A Master&#x27;s Destiny

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I so enjoyed this book. It gives us a glimpse into Sirs history and shows us his time as a student at the training center. We get to see how Sir is cool and calm under pressure and how he is so hard on himself.
Sir gets tested in the 6 weeks he is at the training center. Not only by the instructors but by classmates and even the submissive. As always, he has his friends Anderson, Durov and even Samantha that help him through things that are happening. There were so many amazing scenes in this story inside the training center and outside of it also. My heart went out to Sir in a few scenes but so glad he was able to rise above them and showed us what a spectacular man he is by either how he reacted to the situation or rectified it.
I don’t want to go into details about this book because it was such an amazing journey that I feel if you have read the past Brie books you will absolute love this one and I want to make sure you get to soak in the experience as I did.

Tingles! If I had to describe this book in one word, it would definitely be “tingles”.

I know almost everyone hated it when Star Wars did the ‘episodes’ to tell the back stories but I can’t see anyone hating this adventure back into Sir Davis’ time at the Dominant Training Centre. Well at least I know I didn’t. Getting a glimpse at what he was like as a less-experienced Dom had me falling even more in love with him. His struggles with self-confidence is such a departure from the man we see in the Brie series, it had me feeling all the feels from sadness with his struggles to giddy pride with his successes.

The great thing about this story is that even if you haven’t read the Brie’s Submission series you can still get into this book and trust me when I say it will have you wanting to read all the books! (I may have already decided I’m going to re-read the entire Brie series while I wait for the next installment).

Red knows how to write a lusty scene that will have you squirming in your seat and fanning your face for relief and this book was no exception!
“Reach down and feel the two of us inside you”… umm OK!!! 🤤

One of the things I love about these books is that it’s like getting an education at the same time as being entertained. I came into Red Phoenix’s books with some experience in the BDSM world but these books have opened up a whole new world for me that I’m itching to explore.

Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ outta 5 for me on this one!

'A Master's Destiny' by Red Phoenix has been a long time coming and Sir's storyline was certainly worth the wait. I think what I love most about Ms. Phoenix's books is the fact her character's personalities, flaws, highs, and lows are so true to form, so relatable, and so worthy of the emotions they evoke from me as a reader that I continue to fall into their lives as if I've received a letter from an old friend. It was a treasure to be sure when Sir had shared how he went from a Dom who thought he excelled to a man who needed to recognize his mistakes and learn to not only take full responsibility for them but to use them as a stepping stone in order to grow and incorporate them into making him, not only a better person but a better Dom. Of course, you know Brad and Ryktar had to be there to share those moments which only showed the comradery and the deepening of their friendship. This was an excellent addition to a storyline I've already become vested in.

After reading A Master's Destiny I can say enjoyed reading more about Thane’s past and how he came to be who he is, his destiny. There was an unexpected turn with the characters as the story unfolded but it helped make him stronger. Didn’t enjoy his interaction with his beast of a mother but that’s part of his story too. Going back to read the Brie stories from the beginning, this addition will give new insight on some things. This was a welcome addition to the story of Thane and Brie. This is a cracking book that gives you an insight into the true reality of who Sir Davis really is. I’ve really enjoyed all of Red Phoenix books and can highly recommend them. Great to loose yourself in the world of BDSM.

A Master's Destiny by Red Phoenix is My personal New Favorite Prequel to a beloved series!

In this new story Thane Davis aka Sir Davis is a driven young man just starting on his way to his life goal of major career success. He thrives on working hard experiencing new things and soaking up all the knowledge of the things that Sparks his interest in life. Whether it's career oriented or personal he is a perfectionist and his goal is to be the best that he can be. He doesn't carry himself in an arrogant and pompous way but he carries himself with pride and confidence that can sometimes be perceived by more insecure people as arrogant.

Thane is on a journey to learn how to be a better dominant and a productive member in the BDSM community. He is also determined to learn all the different areas of the lifestyle he is drawn to. First day of Training, we've read that line before, and it definitely it caught our attention. This book was no different. Thane embarks on his journey to achieve a better grasp on what it is to be a dominant. He's like a moth to a flame wanting to soak up everything. He puts 100% of himself into the dominant training course at the world-renowned submissive training center.

A Master's Destiny takes us on the journey with Thane and we see how far he's come from then to now when he is with Brie. We see he went through his own trials and tribulations of sabotage and self-doubt.
He struggled with uncertainty of whether he was hearing his calling of being a dominant right.

Throughout the whole story characters from the Brie's Submission series come to us. We have Master Anderson, Rytsar, Tono and even Samantha. The characters we love rally around Thane at one time or another and help and support him through his struggles.

I always love reading Red Phoenix's work. This book is probably one of the most eye-opening ones that I have ever experienced. To see him go through everything that he does to get to the point where he is now, a master of domination was a Journey that had me enthralled from page one.

Red Phoenix is a goddess. She writes some of the most Lusty drool worthy scenes and she also writes some of the most heartwarming and eye-opening scenes, especially when it comes to matters of the heart with friendship and self-assurance. Red also can throw in the comedy too. I laughed so many times with the banter between the Best Friends/Brothers Rytsar and Thane. One of my favorite feeling things while reading is being able to be so invested in a story and burst out into laughter out loud because the author has just made you a part of the world they've created. I love it and Red does it remarkably well.

Reading A Master's Destiny has been a phenomenal experience. Just when you think you know how Thane and the other dominance we all know and love came to be, we are taken in a whole new Direction and it will absolutely blow your mind.

This is truly a MUST Read!

Red, you're absolutely brilliant at what you do. Bringing us into your world and giving us a glimpse of what your muses inspire within you is a joy to us all. Thank you for giving us an incredible world to escape to and enjoy.

A Master’s Destiny is a wonderful story of Thad Davis and his formal entrance/training into the BDSM world. So that being said, there is no Bree in this story. Every time he participated in a practicum, I was so hoping Bree would appear but I had to remind myself this was before he met Bree at the shop his uncle worked at once she finished college.

During Thad’s training, I feel that he discovered so much about himself during this time. This quote really sums it up for me, “I believe in the power of touch. Whether it be with your fingers, the soft petals of a rose, or a strand of pearls, I feel touch is often overlooked as a skill set.”

Anderson and Rytsar are also featured in this story. The Chapter “Three-way Tie” really spoke to me!! Thanks so much, Red. So, hold on tight!!

A Master's Destiny by Red Phoenix

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

I was so excited for this book. Since we all lived the training center with Bree I thought this was a great addition to the series. I mean seeing Sir going through his training before he became “The Head Master” we all fell in love with…sigh…yes it was perfection in my book.
We all look as Thane/Sir as the perfect Master right? Well in this book we seen his first steps into being the Master he is NOW. We see him stumble. We see him doubt himself. We see a very unsure dominant. Which blew my mind because Thane is not an unsure dominant.
I was in heaven seeing him make friends in class much like Bree did years later. I would love to see Kat again and even Surfer Boy. I wonder if they will make an appearance in the Bree books since they are new characters we all enjoyed.
I was in heaven seeing the dominant we know and love being excited watching the Masters he trained with. He was so inquisitive and wanted to learn everything he could learn. Seeing the friendship with Tono and know where it goes in the future made my heart sing.
Of course, no book is complete with out Master Anderson and Rytsar joining in the shenanigans. Their growth as characters has been a joy to watch as well.
There was only one thing I felt was missing in the *Chef kiss* amazing story…the bidding ceremony. I remember it fondly in Bree’s book. Otherwise, I think this book is just what we needed and wanted to see of our Sir learning and growing in to the man Bree captures.

Thane is eager to learn and expand his scope of domination, honouring the submission of many while perfecting his art. What he learns during the six-week course is so much more than he could ever have imagined.

From rival students to look-a-like subs, to nefarious plots, and get wrenching injuries, Thane battles his way through a course that will challenge him both as a dominant and a man, challenging him to not only expand his beliefs and skills as a dominant but to look at the fundamental core of who he is and who he plans to be. But rest assured, although our Thane likes to believe he must tackle the world alone, he's accompanied every step of the way by his closest friends and the Dom School mentors.

On a side note, our Red touches on everyone's favourite Domme Samantha and the aftermath of the worst mistake of her life, which is interesting and very deep and full of meaning and truth. Add to that the parallels between Sir's time as a student with Brie's in future years under his very own tutelage and we have a book that is, as always with Red and this series, heartfelt, touching, very well thought, and oh so steamy as Sir Davis strides towards his destiny.

The latest from our Red is absolutely well worth a download - but then is anything she's written not? You all know, I love Red and her words mean a whole lot more to me than a simple story on paper.

Oh, and look out for cowboys and men in sweatpants coming to a beach near you...

The Power of Sir

Sir's journey isn't a walk in the park. Even for a man who prides himself on his pursuit of knowledge and expertise, he's challenged during his six weeks at the Training Center. He is confronted with hostility, sabotage, and personal demons and trials. But his struggle to overcome the trauma of his past, to become the dominant we know in Red Phoenix's last book, Whispered Promises, this is where he gains the foundation that enables him to help heal the love of his life.

We meet new trainers, and get a taste of the mysterious Master Nosh! There's even a visit from our favorite flogging master, Marquis Gray. I love the look into the very secretive Dominant Training Program. The dominants that run those panels? - there are some very interesting characters and rich stories to be found there (Laird, I'm looking at you!).

As serious as Sir is, he has brothers of the heart that balance him. Rytsar is there to support Sir, as is Brad. Sir really wouldn't be who he is without them, nor would his very dry sense of humor. Tono and Samantha also make an appearance, their friendship just as important to Sir. And while there are no Lea jokes, we may have some practical jokes from our favorite jokester!

One of the things I love about this entire series is that Red Phoenix always gives us a lesson we can learn, whether it's about the BDSM lifestyle, or something that touches us on a personal level. Her words speak to us, and her characters bring those lessons home. I believe you'll find that to be very true in Sir's book. And the best thing is, there are several years ahead before Sir meets Brie. Hopefully Red will give us more of these years of LBB - Life Before Brie.

A Master’s Destiny follows Sir Thane Davis as he attends the Dominant Training class at the world-renowned Training Center. Introduced to BDSM while in college, he is self taught but wanting to learn as much as possible and he can’t pass up the opportunity to learn from the best trainers.

There are many parallels between his training as a dominant and Brie’s training as a submissive. He has his own version of a nemesis in his class and it is interesting to see how he deals with the situation. Several times Sir is given advice by his trainers that helps him to grow and many years later, he gives the same advice to Brie.

I enjoy learning more about the past of Sir, Rytsar and Master Anderson. It is good to see how they how they have grown and changed through the years and handled those unexpected situations that life has thrown their way. Mater Anderson visits Sir and once again shows him that he does not have to face everything in life alone, he has friends to support and help him. The day they spend at the beach is so much fun. Rytsar has quite the graduation gift for Sir at the end of his training.

I enjoyed Mr Gallant’s counterpart at the Dominant Training Center and how Sir responds to the teaching methods used. I also enjoyed learning more about Master Nosh since he has been such a quiet character in the books he has been in so far. I can definitely see how his leadership influenced Sir.

This is a wonderful addition to the Brie series. It adds so much depth to the characters and has some fun scenes as well as some really hot scenes that Red is so good at writing.

Hooked and happy...

Another fantastic addition to this incredible prequel series from Red Phoenix and I was hooked right from the first paragraph. A Master's Destiny is based in the world of the Submissive Training Center but it follows our favourite Doms before they became the experts we know and lust over. As usual these books just get better and better.

Thane is on a journey to learn how to be a better dominant and a productive member in the BDSM community. He is determined to learn and master all the different areas of the lifestyle he is drawn to. He gives his all to the Dominant Training Course at the world-renowned Submissive Training Center, but he's not alone in his studies. As promised, characters from the Brie's Submission series cameo to help Thane become the fully-formed Dom we love. He's joined by Master Anderson, Rytsar, Tono and Samantha who rally around Thane at one time or another and support him through his training.

There were so many wonderful moments in this book that I just couldn't put it down. It's such a treat getting to read about what contributed to these young Masters' journeys and what shaped their paths. I can't wait to see what these guys get up to next and I'm sure it'll be a wild ride.

Master’s Destiny takes us to the beginning of Thane Davis formal training at the Dominate School for a six-week course. He’s been a Dom for a few years learning alongside Anton Durvo and Brad Anderson his best friends from college. I really enjoyed seeing Thane aka Sir as a Dom. He really wanted to learn everything the Dom school had to offer, and he did. Each student was placed in awkward situations to see how they handled themselves. Thane has some history of trauma to overcome to become to a better dominate and he was put to the test certain scenes. The training brings out his true potential especially the power of touch and how he connects with his submissive. I love the interaction between the teachers and the students, especially how Sir has a little trouble with a couple of students. He handles the situations during class by himself, he figures out what’s really been happening without being a snitch to the teachers until he has evidence. It’s wonderful to see Durvo and Brad and how they are doing at this stage in their lives too. It’s the three amigos until the end! I have voluntarily read and review this story into the Master’s past, how he began his formal training and eventually becomes a training teacher.

Red Phoenix has made another masterpiece! This novel focuses on the BDSM lifestyle, as many of her others. It’s a very amazing and intriguing storyline that’s been created, but most of all, it also shows a healthy balance, informative scenarios. Something that I really appreciate and am grateful for.

Now… A Master’s Destiny, is a continuation of how Sir Davis becomes the Dominant he is known to be. He is one of many of my favorite characters, just the way he carries himself, his response to things that happen, and his ability to take a step back and readjust. I find it so fascinating, reading how he’s become the renown Dominant in Brie’s Collection. Reading the ups and does, his inner battles, the trials he goes through, and his relationship with his fellow Domme/Dominants.

All in all, I’m never disappointed by a Red Phoenix novel. She captivates the reader with her fun loving characters, but also the realism in her narration of each scene in her novel. The fact that she makes you feel part of the story, makes the characters feel so real, and makes the story flow do well. Fantastic! I highly recommend this book, and pretty much every other she has written.

The long-awaited story behind Thane Davis, Brie's dom and life mate, is the latest in the series but actually fits at the very beginning of Red Phoenix's saga of a submissive.

While his character has been fleshed out over the series, "A Master's Destiny" fills in the history of Sir's own experiences at the Dominant Training Center as a trainee and the drive that brought him to the position he held when Brie first encountered him so many books ago.

Fans who have followed Brie's journey will enjoy this new book. Red Phoenix is an engaging writer and I hope this look at Thane Davis will inspire her to tackle more of the faculty members who shaped Brie's experience. There are back stories aplenty waiting to be told.

Those who are just beginning their immersion into Red Phoenix's world will want to shoehorn "A Master's Destiny" in between the earlier works where it can provide some additional context.

Note: I received an Advanced Reader Copy but it would have been at the top of my leisure reading list in any case.

Wow, this book did not disappoint. I could not put it down. Every time I read a book from Red Phoenix I'm always amazed. This book called to me on so many levels. Her characters are never characters, they are people and just like us they have the same ups and downs that we go through. They are always learning and growing and evolving just like us. I like to take a moment and just breathe like Tono or be a perfectionist like Sir or as perfect as one can be. I'm not as insightful as Marquis Gray but that's okay, because what I've learned by reading these books is that it's fine to not be perfect or insightful. You just need to be who you are and make everything you do work for you. Sorry that took a turn, lol but just know that this is a great story and every time I learn more about the person she's writing about and I want to dive back into their lives more and more. I can't get enough of these books.

In Life you will go they many life experiences, stages and and lessons. It is what you learn during those times and how you handle yourself that helps you discover more about yourself and and to be understood the experience that you are going through at the time and moment . You will meet new people and may make new friends and you may meet people that may challenge you . Also you will be challenged as you learn something new to better understand and appreciate it fully in the end . In each new experience always stay true to yourself and your values and always trust your instincts . Don’t give up and stay with it as you will
Learn and discover new and maybe even exciting things about yourself that you didn’t know that will stay with you and help you in life . Keep those gems that are true friends always in your circle . As always there is some very steamy and hot scenes that will make be like oh my . There’s one scene in particular that is like wow and oh my goodness.

Be prepared to spend six weeks with Sir Thane Davis and the rest of his class at the world renowned Dominant Training Centre. Follow Thane down the other hallway to where the Dom’s are trained.

It was fascinating comparing yet seeing the difference between the Submissive side and the Dominant side. The classes are not just an eye opener for Thane but for readers as well. Oddly it seems there is always someone who is bent on causing some kind of problem.

Along with meeting Sir’s classmates, lucky readers get to see how Master Nosh handles things and we also have a bit of a reunion with some of our favorite members of the LA BDSM community.

It’s not all fun and pleasure to Sir as there is another person who is bound and determined to make his life hard.

This was a one sitting read for me, by the end of page one I was hiding in a corner in Sir’s classroom then in the practicum room where Sir polishes his erotic spanking and more!

5 Star Review of A Master’s Destiny (Brie’s Submission #23) by Red Phoenix

From the moment I read my first Brie story I was hooked on this series. Knowing that A Master’s Destiny is Sir Than Davis’s journey through the Training Centre I was exited to learn his journey.
It was fascinating to watch his journey unfold and I was quickie invested in the story that Red Phoenix wove. This book shows all that he went through to be become the Master that he is now. It showed his humanity, his vulnerability, his growth, strength and determination to become the best Master he can be. It is a journey of self discovery, of doubts An added bonus was the appearance of some of my favourite people including Rystar and Master Anderson and one that ticked all the boxes for me.
This was an emotional read that had me feeling as though I was on a roller coaster. This story was a wonderful addition to the series.

This book is fantastic!!

It was so fun to read and follow Thane's story as he grew into the fabulous Dom that we all know and love. Yes there were some stumbles and mistakes made along the way but he worked through them and excelled. The teachers at the Training Center really make the story wonderful. I'm sure that our great author, Red Phoenix, spent many hours on research for the classroom curriculum because the classes were full of information. So many wonderful subs we met along Sir's journey and a wonderful lady was met at the beach. That was a really fun part. :) Always good times when Rytsar and Brad (Master Anderson) show up. Even Samantha made a appearance and helped Sir work through a mistake.

These stories about our favorite Doms in their younger years are pure gold to read. Don't miss any of them. I did receive a copy from the author and this is my honest review. 5*****

I have read every book Red Phoenix has writting about the Submissive training center and Thane Davis. I must say WOW, Red you have done it again with A Master's Destiny. This book is about Sir Thane Davis taking the Dominant training at the Training Center. This is our first look into Thanes training to become the Dominant that he becomes in future books. I love seeing how Thane learns what I have read in all the Brie books. Seeing him go through the course that teaches him about being the best Dom he can plus learning from mistakes that happen. Teaching him that they will happen but how you handle them makes you the best Dom. We get the glimps of his mother again. Along with Brad Anderson and Rytsar. Their friendship is truely an amazing thing. We get to see Samantha come in to help Thane with a situation as well. Seriously this story had so much depth that you can not put it down. Only hard part now is waiting for Red Phoenix next book. Thank you Red for this amazing insight into Thane's training and learing more of his life and his friendships.

In a Master's Destiny we get to follow Sir through his time at the training center as a student in the Dominant program. It was an absolute pleasure being able to see what Sir went through and how the dominant program worked. His passion for learning and his ability to lead naturally were on full display throughout this book. I loved how we got to see his insecurities, mistakes, and how he was able to learn and grow from them, to become a better Dominant. I'm pretty sure any sub would love to kneel for Sir. When I tell you this book was HOT, like on fire, almost felt like I was apart of the scenes. Of course we get to see Rytsar and Anderson, who both deliver deliciousness with Sir. Red has an amazing ability to write you into this world and the characters, you just fall in love with them.

A Master's Destiny is an incredibly addicting read. I could not put it down. Seriously it needs a warning label, block off your time, because you are not moving until you are finished. Just when we think we know all about Thane's historical drivers in life, Red surprises us with interesting and compelling peaks into his psyche and how he came to be at the academy. Red's characters are very rich and diverse. The flaws and strength of each character sucks you in and grabs ahold of your heart and won't let go. This new insight into why Thane changed after his father's death and the coping mechanisms he embraced were impactful and of course the interactions with the group of characters we love in this series helped solidify backstories and why they are who they are. The community of support, the desire to help, and the I've got your back forever comrade is what we all need in our lives.

In this book, we have young Sir Davis - taking a 6 week Dominate training course at one of the centers. It is a very intense course he is going through. He has several classmates, who are dropping like flies if they don't meet the daily requirements.

Sir Davis is conflicted in his choices throughout the book, if he should / shouldn't continue with the course. Master Anderson - our favorite cowboy, and our young Russian - Rystar, do show up to help him along the way.

Sir Davis & Master Anderson do have a few adventures while he is there to help. Rystar never is one to not throw a party or 'help' when Sir Davis is stressed and needs relaxing. Rystar always knows how to help!

It was interesting to see the young Sir Davis struggle so much as he did. He knows he wants to be a master, but he's struggling along the way to work to complete this training.

I did receive this book as an ARC Book. I am freely leaving an honest review.

I have to be honest and say that I went into this not knowing if I was going to like it… because… no Brie. However, learning more about Thane Davis was enlightening and helps me with knowing the why’s of some of His actions. He’s protective and careful, and knowing His past better, we know why.

It took me a while to post a review, because I re-read it and Sir’s Rise from the Rise of the Dominant’s series. I applaud Red Phoenix for both books! Thane Davis, Sir, is a favorite character for me because of His love for Brie and His children. It was good to learn more about Him. His mother, once again, showed us what a vile creature she is… and despite that, Thane is a good man with a good heart.

I’ve been a Red Phoenix fan since book one of the Brie Series, and I am still a Red Phoenix fan even after this many books. She will always be a must read for me, and the Brie series is one I’d love to read more of and learn more about all of these characters!!

The beginning of Sir's training.....

A Master's Destiny brings us back to the beginning when Sir is homing in on his skills as a dominant. While he's been involved in BDSM as a dominant due to Rytsar guidance he seeks more knowledge and signs up for classes at the Training Center. There he learns various skills from knowledgeable dominants and even a few life lessons that help him navigate through life's ups and downs. Even as he is challenged at every turn with villainous characters, rival students, harrowing accidents and self doubt. We learn how with the help of great friends and mentors he became who he is in later books. We also get to visit some of our friends along the way like Brad, Rytsar, Samantha and Marquis Gray. Oh and his beast of a mother made an unexpected and unwelcome appearance.
This story is unique because while entertaining us it's also informative as well.

A Master's Destiny, what a way to truly show how a person grows and learns. I truly enjoyed reading the exploits of Thane at the Training Center. If you have not yet read Brie's Submission, this is a fantastic introduction to the Training Center, from the Dominant perspective. While Thane was there, I had many instances that I could relate to, especially when mistakes were made. I have felt that way several times, but had teachers and others also tell me to learn from those. I believe this gave him a strong foundation for when he finally takes over as Headmaster for the Submissive Training Center.

While Thane progresses in the Dominance training, he also finds ways to continue to strengthen friendships. For me it's the interpersonal connections between characters that bring me back multiple times and even multiple formats. Red is such a wonderfully emotional writer and I can't wait to see where she takes me next.

Thane’s devotion to learning is so strong and it makes him one of the best dominants, I think. It was great that Anderson offered his help, Thane definitely needed it even though he didn’t see it at first. Meeting all the other dominants in Thane’s class was eventful. I love the different dynamic between all of them, but there always has to be that one that causes trouble. Only it’s not who you think. Oh Tono, you always know how to calm someone soul. Having him showing that even at a young age he is a master at his craft, I always think of Tono when I see rope. I won’t spoil the ending but what Marquis Gray tells Thane has you realizing that Thane’s future will be great! Being able to read how each of these characters began helps your really see why they are the way they are in the main series. Another great book Red!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Red Phoenix's A Master's Destiny is a deeply personal journey of Sir Thane Davis's evolving into an exacting, responsible, self controlled Dominant. This is an extremely well written, thoroughly researched and precisely described, accurate example of a true Dominant; as opposed to a wanna be or abuser. There is a world of difference in the personalities and actions of a true Dominant. Red Phoenix gives a true and accurate, realistic portrayal of the D/s lifestyle. No one writes D/s better. A Master's Destiny has the perfect balance of hot sexy scenes, tense encounters, light hearted moments and informative, thought processes fully detailed, yet not preachy. It is an excellent, and enjoyable story of a man's growth into a Dominant Master. Well done Red, well done.
