For your crimes today
Your first sons will pay
As long as they shall remember,
I curse them with this ember
From adulthood until they find the fountain
The three must find a maiden
They will be tied to your boat
Every night it will pull them back to float

KIAN, AXEL, ZEB
In the year 1801, the quest for the fabled fountain of youth became a quest of greed.
That sealed the fate of their children for over two centuries while they waited to be freed.
For as long as they can remember, their time on land has been limited.
As the days stretched to centuries, they became kindred.
Finding little joy along the way, while hiding from history.
Everything changes when one loses his memory.

CORA
Magic is only half of who I am.
I never realized my life was a sham.
Three men have me question everything
My body is finally awakening
Their secrets may be our undoing
Kian says he can trust me, that he has a feeling
While their lies aren’t the only thing creeping
My own secrets may be a blessing or our very own curse

Let me start off by saying I was so excited to read this book. It seemed to check all the boxes pirates, mermaids, RH, bondage, MM, age gap, fated mates, and shifters. While all of these things were present, very little of it was done well.

But it turns out this book was not for me. I didn’t like a single character. Cora was a hypocrite, Zeb was a selfish asshole who for 50 years wouldn’t tell Axel he loved him but less than one week with Cora he is professing his love. Axel was so mad at Zeb for dropping him like a hot potato to pursue Cora and yet he couldn’t keep his hands off her either. Both of them were fine excluding Kian from activities including magic when he had amnesia. Just left him in front of the TV and went off to have a grand old time with everyone else. Kian was homophobic. Zeb gets upset and storms off. Alex goes after him and then this was said between Kian and his tiger. “You know what that means, huh? Sex. Finn whispers, disgust lacing his words.”

Was this book spicy? Yes, but not in a good or healthy way. The day after some rough sex with Zeb, Axel asked for no pain the next time they were intimate. Zeb said he couldn’t promise that he wouldn’t hurt him. It wasn’t sexy, it was a clear inability to control himself and respect his partner’s wishes.

The sexual acts seemed to escalate quickly with little to no preparation. Cora went from not knowing anal was an option to double penetration in minutes. They went from breath play and DP to knife and blood play seemingly out of nowhere, all with a woman with admittedly very little sexual experience.

Please don’t think I just don’t like these types of scenes. I love this type of play, and have read many books with it.

Ship Wrecked, the first book in the Cursed Pirates duet by S.A. Michelle is a sexy magical pirate shifter, age gap, fated mate RH that is a definite must read for anyone that loves a little blood, bondage and dominance in their romance!

Our beautiful FMC Cora manages a B&B in a quaint little magical town on the coast of Louisiana and has a unique history/ancestry herself which resulted in her having special powers of her own and unique friends to call her own. Quite content with the quiet life she has created for herself, Cora suddenly finds herself thrust into a new life when everything changes after a chance encounter with a tiger, and those that know him, resulting in her world being turned upside down…

Kian, Zeb, and Axel meanwhile are cursed pirate shifters who are bound to their ship until they happens to find the one single maiden that can love them all and help release them from the curse put on them over two centuries ago for wrongdoings of their parents..as long as they can remember. However, after one is injured during a vicious storm one night and loses his memory, fate steps in and provides them the chance they’ve all been needing.

I absolutely loved how Michelle had such a unique spin on this supernatural world of cursed shifters and the way they live, and how diverse everything was. All the characters beautifully complimented each other, and the mystery, intrigue and steamy spice were absolute perfection! I loved how each of Cora’s men were unique in their approach to her and the curse, and loved the mm addition as well! And the side characters were just as fabulously created as the MCs and I hope for more from them too!

Overall if you love a good rh pirate insta love romance that’s packed full of all magical/supernatural things such as curses, fated mates, shifters, mermaids, dragons, witches and everything else imaginable then this is the one for you! And that ending?!? I need more stat!

What an amazing book from S.A. Michelle! This storyline is unlike anything that I have read before and kept me hooked right from the start. Who wouldn't be excited to read about pirates, curses, and witches with some hot scenes to go with them!

Axel, Kian, and Zeb are cursed to their ship at night because of something their fathers did over 200 years ago. They have been trying for 200 years to break the curse when they meet Cora. There is instant chemistry between all of them that leads to some pretty steamy scenes including a little M/M. I really like Axel and Kian, but I think Axel might be my favorite right now. His character just jumped off the pages and pulled on my heartstrings! I initially did not care for Zeb, but with Cora we are able to see a new side of him that I really ended up enjoying. Cora is surrounded by magic and has a solid group of friends, but has never been able to find love. Seeing her fall for all three guys was great because she opened herself up to so much and helped all of them as well.

Initially going into the book, I thought the plot was going to be solely focused on Cora, Axel, Kian, and Zeb. There is definitely more to the story that provides some unexpected twists and a cliffhanger that left me flipping through the book because I couldn't believe that is where S.A. Michelle was leaving us! I finished the book a bit heartbroken and in suspense so I can't wait for the second book to come out!!!

Omg the ups and downs this book takes you on is insane. I never knew if I wanted to throw my phone or hold it closer to me. The bond that forms between Zeb and Axel and Cora is unbelievable. Kian was so amazing with Cora throughout all his issues in the book and then his tender love and care for Cora I was for sure he was going to break the curse first and poor Kian still hasn’t broken the curse. Now let’s talk about the ending of this book omg shut the front door Cora is gone the guys are back stuck on the ship at in with the curse and Trish and Cora are both in some prison cell can someone come save me from my misery please I can’t any more of this! I’m in need of the next book like yesterday please!!!!

Ship Wrecked was an amazing read!
The book definitely grabbed my attention from the start to the end. The storyline was enchanting with pirates, curses and fated mates. Then there is the different supernatural characters. Cat shifters, mermaids, dragon and a pegasus are a few. This was an incredible story that also has a bit mystery in it. I definitely can’t wait to see what happens next!

I don't know if I want to be Cora or if I want Cora... Either way she's an absolute babe!!!! Killer personality, Goddess curves and the temper of a cornered cat. She takes no crap and says what she feels.
Although when 3 mysterious men barge into her life she falters slightly but your brain would be mush if Kian, Axel and Zeb were consuming your thoughts and fogging your ability to think clearly.

Secrets are revealed and newly built bridges tested as Cora gets to know these men. When the word mate gets thrown around it takes a push from her besties to make her walk the plank and admit that she doesn't have one mate but three!? Crazy... Or is it? Will things work out for these lovable characters or will everything take a William Shakespeare dive into the abyss? Well after the betrayal of that cliffhanger we will have to wait and see.
Can't wait for book two and seeing what is in store for everyone!

Spicy, what book set in Louisiana would be complete without all it's spices and seasonings? Perfectly spiced without it being overbearing, It leaves you just the amount of flustered.

Warning! As with S.A Michelle's other books her love for the culinary world shines through so if you are like me make sure you have snacks ready because this woman doesn't just make you hungry for her characters and plot.

I love a good mermaid book! Throw in a curse, lost treasure, and shifters and I'm hooked.

Ship Wrecked is book one of The Cursed Pirates Duet, and centers around Cora, Kian, Axel, and Zeb. The three men are cursed, thanks to the sins of their father, and are on the hunt for lost treasure. However, they need to find their mate in order to help find what they're looking for. Cora, a mermaid and witch who runs her own B&B off the coast of Louisiana, is happy with her life, and spending time with her great friends Trish, and Doc.

When Kian, Axel, and Zeb are drawn to Louisiana, everything changes. Not only are they cursed, but they are shifters: Kian, a white tiger shifter, Axel, a jaguar shifter, and Zeb, a cheetah shifter. They can only come to shore during the day, being pulled back to their ship at night. When a terrible storm causes Kian to fall overboard and lose his memories, Cora is there to help him. Soon they all meet, but not everything goes smoothly. When lies are brought to light and true feelings are confessed, it causes tension between the group. All while someone is working against them, to get the treasure they're after.

This book was a wild ride, and I have so many questions after the ending. I cannot wait for book 2 to find out more!!

**ARC Review**
I was pleasantly surprised by this book! The blurb intrigued me, but the more I read the more I was thrown into this world!

Kain, Axel & Zeb are all so different and yet they work together like they have been together forever. Maybe because they have! 200 years sure makes a bond like no other. Cora, a sweet and sassy witch hybrid that plus so much more out of these men “her mates”! I love seeing their characters and relationships form through the book.

I should have expected more considering they were “cursed” but reading into it more I was thrown with magic and mermaids and so many other magical creatures. I was not prepared! But that’s one of the reasons I go into books “blind”.

This book was amazing! And the cliffy! I’m so heartbroken! Damn, I’m itching more the next book!

read this book or walk the plank

I have to say this is my first mermaid shifter read and I’m obsessed. I loved everything about this book. The story, flows so well and makes it hard to put down. Then you have the characters. I loved all of them so much. Well expect one but that’s because they are evil and not in a hot way.

Cora is such a great fmc. She is just an everyday girl and only a few people know her secret identity. The guys are also all great. But I do have to say Kian is my favorite. I couldn’t get enough of him and his possessiveness especially in the bedroom. I’m so excited for book two. That cliffhangers was a double whammy and my heart needs it to be fixed asap!

I love this book!!!

Ship Wrecked is book #1 in The Cursed Pirates duet. Its a paranormal reverse harem.

I was absolutely hooked on this story!!!

Kian, Zeb and Axel are cursed to be stuck on their ship every night due to something their fathers did. Its been 200 years and they are still trying to break the curse by finding the chalice. Then, they meet Cora, a sweet little witch/mermaid. They have an instant connection, and can't stay away from each other.

But, there is someone that is out to destroy them and everything they are building.

I couldn't put this book down!! I love Cora and all 3 guys, all the friends are awesome and the story has me so ready for book #2!!!

SA Michelle is AMAZING!!!!

Ok, first off, let’s just say I went for this book because pirates. And RH. I mean, if it’s RH, then you know me, I’m in. And it so much more than I expected. The pirates are cursed, tethered to their ship at night, but during the day they’re just mild mannered businessmen. The answer to their curse after 200 long years? Enter Cora. A mermaid. There’s so much happening here that all I have to say is that you won’t be disappointed, it’s got mystery and intrigue and a good helping of the steamy scenes along with MM. and I gotta say…Kian. He’s a kinky guy and I am here for it!! This only book 1 and it just feels like book 2 is gonna be epic!

This book was very good. It had a great backstory given and progressed well. I’d rate it a 4.5/5, The only thing I really didn’t like is where it ended. It’s a cliffhanger but a very jarring cliffhanger in my opinion. I didn’t think I’d be into a book with pirates but the magical/paranormal aspect was great that I forgot that the boys were technically pirates. I can’t wait to see where this series goes.

Curses, lost treasure, pirates, secrets, mystery, and more?! Count me in! It was a refreshing break from all the dark romance I read, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I got so lost in this paranormal romance that it was hard to pull myself back to reality. But, c’mon, pirates, witches, mermaids, shifters, pegasus, and more – who wants to leave that story?!

Cora is awesome - she’s a take-no-sh*t, strong-willed FMC, and I couldn’t have asked for a better leading lady for this story. Cora is basically minding her business when she notices some trespassers on her land. She doesn’t think much of it until she meets the three men who’ve appeared in her small town who are keeping secrets. Her small-town life is turned upside down by these mysterious strangers – Zeb, Axel, and Kian. Little does she know they are cursed to return to their ship every night. They are sweet and have some sort of connection to Cora. It’s interesting to watch as their relationships grow.

I loved everything thing about it. OK, maybe not the cliffy – but really, it’s great. It’s an amazing read. The worldbuilding is excellent, there’s a fun take on shifters and mates, lost treasure, and enough mystery surrounding it all that it will hook you from the beginning. The writing is excellent, I will definitely be checking out other books by SA after reading this one. If you need a break from reality, come get lost in this mysterious, paranormal story.

At first I couldn't get into it, but soon when things started happening I couldn't flip the pages fast enough to read it, and I can definitely say that I need that 2nd book. Cora runs a B and B on the island and where there's magic aplenty as she has special powers. She meets these 3 guy's Kian, Axel, Zeb who she finds out later are shifters, she feels some kind of spark anytime they touch so do they, and they realize she's their mate they've been searching for to break the curse as they have a secret. I'm not saying you'll just have to one click it and find out for yourself.

The story has all the elements, pnr, curses, pirates, mermaids, RH, MM, friendships.

I love the idea of this story and I loved plot as well. There were some things I didn't like, like her moaning everytime, and her being inexperienced in the horizontal tango to bl**d play. But that sums up my irritations.

The story is good, the anonymous player, bolt, the mysteries around them, the chalice, and the curse.

I will definitely read book 2!

What is not to love about this book? Pirates, mermaids, magic, shifters, curses, mystery….SIGN ME UP!!

Ship Wrecked was an awesome start of the Cursed Pirates duet. The idea to have pirates and shifters and magic all in one is so unique, I was so enamored with the plot! It follows Cora, who looks like Goth Barbie but is super sweet and drives a pink Jeep. She also happens to be a witch and a mermaid. Can I just be her, please?! Especially after she meets mouthwatering shifters Kian, Axel, and Zebedeo. These three men have a secret though - due to a curse that was placed on their fathers, they are forced to roam the earth for centuries, only being able to be on land during the day time, looking for their mate and the fountain of youth. Only once they find these two things, will the curse be broken. And they may have just found one of these things in Cora….

This book is fast paced and steamy, sweet, funny and intriguing! I am definitely looking forward to book 2!

In this book we meet Cora and her best friends Doc and Trish. We also meet her three mates Kian, Zebedo and Axel. Cora’s family has guarded the chalice or fountain of line for years. Cora actually wears it on a necklace around her neck. She meets Kian when he falls on the ship and hits his head. Zebedo and Axel show up when they learn he is at her house The guys don’t tell her that they are cursed and that the only way they can break it is to find their mate and the chalice. They finally let her know she is they’re mates do they begin to get to know each other. Of course nothing runs smoothly as there is someone out there that wants the chalice for themselves. This was such a good book and I can’t wait to see what happens in Book 2

Cursed Love

S. A. Michelle’s first book in her ‘Cursed Pirates’ series is absolutely fantastic. Every time I read one of her books it just blows my mind away and leaves me screaming NO! Don’t leave me like this!!! This story has it all with pirates, witches, shifters and mermaids. And of course there is a curse that needs to be broken. This book has plenty of exciting adventure, mystery, suspense and steamy situations that are so riveting that I couldn’t put it down until the very last page. I can’t wait to see what the next torturous events the author has in store for us. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!

This took me back to my first arc (which was also about pirates).

But this was just wow.

It took me several days before I could write this review.

This book had ups and downs, it is just insane. Next to that there are secrests.

This storyline contains pirates, curses but also fated mates. But next to that there are also different kinds of supernatural characters. (Mermaids, cat shifters, Pegasus and more).

This story was not only incredible but it also had a dash of mystery (which I really appreciated)

Cora has a killer personality, looks like a goddess and has a temper. Like a true MC she takes no sh!t and speaks her truth.

Then there are 3 mysterious men that enter her life.

Zeb, Kian and Axel. Who are cursed and not so upfront with Cora.

I want the second one, cause this was amazing.

And not to forget the spice....

This book sucked me right in.
I have never read a book with pirates so I was super excited for this one and it did not disappoint!!

Cora is a really strong character which I love, not a damsel but not too tough that she makes stupid decisions. Her guys were exactly what she needed in her life. The curse was an interesting twist, and I loved seeing how it all played out.
The guys were easy for me to love. They all brought something different to Cora’s life and in turn they make a whole. Their character development throughout the book was perfect.

In with all the action there was some delicious spice with some added mm. The other shifters in the book was a fun twist, not only do you have pirates and witches you’ve got quite a few different shifters thrown into the mix to add an additional layer of interesting to the book.

This was a great read and I can’t wait for the next one.

A unique story with danger, angst, a quirky and lovely Cora, three amazing mates- Kian, Zeb and Axel, a quest several centuries old, a curse, shifters, plot twists and love. Such Steamy sexy love that might need a fan to cool down. Whew. The book ends in a cliffhanger so I'm hoping the next book is ready soon. My first book from this author and I am very impressed. Her character development and world building draw you into the story and you forget all that is happening around you. A perfect getaway, just be sure you have enough time set aside to enjoy.

A pirate book?! yes pleaseee!

Loved this so so much! The beginning backstory is brutal but sets the stage for the future events. There are so many great shifters and magical peeps and where can I get my very own Zeb ?! 😍🥵 So hot and all of the guys are just perfect! Such a unique story and I seriously can’t wait to see how it ends. Also, wondering if there is potential for some shared world stories coming about her besties? We shall see!

Oh. My. Lawd. This book totally blew my mind, I have to say I was not expecting this book to move in the directions that it did. I also like the more unique take on shifters and the way supernaturals live. I really like all of the guys and how they are all dealing with their curse in different ways and that they each have a unique relationship with Cora. I also really like the mystery going on with Bolt and Anonymous and I am very excited to see who they are and what exactly they need Cora and the fountain for.
