Laura Williams hasn’t stepped foot in her hometown since she was old enough to leave.
But when a doctor calls about her mom’s declining medical condition, she has no choice but to return home and look after her.
Besides, it couldn’t be as bad as living in a city with the man who broke her heart. 2 weeks before their wedding.
As a 35-year-old journalist, hanging onto her job by a thread, and healing from a broken heart, Laura goes back to North Carolina to take care of her mom, agreeing to take on any stories that come her way.
When she arrives, the small-town is on edge because a thirteen-year-old girl has gone missing from Lighthouse Lane…again.
Memories come flooding back, and it all sounds eerily similar to when Laura’s best friend went missing from that exact location 17 years ago…
It gets more complicated when she realizes she knows the missing girl’s father. Harry Matthews, who is just as handsome as she remembers.
Laura makes it her mission to do whatever it takes to help Harry find his daughter.
Join Laura and Harry in this small-town romantic mystery as they work together to unravel this high-stakes case, while facing their past and finding love in the most unexpected ways.
This is Book 4 of 6 in the Outer Banks Mystery series.
Things really intensify in this book and once you start reading you will not be able to put it down. Trin discovers more info about the kidnappings. Laura and Harry fly to Alaska to follow more leads. Full of suspense with lots of drama and action. No spoiler here but you will love this book. Of course it ends with a cliffhanger. A great book that I read as a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
Laura Williams had just been through questioning by the FBI and was now taking a walk. She ended up at Lighthouse Lane where Chloe and Trin had been taken. Someone on the beach let out a sharp cry followed by a sob and she ran toward the sound. A little girl around 6 or 7 who had passed her earlier on a scooter was on the sand, holding her hand to her chest. Maya cried, saying her hand hurt. Laura saw a glass shard in the wound on her palm. After calling the child’s aunt, she poked in the sand and found a broken cell phone just like when they found Trin. She phoned Detective Greta Hughes and soon Greta, Harry, and a tall stranger were walking toward her. The paramedic, Noah, had come to treat Maya’s cut.
Getting a call that Laura’s mom fainted, they went to the hospital to see her. Trin also came but sneaked into Nurse Cooper’s former office and found a floppy disk with Trin’s name on it. Trin had recognized that what appeared to be random letters in a solid line on a label could be seen as much more -- T R N M T T W S was Trin Matthews, C L O G R G was Chloe Grigg, T M Y J N S was Tommy Jones, and S T V S N was the Stevenson twins! And when they deciphered some of the disk’s information regarding Chloe, the childhood best friend of Laura and Harry, the two of them fly to Alaska, hoping against hope they may find their kidnapped friend who has been missing for 20 years.
Wow, the action is fast and furious as the series progresses. If Chloe is alive, could she shed some light on the mystery? But then if she is alive, why had she not come forward in all this time? Grab your copy and dive into this thrilling mystery. You will not want to stop reading until the last page!

Title: Last Seen at Lighthouse Lane Author: Sage Parker Publisher: S. P. Series: An Outer Banks Mystery Book 4 Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: Five Review: "Last Seen at Lighthouse Lane" by Sage Parker
My Sentiments:
As this series continues with book four, this author gives the reader another good story as we see Laura and Harry continuing their investigation. Through this investigation, these two, along with the police [Detective Greta], will they be able to find a classmate Chloe, who has been missing for over twenty years.
Laura is still trying to discover who kidnapped Trin and the other kids and who else is involved in this mess. Laura still has to find out more about her mom's illness, and with that, she tries to fight off her feelings for Harry. Will she be able to do that?
Be ready for many twists and turns, a fast-paced mystery, as the story gets very complex in what all is going on with some fascinating characters that will leave one in awe ...I didn't see that one coming. To get the rest of the story, you must pick up this read and be ready for the next book, 5, as this cliffhanger continues.
Book four finds Trin discovering more information about the kidnappings including that of Chloe who was the childhood best friend of Laura and Harry. With some additional assistance with Louis and Babs, Laura is able to decipher the information found by Trin. She and Harry fly to Alaska with the hope of finding their long lost kidnapped friend. The book ends in a cliffhanger.

Another good addition to the series. Laura and Harry don’t know what to make of the picture of a grown woman that definitely looks like their missing friend, Chloe. While the investigation continues, so does the attraction between them. Can they come up with the answers to who is kidnapping children from the island?.

The story gets better and more intriguing with each book. Laura and her friends are trying to solve the disappearances of children. Trin was one of the missing kids and the daughter of her dear friend. Trin stumbles upon some evidence of the missing kids. One of the missing kids is Laura's childhood friend, Chloe. They follow clues to Alaska but will happen when they come face to face with Chloe?

Again, I don't want to release any more information except that you will be amazed at what Lauren and Harry have found. Also does Trin's mother really understand what she has gone through? Again, more clues, more suspects, more children kidnapped, more people found and more people who are involved in this whole thing. Again, Sylvia this is one of the best stories I have read.

This is book 4 in the series and each book has been an addictive page turner. I wasn’t expecting such suspense. The storyline grips you and keeps you turning pages to see what’s going to happen next. I am enjoying the attraction between Harry and Laura, the main characters as they are growing closer. More clues are revealed in this book but still ends in a cliff hanger. I’m anxiously awaiting book 5.

The twists and turns throughout the series are getting even more complicated which gives the series a great hook. Laura, Harry, and Greta are still trying to figure out how all the pieces fit, but each time it seems that they have figured out a piece of the puzzle they discover that there’s another piece to figure out. Whether it is coded wording or strange coincidences, the story continues to keep you wanting to find out more and desperately waiting to figure out how it concludes.
So did not expect what happened in the last chapter to happen!!! I am so excited to find out what happens next and if Chloe will even talk. What is going through Laura and Henry's mind at this moment because mine is still saying, huh!

Another great follow up in this series. The tension created while reading the story makes my heart pound. More hints and clues as to who, what and why however not enough to figure it out. I can't wait to read the next book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
No spoilers here. This is a series you'll want to read in order as each book is connected.

Another page turning addition to the series! The author does a great job building the tension even as she throws in some hints along the way. She moves the story fluidly with her detailed and descriptive scenes and delivers another terrific read. I'm looking forward to the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This series is certainly heating up and the mysteries keep on coming. What a massive reveal at the end of this book that had my head spinning. So much drama and intrigue which is all heading for a crescendo that promises to be epic. Cannot wait for the next instalment.

The mystery continues. The more answers or lack there are answers, the more questions are raised. Now that the twins were kidnapped from a different state, the FBI is involved and it rubs Detective Greta the wrong way. Laura now believes that Chloe is alive, what will happen when she finds her?.

Can't get enough TBE characters pull you and and you are fo!losing them step by step please keep writing I love this series and will continue with the others Thank You For Writing
My least favorite so far in the series. I felt that this one didn’t have a ton of information and had much less suspense than the first 3 books. Ended on a cliffhanger. Still interested to see how this story ends up and I enjoy that these are short quick reads.
It may have taken me awhile to get back to reading again, but Sage Parker is an amazing author. This book is as good as any other bookshelf wrote. I pick up any of her books and it’s hard to put them down. I just finished book 4 and can’t wait to start book 5.
