When lovers and families are separated due to an evil curse, Paris must spring into action.
The cause of this global tragedy is unbelievable.
It sounds more like a tale from the Wizard of Oz than something real.
Ironically, the person to blame is a wicked witch.
The wicked witch.
However, Paris doesn’t want to stop her.
She wants to help the Wicked Witch of the West to find romance.
Can Paris Beaufont save a scorned woman before she destroys love?
Or will heartbreak be the end of the planet for good?

I love this series and just when you think it couldn’t get any better, BAM! Oh yes it does! In this exciting story we continue with Paris’s mission to save love and this time it’s the wicked witch who is trying to stop it. In true Paris fashion she doesn’t try to stop the wicked witch, nope she wants to help her find love herself. Fast paced and action packed I just loved how the authors were able to incorporate the wizard of oz of a fashion into this incredible series and with its surprises and twists and amazing characters I just couldn’t put this down.
These books just keep getting better and better. All you need is your person beside you to be home, and if you're lucky, a squirrel or a dragon or a cat.
Paris never seems to get a break and yet manages to come through and save the day. It's due to her great family and friends who are always there for her. I really enjoy the stories in each book and how she solves each problem and comes out on top. I am looking forward to the next story and seeing how she defeats the nemesis.
This was the best. Not that the first four weren't the best also,it's just one of my favorite stories slash movies came to life in a believable lot real way. Yes I know it's just a story but not just a story. You guys are good. They need to make these books into tv series. They're just that good. Enjoy the trip down the Yellow Brick Road.
Paris is sleepwalking and waking up in the cornfields at her farm. Turns out this oddity will help her on her next case. Tomar has released 4 ghosts from the Wizard of Oz who have ground all transportation to a halt, causing mass panic and confusion, and stopping loved ones returning to each other. As a result, the love meter has dropped to an all time low.
It's up to Paris to figure things out and reunite Dorothy Gale with the love of her life.
Meanwhile, Liv and Stefan are trying to find Renswick before Tomar does so they can put an end to Tomar before he destroys the world.
Another great installment in the Paris Beaufont story.
What a fun re-telling of the Wizard of Oz. It's the story we know but with many twists. Whilst Liv and Stephan are off trying to stop Tomar the demon, Paris is left to mop up the destruction he has caused, including the big decrease in the love meter. Bring in a different version of the Wizard of Oz. In typical Paris style, she has friends by her side, for the most part. The characters are ones we know and love from previous stories and their banter and relationships is fun. Great read.
Poor Paris is so rushed off her feet in this story, that she's taken to sleepwalking!
Between her job as an Agent with the FGA, where she's now responsible for three departments, and her work for Father Time, & Mother Earth, she barely has the time to eat, to stock up on much-needed energy, let alone sleep properly!
And then she's given the job of tracking down Dorothy Gales, and the Wizard of Oz, in order to reunite them, thus helping to bring the Love Meter back to some kind of heights, as the ancient Demon, Tomar, had managed to stop all Human transportation in the world, and brought the Love Meter to an all-time low.
As usual, Paris turns to her family and friends, to both give her encouragement, as she fights exhaustion, and plans what she needs to do to get the job done, and also to help her with parts of those plans.
I think this aspect of Paris is the one I love best. No matter how high in the FGA she goes, she has the humility to know that she could only have got where she was, with the help of her family and friends.
She stays humble enough that she never hesitates to ask for help, when she needs it, and is always generous in her praise of others.
Despite the powers that she was born with, and which she has developed so much more, bover time, at heart, Paris is very much a family girl, and will always turn to the people she loves first.
Every time I start a new book in this series, I'm surprised at how much more Paris is growing, and developing, as the wonderfully strong person she is.
It's wonderful to read, each time, as she learns something new about herself, and how she's able to incorporate that knowledge when she needs it.
The ending to this book surprised me, I must admit, and so I'm going straight on to book six: The Careful Revolutionary, in order to find out just how she's going to tackle her next, very dangerous, task!
So I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I find!
Tamer is back and this time is using the Oz witches to stop transportation between lovers around the world. Paris has been put in charge of stopping him. But she also has to manage 2 more romance departments and dozens more employees while finding Subfar, a master of finance to get his help funding her departments.
I love the Wizard of Oz theme throughout the story.
Fave scenes: 26th floor exploration, Paris organizing her new employees, surviving the tornado and finding the three parts of Oz.
If only there were more Beaufonts in the world talk about warm fuzzy kick ass women who instilled loyalty and faith in all they meet. Makes you wanna go out and help save the world. Quite amazing and serious in love with all the toys they get to play with and really wish my cats talked like Plato. Mind you god knows what they’d have said. Absolutely fantastic so get reading and join me I. This brilliant world
Yes it's once again late (12:00 am). Sheesh , I have to stop and figure out if it's am or pm. How old is that!!! And how sad. It just shows how tired I am and no way as tired as Paris (the character, not the city!!). Ok, so now this review is short. Why??? Because I have to read the next book!!!
Noffke (in the immortal words of Daffy Duck). "You're Despicable" (please add spittle)!
The central theme is a re-imagination of the story line to The Wizard of Oz. Well done and very imaginative. Of course, Paris is the only person in the world that can fix everything. Despite the fact that evidently, she hasn't slept in days. Numerous parts stretched belief, as usual. A fun read overall, just really far-fetched.
Another fantastic story that will keep you intrigued. Agent Paris is trying to save love. Only this time it’s a witch trying to stop it. There’s no stopping until you get to the end. Absolutely delightful.
The 5th book tied all of Maria's adventures together. I'm not sure If I want to read more. As book 5 seems to lead me to read that the end will come to Paris. I know I will read more of her story. The pull to read more is so great..
Seriously, The Wizard of Oz We learn so much about Paris and a few things she has to face that all I want to do is keep reading. But I hope my review can help to introduce you to the wonderful universe of the Beaufonts Enjoy
The title says it all. If you thought you knew the story think again. Read this exciting tale to find out how Paris has to save the world from losing love yet again, this time caused by the wrathful destruction of Dorothy.
What a refreshing change to the wizard of oz story. With Soph dealing with everything that happens it was a very enjoyable read. Hoping much more to come.
