This is the fifth book in the Manhattan Men Series and is a great addition. You'll enjoy Willow and Gerrit's story. No shortage of drama or angst in their love-hate relationship. He's one of the gorgeous rich Manhattan men and has the top technology company in the city. She hired his company to produce a web site for her Yoga company and he's not thrilled until he sees her. She's not only gorgeous but smart and overflowing with personality. A surprise turns into a disaster when she thinks he stole her idea. Do they get things cleared up? Does she change her mind about him? Do they get their HEA? This was a great story and a fun read. It's hard to put down once you start reading. The characters are well developed and likable. A good read that I enjoyed and as usual Jacob Parker doesn't disappoint. I read a free advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

I love a book I can read in a day!
This was so sweet! And even the misunderstanding wasn’t as sad as I expected it to be… (is my heart turning to ice?)
Garrit and Willow were so damaged at the beginning that they kept getting into their own damned way. But thankfully with some good friends and well meaning family they were able to fight their way back to each other.
This book was the perfect thing to usher in my summer reads!

This is book five in The Manhattan Men Series and it is Gerrit and Willow's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Gerrit works at the family company and deals with all the tech side of the business and when a proposal comes in for a yoga studio he thinks that it is a prank or a joke and it wasn't until Wit who is not only his family but also his boss acknowledged that he is serious but Gerrit is struggling to think that anyone would want to do yoga on line but it wasn't until he read about it and after seeing a picture of the owner Willow that he decided not only to take the project but also wanted to get to know her. Willow loved her job as a yoga instructor and loved sharing it with others and she wanted to expand so needed help with her online presence and that is where the Manhattan company came in and she is waiting to hear from them. When Gerrit and Willow bump in to each other literally and the spilt coffee on Willow he was so embarrassed that he recognised her that he rushed to his car without apologising hoping that when they meet again to go over the proposal she doesn't recognise him. The more time that they spend together the stronger the attraction and chemistry grows between them but they both have baggage and trust issue's and have been burnt and hurt before so they are taking it slow until something happens putting there relationship in trouble but will they be able to come back from it and trust each other. Wow this series just keeps getting better and better with each book. I couldn't put this book down and it was so emotional in places that it had me in tears and I had to keep turning the pages to see if they got the happy ending that they both deserved and I can't wait to read more book's by Jacob Parker who is an amazing author and writer and his book's are definitely worth reading.

Gerrit Manhattan is the last of his brothers to fall in love and find his HEA. He's been burned in the past and cheated on which broke his heart, so he's been guarding it carefully ever since. But the day he bumps into a beautiful woman and soaks her clothes in her matcha and simultaneously covers himself in his coffee, he should have realised that instead of running from her that he should have begged for her forgiveness as his fate was sealed. Willow is his new client that he should make a good impression with. When they officially meet, he uses all the Manhattan charm on her and she readily forgives him. This is the seventh book in the series by the best selling author, Jacob Parker and can be read as a standalone or as a part of the series. As I've been lucky enough to read the whole series now, I would say that reading it as a part of the series is so much better. For example, if you haven't read the other books you'll not know who Abbey nor Nash are which is a shame as Nash is a sweetheart! I enjoyed 'meeting' Willow and Gerrit as they are so well suited. They've both been hurt before but have so much love to give. Their passion is off the charts and you'll need to set your air con to MAX COOL. I confess that I didn't like Jeff at all and wish Willow had set him straight earlier. Lovely ending. I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED. [Are their cousin's stories going to be shared with us next??]

Can't get enough of these hot Manhattan men.
Gerrit sees his sibling falling in love, getting married and starting families...well that is all good for them, but not for him. He will not be caught up in all the love stuff.
Willow, who has had no luck with men, is putting her head down and starting up her yoga studio. She is determined to get a second one off the ground by the end of the year.
Willow reaches out to the top media company to help her create a great website that will draw in more clients.
Gerrit gets this new client left on his desk. At first he thinks it is a joke from his cousin. A yoga studio, hell no.
But when Gerrit finds out it is not a joke and starts his research, well things may just be looking up for him. He sees Willow's picture and all bets are off.
But his first encounter with Willow is let's say far from stellar. He actually ran into her, spilling her drink on both of them, and he just takes off. UGH...not Gerrit's best first impression. Maybe she won't remember him.
Not a chance, when Willow goes to the office for the first time and sees who will be working on her account...well well well, isn't it Mr. Hit and Run.
Will these two be able to work together? Will their very strong physical attraction cause issues? There is only one way to find out. You will have to read this great book.

Tech guru falls in love with yoga guru
Gerrit Manhattan didn't know how his life would change when he bumped into Willow Tucker. He almost knocked her down but spilled her matcha drink all over her and then took off without apologizing to her.

She accepts, and they work well together. Both are very supportive and attracted to each other.
Great story of two people who have been burnt before by their exes. Both have trust issues. They have wonderful times together. That pull is strong. He is willing to do anything for her and make her website a success. He's there for the taping of the live yoga videos. It was a success. He also went a hike with her group, and he was a little put out with Josh, one of the regulars hitting on Willow.
He didn't want to get in the way of their relationship. So he decided to step back and left the studio.
There are a few misunderstandings with these two, but it will break them up and leave them heartbroken. Can they work their way back?
Jacob Parker reeled me into another great love story. Love your writing of these compelling stories.

When a proposal comes to Gerrit's desk for a yoga studio, he thinks that it is a prank, until his boss Wit acknowledges that the job is serious. Struggling to think why anyone would want to do yoga online, Gerrit decides to meet Willow in person and is instantly attracted to her, deciding not only to take the project, but also wanting to get to know her as well. The more time that Gerritt and Willow spend working together, the stronger their attraction, and chemistry grows between them. Everything goes smoothly for the new couple, until a surprise from Gerritt turns into a disaster when Willow thinks he stole her idea. Do they get things cleared up? Oof! Roller-coaster. Whiplash. Yo-yo. All of those are excellent descriptions of my emotional state while reading this book. Like his brothers, Gerrit is a closet romantic, and his idea of a special surprise is pretty spectacular. Unfortunately, Willow doesn’t have a good track record with surprises. When things are good between Gerrit and Willow, they’re fantastic, and I was on Cloud Nine. But when things go bad, it’s awful. I’ll admit it, I despaired that these two would ever get their issues straightened out. I doubted. I feared that Gerrit and Willow had blasted such a hole in their foundation that they would never be on solid footing with one another again. I yelled at my reader. I threatened to teach it how to fly. Then the author gave me my heart’s desire, and I felt foolish. I finished this book with a silly, sappy grin on my face and the hope in my heart that since there are still single Manhattans out there, the series is nowhere near done yet.

Gerrit Manhattan work at the tech firm that his family runs. Willow owns and runs a yoga studio with dreams of growing her business into multiple locations. Willow hires Gerrit’s firm to great a new website for her studio. At first Gerrit’s hesitant about building a web site for a yoga studio but after looking Willow up online and seeing how hot she is he’s all in. Willow invites Gerrit to be her assistant on a day retreat so he can get a better ideal of what she does. Willow thinks she is way out of Gerrit’s league but the more time they spend together the more that they end up falling for each other. Gerrit loves to surprise Willow like with a work trip with him to Hawaii. But one surprise has him making Willow mad at him and feelings are all over the place. After sitting down and airing everything out they get down to the misunderstanding and make up. Did I mention that Gerrit moves quick in this relationship and surprises Willow with a marriage proposal. The Manhattan men are falling like dominos!

Gerrit Manhattan truly though the proposal in his desk was a joke... Online yoga... Ha. Their first accidental meeting was a mess the next one can only get better.... right? Taking the job isn't an option but getting to know Willow is definitely not a hardship. Willow just has to remember not to mix business with pleasure with her hot web designer... Easier said then done. Blurred lines, a secret surprise and past betrayals just might drive them apart instead of bringing them closer. Misunderstandings and assumptions not a good combination
Geritt and Willow had a lot of trust issues. I don't want to call it baggage because it was a lot more than that. Both had been burned in relationships and even though the fell head over heels for each other Willow's demons surfaced pretty darn quick. Her insecurities took over. Gerrit worked his butt off to surprise the love of his life with something that would help take her business and dream to the next level. He never got the chance to tell her. When Willow found out about the little extra app, she literally went off the deep end and accused Gerrit of some pretty awful things. Gerrit tried to explain but she wouldn't even listen. When Willow found the envelope he left she realized the horrible hurtful mistake she made. Yes I'm glad she had to eat crow. The one thing I loved about all these stories was the guy's dad Britt. He always intervened with his words of wisdom. So do we get to see the cousins stories now.

Gerritt Manhattan is tasked with this project. He believes his brothers have pranked him. Gerritt reviews the file and finds a picture of Willow and is more than intrigued with her beauty. However, a disastrous encounter outside a coffee shop has Gerritt running from her and she is left with her drink and his drink splashed all over her. This storyline of two people who have had disastrous and painful ex-lovers has neither one looking for love. But love has a way of creeping in where you least expect it or does it? Will they be able to overcome a betrayal? Great character development, entertaining storyline, highly recommended. Jacob Parker has great success with his Manhattan Men including his now Book #5.

I am voluntarily leaving this review. I love this series. This book was great and had me hooked from page one! The chemistry between the main characters, the banter and the supporting characters were hilarious, supportive and overall just perfect.
I loved how hard Gerrit worked to prove to Willow that he wasn’t a bad guy. He was sweet, charming and thoughtful. I loved how Willow was easy going and how she viewed the beauty in everything and everyone around her. I may have to take up yoga now after reading this book and seeing a side of it that I never thought about.
I wish we would have gotten Han’s story, but I am hoping there will be a spin off or more of this series for all the cousins in the family. In each book I could see a story for each of them! I can’t wait to see what else Jacob comes up with next!

Oh my! What a love story. The perfect dream all we gals have had. Gerrit is a Manhattan man and of course he’s handsome and successful in his tech world. Willow has a yoga studio, is very successful and conducts unusual classes, going beyond yoga to meditation and journaling for a calmer life and she has dreams of making her business even more successful. She wants to expand and she hires Gerrit to redesign her website. He is very good at what he does and their attraction is immediate, from the get-go.
I guarantee you will love this beautiful story, set in NY, based on this most fascinating Manhattan family. I’m loving this series, each an independent read but with familiar faces as there are 7 Manhattan brothers (not to mention those cousins!) I can’t wait for the next!

Gerrit is a tech guy who come from a lot of money . He stiff on relationships because the last one was really bad. Willow has. Yoga studio where she teaches yoga, meditation and journaling. She want to expand with a website to get a wider audience. One morning she was out getting he drink for the morning a a guy ran right into her spilling her and his drink, didn’t say a word , but took of like he scared of her. Later on he told her her are you beauty stunned him stupid. Grettit firm got the job and was the tech person to do the job. Once they met they Realized that she was the person he ran out on . He asked her out to dinner to make up. That is they started seeing each other. Willow made him have fun .Willow even got to learn about his family which is a famous family in NY

Silly title; silly name - Gerrit Manhattan, really? I've already skimmed the tedious conversations about the hot guy/hot girl with the female/male friends. My 1st book by this author; kudos to a rare male romance author. Hard for me to get into the story since Willow has forgotten her business sense because she is all hot for him in their 1st meeting. How old is she? Immediately after their 1st meeting she calls her girlfriend, babbling like a fool (her words) to tell all about meeting hot Gerrit. Very juvenile situation - the whole mess is based on a silly misunderstanding which any ADULT would have handled with one conversation. Willow is so awful in her blaming him that, really, he should dump her. The writing is too corny for me; DNF.

I love the way Jacob Parker tells a story. It jumps right at you and then I don’t want to put it down. As one of the last Manhattan men to be single, the story between Gerrit and Willow doesn’t disappoint. Their match up may have a rocky start but their connection is felt right from the beginning. I love how women are portrayed as strong, independent individuals who are successful. I love how their are men who caring, thoughtful and have manners. It’s what a true romance is made of. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves strong men and women with a playful vibe, sexy scenes, and romantic strolls.

Sent positive vibes into the universe
Gerrit, a Manhattan man that works in the family tech firm, initially though that designing a website for Willow, owner of a yoga studio, was a joke, until his boss came in asking for his thoughts on the proposal. As the story progresses the first meeting doesn’t bode well, with the second only time will tell, and they can only move forward if the past is not where they dwell. Jacob Parker sent positive vibes into the universe with Mr. Stiff Suit. This series blows me away with every book. I can’t wait for the rest of the clan to join in the romance fall.

As the story progresses the first meeting doesn’t bode well, with the second only time will tell, and they can only move forward if the past is not where they dwell. Jacob Parker sent positive vibes into the universe with Mr. Stiff Suit. This series blows me away with every book. I can’t wait for the rest of the clan to join in the romance fall.

Gerrit Manhattan designs websites for the tech dept at Manhattan, Inc. Willow has a Yoga Studio that she wants to expand but she is desperate foe a new website. She has been saving so she can afford to hire only the best to work for her. Thus Gerrit and Willow meet and first impressions do not go well. These two go on such roller coaster ride of emotions throughout this book sometimes you don't know which way is up. Jacob really grabs hold of you at the beginning of the story and doesn't let go until the end.
You can read the books in this series as standalone but I reccomend you read them in sequence. Easy read HEA

Another great book to the series! The author once again brings a strong cast of characters centering on Gerrit and Willow. Their first meeting is a messy one but the attraction was immediate. I loved watching their relationship grow into love, although it's not all smooth sailing. They have a huge misunderstanding causing them both a lot of heartbreak. I loved the storyline and the ending. It's well written with descriptive scenes, moves fluidly and is a terrific read. I would highly recommend this book/series and hope to see more of this family.

OMG this was a good book. I loved how Willow and Gerritt originally met, and how he bolted, but then decided that he would help her with her yoga website. Both had been burned in previous relationships so had some trust issues. When they were hot they were scorthing, but when miscommunication happens, their trust issues definitely come to the forfront. I really did not think these two would have a chance, but Jacob worked them back to good ground and by the end I was so happy for them both!! Be orepared for a good rollercoaster ride!

Mr. Parker’s insightful talents come to the fore in this delightful story about Willow and Gerrit. She owns a yoga studio and wants to increase her patronage. He is a website designer and is worried about “mixing business with pleasure”. Both are “gun shy” after having been cheated on several times and do their best to deny the obvious attraction (both mental and physical).
This delightful read rendered me unable to put it down for more than just a minute or two until I’d finished and was left wanting to read more by this author (no surprise there!)

Falling fast and hard.
Gerrit and Willow are wonderful characters. They compliment one another beautifully. They have gone through the same thing in their past relationships. It’s hard for them to trust, and also to break down the walls they have around them. It’s sweet, it’s romantic, it’s steamy, it’s funny until they hit a snag of non-trust and such a big mis-communication between them. I could not get enough of these two. I love the way Jacob Parker writes love stories. I am so looking forward to more

Both Gerrit and Willow have been hurt in their past relationships but when they meet they know that there is something special about the other and love spending time together.
Gerrit is working on the website for her yoga business and as they get closer both know that they want to have a future.
The website is a massive hit and Willows business is thriving but a big misunderstanding tears them apart. Can they come back from this or will it be the end of them.
A must read with a perfect ending.

This book is definitely one of my favorite books including the first one in this series so far. Definitely a recommendation to read and hopefully the other books are like that where it gets me to want to read more books in this series because I know the last ones didn’t give me that feeling. Gerrit and Willow had a rocky start. Gerrit is a closet romantic but also a strict businessman just like his brothers. When he gets a proposal for a yoga studio website redesign he thinks his family is pranking him. Then he gets a look at Willow and instantly is attracted to her. Then he meets her and falls head over heals. Willow is doing everything in her power to get out from under her parents rule and make a name for herself. When he meets Gerrit she realizes he’s the one who plowed into her without acknowledgment. Instant jerk title, then she sees his romantic side and falls fast. Their chemistry is off the charts and Jacob did an amazing job keeping us guessing. Love the Manhattan Men series. This was a must read

Gerritt & Willow are perfect for each other from the start! As the last of the Manhattan men to get hitched, this one is a bomb! Gerritt is sweet, romantic but has trust issues. Willow is the same but she is more easy going than he is. However, these trust issues will take you on a wild ride of highs and lows, But Jacob Parker delivers this amazingly sweet, sexy love story that will take your breath away. I volunteered to review this story.
