Could of been a 5 star
The characters and stories were good with twists and turns and love wins out..... But the nasty language was to much and unnecessary ... The bird was funny... One story had 10 pages to much raw sex .. It didn't have to be that graphic... I may try more books from this author..

Fun and light
These books were a great light read. Each book is based on a different member of Blackbridge security team.
Book 1 covers the owner Deacon and his romance with Anna, the best friend of his ex-wife. Deacon and Anna were like oil and water during his High school years and his early marriage to a rich party girl. So he’s surprised when she calls him out of the blue, years after his divorce asking for help when his ex is in trouble. While chasing the trail of his self centred ex, he learns that Anna might not be the woman he thought she was, and perhaps he’s been too hard on her. Some recon (stalking!), a tux and a grand gesture might be enough to get back in her good books.
Book 2 centres on Wren, the teams nerdy tech guy (with a not so nerdy physique) who finds his dream girl thanks to a package delivery mix up. Instead of leading to a meet-cute, his lack of confidence gets the best of him and he falls back on his hacker ways. Before he knows it, his online stalking gets tangled up with meeting Witney in real life and the truth becomes harder to hide. Add in a shared kink, his foul mouthed pet bird and a rogue FBI agent hell bent on eliminating her and things are getting hot!
Book 3 tells the story of Flynn, the ex-FBI, second in command of the team and his newest job. Keeping 20 year old Remington, daughter of a famous couple and a girl notorious at escaping her security detail, safe. She pushes all his buttons and lights him up like a Christmas tree. But he’s been played by a woman before, the last one cost him his job at the FBI and he’s determined not to be played again. Remington has been abandoned and ignored her whole life so acting out is the only way to get attention. Will Flynn chase her or will he abandon her without a second thought like everyone else? An age gap, oodles of UST and a princess who wants out of her gilded cage.

This set came highly recommended to me. The narrators did a great job. That was the only positive I felt.
Hostile Takeover
This book started off being decent. Then it went downhill. Mostly because I could not stand Anna. She was unpleasant, arrogant, immature, weak, and not very bright.
It was interesting that this man who she allegedly hated was the first person she called for help. Deacon was not much better with his attitude. Then there was Deacon's ex-wife and Anna's best friend Dani, who was a miserable excuse for a human being.
I didn't like Anna and I disliked her even more for being Dani's lap dog. This was a difficult read for me. The book didn't become bearable until the last 4 or 5 chapters. I felt like if Anna had been a more likable person I would have enjoyed this book more.
A Shot In the Dark
The book started out interestingly enough. I skimmed through most of this book. It was silly. I was expecting the whole Mr. Jones situation to kick off earlier in the book . It didn't.
The BDSM part didn't hit. The mix up with the box was silly. I bought the book on a recommendation. I made myself finish it
Contingency Plan
This was a DNF for me. I made it to Chapter 6. I was so disgusted by Remington's behavior I didn't care what happened to her.
It irritated me that Flynn was so attracted to someone that behaved like her. Her mommy and daddy issues needed to be handled by her therapist. I don't enjoy books where people escape the consequences for their scrappy behavior.
The thing that really irritated me was this book was highly recommended AND I paid for it. I was so sick of her whining about herself.

exceptional reading
These books are wonder,exciting,hot,sexy and down right funny
There is suspense and intrigue as well but the guys who work in this security office have great sense of humor and not only get the job done but find their hEA as well.
This is a new author for me and it’s hard for me to put down. One teaser there is a African gray talking bird in this series and boy the things he says has made me laugh so hard I’ve cried

Blackbridge security box set 1
Good read,and fun. However, I would like less personal relationships and more action and more security story. If you like relationships for the story then this is for you . Even though the parrot is really funny I personally prefer action, danger and intreague as well.

this security group is great
I have loved getting to know each of these characters. I can’t wait to read the next books in this series. The different ways these guys have been introduced to love has been astounding. Then the lengths the go to been with these women is great.

I bought this thinking it was an action set filled ith twists and an actual plot. It is a low interest story about 2 people lusting after one another. If you like romance without much actual story, this is your book.

I loved this series. Big bad guys brought to their knees by love. My favourite character was Puff Daddy, the foul mouth African parrot. I recommend this seris.

Such a good book. Started reading it after reading all of the Cerberus books. It has good humor and spicy moments that keep you really engaged.

Overall these were a good read. I rated it a 3, because in the 3rd book there it seemed the letters to the parents that were a security concern just fizzled. It didn’t go anywhere and the story lacked any drama. And sorry but the bird in all of them was a bit of overkill. Yes parrots are good at repeating things but they don’t have the mental capacity to carry on conversations like is portrayed.

BBS 1 - 3
Marie has a way of making me crazy and laugh and then need a nap from the emotional roller coaster she takes me on. My fave is book 2 about Wren, the IT genius and his kinky love connection. But all the stories are amazing. Can't wait to start book 4.

A great boxset
I loved all 3 stories, this would have been a 5* but for me story 3 lacked security drama. The parents said she needed high end security so I was looking for a kidnap p!it or a harassment of sorts but didn't get anything more than a young woman starved of affection.
I wanted her to get her HEA which she did but I missed her parents realising there parental neglect of the press turning on them rather than hounding their daughter.
Books 1&2 held my attention throughout and held more security which I wanted to see.
I would recommend the boxset.

An absolutely fantastic, intriguing and fun journey to go on with Deacon, Wren, Flynn and their beautiful counterparts. I enjoyed every single second of this these amazing stories. Audiobook is just as great narration is perfection!
