I am wild. I am free. And I will not be tamed.

I don’t do relationships. I stick around long enough to have a little fun, and then leave before I can be left.

It’s not like anyone has ever held my interest very long anyway.

Not until three delectable, mysterious, and frustratingly persistent men show up in my life and completely throw it off course.

It was only supposed to be a one-time thing with each of them, but no matter how hard I try to stay away, we keep getting thrown together.

Before them, everything was mundane. The typical college, work, party, occasional random hookup experience—rinse, repeat. But now, I’m unwillingly thrown into a world of chaos and danger. And if I’m being honest, I love the thrill of it.

The second their rivals catch wind of me, I become a pawn in the twisted war they’re in and if I’m not careful, I will end up being just another of the many casualties in this battle of claiming the throne.

Untamed Vixen is a gritty mafia why choose romance standalone in the Sinners and Angels universe that can be read at any time. The Sinners and Angels duet can be read first, but are not necessary. Meant for mature audiences.

So this book had potential. The plot was good, but I felt the relationships were rushed, and I was left with wanting more and a deeper connection with Dom other than sex. With that said, I struggled through this book. This may be petty, but I feel like this needed more edit rounds. There are PAGES of “inner thought” that is really just the author breaking the 4th wall as a way to try and convey a deeper connection between characters without it actually happening in plot. There were also grammatical errors. Words like cower and pivot were used far too often and used incorrectly. The straw that broke the camel’s back for me though was the corny bar screen where Cora is going on about June “living a romance book life” it was tacky and again seemed to break the 4th wall only to ruin the rest of the story.

The first half was sooooo good and then…meh

I loved it. And then after June (FMC) started living with the men, it went downhill. The plot moved faster than the speed of light, it was overly dramatic because of the pace, the feelings didn’t develop authentically, and this was supposed to be a stand-alone yet there’s a sequel and an unfinished plot?

The drama with Coen (MMC) was dumb af. June being pissed at him should have lasted 2 days maybe. We didn’t even get any interactions with him until almost 65%. In fact, the interactions with the men were always business related, not emotional. Sigh.

I still loved the first half. That was like a 4.5⭐️ read. This world has caught my eye and I need to know more.

**I felt it was very important to mention that the author used "female" a ridiculous amount of times. Even when the sentence had "man" in it, she wouldn't say woman, she'd say female. It drove me up a wall. Females is an adjective. And when it's used as a noun, the subject is being erased completely. Considering the author is a woman, I'm guessing this is internalized misogyny. Can we do better please?**

I don’t know if it’s me or the book. Something just not clicking. It was probably a mistake to read this straight after Broken Like You. I think I’m not a fan of this style of writing.

In the previous book, it was the characters I didn’t get along with, but in this one, it’s more so the chemistry.

(Notes: I did DNF at 30%, so my opinion only stretches to this point.)

The connection just seemed very surface-level and the chemistry was missing for me. I’m not a huge age-gap fan though, so that could have played into it.

I was initially quite confused by the ages of the characters. I knew the FMC was 20 and at least one of her harem was older. When she first met this character she mentioned his ‘salt and pepper hair’, so I thought ‘How old is this man’. She then said he was ‘a few years older than her’, so I assumed he was prematurely ageing. As you do (I don’t think anyone else thought this). Looking back I think she was probably being a bit vague, as she later goes on to say that he was ‘double her age’. So the man is about 40, just say it.

I’m not good at maths, but this maths confused me.

I did actually like the FMC, she was a very strong character. She gave the vibe of ‘Don’t piss me off, I bite’. I think I could have grown to like her if her harem was a little different.

Ultimately I got bored and stopped reading. A multitude of things contributed to it. I was disinterested in the relationship. I didn’t like the MMC’s. I am in a book slump and this didn’t hit. I could go on ….

I'll try to get my thoughts together for this one.... On the surface, it checks a lot of boxes for me - dark contemporary RH with anti-heroes who don't apologize, Multi-POV. No OW drama. It just didn't quite hit the mark for me.

It's a bit too much "there's just something about her/him"..... While also being too much of going all wax poetic about how incredible they are or what they meant to them within inner monologue - - but left unspoken 🤔.... I think it needed more focus to establish and deepen the connections and to have it feel believable.

The FMC is overly praised for how amazing she is, like telling me that she's so smart and badass 🤷.... But not showing me that herself. I think it would have been better off playing up the whole her darkness matches theirs and she accepts them as they are and is strong enough (whatever that means) to strengthen them as a unit. Than trying to sell me on these other traits in a "if we say it enough, the reader must accept it" way.

The FMC has hardened herself to love or trust or letting someone close to care for - - she's got abandonment trauma
It takes her most of the book to consider maybe it's worth risking a broken heart.

It's a standalone with HFN ending. It seems like it might be setting up a story for the FMC's bestie Cora.

Well. When the author of this book said on TikTok that this was the darkest and steamiest book on her back list, I’m not gonna lie, I was expecting…more.

I liked it. But I had some problems with it and it just didn’t meet expectations.

The plot was interesting and I was really looking forward to some grand conclusion, but it just sort of fizzled.
It was getting super interesting with the whole ‘counsel’ thing and something happened that I was expecting an explanation for, and we just didn’t get one. At all.
Plus the whole thing was just so easily done.
It was disappointing.

Then the sex.
It was definitely hot, but again, I was expecting more.
Like a group scene that involved all of them, for starters. We didn’t get one of those at All. Not even a hint towards it happening off page.
Plus there were hints here and there that the guys were more dominating and had rougher sides when it came to sex but all we saw was very vanilla. And the dirty talk didn’t even make up for it because there just wasn’t very much of it.

I don’t know. It’s not a bad book. I’d even say it’s a pretty good book. But I was just expecting and hoping for so much more from it.

I think I was expecting more from this book and that's on me. In my opinion this book only grazed the surface of dark, it wasn't actually dark. More than that, the relationships didn't feel developed at all and by the end I never truly believed any character actually belonged together.

This book at first glance, seemed to have everything I enjoyed in one standalone: badass FMC, violence, pretty mafia men, and steamy scenes.

For some reason though, it fell just short of my expectations.

The insta love/obsession thing doesn't work for me. Maybe it's because I'm more partial to a nice angsty slow burn.

I found myself really disliking June. I have no issues with a girl that's got a darkness and violent side to her, but her instant blasé reactions to death by her hand or the men's hands bothered me.

I felt there were a lot of questions I was left without answers to by the end of the book. Who was Vincent working for? What happened to Cohen when he was a teenager? What's the deal with Johnny, Claire, and Bram? What about Simon?

While I didn't hate this book, I definitely ended it feeling slightly deflated and disappointed. I can understand why some people enjoyed it but this was a miss for me personally.

I did a reread on audio before I started reading the second book. My original review stands for the most part. I will say the narrators did make it a better experience! Still wanted more & im glad Luna listened to here fans & is delivering, starting book 2 now! 4.5 ⭐️ 3 🌶️

It was really good!! I love the guys! Especially because they are all so different! I also really loved June. She was a badass and I always love me some badass female characters!

The spicy scenes were fantastic but I would’ve loved more! More spice. More of the book in general!

Maybe they’ll be a spin off with her friend (it’s teased)! 🤞

DNF - i just can’t. First, she’s a really crappy waitress/ bar tender if she can’t make any more than $600 a month working 3 jobs. I mean it sounds like she doesn’t have a car to have to pay for either. Maybe she’s on drugs. I don’t know where else all her money would disappear to. But if she literally has no money, she’s the world’s worst at her job. Second, she’s gonna act all tough wanting to fight strangers at a bar but when her roommate’s boyfriend steals her rent money she doesn’t even put up a fight????? This girl’s an idiot.

A Love so fierce they are willing to kill EACH other for it.

Untamed Vixen was everything dark and spicy! My two favorite things. Three killer hero’s each with their own dominant personalities that you can’t help but buckle for. A heroine so strong and so full of defiance, all you’re doing is rooting for her. This was the perfect blend of mafia, edgy and hot, hot, sex. The plot won’t let up and the men won’t let you leave😏 Five Stars!!

hot dayum

I received an Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review.

And boy the elusive 5 stars lol I don't give it often but I thoroughly enjoyed this. The biggest thing I hate? That there isn't more 😂 I hope that if we don't get a direct sequel we get maybe Miller/Cora and also Simon with cross overs

⭐ didn't like/DNF
⭐⭐ was okay but I probably won't look for any sequels
⭐⭐⭐ it was good I'll likely read the next one
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great and I'll definitely be looking for any sequels
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved it so much I'm adding it to my cart to buy paperback

I think the main thing I loved was that typically in a "mafia" romance type the FMC is naive, innocent, Virgin, insecure etc. June is none of these. She's a good lay and good day kinda gal. Ain't nobody got time for relationships. She's a uni student taking a break to make some cash so she can afford to study. With 3 jobs and little sleep she's no push over. I think I relate to that most. When I was fulltime uni student I had 3 jobs as well and boy did I rarely sleep. When I graduated I told myself I'd take 2 years to earn some cash and save up then I'd go back. That was 4 years ago so girl I feel you!

The guys were great too. The chemistry on point. Their interactions🔥🔥💥💥.

Dominic, Cohen, Magnus.

Dominic - the cold hearted, ruthless leader everyone fears
Cohen - the underestimated one. With a surfer body people don't realise he's the one to actually fear
Magnus - covered in tats he's the one people fear but really he's a big softie.

This book takes place during a change of leadership in the Mafia. Set to take over the guys are at war when a rival wants their throne before they take it.

Definitely be getting the paperback when it's ready

June, Magnus, Cohen & Dominic

Standalone RH part; add on to to a duet. I didn't read the duet portion because when I saw it recommended it stated it was a stand alone. There was so much potential in this one, but the character development was kind of stunted. There wasn't as much growth as I was hoping for. It was there covered by a layer of film. It just needed a little something more and it missed the mark for me.

I wish there was more of their relationship together instead of separate and maybe that is the piece that was missing for me. We didn't really get to see the relationship between Dom, Magnus & Cohen grow and it was kept separate and I didn't like that all. I guess that is part of it you can't really call it an RH if their isn't truly an emotional connection between all the parties. It was alluded to but not experienced. I need the emotional shit.

I love that this was written as a stand-alone however, I loved this book so much I would like another please. Maybe a certain someone redeems himself and is added to the harem? 😬

I hate seeing a book that has potential flop. It was really entertaining until 25% in, then it just fell flat. I only finished it to see if it got better and sadly, it did not.

This was a very anticipated read for me. However, I wasn’t the biggest fan. I did listen to it on audio, and that might have been my issue. I just wasn’t jiving with the FMC and the way the relationships played out.
I do plan on reading Villian Era later on, but I’m a mood reader and I’m not feeling it at the moment.

It had potential....I loved Ruin My Life with Cora but June's story fell flat for me.

It could have been my mood but I just did not feel the same connection to our group.

Maybe part 2 will be better?

Why did the book 'wrap up' when there's a part two book? 4 stars!

This book was actually pretty good and I devoured this book considering the fact that I just got out of a reading slump. The book kept me pulled in the whole time, but why did the stakes rise the last 100 pages and then the characters had a happily ever after for this book to be a part one of the story?

This book follows female main character, June, as she struggles to keep a work/life/school balance until she runs into her first love and two of her one-night-stands who all seems to be living together. The story just sky rockets from there.

I do wish there was more mafia in the book, I feel like it was kind of tamed since we the main focus was on the romance. And I can't wait to read part two and see how they are going to go about adding a fifth person who happens to be one of the enemies. XD

**AKA YOU DO NOT HAVE TO READ THE FIRST BOOK TO READ THIS ONE. THE PREVIOUS BOOK FOCUS ON A DIFFERENT CHARCTER THAT IS MENTIONED IN THIS BOOK.**

Highly recommend to those looking for a mafia reverse harem that mainly focuses on the relationships of the characters!

This one was good. I decided to read more of this author, and I wasn't disappointed. I just happen to be biased and love Stollen By Monsters much more!
This book had a lot of good elements and flowed just as well as the last one. I honestly was hoping that there would be a second book in this series, because I want Simone to join this harem so damn badly 😂 so I'm hoping that where the author goes with this. The ending just really made me believe we'd see more of them all. 🤞

Ugh, I have a lot of thoughts about this book. First off 2.5 stars. (rounded up to 3). As someone who tries to really get behind the story line, I found it dull and lacking. For Dom, Magnus and Cohen being in the mafia, that’s all we get. We don’t get any info about the mafia work they do, they “go to work” or “have things to do” and that’s it. Are they drug trafficking? Are they security detail? Are they money laundering? We get no info on it. For their relationship with June, after a couple days, they’re head over heels for her and find her the love of their lives, and she’s a world changer for them. I feel like Elsa (from Frozen) “you can’t marry a man you just met”, or in this case, you can’t be in love after a couple days. That does not give you enough time to get to know someone. My problem with June: in the beginning of the book, she starts off as a strong independent woman, and then by the end, she’s asking the guys if she looks pretty in a dress and if they approve. I understand characters develop and grow, but that point for me was just weird.

If you’re looking at the book for just it’s Smut/Reverse harem value, I suppose it’s 4/5 stars.

This is a very good mafia standalone RH.
June, the FMC, struggles with life, being forced to drop college and working three shitty jobs in order to live. She's a very independent woman, having nobody to count on for a very long time, and she knows what she wants (and take it😏). What June doesn't do is relationship and meeting three hot guys (who are heads of the local mafia and at war) will shake her world. But June will not allow herself to be destabilised by it and the guys will have to understand how strong she is if they want to gain her heart.
I really like June and her personnality. Full of sass, brave, genuine, and so independent! The guys are also pretty interesting and I like that there is a guy a bit older in the harem (silver fox here!🔥😏). There was also some action, revenge, and a fourth suitor who swears waiting for her forever if necessary😉 I would have love to read what could happen between June and Simon... Is there really no possibility to be together for them?
I really enjoyed this book and I recommend it!

"June was an angel but with tattered wings and a devilish grin, a darkness matching mine I couldn't stay away from"

didn't think I'd be into mafia romance...but then I was sorely mistaken. I DEVOURED this book. I really loved that she runs into each guy of the harem on their own and that they all have their own story. I loved the conflict between her and Co, and I loved the sweetness that Magnus provided. I felt like there could've been more between her and Dom though.

There is one VERY graphic scene so if you're sensitive to blood/gore, read with caution. I didn't think I was sensitive but even this scene turned my stomach a little bit.

For probably one of the first time ever, I actually read the epilogue because I couldn't get enough. There's one part of that I just didn't agree with, but it didn't change my opinion of the book.
