You can’t outrun your demons, but you sure as hell can give them a run for their money.

The monster that’s tormented us from the shadows has finally stepped into the light, and he has his sights set on me. But discovering that my entire life has been orchestrated as a twisted form of training to help him literally unleash hell on earth? Not exactly my idea of a romantic gesture.

There's an invisible noose around our necks, tightening more with every passing day, every saccharine smile Ash sends my way. He may have had centuries to put his plans in place, but he underestimates the depth of my spite, and the lengths I’m willing to go to protect what’s mine.

You don’t die for the people you love, you live for them. And unfortunately for Ash, he forgot to take the most important variable into account when making his plans; me.

The thing even Nightmares fear.

While I enjoyed the concept of demon-shifters, I found the political machinations much too convoluted and complicated, and there were too many men to keep straight and also have them have appropriate relationship development with the FMC Sabrina/Aurelia. The book took a giant turn from the original premise in the first book, with Ash taking up most of the villainy.

I think multiple men could have been cut from the harem without harming the overarching plot, and the demon subplot didn't need to have so many different facets to it that made it so difficult to keep straight. We had to deal with the lycan injections, the relationship between Sabrina and her "fathers," the relationship between her "fathers" and her "mom," Ash's motivations to keeping Sabrina around, the caves underneath the mountains, the different types of demons in general, and Sabrina's own demon magical powers.

Another part I didn't like in this book was all the gratuitous violence. I don't remember the men being so violent in previous books - for example, in this book, the men brutally beat up snarky mean guards and even killed them sometimes due to bad moods and blaming it on their inner demons. While protective can be attractive, this went way past it.

I had really liked the first book and usually enjoy the author's books, but I didn't like the rest of the series much unfortunately. I'll probably still check out the spin-off series though - hopefully it has a more focused and less convoluted plot.

Sabrina and her mates have been through a lot since book one of the Thrown to the Wolves series, and book four is no different. Ash wants her for his own reasons, and she can't trust them but it seems her whole life has been orchestrated for her by a conductor she hates. There are so many twists and turns along the way in this story that Sabrina and her mates are in for one hell of a rollercoaster ride.

As the book neared the end I wondered how the author, J Kearston was going to be able to round everything up in such a small amount of pages, but honestly, she cracked it. The whole series has been interesting from start to finish and kept me turning the pages and things didn't happen exactly how I thought they would which left me wondering just how things could end. I really do enjoy J Kearston's work and she is an author I will happily read time and time again.

Probably the least favorite of the series IMO

I really enjoyed the “Thrown to the wolves,” series. Each book built off the previous one, adding a layer of dimension and further characterization. However, Pack Possessed really didn’t quite live up to what I was hoping for.

**SPOILERS**

Sabrina and her harem have fought through a lot of shyte to get to where they are. And each revelation just begins another awful domino effect! Everyone around Sabrina seems to suffer to some degree, yet J. Kearston has created a truly great character in Sabrina; she’s tough, Savy, resilient, brave, reckless, emotional and yet closed off too…and best of all, she LOVES FIERCELY AND WHOLE-HEARTEDLY!

I suppose I was disappointed that after all the time (books) it took to get Sabrina to “The Mountain,” and back to her “fathers,” that the pace of the book then sped up like crazy lightning. Sabrina reunited with her “fathers,” only to have most of her hopes dashed. Realizing that the mountain IS NOT a safe haven but actually a graveyard built over HELL (like seriously, hell) it’s up to Sabrina - AGAIN - to save the day. Her mates are great, I enjoyed each one of them…though I wish Kaige, Damien, and Hunter had shown up a little earlier in the series, because their entrance into her life kind of kick starts the crazy breakneck speed of the rest of the novel(s).

As far as our villain is concerned, he was just well, kind of, blah. Yup, I get it, stupid lover scorned trope, except this demon dude was never even Aurelia’s/Sabrina’s to begin with. And with all his thousand upon thousand of years of harping on LOVING Aurelia to the point of resurrecting her and killing thousands of wolves and humans to have her…he doesn’t even really love her. At least the author should’ve given us a villain who had done all this truly epic awful shyte because of his stupid unrequited, mad, deep love for the woman who was a million times better and stronger than he was. But nope, we’re left with a quick revelation that he doesn’t even truly want her…he just wants her power, and if he can’t have her power he’ll just kill her?! Huh?!!! That just goes against everything we learned about of Ash from when he was first introduced as obsessed with Sabrina.

In addition Annika…she REALLY needed to get hers in the end, and she didn’t. It was truly anti-climactic! The woman was a bitter, awful, sadistic person/demon/wolf who although hating Ash and saying she did everything to go against him…actually followed his directions to the letter! Treating her “daughter” who is actually her niece like shyte her entire life! Making Sabrina cynical and cold toward humanity, AND if that wasn’t enough, putting her through vigorous physical training and wildlife survival living just for the heck of it (well that’s what Sabrina thought). Nothing was ever explained to her, she was just dumped into these awful situations, then pretty much kicked to the curb by Annika when she was 18. After all this, Ash brings her back to be Sabrina’s “present” to get revenge, and all we get is a measly paragraph about how she hated her life, her trio of (doting) mates, and mourned her human love that meant more to her than her niece ever did/does. It was just sooooo anti-climactic!! She really didn’t get what she deserved.

Then, the entire weird Adrian taking Sabrina hostage at THE VERY END, only to pull a “fast one” on all of them, so Sabrina can “call upon” Calina and end Ash. Again, his demise took all of one page. It was as if the ENTIRE SERIES came down to one more measly paragraph where Sabrina is pulled from the pit, stabs Ash, and throws him to the hellhounds, and voila, that’s the end.

Ugh. Then we get a truly awful epilogue. All of Sabrina’s Alpha/Beta mates have pretty much “Given up on humanity and civilization.” Bought an island where they live with their “extended family only.” It’s not even a REAL pack, just family living on an island. And I know how many times if was mentioned that Sabrina didn’t want to be merely a breeding tool, and had never really considered kids, etc. but she wasn’t 100% against it. So to have an epilogue where all the “demon wolves” are no longer her or her mates problems anymore, they live alone on an island, but the ONLY kids are Emmaline’s twins?? I mean, seriously?! The author didn’t give Sabrina a couple of cute hellhound pups/babies of her own with her mates? Or even show she was pregnant or going to reveal she was pregnant? It just once again, felt like an awful let down. I felt like I invested all my time in 4 books to get a conclusion that took place in 3 pages, and a “pack family” that wasn’t really a true pack. It was just…sad, and dissatisfying.

Once again, I wanted to like this last book a lot more. The opening was fantastic, finally providing us with all the missing information the other books were leading us towards finding out. Then the middle seemed to drag, much like books two and three, and then it ended all in the last few pages with very little resolution. It just seemed rushed. At 85% in I was thinking maybe I was wrong about this being the last book because Sabrina seemed so far from defeating Ash.

I'm glad it's over and this isn't a series I will reread despite book one being so good.

interesting and irritating

The concept and overall storyline was amazing. The bigger the harem the better, and the amount of drama was phenomenal. Biggest issue was there were large portions that were just blah. The series would be a 5 if they kept up the pace like the 1st. By the end of the fourth I was bored and forced myself to finish it just to finish it.

Pack possessed is the last book in The Thrown to the Wolves series and what a brilliant finale it was. I've loved Sabrina and the guys from book 1 and this book was the perfect ending for all of them. It was great that we got a bit of background/backstory to Aurelia (Sabrinas Wolf). It put things into perspective in regards to Ash. Who seemed to do his level best in this book to cause trouble. It was definitely a roller coaster of ups and downs to get to that ending but it was worth the ride. I just loved it

Pack Possessed is the fourth and final book in the Thrown to the Wolves series and let me tell you it did NOT let me down. I absolutely adore J. Kearston and her writing style. This was absolutely NO exception. We have action, twists and turns, steamy as hell scenes with Sabrina's seven guys, a little bit of a complicated situation, but for me, it was easy to follow, finally get some answers that I've been so waiting for, and a villain that I can't help but to like. This was such a wonderful conclusion to Sabrina's story. Not gonna lie, I'm so eager to see what J. Kearston thinks of next!!

Raise no more demons than you can put down... advice Sabrina probably should have taken to heart earlier. Now she's trapped in Ash's insanity, just trying to save her mates and the other shifters before the mountain shifts and they all fall straight into Hell.

The end 😢

I don't know if I should be happy or sad about reading the end to Sabrina's story. Sabrina chew more that she could handle, but know she neets to make the impossible possible to save everyone she holds dear. We also get the background story of Aurelia.

I loved that Sabrina is an alpha and that her guys love her more because of it. They are willing to follow her lead and her her do as she pleases while still staying by her side.

I can't believe it's over. Pack Possessed is the conclusion to the Thrown to the Wolves series and it was freaking awesome, and savage from the start. There was possession, demons, cool mythology, evil mastermind, found family, and was humorous to boot. A seriously fantastic read.

Sabrina has finally found some middle ground. She's stopped trying to do everything be everything and is kinda just going with things. It was pure chaos but she still put that big brain of hers to work trying to piece together Ash's endgame to protect those she loves. Somehow in the middle of it, she's managed to find her happiness or rather she takes happiness where she can get it, and more often than not it's with her family.

All her guys are great even the ones that didn't have it together have finally managed a way to pull it together. One thing is for sure for all Sabrina's weird little quirks and violent tendencies they guys love her, follow her lead (cause she's alpha), and aren't going anywhere. I love her playful relationship with them, the snark and banter are great and they seemed clued into not only Sabrina but to each other as well on some level.

The backstory was revealed and it was crazy and so unexpected. I liked learning about the shifters' history, it gave me a better insight into the characters and how things work in their world. Kearston gave clues early in the series but it wasn't until this book that things really made sense. Ash is a freaking genius to bad he's the devil. The level of manipulation was unreal, along with the amount of time he was doing it for.

As for the Slaughters (the dads), they were the real surprise in this one. Sabrina and the guys were so worried about them and it turns out Sabrina has them eating out of the palm of her hand, they love her. Their relationship with Sabrina is heartwarming in its own way and Sabrina has those parental figures she's been missing. Finally, I wanna talk about Aurelia, talk about a powerhouse of a character, she was unexpected but very key to the entire story. Her empathy and ability to see the bigger picture was the start of the story. It was hard to know what her true motive was and if her intentions were on the up-and-up but there was no denying a connection between her and Sabrina. The two are very similar and I don't think Sabrina would have survived everything if it wasn't for her.

Pack Possessed was freaking genius, the way everything connects together and those little pieces that fit just so perfectly together. Kearston is such a wonderfully talented writer and I loved her unique take on shifters. I loved the way the story ended, I'm so happy they got their HEA. Kearston gave a little hint on her next project and supposed readers already met two of the characters, so same world as Sab and the guys. Unfortunately for me, I can't remember them but I am looking forward to their story.

Pack Possessed by J Kearston is the final book in the Thrown To The Wolves Series.   It is an action-packed, shifter, reverse harem story. Sabrina and her mates must form a plan against an enemy that is ancient, rich, practically immortal, ruthless, and cunning and he's had a thousand years to work towards his goal.  Up until now, they've been unknowing participants in his play. Will they risk everything to follow Sarina and make one final stand to defeat Ash?

I love the background and shifter origin story in the book. It's an original look at shifters and where they originated. Additionally, some parts pull from a  scientific viewpoint.  Kearston combines these effortlessly.   The characters are detailed and each unique with the addition of their demons' personalities.  It's interesting reading this internal dialogue, almost as if the characters are talking to themselves. There is lots of action, with twists and turns and even more discoveries by Sabrina's group. I wondered how Kearston would resolve everything by the end of the book.  However, she did not disappoint and ended with an epic conclusion.

My only complaint is that with so many characters and those having a demon personality, it became confusing who was who at times. I had to backtrack to see whose point of view I was reading from, which was a little frustrating.

I would give Pack Possessed 4 out of 5 stars.  It has an original plot and a creative twist on the magic in it.  Additionally, there is a strong, determined, kick-ass female alpha main character with a super sweet crew willing to do anything for her.  They create a found family all their own.

I would recommend this book for adult-only lovers of paranormal reverse harem romances. Pack Possessed is a fast-burn,  super spicy romance. There are some dark tones, so if you have triggers, you should know at least lots of violence, murder, fighting, and suicide.

Pack Possessed completes the Thrown to the Wolves with a bang.

And I mean it literally and figuratively. 👀

Anywho, with the epic conclusion of this series, I’m excited for what’s in store for the Cursed Shifters universe. Sabrina and her guys did excellent at showing us around their world.

I feel this series is a bit different than Kearston’s others, but that’s good. Gives a bit of diversity, and this series does deal with event fallout, burnout, and rocky relationship starts. Cliffhangers don’t always get me, but I was screaming and mindblown not once but twice throughout the series.

Sabrina and the guys were starting to figure things out in this book and how to stop Archeron. Nice little twist at the end that I think helped wrapped the series up in a nice little bow.

Leo, Sebastian, and Merrick accept Sabrina as their daughter no matter what. They don’t care that they missed her growing up (okay, they do care, but they care more about being a part of her life now than commiserating over lost time). I adore that for Sabrina as I feel she needed that more than she was letting in after losing Noah.

The dynamic between the guys grew and adjusted, which was definitely necessary. If you think things got off on a rocky start with Sabrina for Damian, Kaige, and Hunter, it was even more so between them and the OG mates. Yes, I did just call Boden, Cinjin, Reid, and Slade the OGs.

Kearston does a fantastic job writing stories with snarky and sassy female leads, and Sabrina fit that bill to a tee.

I was sad when the book ended. Not because of the outcome, but because I was all cosy and comfy with these characters.

I can't lie. With so many, I did get mixed up sometimes. I'm still not sure when Reed became one of her mates... I had gone back to confirm things I missed so many times, I decided I didn't need to know, and to just enjoy it.
It's not a negative, I've read plenty of books with more than half a football team of harem, and I just find it hard to keep up. I still know all their names Slate, Bow, Syn, Reed, Hunter, Damien, and Kage.

In this book, the MMCs were so well written they have their distinct traits as well as their common traits like Cage and Sin with their slight unhinged pyscho side, Bow and Hunter, with their more army protection side. They all also have fun in spicy hot, fan myself ways. Yes, the Smut is also well written 😏

The Slaughters are just so cute! Their instant acceptance of Sabrina and the revelations. Well, they were perfect, and yes, drug Lords and killers, but awwwwww

Oh, the story itself is engaging, fast-moving pace and full of discovery that keeps you guessing. Will their be an 8th mate. Stone....what about Stone? The town of shifters! Are there more than shifters?

This book ends with a HEA and closes in a satisfying way. I will miss then.

Sabrina's mind captivated me in Pack Promised, but watching the way she evolves through the series leads to a dang near perfect culmination in Pack Possessed. The internal struggles she goes through find their way to being external struggles, and all 7 of her guys are more than willing to step up.

Pack Possessed finally gave me the origin story for this world, and it was magnificent. Not just the actual story, but the way in which it was told ... I was very entertained and impressed.

There seemed to be a little less spice in this one than the earlier books. The action and drama were kicked up to ten, so something had to be sacrificed. Don't get me wrong. Sabrina still gets railed by her guys, but it is less of a focus here than you might expect.

Overall, Pack Possessed was a great way to bring Sabrina's story in the end. The bad guys get what they deserve and the good guys get their prize. A happy ever after for everyone who matters. Plus it leaves some negotiating possibilities in case the author wants to come back to this universe. I would love Raiden's story (hint, hint 😏)

The conclusion to the Thrown to the Wolves series packs a punch with its final book. The man who has orchestrated the chaos that is Sabrina's life has been revealed and his plan has been set into motion to raise Hell. Now she needs to figure out how to save not only her mates, but everyone else too.

3.5 Stars
I'm going to start off by saying the last two books made me feel like the series was going in a downward spiral. Stories were becoming repetitive and less interesting as time went one. But with this final book, I feel like the author finally amped up the action and gave us a great story to end the series.

I loved the backstory that we have for the shifters, and I love Ash, despite his maniacal, devil self. I know he's the villain, but the man had a genius plan that he was executing very well. I would say had we not needed an HEA, and for Sabrina to overcome her villain, he would have accomplished what he wanted.

Despite how much I feel like the author amped this final book up, they still didn't fix the dragging issue in the middle. Since book two, the beginning and ending are great, but the middle of the book seems to drag on and become tedious to read.

I don’t know where to start. My heart is still racing from the last 2 chapters. None of it was what I was expecting but it was what the series needed.

Sabrina and her mates were put through the ringer both physically and emotionally with this series. Just when you thought they were getting the upper hand J ripped it all away and I loved every second of it. The trials they went through only made them stronger and their love deeper.

Everything comes to a head with this book and it has you constantly on the edge of your seat. Waiting to see how things are going to play out. J leaves it a mystery until the last second and it’s not what I would have expected at all. Even so, it was very fitting for the characters.

Although I’m sad that it’s over, this was the perfect ending for Sabrina, Kaige, Cinjin, Hunter, Damian, Slade, Reid and Boden. After all they’ve been through they definitely deserve it. I am excited that J is writing another series in this world and I hope to get appearances from these characters again.

Fantastic finale!
When I first set out reading this series this not what or where I expected or even anticipated where this story would go….and it’s all the better!
These are no ordinary wolf shifters and after finding out snippets of the truth from both Ash and Aurelia (Sabrina’s sort-of wolf) Sabrina has some seriously touch decisions to make for the shifter community and the humans 😩
Thankfully she has her harem around her to support her now that they are finally getting over their issues with each other (I’m looking at you Damien and Reid 🙄) moreover her ‘dads’ are in her coroner, despite her lack of filter or etiquette 😅, and show her that family really can stick around 😊
There’s not quite as many steamy scenes in this one but there is a ton of action and it is a quickly paced book with plenty going on to keep you reading!
Can Sabrina and her harem finally break this curse between the wolves and their human counterparts or are the continuous revelations going to finally prove to much?! A solid finale to this series that provides a different take on shifter lore!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "PACK POSSESSED"
OMG!!!! What a phenominal conclusion to this extremely well written series suspense, intrigue, secrets revealed, lies, betrayal, danger, emotional turmoil, internal struggles, action, intense drama, twist that have you glued up your seat up the end.
Sabrina, Hunter, Kaige, Cinjin, Reid, Boden & Slade dealing with mind games he's had his plan in place for centuries but they fight with everything they to not let him win.
Sabrina & her mates go through so much both physically & mentally but it only made them stronger & love much deeper something ASH didn't plan on.
I recommend to get this mind-blowing epic conclusion to this series will Sabrina & her mate's be able to break this curse between the wolves & their human side or will it be to much for them you have to get this book to see how this all turns out.
I'm so looking forward to J Kersaton's next adventure in the "DRAGON SERIES" first book will be "SPARK OF DESIRE" set in same universe as "THROWN TO THE WOLVES".

This the final book in the series. Sabrina and her mates are left trying to figure out how to thwart Ash, once they manage to find out what his plan actually is.
This final book feels like a million miles from book 1 and certainly not where I thought the series would end up when i started.
There were lots of twists and turns that linked into each other, but I personally found them too complicated to fully understand everything that was going on. The sheer number of names to keep track of made me keep a notepad close by.
Sabrina gets plenty of alone time with her 7 mate's, and the guys all finally figure out how to get along.
I did love the way Sabrina and the guys interacted, I think J has a real talent with character interactions, I always feel like they really know each other through their banter. I also enjoyed how not everything went their way and that there were a few 'bumps' in the road, made for a much better read and showed how they came together to work as a team.
The ending....after all the action, danger, violence and deaths, was very sweet and calm.

Shifters-demons/RH/Instalove

SYNOPSIS (of 4 Book series): The FC rescues the sister of a 4 brothers from an attack. The brothers fall immediately for her but consider her a human. It transpires that she is, in fact, a wolf shifter. However she is not a normal wolf shifter as her wolf has unusual demonic traits. In this book the MCs can only begin shifting once they mate and as the brothers mate with the FC their wolves also turn out to have demonic traits. Female shifters are extremely rare and there are fights over them as a result. The series cover the FC trying to work out her history and why she is how she is. She did not get on with her mother who treated her abysmally and she left home as soon as she could. As the series progresses the FC finds her fathers and, when she goes to visit them, she finds out who she is and that her life was all part of a grand plan. During this she collects 3 more MCs to add to her harem. There's plenty of drama and intrigue and the story keeps moving to its ultimate climax and HEA.

The series was well written and an interesting take on the shifter universe. However, it wasn't for me and he story felt dragged out a bit. The basis of the story is that shifters are actually humans possessed by demons and this series does not therefore have the usual shifter dynamics and background. That didn't work for me. It had shades of J Bree's "Bonds" series in that each character had another "being" living within them and controlling their actions (or capable of doing so) and not in the usual wolf sharing a body way. Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed J Bree's series I felt this one was too much of a twist on shifters.

The story was also a bit grim in that there seemed to be little real romance or lightness to it. Everything seemed to be doom and gloom even after the HEA. The climax, considering the story was dragged out over 4 books was a bit of a "blink and you'll miss it" as well as being facilitated by a late entry into the story who came out of nowhere to apparently save the day. Considering how complex and detailed the whole backstory was it seemed lazy for the author not to provide a bit more depth in closing out the story. Yet again, the villain did not really seem to get much comeuppance considering everything he had done.

Finally, for me 4 MCs is pretty much my limit in RH (which I enjoy). When you start to get up to 7 then I find the whole thing ridiculous so it was also too many MCs for my taste.

J Kearston continues to add detail into the incredible world building, whilst maintaining character development and the complicated intricacies of the plot in this final installment of the Thrown to the Wolves Series.

Sabrina/Aurelia combine their knowledge of the past, the present and their knowledge of Ash to be able to beat his insanity. I have loved Sabrinas growth throughout the series and getting to know more of Aurelias past and her actions really helped set the stage for their epic conclusion.

Their journey from four packs and an unloved girl to one of the most formidable demonic shifter packs prepared to go to any length to take down the monster that is Ash has been an exhilarating ride. They have had ecstatic highs, lows that have left you feeling bereft and spicey scenes that would melt your clothes off. I have enjoyed every word.

Pack Possessed, the fourth book in the Thrown to the Wolves series by J. Kearston was a fabulous continuation of this series and a must read for anyone that follows Kearston’s work. The storyline was fantastic, the flow was perfect, the twists well timed and we finally got some long awaited answers to some burning questions so overall this was a stunning conclusion!

If you’ve read the first three books, then you definitely need this one to complete the journey that Sabrina and all of her delicious men are on. Just be warned that non-stop drama and action will take you ok quite the suspenseful emotion packed ride right till the very end!

I love Kearston’s unique twist on shifters and all their history and felt that it gave this story the perfect extra punch! I can’t wait to see what comes next!

I really enjoyed the series overall, although I felt like books 2-4 dragged some in places. Most of the plotting and planning was necessary to the outcome, though. But often the explanations and jumps in theory and knowledge left me confused. Sometimes this was simply because when I would stop reading a chapter and started up again, I couldn't remember er who was talking. And that was one of the best parts of this book and the whole series-- all the men had distinct personalities and even with a harem of 7, Sabrina really enjoyed each man and their relationships separately. One thing I would have liked to have seen woukd be a sweet, individual moment with Kaige since he had saved himself for her. Overall I recommend this book to people who enjoy critical thinking and deep connections with multiple mates!

An amazing finale to this epic tale

I have loved reading about Sabrina and her guys since Pack Promised, and each book just keeps getting better. I got a little nervous when there were only 50 pages left, because there was NO WAY that all the loose ends could be tied up, only to have them tied up with a beautiful bow by the last page.

Bo, Cin, Slade, Reid, Kaige, Damien, and Hunter really love Sabrina and support her in every decision, even if most of them don't end up exactly the way they're planned. And you can see just how much she relies on and loves her guys. Each member of her harem brings something special to the table and without them, Sabrina wouldn't be able to be as strong as she is. However, Sabrina is a BOSS even without these guys, but they definitely make her better.

Oh Wow! This final book of Sabrina and her guys was absolutely magnificent. This book has so much drama, suspense, and action. It had me on the edge of my seat where I couldn’t put it down. We learn so much to questions that have plagued us since the beginning. I love the tidbits of humor at times as it added that little bit of an extra element to the story.

The story is extremely well written and developed. I love J. Kearston’s writing as it always pulls you deep in the story. You feel as if you are directly part of the story. The descriptions are radiant and that allows you to easily picture what is occurring throughout the story. This entire series is an absolute must read and it will not disappoint.

Pack Possessed is the final book in J. Kearston’s Thrown to the Wolves series. Not going to lie, I’m sad to see the series come to an end though what an ending! The character building has been phenomenal during the entire series and even with everything we already knew about Sabrina and her guys, the backstory was freaking mind blowing. The origin story was so well done and I was never once tempted to “skim” over that part. And I’m not sure what is says about me, but I loved Ash in this book, he’s such a fantastic villain. The book ended with such a wonderful HEA and the hints of more books in the same world have me excited because I’m not ready to give it up! Well done on finishing this fun series!

Left me an emotional mess while I read

Sabrina, a gal of many hats, as well as her new found mates have been confronted by a bigger bad than they have faced. As the story progresses the truth of the past is revealed, only a few lips are unsealed, and if they can outsmart the big bad dude they may no longer have to live concealed. J. Kearston left me an emotional mess while I read Pack Possessed. The origin story laid out could have sent the main characters running to stick their heads in the sand, but they fought it out until the end to make sure they could get a happy ending. I cannot wait to read about some of the other shifters that J. Kearston plans to create in this world.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Pack Possessed rounds out this series by J. Kearston and wraps up Sabrina's story and everything that I've been waiting on - I get in this book! I was super thrilled to finally get that backstory that I've been craving and the answers that I've needed to really understand certain aspects of this series. All of that is wrapped up in this book and I couldn't be happier.
Yes, there is less steamy scene in this book, but it's all good. You still get sexy-times with Sabrina and her men, but it's a bit less since there is a ton of drama and action packed in instead and for me - the trade off is worth it all. So Id on't mind too much.
If you are a lover of HEAs then you are definitely going to be pleased with how all of this wraps up. This book earns its 5 out of 5 stars.

Good series until awful ending!!

I’m actually so frustrated by this final book in the series, it was a struggle to read. Books 1-3 were good and detailed and this one felt rushed and then all of a sudden at 96% things get resolved with NO EXPLANATION. I truly was so confused and felt like we missed major things that apparently happened. I’ve never experienced any other author doing something like this. I then hoped maybe the epilogue would reflect back on things to finally explain but nopeee. It had good potential but to just suddenly give them a HEA without giving the reader the details is infuriating and makes me feel like I wish I’d never read the series to begin with. Like it’s all I can think about now rather than the good components of the story/characters.

Pack Possessed by J. Kearston is the fourth and final book in the Thrown to the Wolves Series, and what a phenomenal finale!!! This last installment capped off an amazing thrill ride for these characters and readers alike. I love that this writer was able to bring the feels with the series and made us care what happened to not only Sabrina, but her men as well. I for one, like reading a story that isn't all rainbows and roses. This series had it all and captures the reader's attention right from the start and kept it to the end. Can't wait to see what else this very talented writer has in store for us in the future.
