOES S HATE A SO MUCH?! 😂 but the authors note mentioned that A is getting her own story soon so I’m hoping more will be answered then 🙏🏼

Overall 10/10 series, will definitely be recommending this to allllll my friends!

I meant to give this book a break and then come back. But I never did. The writing was very much all tell and no show. It tells you things happened, but the reader never gets the benefit of seeing any of these major events that shapes the stories and the characters.

It also rubbed me the wrong way how similar (so close to identical) the plots were on the books to the Madison Kate series that I just lost my momentum 🤷🏻‍♀️

I actually really loved this series. The series starts by talking about how Kora and her guys all have characteristics of Greeks Gods and Goddesses, and as the series moves on, you see more and more of it. Ares, Apollo, Hades, and Persephone. It was a great story to follow (with plenty of *hot* scenes), and I’m honestly sad that I’m done!

What the heck, why didn't anyone tell me about this series? How did I have to stumble upon it on Amazon? This was so dang good.

So, full series thoughts, here's how I'd rate all the books:
Book #1 - Thief - 3.5 Stars (which is generous unfortunately)
Book #2 - Fighter - 4 Stars
Book #3 - Rebel - 5 Stars
Book #4 - Queen - 5 Stars
The series definitely got better the further along it went, especially when we were more focused with the plot. AND especially after Kora .. grew into herself? I'm not sure how I want to say "she went from a really annoying, weak, and whiny FMC to a strong FMC".

I ended up liking all of our main characters, especially the further along we got. In the first book I kept getting Apollo and Wolfe's voices mixed up because they weren't very different at that point. So I frequently had to focus on whose POV we were in when it was either of them. Overall I just didn't love Book #1 and I almost DNF'd the series, but I'm SO GLAD I stuck it out and continued. I really ended up loving Kora, Apollo, Wolfe, and Jace so much by the time we get to the end.

I do have a bit of a gripe, but major spoiler ahead for Book #4 -

The other thing that could be considered a gripe is that this whole series was a bit of a slow burn as far as spice went, which was fine for me. Sometimes I need a little more plot with my spice and this series had that.. At first. Prior to this final book, I felt like all of the spicy scenes made sense in the story. However, this final book just had spicy scenes on top of spicy scenes to stretch things out and so the author could say that this was a spicy series. There was no flow here and I started to get a bit irritated. This is SO COMMON in these types of series though - the author will build up the RH fairly slowly for several books and then dump 4 books worth of spice into 1 book. It happens a lot, so I understand, but I still need to mention how irritating and lazy that I think it is.

I'm going to follow up those 2 complaints with things I loved - Kora's arc was fantastic, like I said she went from weak and whiny to a much stronger and thoughtful character. One that I actually liked. Wolfe's arc was also fantastic, dude had a lot to work through. Jace's secret and everything he did was intense, but I loved how the author made him suffer for a bit before redeeming him completely. I love a little suffering when it's called for from an MMC. Apollo was also good, but maybe didn't have as strong of an arc as the other characters. I'm ok with that though. Then the absolute and complete sadness that the author makes you feel for Saint. This was done so well and I didn't even read the "prequal" to this series, but still felt like I needed to cry. The plot advanced in such a believable way and that even things happening in Book #1 were for a purpose and connected back. Olympus and everything about how the author wove in Greek Gods and Greek mythology in such a unique way was so good and well done.

A few things that I didn't love - Ben. That character and that storyline was so weird and just didn't work for me. I would've changed several things about it to make it work better in this story. Her friend from the first few books who I can't remember the name of right now but it stars with an M.. She sucked. Horrible friend. And I'm so unsatisfied with the "conclusion" of that. A little, tiny bit also unsatisfied with the ending to our big bad too. Which I hate to say because I kinda loved it and kinda hated it. Mixed feelings for sure, but..

I really, really recommend this series. I blew through it (after I got through Book #1) and already want to buy it in a physical copy to have on my shelves.

My Thoughts: The final book in this series picks up after the last. We finally got all the answers we were hoping for. This series is filled with twists, betrayal, spice, why-choose, drama, and action. I enjoyed the ending and seeing Kora get her happy ending with her boys. This is a dark romance so I recommend checking the trigger warnings first.

This series has been everything and I’m so sad it’s over. It’s like we’ve got to watch Kora grow and evolve into the bada$$ she was always meant to be. Not to mention she keeps herself surrounded by three hot amazing men.

There’s been so much suspense through the back story since book one and there’s answers I’ve been waiting to pop up at any minute finally present themselves. There’s moments I found myself going ohhhhhhh and then others I’m face palming for not connecting some earlier dots.

The spice in this one — oooofffff! It does not disappoint at all, in fact it a whole new level and I was obsessed every second of the way.

If you haven’t read the Sterling Falls series, start with the novella Thrill first (you can find a link on S Massery’s website for a free download), it intros you into the world and the guys and two key side characters. Kora makes her entrance in Thief.

Epic ending

This was a fantastic ending to a phenomenal series. Each book got better and better.

Queen brings us all the closure we need. We get the answers to Kora’s past, Jace’s hidden plans, and who’s behind all of the Sterling murders. Plus we see the dynamic of our main characters shift a little and their love/relationship grow. Kora is such a badass in this book.

I absolutely love the way Sara weaves a story. The spice is immaculate, but the plot that she ran all through these books hooked me and kept me coming back.

I can’t wait to see what’s next for Sterling Falls and Artemis. 🤞🏻 For Saint and Malik…Saint needs a second chance after the last book 💔

Wow! Just wow!! I have been waiting for the final book in this series and to see how S. Massery would decide to play with my emotions this go around.

I don’t even think i had an idea of how this book could play out and let’s just say S. Massery ABSOLUTELY SLAYED THIS WHOLE SERIES!!!!

Kora is soo freaking strong, and beautiful and so unbelievably stubborn that it’s admirable. She has truly grown into the QUEEN she was always meant to be. She didn’t get there by herself. She really did have her struggles but she had each one of her guys help her in some way or another. And i loved that each one of her guys brought something different to her world and made her see a different perspective and bring her to life. She has become the grounding presence for each one of her guys and not only do they worship her but they respect her enough to let her find her way in the world but make sure she knows she doesn’t have to do it alone.

Jace, Wolfe and Apollo are demanding, ruthless, protective and are dangerously delicious 🔥🔥 they will make you want to swoon over them but then at the same time make you want to strangle them lol. I could go on and on about each of them for days but if you reading the final book in this series than you already know what I’m talking about!!

S. Massery has truly brought to us an epic world and there are so many twists and turns in this series that you won’t be able to put the book down until you are done devouring each and every word.

My head was always spinning because i didn’t know what the next chapter would bring. But i wasn’t disappointed at all! The way S. Massery does the character developments in this series is epic. Each character has to deal with their own demons at times by themselves but she always brings in the others to help them in some way. And i think it’s refreshing that she doesn’t make her characters have to suffer alone but really brings in the relationships that these characters have developed with each other.

I enjoy that S.Massery’s books aren’t all about her characters exploring their sexual desires with each other but there are legitimate plots and problems that are intriguing, captivating and anxiety inducing. She has made these characters fit like an intricate puzzle that was always missing a piece until the four of them became United.

You will not want to put this book down! This whole series is worth a night of no sleep and binge worthy reading!! You will not be disappointed! If you haven’t read the first three books, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK until you do!!!
This is not a stand-alone and you need to have the background story!! Trust me you will enjoy this series!!!!

The STERLING FALLS series was one I did not expect to fall so head over heels in love with. I love Massery, her characters, imagery, and storytelling is phenomenal but there is also a hesitancy I have when taking on a reverse harem. This is a me problem, I fall in love with one character and no one compares, therefore, it’s difficult for me to finish a RH and be satisfied. HOWEVER, that was not the case here with QUEEN, the final book in the series.

Kora finally took her place as Wolfe, Jace, and Apollo’s queen, not just literally but metaphorically. She could not be held in higher regard in their eyes. This character has proven over the course of these four books that she is resilient, she is brave, she is beautiful, kind, and is fair. She is balanced where many of the characters, minus Apollo, aren’t. She grounds these men and seeing their relationship blossom is entertaining and something magical. I think each character holds a different piece of Kora’s heart and soul, best explained by Jace when he said, “maybe you’re meant for all of us but I’m only meant for you.” Do I think there is one man better than the others, yes, but do I think one is PERFECT FOR KORA above the others? That I’m not so sure. Massery wrote these characters in a way where they fit like a puzzle, hell even before Kora came into the picture these men were a puzzle with a missing piece.

Now I knew where their relationship was headed, I felt it in my bones, and when it transpired on the page, I was not shocked. I think it was Massery’s way of giving the characters each a bit of peace and happiness together. Also, I need to take a moment to THANK SARA for not including a pregnancy at the end of this book. I don’t mind mention of wanting to have kids in the future but every RH I’ve read lately ends with the FMC pregnant and what a ruin that is for me, so THANK YOU.

The situations happening in the plot, because there IS a plot in Massery’s books (theyre not just all in bed 24/7), is intriguing and anxiety inducing. While I don’t think it was out of left field, I did think there were a lot of twists and turns throughout the 4 books and especially here in QUEEN that kept readers engaged every page. I actually swear, hand to God, that I skimmed some of the smutty scenes to get back to the mystery of who Kora really is and how she is tied into the Sterling Falls history. I am excited for more from these characters, I know that Massery will do them justice and give them the endings they all deserve.

Overall, this series was REALLY difficult to put down, and even when I was having anxiety attacks for the characters and unsure where their stories would go, I pushed through. The characters each provide readers such a different perspective and I think each is invaluable to the story. I loved this series, I still love Wolfe the best, and I am sad to see it end.

Good Ending

Spoilers******************

I gave this one four stars because there were a few things that irked me, but all in all still a great read. We are introduced at the beginning to Deicide, which got some reason I knew exactly who he was from the get go. You are also shown there is a partner, which had I not thought that Parker died in the previous book, I might have suspected him as well, but alas I thought he was dead. I didn’t like how Ben’s character turned out. It was like he was a filler and something had to be done with him and what was chosen just seemed to easy and pointless. Also it mentions that she hadn’t told Jace about Ben, and she never goes, but at the end Jace already knows. Wolfe kills Cerberus and loses himself for a bit thinking Kira won’t love him anymore, but when she tells him about Ben they commiserate over the shared deaths. She learns that Jeremy the guy who took her to her parents, is actually her uncle and that Nadine and Sheriff Bradshaw are his children and therefore her cousins along with Alex. Someone still leaves snakes in her house and someone is blowing up their bikes. It later comes out that Nadine is the one who bled up the bikes and who sent the pictures because she wanted Kora to leave and be safe. She also explained that she stole her away when she was five and took her to the orphanage against her parent’s knowledge and that they died two days later. Jeremy confirmed he knew where she was all this time. It also comes out that Jace was in the orphanage with her and that he’s known it was her all this time too, he’s been giving her clues hoping she would remember him. Jeremy is killed and Kora and Jace are kidnapped by a very alive Parker and he drugs Jace with snake paralytic venom and reveals that he’s the one who had been leaving snakes in her home and later is revealed to be the one beheading the hell hounds who got close to Kora. He drugs her with angel dust and beats her and is going to rape her until someone else stops him and shoots him in the head. We soon realize it’s Alex and that he is deicide and that he killed all of the Sterlings in attempt to be the last remaining Sterling, even though he’s actually a Russo. He agrees not to kill Kora if she backs him as the mayor, but they fight and she stabs him with the remaining snake venom. The guys end up “taking care” of Alex, but soon realize Kora has internal bleeding and take her to the hospital for emergency surgery. She recovers, and gets married to all the guys and they have their HEA. I don’t like how things were left with Tem and Saint and I really don’t like that Nyx died. Unless there is a spin off series, I don’t like this scenario at all.

I’m honestly not sure where to begin with this book. It feels less like a fourth installment and more like an extended, smut-filled epilogue. While I appreciate that all the loose ends are tied up—because I absolutely hate unresolved threads—the way everything came together left me conflicted.

On a positive note, the dynamic among the main characters finally feels more cohesive. The men in the shared relationship seem more united, which was a satisfying development. However, the sudden introduction of other intimate connections toward the end felt poorly timed. I’m not opposed to a story exploring that kind of dynamic, but here, it felt either rushed or forced, which undercut its impact.

The reveal of the “bad guys” and their actions was predictable and, frankly, a bit of a letdown. I was hoping for a twist or some level of intrigue, but it ended up being underwhelming. And while I understand that this book leaned heavily into the steamier scenes, I wish the author had spread them out more evenly over the last two books. Packing so much of it into this final installment made it feel repetitive and overwhelming, detracting from the narrative’s emotional depth.

My biggest frustration, though, was with the heroine’s harem. For all their supposed power, they were consistently outsmarted, ambushed, or severely injured—often all three. By the end, their constant vulnerability became tiresome. I wanted more from them—more strength, more strategy, and more chemistry with the heroine. Instead, they seemed stuck in a cycle of being defeated, which wore on me after a while.

In the end, it was a conclusion, though not entirely a satisfying one. I’m eager to dive into the next book and hope for a more balanced blend of character development, chemistry, and plot twists. Fingers crossed for a more compelling group of love interests—ones who can hold their own and feel worthy of the heroine’s affection.

I don’t even know where to begin, lets start by saying this series is freaking amazing from beginning to end. Dang this ending was everything I wanted and didn’t know I needed. It’s dark, spicy, and pure perfection. I could not put it down and read this in one sitting and let me tell you its long but once you start reading it will be finished before you know it and you will have wished you read slower.

Kora is what I want all of my FMCs to be like this woman right here is a true warrior. My heart broke for her so many times but she went from a woman who weak to a MFKN Queen. This woman right here is loyal to a fault and when it comes to those she deems family she will ball out. Kora has been lied to, betrayed, been broken over and over and yet she has always managed to come back stronger.

Our guys!! Oh man swoon. My man Wolfe all I have to say is it’s about dang time he showed up and showed out and I was happy to see it. Apollo was Apollo I have loved everything about him from the beginning he’s the caring the loving one he shine bright throughout each book. For me he was the peace keeper of sorts. Last but certainly not least we have our man Jace he has been a mystery for pretty much the entire series we got little bits and pieces of him opening up throughout but I would have to say in this book he gives us his all and I am here for it. You always knew Kora meant something to him but in Queen he shows all his cards and the connection and bond that Jace and Kora have that runs soul deep. She has a bond with each of the guys but for me there is just a little something extra with Jace. These three men could not make it without Kora in their lives she makes them better and in the same right they do that for her. They helped her become this amazingly strong woman.

Ma’am I don’t know how you do it but this series will live rent free in my head forever. I can’t believe its over and I am so sad to see these characters go but I am truly excited to see what you bring us next. So freaking amazing!!

Queen the final book from S. Massery Sterling Falls series has us jumping right back in from the cliffhanger we were left on in Rebel.

The narrative may have continued to lead us through the ongoing maze that began in Thief, however this time the answers were delivered tying up all the lose ends that began from the very beginning of Kora Sinclair, Wolfe 'Ares' James, Jace 'Hades' King and Apollo's story.

Bringing more tension from not only the drama as well the action packed thrills we had come to enjoy when it came to following them on the adventures they are riding upon. But also suspenseful-ness given the anticipation of waiting for all the answers to be revealed and laid out before our very eyes.
Ultimately completing the jigsaw puzzle that was Kora, Wolfe, Jace and Apollo's story.
The finale has us riding another whirlwind rollercoaster ride.

While the series so far had been an enjoyable read, unfortunately when it came to Queen it left me a little disappointed making it my least favourite book from the series.
One of the issues with a subplot had lost me in terms of not being a fan.
However that was due to the way it was brought into the storyline, it just seemed so out of place since it did not seem natural or organic.
The fact that there was no build up or indication towards it throughout the series made it feel random and out of place altogether. As if it was thrown in at the last minute, given there was nothing brewing under the surface to lead to it IMO.
It’s why it had me unable to accept it or get past it, having not clicked for me.
IMO it seemed more like a fetish if anything at the most.

My other issue was the steaminess of which there was many moments throughout. And while it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.
The fact that it took over the narrative at times caused the overall storyline to get lost because of it IMO. Considering the focus seemed to rely heavily on it.
It made for quite a bit of repetition too, given the same thing happening over again one too many times for my liking.

All in all, Queen was still a good read, despite my issues.
S. Massery did a good job with Sterling Falls series overall, and has me looking forward to what she will write next.

So sad this is over, I absolutely loved Kora, Jace, Apollo and Wolfe's story. This RH suspense series has been a delight to read, very entertaining and certainly steamy. The story line was so good, the characters were fantastic, very well developed and simply lovable. Kora is a character you will find interesting and her evolution so perfect, from being weak to overcoming everything and standing up for herself. Such an emotional rollercoaster ride that will have you reading non-stop. On the top must-read of 2022 list. Perfect ending and just simply one of the best RH I read this year. Bravo 5-stars!
