The Queen of Castona was insisting her son, Marco get married so she had made arrangements for him to met a young woman from Texas on a Caribbean Island to get to know her and eventually propose to her. Somehow the pilot took Marco to the wrong island as there were two islands with similar names. Marco did not pay that much attention going on to the resort where they always had a suite ready for his family. He then went to the bar to meet Alexis Robertson, but he met Alexa Roberts instead by accident. Alexa's had no idea who he actually was so she treated him no differently than she would any other guy, but they did spend the evening together going to dinner, talking, walking along the beach, and then Marco proposed. Unfortunately, Alexa laughed in his face, making fun of the ring which was when they found out there had been a mix up. Alexa left extremely upset over the whole situation, and Marco went to find out what happened and where Alexis really was at. That was when he discovered the island mix up, but he was stuck for a few days as his brother took his jet to fly his family somewhere and it would not be back for a few days, and Marco refused to fly commercial airline. After learning this Marco felt bad about how he treated Alexa. He did not intend to hurt her feelings and he felt he owed her an apology. Plus, they had gotten along very well the day before and he would like to spend more time with her. They had a lot in common and she liked to try new things. The Queen had a plan all along, she was sneaky like that. Marco and Alexa really seemed to make a perfect match. They both loved adventure with trying new things from food to activities. They made each other better people, but Alexa was not Alexis so what would the Queen say? Would Marco fall into line and do what the Queen told him to do or would he fight for what he wanted? A down to earth believable love story. Wonderfully written so that you almost feel like you are on the tropical island at the resort with them.

This was a brilliant book and I loved how the main characters had to learn that if you want something you must be willing to fight for it even if it means you could lose everything. Queen Marianne is sick of waiting for her youngest son Marco to marry so she arranges a match for him on a Caribbean island. Now Prince Marco is on his way to meet his bride to be Alexis Robertson but when he gets to the hotel he meets Alexa Roberts checking in but not thinking anything more about the name he asked her out on a date. Alexa Roberts is an ER nurse that has won a all expenses paid trip to a Caribbean island and decides to have the best time ever and when checking in she meets a sexy as sin man named Marco who asks her out on a date and she thinks why not just enjoy herself and agrees. They spend some wonderful days and nights together and learn so much about each other and that he is a Prince and when he gets down on one knee to propose to her and she laughs and he is angry and then not long later he is told that he is on the wrong island and is with the wrong woman after all. Now he needs to make it right with Alexa till he can fly out to meet the right woman in a couple of days but why does it feel so wrong leave Alexa the woman he has fallen for behind. Can he stand up to his mother once and for all and can he make Alexa believe that he wants her to be his wife. How does it all turn out for these two in the end, well I'm not saying but it is a must read.

This story had so much potential but it fell flat for me. Prince Marco of Castona is very close to his mother and what the Queen says goes. She is now on a mission to force Marco to marry for political advantage. Alexis Robertson, daughter of a USA Texas Senator, has the prestige that the Queen is looking for. Marco pretty much does whatever is asked of him so he agreed to meet this lady on a tropical island however there is a mix-up and Marco and Alexis end up on two different islands. Arriving at the same time as Marco is a vacationer, Alexa Roberts is an ER nurse in Texas. Alexa actually won this 2 week trip to the resort. Upon check-in there is confusion on both of their suites reservations… and… then Marco confuses Alexa with Alexis. He is very surprised because he likes Alexa so he starts courting her. They develop a good friendship and spend several days together enjoying the resort and each other. Marco is a complete gentleman, friendly, kind, and handsome but I felt also he was a very weak and spoiled pampered man. Marco and Alexa do hit it off but the story didn’t give any indication they were falling in love. The ending was good. I received a free advanced copy of this story from Booksprout. Queen Marianne reprimanded her son Prince Marco of Castona for being “late”… it was only a minute past their appointment. She had a list of events she wanted him to become involved in. And everything had to stick closely to tradition. After discussing the long list, she came to the “most important topic”. He knew what that dreaded topic would be. The Queen was ready for him to get married, and she had taken steps for him to meet his betrothed. Miss Alexis Robertson expressed interest. The daughter of a US senator, this would give them a political advantage. So he will meet her on a tropical island so they can get to know each other. His mother ignored his scowl.
With a mix-up, Alexis is sent to a different island. Alexa Roberts, an ER nurse, had won a 2-week Caribbean getaway to a resort and is on the same island as Marco. Marco is confused by the name as Alexa and Alexis sound so similar. But he is delighted to meet Alexa and begins to get closer to her. They both enjoy each other’s company and friendship. But when the mistaken identity is sorted out, will Marco at last stand up to his mother and announce the woman he wishes to marry? Or will he lose Alexa and perform his duty for the Queen?
Prince Marco's mother the Queen in wanting him to get married and has set up a match for him to go meet on an island. However, there's a mix up and he goes to the wrong island. Alexa is a nurse, and she wins a vacation to an island with a lot of benefits. She's excited about her trip. Yet when she arrives, they don't have a reservation for her. After looking at her email the desk clerk finds a room for her, but she has a wait. So, she goes to the bar and this is where she meets Marco. Marco thinks she is the woman he is supposed to meet. Things go great between them until he learns of the mistake. Will he leave Alexa and go to the woman of his mother's choosing? Will he see that Alexa is perfect for him?

A Fate-filled Trip - Alexa couldn’t believe her luck when she got the call telling her she had won the free vacation. However, what she didn’t realise at the time was that, her acceptance was the start of a whirlwind journey, that will change her life forever. Marco agreed to his mother’s request under duress, however, what he realise was that, he was about to embark on a life changing journey towards his soulmate. A catalogue of errors and misunderstandings makes them spend time together, which helps them finally realise they were meant to be together.
The feeling I got whilst turning the pages of this book, was tantamount to opening the present I always wanted on the morning of Christmas Day. This was an awesome and entertaining read, that deserves to be recommended.

Mistaken identity leads to a whole new future....if he is willing to grab on tight
The Royal Bride Switcheroo is the fourth book in the Princely Passions series and it is a sweet, romantic and fun read. The story about Alexa and Marco starts off with mistaken identity but it soon becomes clear that these two are meant to be together. But the big question is will the "mama whipped boy" learn to stand up to his mother, who just so happens to be Queen, and determine his own future happiness.

Alexa and Marco did something I could see myself doing by going to the wrong place for vacation!! But just because they were in the wrong place didn't mean they didn't find their right person. This had its funny moments along with the romantic walks on the beach. I loved that there weren't colorful word bombs exploding everywhere; however, the brief reference of a woman's wife was a big NO for me.

An enjoyable read! Very fairy tale like. The storyline keeps you Involved And doesn't contain a lot of the Descriptive sex as does other romantic novels I have read. Love doesn't care who or what station you are in life. I would recommend this book to the many who love, LOVE!!
I really enjoyed this story, the storyline is well-written thought out and interesting, the mistaken identity romance between Alexa and Marco pulled me in and I was glad they managed to get their HEA.
I almost didn’t finish the book because their meeting was just too far fetched. But I didn’t want to give up because I really like this author. It gets really good and I am glad I read it. It’s sweet, discreet intimacy and a HEA.
I really enjoyed this book was a bit slow to begin but once I had read somemore it was great the characters were awesome a d the chemistry between Marco and Alexa was hot. Looking forward to the next book
More than a fairy tale. It's a love tale with benefits. Surprises over surprises all along the book. A few errors about names, but nothing bothering. Monica Beltrami. Montevideo, Uruguay.
I would classify this book as an unexpected romance. It was sweeter than telling and very clean. The characters are really did such a way that you could picture them in the world today. With Alexa be kind of like the girl next door at Marco be royalty who's down to earth kind of like Prince Harry but a little bit more approachable.
For those believers in true love country dog this is a story that you'll enjoy reading.
