Oath of Possession

Rate this book
Vivia Montavio is a traitor, and it’s my job to see to her punishment and interrogation.
What a tragedy.

She’s the hottest little number I’ve ever seen with that defiant little chin and eyes that spark with wit and boldness. I love a good challenge.

We’re left with little choice when the truth outs.
So I take her far, far away to La Cabina, a rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere.
To…interrogate her.
Discover the truth.

But when I uncover more than I anticipated, she’s not the only guilty one.
Because now that we’re alone, I’ll take whatever I want.
The truth.
Her innocence.
Everything.

She’s in danger, but there’s only one way to protect her now:
Claim her as mine.
Keep her captive.
Possess her.

And there’s no one left to protect her from me.

Another wonderful addition to the series, great characters, action filled story
A simply wonderful read that I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of and I am sure that like myself other readers that have read the other books in this series will be anxious to read this book so that you can jump into this next fantastic chapter as it had been a marvellous read.
Viva Montavio is a traitor and now they have her she will be punished and they will find out exactly who she is working for, what she has been trying to find out and they are prepared to do whatever it takes to get the information needed.
When the answers are finally given, it is obvious that there are very few options open to him so he takes her to the cabin and proceeds to interrogate her until all the information they have is finally admitted to.
After he has been locked in a single room for God knows how long pressured to get as many answers as possible the actual sexual chemistry between them is off the charts and he has never been a man that said No!! He decides that he will take everything that is available to him and fails to realise that he has started to care for her welfare.
He will keep her safe, she is his captive, his to claim and to possess and to keep safe and sound.
I guarantee that you will enjoy every moment of this wonderful book and will be left wanting more.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Jane Henry’s Oath of Possession is the latest in her Deviant Doms series and we get Dario and Vivia’s story. This series as a whole is so enjoyable. I love the Rossi brothers—they’re fiercely devoted to their family and their spouses, they’re hot, and there’s their love of food, which I think I enjoy most of all (spoiler warning, no food fights this book). The book opens with Dario having taken Vivia and her boyfriend prisoner with plans to interrogate them to find out who is after the youngest Rossi sister. Obviously, things don’t go as planned because this IS a Jane Henry story. Vivia’s struggles and Dario’s persistence in finding out what’s going on is electric. Their chemistry and interactions are page turners, and since this IS a series, readers also get a certain comfort in the familiar with the other characters.

This is the 6th book in the Deviant Doms series. Vivia and Dario end up in an isolated cabin deep in the woods. Dario captured Vivia and intends to interrogate her to find out whether she was part of the plot to kill Marialena. The time in the woods are hot, sexy, scary for Vivia but that will change as they each learn more about each other. Although her guilt looks convincing, Vivia is actually innocent and
with his interrogation techniques, will get to the truth in the end and a HEA.

I was wondering about Dario. Damn he's hot. Love his and Vivia's story.
Vivia turned out to be a badass in her own rights.
She came through in the end. Her and Dario made the perfect match.

There is a reason that I follow Jane Henry and read her books! That's because I love getting sucked into her mafia stories. Dario and Viva's story is everything I wanted. The danger, the angst and we can't forget all the steamy scenes! This world of Deviant Doms is one of my favorites and always will be. I can't wait until the next book

SHE’S MY LITTLE CAPTIVE

The sixth story in this series, Deviant Doms, had this reader engrossed in the tale and kept the pages turning as the story unfolds. It is a mixture of family, loyalty, secrets, lies, betrayal, mystery, suspense, life and death, danger, and an action romance. I genuinely believe that this was my favorite in this fantastic series.

Someone has made an attempt on Marialena, and it has pointed to their cousin, Vivia Montavio as a traitor—that would mean her death. But Romeo needs answers and will appoint Dario DeRocco to get them. It isn’t just Vivia that has been caught, but some guy she was with named Gray Mullet. When they come under attack and must get away, Gray is killed, and Dario and Vivia barely escape—they will go in hiding where he will get answers.

“She’s in danger, but there’s only one way to protect her now: Claim her as mine. Keep her captive. Possess her. And there is no one left to protect her from me.”

The story’s plot will have the Rossis have an attempt on one of their own, the youngest sister, Marialena. Intel leads them to a cousin, Vivia Montavio. They need and will get answers. Before they can interrogate her and her partner, Gray, another attack where they must escape—eventually, these two are all that’s left but so many questions. Orlando will take and drop them off at La Cabina, a rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere, for Dario to discover the truth. It is best to report to her family that she and Dario were killed in an accident, so they have a chance to find the answers to this mystery.

“I’d like to think Vivia’s innocent, but in my line of work, you’re guilty until proven innocent, and the evidence against her isn’t looking good.”

I loved this story, the characters of Vivia and Dario. While he had called her Princess, she proved to be much more, and her actions and tenacity helped her find the answers needed. Dario and Orlando were in prison together, and now he is Head Capo for the Rossi family—yet, he is still a man, and there is something about Vivia that calls to him. He wants to punish her and protect her too. His methods reveal so much about her, and she submits to him. The feelings go both ways—and they learn to trust each other. It will be a strong woman during a life and death situation that changes the course of this story and heals a family rift. ‘All’s fair in love and war,’ and Vivia proves that is true. You have to love when a man stands up to not one but two powerful men and lays claim to her—and Dario is just that man.

'Oath of Possession' is the sixth book in Jane Henry's "Deviant Doms" series and begins with Dario DeRocco, the Capo in the Rossi Mafia family, driving the car with his two prisoners. That in itself would be nothing new. What does make this unusual is the fact that someone tried to assassinate Marialena Rossi, the youngest of the Rossi siblings and all evidence points to Vivia Montavio, her cousin, and her boyfriend Gray. Did you catch that? Vivia Montavio is also a Mafia Princess and, as we all know, Princess' are not allowed to date. They are used to make family alliances. Because Dario is a brother by oath and not blood he's the one assigned to interrogate and find out who is responsible and why. The plot twists and turns with revelations towards both families. Loyalties are put into question, insecurities are coming to the surface, bonds are formed, and we wind up with Gray killed by whomever he was working for and our Hero and heroine falling in love. That still leaves the question of who is behind the attempt and how can they prove Vivia's innocence that she is proclaiming. It's an adrenaline read with all the mafia, drama, and mystery wrapped around scenes that are HOT as blue blazes.

Very quick read, and a very good read. Typical smutty book yet worthy of four stars. Couldn’t even really say why. I guess it was just easier to invest in this one than many others like this.

Jane Henry has written another great book in her Deviant Doms series.
The sixth book in the series, Oath of Possession is my favorite one so far.
The fast-paced action in the book's beginning doesn't disappoint, and the reader gathers insight into Dario's and Vivia's characters and motivations.
We follow their relationship from enemies to lovers as events change what each one knows about the other.
I always love the twists and turns in Jane's books that finally get the characters to their HEA.
I read and reviewed and Advance Reader Copy of the book.

This story yet again fell short for me. Dario rossi is taking vivia Captive to interrogate her on a plot to kill her cousin marialena and takes her to cabin to do while the rossi clan try to figure out who kidnaps them at the beginning but escape so that Parr was eh, in the cabin he believes her on her story about she was setup from the guy she was with and he said ok and then it was just sex that was pretty much the book. The end of book was about who was behind the plot but not really and I guess they will introduce more of this Columbia fit in next book with marialena
This book was just ok for me

Oath of Possession, by Jane Henry, is the sixth novel in the series Deviant Doms, a Dark Mafia Romance which focuses on the Rossi family located in the Boston area on the East Coast. This novel starts right in the action with Dario DeRocco, Capo of the Rossi Mafia family, in a car with two prisoners: Vivia Montavio, younger sister of Mantavio brothers and cousin to the Rossi family; and her male “acquaintance” Gary.

Dario is gridlocked in traffic with two prisoners and receives a phone call from Romeo informing him that the ride to home (the Castle) will take three hours. Dario wonders if they were tailed, so Dario then calls Orlando looking for an off-the-grid place he can take his prisoners until the traffic clears. Orlando suggests his restaurant the Eatalia, which is closed, but it has a meat locker which locks from the outside and makes it handy for interrogating prisoners. Dario has been watching interaction between Gary and Vivia-- for both his job and a personal factor toward Vivia. Gary seems cold toward Vivia and implies that she set the whole plan up to kidnap Marialena Rossi. In contrast, Vivia is shocked and genuinely angry by Gary’s accusation. This irritates Dario but as he continues his interrogation, he angrily reacts with several punches to Gary. Vivia begins to cry that she would never hurt her cousin Marialena who is family. Dario is interrupted by a phone call which tells him to leave quickly because someone is after them. He quickly exits the restaurant throwing Gary in the back seat and putting Vivia in the front seat by his side.

As Dario maneuvers the car through Boston traffic, they attempt to escape when gunshots start peppering the vehicle. Some shots bounce off since it is an armored car. Dario switches seats with Vivia and makes her drive as he starts shooting at the three cars tailing them. A few strays get through weak points in the glass and hit Gary’s head. Vivia runs out of road to drive on due to construction, so she and Dario are forced to take off on foot as he pulls her protectively behind him. He killed nine men, but three are still left. Dario is then grazed in the head by one shot. Three men disarm Dario and Vivia gets drugged with a shot to the neck. When they awaken, Dario and Vivia find themselves prisoner in an unknown location near water, so probably a wharf. When they get their bearings, they activate the transponder which Vivia put in her clothes. Soon Orlando arrives and saves them from their captors. Vivia is put in Orlando’s vehicle next to Dario where she is handcuffed and blindfolded. Orlando tells his cousin that the charges against her are serious and that the Montavios and Rossis are not happy with her. Vivia fully knows how precarious her current situation is when she finds herself left at a rustic cabin in an undisclosed location in a forest with Dario, while the Montavios and Rossis think both she and Dario are dead.

Dario soon starts his interrogation of Vivia beginning with some personal questions about her life with the Montavio family. He prefaces his questions with the fact that it is important that she be perfectly honest with him. Dario is doing his interrogation “job” that the Rossi family directed him to do, but slowly Dario begins to feel protective, gentle, and lustful over Vivia, his so-called prisoner. Over the coming days, their conflicted relationship begins to morph into something more primal and loving. Both are conflicted. Vivia knows Dario is a dangerous made-man in the Rossi Mafia and is there to do his “job.” Dario knows that Vivia is in deep trouble with her family and since they have “disowned” her for the kidnap plot regarding Marialena. However, it troubles him what the Montavios will do when they find out that Vivia willing gave her virginity to Gary, a guy who merely used her. Without her virginity, she is no longer of “value” to the Montavio family; as a result, they will most likely marry her off to someone with little care about her happiness. This thought is disconcerting to Dario.

Before future plans and actions can be discussed, a major plot twist strikes, and changes everything. Like a Master weaver, Jane Henry weaves her characters into a dangerous and complex plot. While her words keep you transfixed, you will be mesmerized throughout the read.

A rating of three was a push for me. Guilty until proven Innocent?

The story had gaps and didn't flow well. The writing seemed off at times with too many "oohs and awes instead of actual text. I've read too many well written Mafia genre series to not notice when the writing seems elementary or lacking substance.

I didn't follow the story line at all with Vivia's family's "rush to judgement" aka her brother Sergio. What a douchebag. You would have thought he would have wanted to prove that his sister did not attempt "the hit" on the Rossi girl. I mean who says "my sister is dead to me" before you know the entire story and just wants to put a bullet in her head and move on. Even at the end of the book when she painstakingly goes point by point to prove her innocence does he actually admit he was a douchebag and only apologizes when Dario makes him. And then....of course she forgives him....ugh. Talk about having to save your own ass when your brother wants you dead.

The whole interrogation thing got very repetitious and of course Dario and Vivia's attraction was a given. There attraction was pretty text book Mafia hostage scenario...the good girl, who had an affair with a man that clearly was using her falls for her abductor/interrogator. Her family was also textbook Mafia when it came to what women were good for....leverage through a virginal/arranged marriage to another family that will add to their riches and control.

Dario and Vivia's story was the only thing that saved this book from a "do not finish". It was rough around the edges with Dario manipulating the story until he didn't. Vivia came through in the end of the book when she saved his life and then went undercover to save herself. Their attraction/lust turned love story made the book worth finishing. He was determined to protect her, which in his line of work, could mean a death sentence for both characters. He got to know her enough to know that she wouldn't do anything like putting a hit on the Rossi girl.

I found it interesting that Vivia cleared herself when two large Mafia families couldn't get to the bottom of the "hit". Great job guys. She made you all look "incompetent".

Another great story in Jane Henry's "Deviant Doms" series.
Vivia Montavio was a mafia princess, the young sister of Sergio, Dom of the Montavio mafia family, now her brother wanted her dead, her cousins the prestigious Rossi mafia family wanted her dead, loyalty was law in the mafia families but how could they believe that she would plan the death of her cousin Marialena Rossi, much loved youngest sister of the powerful Rossi family, she loved Marialena, what reason could she have ?......Vivia's fate was sealed, she knew that she was innocent but how could she prove it ? who hated her so much that they would put her life at risk ? or was the reason more sinister.
The Rossi family had captured her and to stave off a gang war she was secreted away to a cabin off the beaten track with Dario De Rocco, head capo and sworn brother of the Rossi family as her jailer, he was to interrogate her. The cabin had no amenities, Vivia, who had been brought up in luxury quickly learned how to live rough.
This story follows the interaction between Vivia and Dario and then the blossoming love, Daria believed in Vivia's innocence but how could he convince his brothers, the indisputable evidence had come from non other than Mario's wife who had been a serving police officer and had the trust of the brothers.
Dario's life was in danger, now was Vivia's chance to escape, could she leave Dario to die alone ? could she prove her innocence without him ? could she bring peace to the waring families ?
This is a lovely story giving another insight into mafia families, their laws and traditions and of course a romance with loads of hurdles to jump.
I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.

Oath of Possession is the sixth book in Jane Henry’s Deviant Doms series which focuses on the Italian mob family the Rossis.

After some investigating, it seems that Rossi cousin Vivia Montavio is the likely suspect in an assassination attempt on Marialena Rossi. Capo Dario DeRocco who joined the family after meeting Orlando Rossi in prison, is tasked with questioning Vivia and determining her guilt or innocence. Dario takes Vivia to a remote cabin and begins questioning her. As long as she’s honest, things will be fine, but a lie will earn punishment in the form of a spanking. It becomes obvious to Dario that Vivia is innocent, and he intends to protect her by marrying her. That’s assuming the true enemy will let them live long enough.

As with the other books in this series, I love the Rossi family - they’re close and have true love for one another. Dario is not related to the Rossi family by blood, and I wish we could’ve learned more about his past. His mother is mentioned, but I want to know more. I did take a star off this time for a couple of reasons. We don’t really get a lot of time at The Castle or much interaction with the entire family. The character of Vivia is confusing. Without giving anything away, I’ll just say that the Vivia at the beginning of the book and at the end of the book seem like two entirely different people. Where did she suddenly get these technology skills when it seems like she led an incredibly sheltered life? Overall, though, I love a Jane Henry book, and that includes Oath of Possession.

This book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the entire series - it’s so good. Let me know if you do read it - I’d love to discuss!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "OATH OF POSSESSION" I was totally hooked from the start I love this series can't get enough its full of angst, danger, scorching hot passion, secrets, kidnapping, danger, suspense, intrigue, mystery, betrayal, surprises twists that have you turning the pages.
Dario is Capo for Rossi family, Marco & Gloria help him take Vivia Montavio & Gray Mullet into custody because the Rossi family feel they tried to have Marialena Rossi assassinated.
Dario trys to take them to the Castle to be interrogated but their hit with people behind this whole thing Orlando picks up Dario & Vivia after Gray is killed he takes them to remote cabin no one knows where they are until they figure what connection Vivia has to all of this.
Vivia put herself in a danger out situation rebelling against her family who don't have much respect for her so she snuck out to be with Gray losing her innocence which could cause her to be exiled from her family.
Dario learns alot from Vivia at the cabin one he believes she's innocent of trying to assassinate Marialena they become very close but something happens to him that she got Orlando on the phone saying Dario desperately needed help when they arrived Vivia disappears.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing well written story so much happens your on the edge of your seat the whole time so many twists will Dario & Vivia get their HEA, will they figure who's after Marialena you must get this excellent book to see what happens so well worth the read it won't disappoint. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!!!

I really liked Dario and Vivia's story. Dario is the newest sworn brother in the Rossi family. Though he isn't blood, he met Orlando in prison and was invited to look the family up as soon as he got out. When they needed to quickly swear in a new member they picked him, as he had already proven himself to be loyal to them. Now, he has been tasked with finding out the truth about the attempt on Marialena's life and whether her cousin, Vivia, had really been the one to set it up. The two of them end up alone at a remote, primitive, family property where he will get the truth from her- one way or the other.

Vivia Montavio has led a sheltered life, but a lonely one. She has always had anything she wanted - except her freedom. It was expected that she would be married off to strengthen the family position, and her virginity was sacred. She rebelled and took a secret lover, and that is how she found herself accused of plotting her cousin's murder and an outcast from her brothers. Now, she is alone with a ruthless man who has free rein to do whatever he needs to in order to get the truth out of her. The question is - will he believe her when she tells him?

Great addition to the series. Dario is a little easier to like than some of the actual Rossis were in their books. He may be good at his job, but he had a hard time believing that Vivia was really behind the plot to kill someone. I think they are great together. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

The first time Dario was introduced, I thought he was just a sidekick. You know! One of those characters that pop around in the background and make stuff happen. They just may never get their story told. I wasn't sure what I wanted from him as a reader, but I got more than I bargained. He almost removed Tomas (Beyond Measures) as my favorite.

Dario is definitely no stranger to Boston's underworld. He's done some criminal things in the name of survival, so it's not really a surprise that he works himself into the Rossi inner sanctum. Bossy. Dominant. Completely an Alpha. Yes, he fits right into the family, but at the same time, he's almost a walking contradiction. I think it's really because he's logic is reasonable. He understands the pressures that are placed on the family. However, at the same time, he's willing to give concessions - street smart.

Like Elise (Oath of Fidelity), Vivia Montavio knows all too well what it means to be born into a mafia family. You're allowed to live your life under certain conditions until you become useful. Like Elise, Vivia yearns to pave her own path in the world. To be free of the constraints. Like Elise, she finds herself on the wrong end of the story. Guilty until proven innocent, Vivia has to figure out where she misplaced her trust.

I do have one complaint. It didn't ruin the story for me, but there was a moment when I thought "This is it?". In my mind, it made me want to cry for the characters. All of that build up. All of that angst, and then wham, bam, and done. Felt a little rushed.

This is the sixth book in the Rossi Family Saga by Ms. Henry. It has a similar theme to the other books in this series. While it was predictable, I felt like I was coming home to family. Vivia’s transformation surprised me; how was it that she solved the mystery while an army of men failed.

I thought Dario would be a one-dimensional character, but he surprised me when his protective instincts to nurture Vivia took over his need to punish her. He demanded her complete submission making her melt in a puddle of goo. He went from one extreme to another, swinging from treating Vivia harshly to being tender and loving.I was shocked that Dario was capable of such tenderness.

I felt sorry for Vivia, who was starved for affection, whose unwise choices had far-reaching consequences. She gave her prized possession away, seeking what she thought was love. All the evidence pointed out that she was guilty of trying to harm her cousin, but I had my doubts. Vivian craved Dario’s approval.

The majority of the book focuses on the relationship between Dario and Vivia. It was action-packed from start to finish. The love between Dario and Vivia was not convenient, it was downright dangerous, but it was magical.

Dario is a capo for the Rossi family. Vivia is a cousin in the Monavio family. She ignored her family rules and ran off to be with a man she believed she loved. That was a terrible mistake. Since she is no longer virginal, she is no longer valuable to her family. Also, her false lover has somehow embroiled her in a plot to kill her young cousin Marialena. Vivia is shocked and appalled by these murder accusations. But, because of these allegations, her brothers have sentenced her to death. Dario believes in her innocence, and he has a plan to save her life. Will it work?

In order to save her life, Dario takes her to a well-hidden cabin deep in a forest. It is here that he sets out to question her about her possible betrayal. Does he believe in her innocence? Will his emotions take over? What will he do to keep her safe? Will he be able to protect her from her ruthless brothers?

This is an excellent story full of strong romantic connections between Dario and Vivia. I love the way he protected, cared for her and tried to plan for her future. This is a totally enthralling story.

Dario De Rocco, Head Cappo for the Rossis, is sent by Don Romeo Rossi to bring in Vivia Montavio and Grey Mullet for interrogation. They have been found guilty of plotting to assassinate Marialena Rossi, Vivia’s cousin. What should have been a simple job becomes very complicated. Dario and Vivia end up in a secluded cabin where Dario is ordered use everything necessary to get to the truth. Vivia, the younger sister in the Montavia Family is between a rock and a hard place. Whether she tells Dario the truth that she went behind her older brother Sergio’s back to date Grey or that she is unknowingly implicated in the assassination attempt, she will be dead to the Montavias. For a Mafia Princess, that is a fate worse than death.
The story is captivating as the emotional journey travels from Interrogator/Prisoner to acceptance While Dario slowly empowering Vivia, he discovers where his heart and loyalty lies.
The mystery of who is responsible for the assassination attempt, Dario and Vivia’s kidnapping and the attack on the Castle leaves the reader in anticipation and suspense.

I really enjoyed Dario and Vivia’s story.
Dario fascinated me from the moment Ms. Henry gave us a glimpse of him the previous book.
He’s the quiet silent type, loyal to the bone.
Confident in himself, his abilities and his decisions and conclusions.
So when he’s tasked to take and confine Vivia and he lays eyes on her.
He knows she’s the one for him.
But he needs to determine her quilt or innocence first.
Because nothing not even his soul mate will make him break his allegiance to the Rossi Family.
Vivia is the mafia princess of the Montavio Family.
She’s pampered and is given her hearts desires.
Except all she wants is the freedom to make her own choices.
One bad choice from her leads to effects on others and the falling of many dominos.
I liked Vivia’s strong sense of will, her determination to pick her own path and her own future.
Her family’s over protectiveness though has made her very naive.
Vivia and Dario’s story is action packed and drama filled.
It’s hot and sexy and Vivia’s defiance leads to some spanking good times 😉

Dario & Vivia Intense, Sexy, & Sinful

This story is filled with action, kidnapping, lies, betrayal, and lots of dominating moments of sheer pleasure!!

Dario has been sworn into the Rossi family and he’ll do anything to keep them safe. When a hit is placed on their sister the entire family is in an uproar! What is even more shocking is when they corner the culprits one of them is the Rossi’s cousin Vivia! They can’t believe it but all the evidence is pointing to her and her brother Sergio is between livid!

Dario is sent away with Vivia to get answers and to give the other brothers time to find any kind of evidence to prove she’s innocent. Being secluded together definitely intensifies their desires for each other but he can’t be too careful because Vivia may run!

Their story is action packed and fully of dominating and praise that is beyond spicy & oh so ext! Dario is so sexy and his control and possessiveness over Vivia is beautiful and totally hot. He will do anything for her and he proves that over and over again. Happy Reading!!

THIS was my favorite book in the series! I loved Dario and Vivia so much, I honestly wasn’t expecting to love this couple as much as I did. And I didn’t think I’d fall for Dario as much as I did. Right from the beginning I was hooked on this book, the action starts immediately and the suspense of who’s framing Vivia carries on throughout the book.
I loved how Dario’s immediate reaction is to protect Vivia even before he knows everything, and how he gets instantly jealous. I really liked his domineering side when he was questioning her! That was hot. Everything about him was sexy. He’s sworn to protect the Rossi family, but everything in him is saying Vivia is innocent and he’s so determined to prove her innocence.
This was such an amazing read and I hate knowing I have one Rossi left before I finish this incredible series.

OATH OF POSSESSION  by Jane Henry

Another Jane Henry Mafia story that pushes a lot of buttons; especially hot ones! Dario and Vivia are made for each other ... right off the bat there's chemistry and it never goes away. (And I wouldn't mind helping him fish, either.)
They are thrown together under unfortunate circumstances but work through them. Vivia is a Mafia princess, with no life of her own, in the Montavio family. When the going gets really tough, though, she is able to pull herself together and 'man up' to straighten her life out. Dario is the Rossi family interrogator whose job it is to get Vivia to confess to a crime against one of his family members.. Suffice to say, things don't go exactly as planned.

Wow! Fabulous! Dario is assigned to capture and detain for questioning Vivia, who is suspected of being an accomplice in a plot to harm Marialena, one of the Rossi siblings. Suddenly they are attacked by unknown killers and barely escape. Long story short, the two of them are alone in a rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere. Dario is to interrogate her using whatever means necessary. What a fate!! Dario can't wait to torture her, and Vivia doesn't know what she wants, to escape or be ravished by the sexiest man alive! Oh, and the characters! Fantastic! And the angsty situation, everyone wants to kill Vivia, except Dario. He is the epitome of gorgeous protective alpha male. Absolutely loved this episode of a marvelous series. You gotta read this!!

Vivia is accused of being part of plot to unalive her cousin. Her family sends in Dario to interrogate her and find out who was involved and if Vivia is guilty. Dario used some very unconventional methods to get answers from Vivia and let’s just say things got a little 🥵.

I have loved this series but this one was my least favorite of the series. It was still a good read being four stars but it had a few areas where I got a bit bored. That being said it was still worth the read. This series has been a favorite of mine so my standards for this one were quite high.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to read this ARC, and I was powerless to stop reading, once I started.

There is soo much to love in this one!
Dario is as much a Rossi as he can be (without the DNA), and I appreciated the brotherhood of these guys. When it all starts coming undone, they make sure he's protected...especially Romeo.

Vivia is not given much respect in the Montavio family. She makes choices that put her in a terrible position, and until she and Dario figure things out, it's tough! And SUPER steamy!
(whew!!)😁🔥🔥😳🔥🔥😁
I LOVED how this ended for her. A great HEA!

I really enjoyed this read. This author consistently provides engaging and entertaining stories that are easy to read and enjoy. But, I'm serious...it's really hard to stop flipping these pages. Plan your time accordingly.

For the best reading experience, you should have already enjoyed the previous stories in this series. Knowing those characters and stories will make this soo much better!!
