Nowadays relationships are far less conventional. Both men and women have a tendency to stray. Behind closed doors, we often don't know exactly the kind of hell most people walk through for a mere slice of heaven. Love ain't always fair. Therefore, Dior decided that she’d get whatever she could from these f-boys out here, never realizing that those defense mechanisms would be useless once she encountered the likes of Davion Wiltz aka Chubby.
Okay from the outside looking in I knew that this throuple between Dior, Chubby and Cocoa was gone be a mess… But I’m sympathizing with Dior because Chubby was not honest with that girl from the get go and he brought her into his messy as life with Cocoa who technically agrees to this open ass relationship as long as she can run this off after he gets his fill, Cocoa is coo coo and Chubby is delusional as well and I just wish Dior was strong enough to run for the heels but you done gave this fool your heart…. On to book two
Chubby, Chubby, Chubby! Man he has these ladies going against the grain all while he is too! I appreciate getting an up close view of Dior’s perspective outside of Kia and Yaz stories. I can literally see and understand all sides Dior, Chubby, and Cocoa!
Dior and Chubby’s story. Now we get to see the real. I see how Chubby sucked Dior in. They aren’t as toxic as Kia and Money, lol. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out.
Sis , how you going leave us hanging like this …. It like we know story between Dior and Chubby but dam the roll coaster you took us on! I can’t wait for part two
Dior is disgusting and phony. She acts like she’s the catch but in reality she’s just seeking what another woman has. Chubby is a coward and so weak. He goes whichever way the wind blows. Cocoa is just desperate. Why do these authors write these stories for Black women reinforcing their dysfunction and normalizing infidelity, the other woman syndrome and settling for so much less? Nicole talks about designer clothing, drug money and glorifying fraud. She even promotes single motherhood like most of these authors. Nicole is one the best romance authors to ever write. I hope that she Makes these so called “Bad Bitches” be just that! Women who are intelligent financially secure and who expect to be courted, engaged and married by quality me . All of this before having a baby.
I wasn’t really too interested in Dior’s story, based on the other books. But after reading this, much like Kia’s story a lot of things were revealed. While, I find both of them flawed. It’s clear that Dior and Chubby have a connection. And, while Dior is book smart. The Hot Girl credo she lives by is stupid!
.Kia and Yaz had more depth to them. Dior just comes of materialistic and shallow enough to sleep with a man because he has money and then catch feelings all the while ignoring the big red flags! I guess! At this point if you’ve read the prior books you know what is going to happen. Sometimes people’s bad choices are to blame for the drama that comes their way. By people, I mean Dior.
If I must say that I ride for Nicole jackson I love her books and her style of writing so yes I spend money on everything she drop… but this book was just ok for me it’s like I couldn’t get into it the entire time I had one eye in the book and one eye out the book I honestly don’t think it was worth the price from the beginning I kinda felt I wasn’t gonna be into Dior story but I decided to give it a try since Nicole is my favorite maybe part 2 will draw me in if I decide to purchase part two with the way I was feeling about 1 guess I read take down again until she can grasp my interest 😂😂
Cocoa was like most women that play house, giving away everything you got and ending up with nothing. She was so used to fighting these chicks but should have never underestimated the new boo. I think chubby could have handled the situation better. A must read and interesting on all three sides. If you think about Dior was invested too when she found out the truth.
Although i love Nicole’s pen.. I rated 4 stars only cause I didn’t care for the characters… like I didn’t like Dior because no matter how crazy Coco was .. you still intruded on someone else relationship.. then you just laid up with the dude raw on the first link.. it’s gave bird energy.. birds go to school too 🥱.. Chubby wasn’t desirable at all either… not like his family members lol. But it’s still a decent tale all the same.
The toxicity and disrespect in this book was crazy. I'm not reading part 2 though. Chubby was such a turn off. He disgusted me. And Dior was such a disappointment. Sis really had a good head on her shoulders and peeped the red flgas BUT IGNORED THEM. Then, had the nerve to fall in love. That blew me. Nicole is really good at writing about cheating ass dudes that had no remorse. I'm good. Imma skip the sequel. ✌🏾
This book gave a whole new perspective of Dior’s view from her appearances in “Borrowed love” and “We outside”. I couldn’t stop reading if I wanted to. I loved Dior and Chubby’s story. The roller coaster ride they took us on was soooo worth the wait, I can’t wait til part II.
Nicole this book was delicious, I read it in one day. I like chubby and Dior together they are a better fitted. Coco on some guilt that man to stay with her she need to let that man fly....When it's all said and done I don't believe it's gone be chubby baby Coco have...
I’m over this telling the same story from different perspectives! We know what happens with Dior, Coco, and Chubby! Why is this book two parts?? This is revealing nothing new at all! I will not be here for this continuation. This whole story has been told multiple times! Don’t waste your $$
Toxic read, but I ate it up lol chubby was a manipulator and had Dior exactly where he wanted her. I liked how Dior tried to stand her ground in the beginning, but of course, she ended up folding.. I wish she didn’t cave in so fast but chubby was applying pressure so I understand. I enjoyed reading this.. I feel like I already know how part 2 is going to play out but I’m invested
Chubby was chose by Cocoa truly and when made his choice it was none other than Ms. Dior. No shade Cocoa wasn’t ready but I am ready for the continuation of this dramatic lover’s tale. Dior and Chubby 💋🌺🌷Cocoa should catch a case behind her crazy and go away.
Chhhiiillleee this is a mess 🤧 Everybody saying I’m gonna change my mind about Chubby but for now I’m on the fence. He’s playing a very dangerous game and Cocoa clearly doesn’t have all her screws. I’m loving the storyline and it’s addicting as usual. I can’t wait for part 2
I’m loss for words.. I feel sorry for Cocoa and Dior Chubby is just a walking heartbreak. Ms Nicole Jackson I love how you incorporated the character for your books into your work.. bc I remember Tino Keesy Jrock Paris and a few more others in this book
As always Nicole Jackson doesn't disappoint. This is not your typical love story. If you love that hood toxic thug love this is definitely rhe book for you!
Sooo the whole time I’m reading Yaz’s story and then messy lying ass Kia’s story it was like I wanted to like Dior but I couldn’t because I just could not fathom how she could have so much to say about Kia and Money’s relationship when she is openly messing with the next woman’s man. But babbbbbay now that I’m reading this toxicity from her POV, I can totally see how she undoubtedly done tied her soul to this fool Chubby. Now I can’t say that I don’t like Cocoa because she’s been around and is definitely mentioned in the other books and has been somewhat as Chubby’s DAB. But she left a door open for him to fool around and now it appears he done tied his soul Dior… I mean he was actually about to leave Coa. Was…. Looks like Dior going to be back to sidebitch status in book 2.
