'Beneath the Flames' is the twenty-fifth book in Red Phoenix's "Brie's Submission" series and all I can say is WOW. I've laughed, I cried, I've melted into a puddle of goo, and had the butterflies in my stomach and the internal tingles that go with one of Ms. Phoenix's books. I've become so vested in these characters that my heart felt like it broke in places and carried a knot in my throat and a tissue in my hand in order to keep reading. Then there were spots where Sir and Brie, along with their beloved extended family showed such an outpouring of love, loyalty, respect, and care for each other that it left me in awe and amazement. Once again Ms. Phoenix has proven what makes her such a spectacular author and why this series has been an overwhelming success.

My plan was to take my time. Savor the book for a day or two. That flew out the window the moment I started chapter 1. I didn’t set my kindle down until I devoured every last word.

Just wow. - I know completely descriptive. Honestly, it’s just how I felt as soon as I set my kindle down.

So many emotions went through me while reading. Wildflower’s story made me ball my eyes out. If you aren’t touched when you hear it, well then I don’t know what to tell you.

Damn you Rytsar. That’s all I will say about my favorite Russian.

Knocked it out of the park yet again Red. Well done.

Another great book in this series, which is amazing because this is book 25 - and it's every bit, if not better than the first three! I just love Bree, Sir as we as their family and friends.

I was hoping Bree and Mary would be able to rebound from their horrible experiences during their captivity. I cannot even imagine! So many things happened and I don't want to spoil them for anyone. An emotional rollercoaster for sure, but in a good way. All the feels!

This is book 25 in the Brie Submission series! I can’t hardly believe that! Red made a TikTok about how she at one point thought about ending the series. I am so glad she didn’t! For some people this would be “too long” of a series, for me…I was desperately trying to make my kindle keep going when I got to 100%! It’s never enough for me when I am in this world!

This story joins Brie and Sir after she has returned home. She is returning back to her life with her friends and family. Marquis Grey is going through major struggles as is Mary. Brie is there with them throughout! There is also a wonderful scene with Lea and her new Master!

Of course my absolute favorite scenes are with Brie, Sir and Rytsar! I cannot get enough of their throuple. The love that they share is just beautiful.

If you have never read any of the Brie’s Submission series do not start here! You will be lost! You MUST read this series in order! It is long but it is worth every page turn!!!

I found Red by chance, you know… if you like this genre, then check out this author type deal. Never thought I would be this deep in a series. There’s only one other I have followed … so that says a lot. I have never been let down by one of her books, because the are wonderfully mastered worlds, that she has built, and I’m captivated by Brie’s story.
Now onto the novel:
Beneath the Flames, is a continuation of the Brie Submission series, so I do recommend to start from the beginning, because trust me you will be lost. Lol. There is so much to this story and you have to read it from the start to get it all. Now… Brie has been through a very struggling hardship, and is trying to find her center, and be a good mother/wife/submissive. She has Sir Davis, her kiddos (so freaking adorable), plus many other characters, helping to support her. Her bestie has wonderful news, and we have a special Russian stepping in to help her… reconnect. Slowly the pieces of what’s going on, start to come together. Questions and past deeds start to be answered. Now it’s time to see if things will become better or turn for the worst. All the friends in this story will be each others backbone. It’s such a heartwarming thing to see. Beautiful.

I can rave more but I’ll put a stop to it now. Please read this book, I highly recommend it. I’ll be rereading it, because… well it just hits all the feels, opens doors for even you to look at the bigger picture. Truly well written. Thank you Red for this book. Til the next one…

Beneath the Flames continues from where Whispered Promises left off.

Brie has done a lot of healing since the previous book Whispered Promises. However, she still has a lot of healing to do - mentally. She has reached out to Sir Tonto and has received wonderful wisdom and insight from him as always.

Sir Davis, has also reminded Brie that she must calm herself / breath and have positive thoughts as well. This has greatly helped Brie as well. Not having her Russian, Rystar has affected her also. Brie is much better when she has both her men, Sir Davis and Rystar close to her.

Brie's friend Lea invites Brie and her family on a cruise with her and Hunter, for their collaring ceremony. Master Nosh and his submissive Nenove, are also invited on the cruise, and Brie is finally able to meet this lovely couple.

Brie is working on her film again and has requested to interview Master Nosh and film him doing a scene with his submissive Nenove.  At first Master Nosh is a little hesitant, but, since he was on the cruise with Brie and Sir Davis, he knows Brie has nothing but good intentions with her film.
Brie is still having bad vibes with Marquis Gray and Mary with what Greg Holloway did in their lives.

I did receive this book as a free ARC Book Copy. I am freely leaving an honest review.

4/5😳

Red Phoenix has captivated me with Another
Heart soaring story in her Bries Submission Series.

Beneath the flames continues from where whispered promises left off. We see so much healing take place in this book. Sir does his best to make sure Brie is doing better, he's taking care of her but with Marquis Gray going through emotional turmoil and living with guilt, Brie and Sir reach out to help him heal as well. Beneath the flames has so many emotional triumphs it makes your heart sore.
We see so much coming together. From Lea and Hunter becoming more committed to the reunion between Sir, Brie and her sexy Sadist Rytsar. Healing really does take the whole family, in this case Brie and Sir's whole BDSM community. We see so much love and devotion for the people in their lives and we also see the love and devotion those people have for Brie and Sir.
After the traumatic kidnapping she went through and Mary went through it is time to heal. It's time to come together!

Beneath the Flames gives us so much!
Red Phoenix can take your emotions for such a ride. She can tap into her muses and give us all an extraordinary story that not only gives you the Swoon moments but in True Red fashion she gives us the most steamy and passionate scenes that leave us breathless.

Beneath the Flames is most definitely a five out of five flaming Stars 🌟

I loved this book just as much as I've loved the entire series!!

Brie is continuing her journey of complete healing from the events with Holloway. Sir continues to be a super supporter of Brie's documentaries and making sure she has zero lingering worries from her captivity. Rytsar proves yet again that he is the best dyadya ever and plans a wonderful adventure for the family. The sharing continues and it's beautiful. So many emotions.

Then we have Lea, I just love her, finally has her moment with Hunter and we are welcomed to witness her beautiful collaring ceremony. So much love, be still my heart !! Poor Marquis Gray is struggling but with the wonderful community surrounding him and Celestia, he begins to flourish again. Mary is still a "work in progress" but I just love her and all of her snarkiness. She is tough, has been through so much and still manages to eventually, be there for friends.

Once again Red has brought us together on the most wonderful roller coaster ride of emotions!! I laughed, I cried, both sad and happy tears, laughed some more and had my heart melt so many times. Once again I fell in love with all of these characters and am looking forward to whatever comes in the future. Be prepared for 5***** of emotions.

Brie continues her journey of healing and enjoys several adventures, including a cruise and a visit to a ranch. Rytsar makes a quick trip from Russia to reconnect with Brie, Sir and the children.

Brie is rocked by the text Marquis Gray sent to Sir and struggles as she slowly learns the truth behind his words. Both Marquis Gray and Mary struggle with the impact Greg Holloway had on their lives.

Faelan finally reads the letter, how will he deal with the contents?

Part of reclaiming her live includes Brie finally interviewing Master Nosh and she is in awe of the man who was Sir’s mentor.

Sir takes Brie’s latest fantasy to the next level in grand style.

Another incredible book in the Brie series by Red Phoenix. This book will have you feeling all of the emotions. The characters are so well developed and she is able to move the characters forward while also dropping little nuggets from the past that fit in so well with the current story. These insights into the past of the characters is always fun.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I love when a new Brie book is released. The journey's Brie goes on always warms my heart. Especially when all her friends are involved in them.
This one starts off with Brie Sir and the kids being invited on a cruise for a special event for a very special friend. Brie has a chance to get to know Master Nosh and his sub Nenove while on the cruise which ends up being a blessing for Brie and her movie.
Brie is still shook up over Marquis Grey and Holloway when our wonderful Russian Sadist "storms" the ship and whisks Brie, Sir and the kiddos away on a wonderful mini getaway that helps Brie live in the moment and forget.
My heart aches for Grey and all he has gone through and going through. I loved catching up with Lea and Mary. Even Faelan got some much needed closure although it was hard for him.
I love catching up on all these characters I cannot help but want to know what the next journey for Brei will be. I know it will be an emotional ride but oh what a ride it will be

Absolutely Amazing!!

Beneath the Flames by Red Phoenix, once again Red Phoenix has provided a beautiful, deep and passionate love story! Each and every chapter of this book makes you always want more, and thank goodness Red Phoenix delivers that to us!

Beneath the Flames has a few main focuses, Master Nosh, Marquis Gray, as well as Brie's connections and friends. The story lines with Master Nosh and Marquis Gray were so insightful and enlightening. Both characters have always been enigmas and very intriguing.

Red Phoenix and her muses, once again bring us into Brie's world and makes it so easy to live out her books through her amazing words. She pulls you into Brie's world and I for one never want these stories to end. This book is like all others before in that it brings you all of the feels!!! The scenes between Brie and Sir are spectacular! As usual, I'm anxiously awaiting the next one! Thank you Red Phoenix for bringing us Brie and her world! ❤️❤️❤️

A flaming hot read...

Another incredible book in this series by this incredible author. This book will give you all the feels and take you on an emotional ride to say the least. Beneath the Flames is the 25th book in the Brie series and they just get better and better. It picks up where we last left off in the previous book. Brie is continuing her journey of healing from her recent ordeals and gets up to several adventures along the way, including a cruise and a visit to a ranch.

Several of her friends from the Submissive Training Center make appearances and get up to their own shenanigans that always enhance the storyline for an intriguing read. The scenes between Brie and Sir are incredibly hot, plus we get some great ones with Rytsar as well.

I've never been let down by a Red Phoenix story yet and I've read every book she has available. I can't wait to get my hands on the next installment. Thank goodness I may not have to wait too long.

I received a copy of this book for the purpose of a review.

Every word I read of these books makes me happy. Happy to have “met” Brie, Sir and all of the other characters from the Submissive Training Center, happy to read the continuing stories of each of their lives. Especially Brie and Sir. I love how they met and how their lives have come together and the love and family they share. I love reading about these people.

Following up with Brie, and watching her recovery from being kidnapped and tortured, seeing her get stronger and more sure of herself, made this book one of my favorites. I’m so happy that Lily has been caught. Rytsar did what he promised.

It’s another excellent book by a writer that I love to read. I love this series and I hope it continues for a long time. Red Phoenix has brought to life stories and characters that I want to know more and more about, and she has done it so well, and in such detail as to make it seem real. How do you fall in love with fictional characters.. by reading about them through the mind of a great writer. Thank you, Red Phoenix, for sharing your muses with us.

I sit here staring at this box to leave my review and I am overcome with emotions! I have read every book in this series and every "spin off". Red Phoenix never fails at bringing us on an amazing ride. I think this just might be my favorite in the series. I am always blown away with the love between Sir & Brie and it is constantly growing! There is such a great blend of romance and suspense. The love scenes are super spicy and they of course include my favorite Dom Rytsar! I always enjoy reading about our favorite cast of characters even if they aren't long scenes. Ohhhhh and the final scene of the book brought tears of happiness to my eyes. I read the book in 1 day but it could have been only hours if I didn't have to adult in between. lol It was so hard to put down! I really can not wait for the next book! I know there are a lot of books in this series but I guarantee if you start this series you will fly through the books.

An emotional story after Brie has returned home after being kidnapped by Greg Holloway, then to discover he was murdered in prison. Who murdered him is the big question. I love how the BDSM community rally around each other, Marquis and Mary are both struggling and coming to terms with their involvement with Holloway, especially Brie who definitely needs a special connection to them both. Oh my scenes between Sir, Rystar and Brie are so moving and breath taking you can feel the love and commitment between them you’ll fall in love with them all over again. Wait until you read about Wildflower what she symbolizes. Rystar always comes up with the perfect gift to show Brie how strong she is, his love for her and Sir is never ending. I couldn’t put the book down I love that it included so many of my favorites we’ve come to love especially Marquis, Mary, Lea and her Dom Hunter. I’m voluntarily leaving this review for the excellent story. Condor’s Forever!

What an ending! 🔥 this book is 25th in the series and with that being said I have a lot of thoughts on this. I enjoyed this book like I have the rest but technically I’m on book 10 so a lot is going on and I don’t know some characters or major plot lines. So I will say read them in order. Also I have some questions at the moment but hopefully they will be answered when I read the rest. This might be a continuous review. Here are some thoughts

1. Marys character development is very slow. She seems to be the same from early on in the series with a little bit of differences.
2. Loved téa not so much on babygirl which was used a lot. Maybe it will grow on me.
3. Her dad saying little girl.. kinda cringy he’s not part of the “lifestyle” so I don’t think he needs a name for her like everyone else. I don’t remember him calling her that in the beginning but I could be wrong.
I still love all the characters and the plot holds my attention because I devour all these books.

5 star Review Beneath The Flames (Brie’s Submission #25) by Red Phoenix

After the previous book I could not wait to see what Red Phoenix had in store for Brie and her Sir. Having read numeros books in this series, these characters have become like family to me.
Beneath The Flames gives us an insight into a ne lives of a number of our beloved characters. We also see Brie, really coming into her own as her confidence soars. So many truths come to light and there will be a surprise or two for some as we finally get some much anticipated answers. Of course not all will be revealed and there are sill have plenty of questions that need to be answered in the coming books.
This was an emotional read that had me in tears at times and I felt as though I was on a roller coaster. Ms Phoenix’s stories have equal amounts of heart and sould and well as passion and heat, a balance she handles well.

Beneath The Flames is the 25th book in the ongoing story of one of the sweetest Subs ever and, like the old-time theater serials, leaves you hungering for the next book.

As always, Red Phoenix weaves multiple threads into a compelling tapestry. This time, the focus is on Marquis Gray's crisis of faith over a death for which he feels responsible. Since Gray has been one of the bedrocks of Brie's experience, it deeply affects her.

It's hard to say too much about all of the threads that in Beneath The Flames without being too revealing, but they include Lea's collaring by Hunter and some welcome developments for Rystar and Mary.

Running underneath of of this is the life and family that Brie and Thane have created together. It's proof that true romance can and does survive the arrival of children.

Note: I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for this review but my opinions were not affected by this.

"Of course you googled it!"

Best line in the book.

It was hard for me to get through this book. It was mainly due to I have was having an emotional and physical breakdown when I got this book. I did not even know if I would be able to read it being so sick. Yet I finished it.

I love the scenes with Brie, Sir, & Rytsar. It makes me miss when I was part of a trio.

How their family is so sweet is wonderful.

Brie's relationship with Lea & Mary have me miss my BFFs. They all love across the country. Yet they remind me hooking back up & meeting with 2 high school Girl Friends at least once a month. No one needs to be alone.

I cried when Brie finally wrote in her journal & Sir bringing it to life.

It was hard to figure out if I was emotional due to the book it what was going on in my real life. Was great to escape now I will have to read many of the books again to get a better understanding of me and Brie.

Who would have ever thought at book 25, I still would be so invested in these characters lives that I read each book the day of release cover to cover. It is that good. This story delved deeper into two of the anchoring characters whose very core foundational principles were reimagined through struggle and enlightenment. The divine intervention or imagery that leads the reader towards feeling these characters are good, blessed, flaws and all….worthy of being forgiven for things that should be unforgivable is incredible. Then there is the loose throuple that let’s face it is absolutely scorching hot. Each time I read their books as the main characters I am desperate for them to be permanent…to see how their story can continue to evolve….To be more…that is one of the threads that keeps drawing you back. Maybe in the next book? I also want to know more about Rystar and what happened for him behind the scenes….Ugh can the next book be released tomorrow?!?!

This is book 25 of Brie's Submission. There was so much emotion in this book. Lea's collaring, Marquis Gray's situation, Faelan's past crashing into his life again, oops no pun intended, Rystar's mysterious trip to Russia, and interviewing Master Nosh, plus more.

I didn't realize how much I missed Brie writing in her Fantasy Journal until reading Beneath the Flames. Oh my!!

Some of my favorite quotes from the book are:

“I would not have been worthy of collaring you as my submissive without his instruction.”

"It doesn’t matter how attractive a man is, any man who concentrates on his own satisfaction over mine is a waste of my valuable energy."

“No matter what the future brings, you and I are forever connected,” Sir stated as he lit the infinity symbol."

"Beneath the flames of desire, my heart beats for you."

I’m not crying…..

After so many books all the characters have become like family to me. So from the start I was excited to see how Brie was doing emotionally and physically. Your gonna have to read to find out. No spoilers from me. 😉

In the beginning with Lea’s surprise I couldn’t control my smiles. I was so over joyed for Lea and the new journey she has started. I can’t wait to see where it takes her. I feel that Mary’s journey has finally really started and I can’t wait to see how it continues on in the next book. I was so glad having Rystar back, mostly so that he could see Brie and be able to connect with her again. Marquis Gray’s confessions had me almost in tears. The guilt he was carrying for something out of his control had me wanting to hug him.

Overall the book will have you turning pages so quick you’ll finish before you know it. I’m sitting on the end of my seat for the next one.

An absolute Masterpiece!!

Red Pheniox deserves a round of applause for bringing us this story. There were so many important pieces, I’m truly amazed by her.

1) Lea and Hunter…. I loved every minute of the cruise ship and collaring. It was perfect and Lea absolutely deserves it.

2) Rytsar and Wildflower… I love him and he made me cry, but my heart was so happy.
When Brie found out that Rytsar bought the horse for her, I was as amazed as she was.

3) Marquis… here is where I’m at a loss for words. Every visit absolutely moved me profoundly. All of it was written beautifully.

4) Master Nosh… again I’m speechless, what an incredible man.

I know I’m being a bit vague, but I will absolutely not ruin this book for anyone. You MUST experience it for yourself.

I just want to add that Sir is absolutely amazing and his continue support and love astonishes me always!!

The ending fantasy was awesome!! It was the perfect ending to the book. I will always wish this series will never end ❤️

Beneath the Flames....

.... My heart beats for you.

It would be very easy for me to tell you that Red Phoenix knocks it out of the ballpark in this book. It's true, she does. That this book is one of her more emotional reads - also true. That there are laughs, and giggles and answers and more questions. Again, that's all true.

But what I really want to tell you about this emotionally packed, roller coaster of a read, is about the love.

If you're a fan of the Brie series, and have caught any of my other reviews, I always talk about the feeling of family found in these books. Not just family, but the love that flows from this family. You might say, well, that's just how they're written, but these characters, Sir, Brie, Rytsar, and the rest of the gang are idealized slices of real life. They have ups and downs. Good days and bad. Trials, illnesses and fears just like the rest of us. What remains constant in their lives, is love.

I truly believe that Red speaks to our hearts and souls when she writes. We can survive the storms of life with love. The love of friends who become our chosen family. The love of blood family that can be a bit trickier to navigate. And the deep abiding love, a love that grows stronger through adversity, if only we take the time to nurture, it to care for it. It takes work, but we all can have that, either with our spouse, partner, or even by treating ourselves as we deserve.

Read Beneath the Flames. Bring a big box of tissues. Prepare for your heart to melt. You deserve this treat.

Oh. The final scene of the book? Perfection!

When you fall in love with a series you become part of that series and the characters among the pages. The Brie series is a series that I fell in love with many years ago. I discovered sides of me from the pages of each book and related to the characters on a personal level. Red Phoenix has a way with words that keeps you coming back and rediscovering a series all over again with a reread.  Beneath the Flames is the 25th book in the series and it is just as wonderful as the first. Brie has healed so much since the last book. She is filming again and experiencing new scenes from new perspectives. Growing in herself and her relationships. The book shows beautiful scenes and connections between those amongst the pages. I can not wait for the next in the series. Great series with an even better author. I highly recommend this series to all.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Couple: Brie & Sir
********
I'm always excited to be able to catch up with Brie and the family. I was so happy to see Brie returning to herself after the horror she had gone through, and the way Sir being so in-tune with her knowing just how to help. I will still always hold out for the coupling between Sir, Brie, and Rytsar to become more, especially after this book and how you can feel the power between them when they are all together. As hard as it was for the information to come out, I'm so happy for Fealan to be able to get closure and begin to process. I felt just heart broken for Marquis and his internal struggles, I wanted to reach in and give him a hug. It was amazing to finally dive deeper into his soul. So many ups and downs in this book, it was a delight.

Brie is struggling after what happened with Holloway and she sees the Marquis Gray is in a dark place and needs help.
After Sir Davis advises her to send positive thoughts to Marquis she is able to calm down and go about her life, until she decides to continue her film and asks Master Nosh to be part of it. What happened is it opens a new world to Brie. When Rystar returns with good news all is well in her world but she still worries about Mary and her future. What's next for this feisty young woman, will she listen to what her friends are telling her or not? This is an absolute delightful story that you can't put down. Immersing yourself in Brie and Sir's world is like a warm blanket of sensuous pleasure. I volunteered to review this story.

4.5 ⭐️ I loooooooove that there was a lot of the main trio here bc that relationship really shines! Brie, Thane and Rytsar is where it’s at!! I wouldn’t be surprised if this relationship turns into an official polyamorous relationship- especially when this book seemed to be leaning that way (referencing fidelity, and her men.) They are just so hot 🌶🌶🌶🌶 but I wouldn’t be surprised either if it stayed exactly the same as an unofficial poly relationship.
I’m glad Brie is digging back into her documentary and that this showed more of a balance between parent life and the bdsm lifestyle!

**Warning: past sexual assault, kink**

Worth the read?: YES
Reread?: YES

This author always gives us multilayered stories and Beneath the Flames is no different. Brie has escaped her trauma, but she is still recovering. And she is worried about her friends. Mary is also still recovering, but has no belief in her worth. Marquis Gray is wounded and dark, a man who has lost his faith. Ryster is still on the hunt for the creature, but thankfully takes time to spend with Brie and Sir. This ongoing story is like a glimpse into the lives of the most interesting people you know and I love it.

Red blew this one out of the park!!! Expect one heck of a rollercoaster ride with this book!! I laughed, cried, swooned. Although Brie has come along way towards her recovery, Sir still worries about her, but she has come out of her hell, a stronger person. But how about Mary who feels no worth, or Marquis Gray, who we see a side never seen before or Falon, who finally opens the letter...
If you have never red this series, I highly recommend it, along with the side series. If you already read this series, well enjoy, you will not be disappointed!!
