Framed for murder. Sentenced to the Realm of Monsters. Will I ever find my way back home?
I’m having the best steamy fantasy when a SWAT team bursts into my apartment and arrests me.
Accused of a crime I didn’t commit, framed by a faceless man, I get sentenced to life in prison. Soon, I discover it’s all a ploy to make me disappear and use me for a monstrous experiment.
The next thing I know, I’m placed inside a machine and transported to another realm, a strange place where nothing is as it seems, a place three awful monsters inhabit.
Sawyer. Branson. Lucius.
They’re surprised to find a woman in their midst. For a long time, it’s been only them. They think there is no escape and want to hold me to their whims.
Whims that pull me toward them and make me crave the limitless pleasure they have to offer.
But I can’t lose sight of my need for revenge and longing to go home, even if these monsters have opened up a world of gratification like no other.
As secrets are revealed, I must mold the realm and the monsters to my will, but what if I succumb to their urge to fulfill my every desire? What if I can’t regain the freedom I also crave?

REALM OF MONSTERS is a steamy STANDALONE. A kickass FMC. Three possessive monsters. Many heated, consensual scenes.
I'm all for smut w no plot but the smut was okay at best. also, this was v weird -and not in a good way-, I can't explain in words but it was fucking weird
3.3 stars. So this was interesting. The concept was something I’ve truly never seen before, and I really enjoyed the idea of it. The execution though…
It started out pretty strong. I liked the mystery and the strangeness of it all. And the smut came out pretty quickly, which I enjoyed.
But the characters never really felt fully connected to me. We never got to see the conversation where the FMC told the guys her story. We never got to see them express their feelings for each other. We never got a group activity. They always went off to separate spaces when things started happening. Oh, and after we got time with each of the guys it was fade-to-black scenes from there. So the whole last quarter of the book was fade to black.
Also. When they figured things out thing just completely shifted without explanation or conclusion. Suddenly Maddison was just able to do shit and her whole personality shifted along with her knowledge.
And then it was basically over.
This was just weird man. I thought it was cool, but the execution and conclusion needed some work for me.
If all you want is smut...this book is 80% that with the "plot" just an excuse and a way to provide a little context to it. I really wanted to like it, but I just expected more. The idea was interesting and if there was more effort put into the actual plot instead of it being all smut, I think I could've enjoyed it, unfortunately I was disappointed.
I really am having a hard time writing & rating this review. There are some good points to the story but more bad. I almost quit a few times, but tried to hang in there. After finishing, I wish I hadn't bothered with this book, I felt like I wasted my time. The plot is sort of all over the place, with a ton of plot holes and things that just didn't work for the story. I never felt a emotional connection with the RH, this felt like it was more all about the sexcapades they were having in the other dimension. The characters are just flat. I never really could tell the guys apart unless I caught a description (like the one guy was sort of tigerish, with stripes and a cat tongue, another was black and demon like with horns and tail, etc). I really didn't grasp any personalities for any of the 4 in the group of main characters. I also didn't get where I liked them or really cared, in the end, I continued to read cause I wanted to see how they broke from the "hell" they were placed in. The resolution seemed rushed and wasn't really explained enough for me, or even for the 3 guys to understand her sudden abilities to be used in "real world" earth. It's all just mumbo-jumbo in the description, even with what she does for her revenge. I definitely won't read more from this author.
Realm of Monsters by Eve Roxx is a monster reverse harem standalone published by the author under a new pen name. The story is about Madison and her love interests in an unknown realm. It releases on 25th May 2022.
The story is a paranormal reverse harem except it could be a sci-fi reverse harem just as easily. The author focuses on the character instead of the bigger picture, giving the readers a limited perspective that they will still love.
Madison was badass, but I think her police training was very under-utilised. The author was more focussed on the present of her life so this can be explainable. The love interests were kind of predictable. Sawyer was the leader; Branson was an almost-jock and Lucius was the sweet, emotional one.
It is a good start for the author, whose real name I still don’t know. I just received an email for the chance to review an interesting book and I took it without a second thought because I felt I would not be disappointed.
Readers, read this book for the story, the magic and the spice. Thank me later.
I loved this story it was an interesting take on a murder mystery, who-done-it type story mixed with a whole lot of erotic romance. Madison is the tough police detective that is false in-prisoned for the murder of her boss but before she's taken to prison she ends up sent to a whole new world where she meets three monsters. But are they really monsters or are they trapped like her. Who trapped them? How to do they get back? Does she even want to go back? What happens if they do get back? I devoured this book in one sitting. And I definitely have my eye out for what Eve Roxx has next up her sleeves.
Well, hot damn, I was not prepared for how quickly this book would get hot and heavy, but shit, I am so here for it!🥵🔥 Make no mistake folks, this book is erotic. At first I thought the actual story was going to take a complete backseat to the heat, but boy was I wrong. The concept was clever and intriguing, and Eve Roxx just gave us enough to make us wonder and keep us hooked throughout. Needless to say, I inhaled this book in one sitting🙌 My one and only grumble is that it simply ended too quickly😩😂 Well played Eve Roxx, I will 100% be reading more from you in future👏
I received an advance copy for free through bookfunnel in exchange of an honest review. I'm rating this book 3 stars because the steam was on point. This book might have worked better as a duet to give more opportunity for world building. It felt like it had trouble deciding whether it was sci-fi or paranormal. The writing was good if a bit rushed. There was opportunity to expand on the world and not rush the climax in the last 2 chapters. I still liked it and recommend it if you want an easy read with lots of steam.
This was a really good book! I loved all the characters. from the wrongly accused Madison, to the frustrated and unsure Sawyer, Branson and Lucius. I enjoyed how much they opened up to each other and became a stronger unit because of it. Also loved the end and their revenge was sweet!
This book full of hot and delicious se%. Is an easy read with everyone trying to get back to there lives that was stolen from them sent to another realm. Julie of a r c anonymous.
But I did like the ride what a fun book. Though wouldn’t more people but Dr sneed have been doing this research I hope she is monitoring that whole operation
The story was kind of generic but interesting. The author knows how to write steamy and spicy stories! This was a bit of a struggle yo get through at times, but I stuck with it to a somewhat anticlimactic end. Warnings: RH, Sex
First of all I love this book! The main characters are all uniquely special in there own way. The storyline is very well written and I will recommend to my book loving friends and family 😉💖
I really lived this story!! The plot was actually super interesting and very out if the box, and the characters were very well written and had lovely chemistry. My only negative point towards it was by around chapter 35 it got somewhat confusing, like I'm still somewhat confused as to how they got there... even with the explanation, it still seems like they were grasping at straws to try and make it make sense.
Otherwise, really well written and I'm a fan if it
this book was incredible, but i feel like the idea got lost somewhere throughout. it was super cute, smut was top tier for sure. was super happy that madison had her abilities when they got back
