One thing she is not expecting is to meet a man that will change her life’s trajectory in the blink of an eye. Despite what she tells herself regarding love, every part of her is against her plans for herself the moment Dylan Berotte opens his mouth.

Drama is the last thing either of them want, but it seems that is exactly what’s in the cards. Dylan’s pending circumstance, at the very least, would give any good woman pause. Once it’s revealed to Skyler, it brings her to a crossroads, and she doesn’t know if she has the patience or if she trusts Dylan enough to even take a chance on him. Will she choose to risk her good sense to be with Dylan, or will she just cut ties altogether and move on in life without him?

About the author

Starting with poetry, writing has always been a constant in Monica's life. The interest began in her teenage years, being in love for the first time. Her love for writing has only progressed. Song lyrics and poetry led to short stories, then one day in her down time, a short story became a 56k word novel. It has been non-stop since then. Being a wife and mother, has only added to the joys of Monica's life. Attaining a BS in Sociology, helping her better understand people and their behaviors, has only helped her become a better writer, understanding characters and their complex personalities. Romance of all types has been her passion, and she plans to continue honing her skills in that genre.

Monica!!!!!!!!!!! I mean!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m in love with the Berotte family!!! Dylan was everything and I loved the instant connection with Skyler! This was definitely a two piece spicy😮‍💨😮‍💨!! Just the right amount of drama and sex lol!! I’m ready to read about SHY because I know he’s going to turn some ish up a notch!! He’s had BDE since his daddy’s book!! I was expecting it to be a bit predictable but I was definitely caught off guard a few times! Monica you DID THAT!

This book here had me up at 3 in the morning reading lol .. I love how it picked right up it didn’t miss a beat!! I love me some Dylan and sky and when they first met awwww.. and I love Shy and how he didn’t even think to hire her he said come on!! I love how Dylan was nothing to play with that attitude whew !! The drama Chileeeeeee it was all up and through there. That Chanelle that girl had my ready to lay hands I felt for her a little bit just a little. Sky is a amazing and she had me worried but they got it right. I love mama Nissa n pop Shelton and Alexz and Axton. I’m not going to say no more just read the book!! On the next… HEYYYYY SHYYYYYYY!!!!!

Miss Monica! When a Berotte man wants you, that's all she wrote! They move fast as hell too! 😂 Didn't quite know what to think of Dylan going into this one, but boy did he surprise me! That situation with Chanell scared his ass straight, and right on time to meet his one! Although Dylan was unfamiliar with feelings for a woman, meeting Skyler lit a fire up under him! He had to get this right, he could feel it in his heart, upon laying eyes on her! Skyler, had no intention of finding love when moving to Beaumont. But Dylan pulled her right on into his web, for safekeeping! Skyler surprised me after learning of all the drama Dylan had going on. Somehow she knew that he needed her support, even as just friends. But, that pull and chemistry they had was too intense for them to stay away from each other, with they nasty asses! 😂 I love how hard the siblings go for each other! That damn Shy is something else, and I can't wait for his story! The way he goes from a professional to a G, in the blink of an eye is nuts! Chad, Chad, Chad! It will be interesting to see if Lexi can break him down. She doesn't seem like one that will give up easily! Sklyer's father is a trash for real! I hope he gets what's coming to him, besides losing his wife, and the love and respect of his daughters! Waiting patiently for the next one, as this family is fire! Great job! 👍👍👍

Peak Insta Love!

Dylan and Skyler were peak insta love lol. Wasn’t here for and I wasn’t necessarily against it. Tbh I was more worried about the side drama with Chanell and Skylers dad. Not favorite of the stories so far BUT the sex scenes were fire so there’s that lol! I’m honestly still excited to keep reading because I’m curious about Chad and Lexi and the situation with Shy and Brittany! Overall a decent story and I would recommend to complete the series!

Loving it

Dylan was a player for real and it caught up to his ass. Chanell was the crack over the head he needed to change his ways. Skylar was a breath of fresh air to the story and i loved her for it. Great read and i wonder who's up next.

I am definitely loving the Berotte’s and I love them more and more!! Dylan and Skylar just fell into it sooooo easy. Even with all the mess in the background they just worked. I expected more hesitation from Skyler but they were so drawn to each other that the outside ish just didn’t matter. I loved Dylan’s passion. He came with it from page one👀💦🍆😂. My good sis Skyler gave as good as she got!!!

Skyler’s dad was 🗑 trash and we need an updated of him getting what he deserves 🤬. I would love to see her mom’s glow up😘.

It’s was great catching up with the other Berotte’s and I can’t wait for more👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Episode Three

Mrs. Walters and these Berottes did not come to play. Each story is getting deeper and deeper into the family dynamic. Everyone in the family has their own drama and unfinished business that has to be handled. Dylan and Skyler were not excluded by any means. I thought Alexz's problems were extensive however the ride that Chanell took Dylan on whew wee! Chanell was entirely too grown to be playing those childish games. She needed a can of "act right" opened on her. I admired Dylan for how he went about obtaining the correct paternity of baby Nixon. Chanell took him through the trenches but with the support of the family especially Shy he weathered the storm. Chanell was a blessing in one way because she scared Dylan straight. He was able to put away his playa card and lock in Skyler. Skyler was a God send because she came into Dylan's life at his most vulnerable state. He needed to experience the love of a real woman. Someone that had already established her life and career. Skyler was going to be his ride or die he felt it with their first encounter.

I am loving how close-knit this family is and how they step up from each other. Isaiah has just as much wisdom as Sheldon. He will step in the gap for a sibling without any questions asked. Shy is the gangsta lawyer that will get to bottom of any issue, "by any means necessary." He did just that for Dylan with the situation he found himself in. We are only three books in and I feel this is the hottest series in the literary community right now. Mrs. Walters's foot is on the accelerator and she doesn't seem to be breaking anytime soon. I am here for it all. I am looking forward to the next story in the Berotte family. They are getting hotter and hotter with each family member. Dylan can now expand his family without any question or worry about paternity. Skyler is in it for the long haul more like "a couple of forevers." Get into this series, you will be hooked starting with "Love on Replay." I still feel as if this is a T.V. series playing out in books.

Dylan Dylan!!

I loved this story!!!! Dylan learned a good lesson but when he learn3d that love makes you feel good he turned it all the way up! Skyler was worried but she listened to her heart and her spirit and found her forever! This book was sexy and funny and taught you some things.

When you are ready for love, nothing can stop you!

Dylan never settled down because he never experienced love but when he came across it, he was ready. Even with all his drama, he knew that something was different with Skyler. I’m glad she was open to allow him to love her the way she deserved and he allowed her to do the same.

Now, I know Shyrón has to be next because I need to know what’s going on with him and Brittany.

What love feels like

I'm enjoying the Berotte's. Dylan was the quiet reserved baby boy of the family. He was a self proclaimed fboy. He was an ugly duckling that flourished in college. From then on he had no desire to be in a relationship. After a scare, he decided to chill from all the extra. Just as he was trying to get himself together his future walked into his life. He had a choice to ignore the crazy connection he was feeling for her or wait until his issues were resolved. The connection was much too strong so he acted on it.
Skyler was in transition and had a lot going on in his life. Her new job brought her face to face with Jesus 2.0 and she knew she had to have hom. This description took me all the way out cuz I could literally picture his heavenly dark brown skin with the waves on swim. To say he was fine was an understatement. He had poor Skyler mesmerized on day one.
Their situationship starts out a little rocky, but they eventually make their way back together. Needless to say as Skyler put it Dylan was extremely talented in the bedroom and everytime they connected it was off the chain.
What I liked about them the most was they were a safe place for each other. They could be vulnerable, sad, or happy but as long as they were together they pushed forward. Together they both discovered what love really feels like.

I think we will get Shy's story next since his frama was highlighted.

When I tell you I have been eating this series up. We just started off strong with this one lol. Dylan was doing the nasty from jump. Had all my attention. To find them out that the last time Dylan and Chanell had sex was when she told him she was pregnant by her actual husband is wild. She ended their situationship, and he calmly bowed out, but for some reason she could let that man go. That girl was Petty Labelle for no reason. She had Dylan sliding down walls and punching air. You could tell that baby was not going to be his just from how she was acting towards the paternity test. When you hear how Dylan was slinging that thang thang it makes sense she was going crazy. That man said “ Let me take you higher” like I beg your pardon. I didn’t expect to feel bad for Chanell at any point in time in this book. Even though she was acting beyond crazy. It took Isaiah reaching out to her in a dark time to help her realize that she needed to let her past hurt go. Mr. Fontenot you ain’t shit. TWENTY FIVE YEARS?! Under the jail. Monica Walters writes the perfect Insta loves with all the drama. Even though Skyler got on my nerves at one point I love her and Dylan’s relationship. Everything was just everything.

I loved this so much. Dylan and Skyler melted my heart. Dylan's trouble had me scared of him connecting with Skyler and it backfired like I thought. But he was patient, and kind, and knew when to apologize and leave things be. I was happy Skyler decided to slow down and just feel out the situation and her instincts. I thought the situation with her parents was going to disturb their groove; I'm so happy it didn't. Dylan was all the way in from the beginning with no hesitation and that made me happy. I loved them. Loved.

The way his family was there to keep him from making his problems worse, and the way he knew he could lean on them. This family is growing, and I can't wait to read who's next, lol. Seeing Axton and Alexz go further in their love, and seeing Nissa and Sheldon go further too made me so happy. I felt like I wanted to be at their barbecue. Chanell was out of pocket, but I'm glad she got some help. Dylan and Skyler leaning on each other was so great. Their sweetness and passion for each other was really nice too.

DYLAN, DYLAN, DYLAN

Dylan was the ultimate player who refused to heed the warnings that his actions come with consequences until reality set in and turned his world upside down. Chanel was a conniving little thing who irked my nerves. She was determined to have Dylan by any means necessary only for it to backfire on her. Skyler and Dylan meeting may not have been at the right time with his drama going on but you couldn't deny their attraction and chemistry. I was glad Skylar didn't give up on Dylan and stood by his side. The Berotte's have been going through their fair share of drama but one thing they will always do is have each other's back.

Love at first sight

Dylan and Skylar had instant chemistry. No matter what was trying to keep them apart, they still wanted each other. Dylan had a scare that completely changed him for the better and so far I think he's my favorite but we'll see, that may or may not change. Chanel irked my soul so bad and I did feel sorry for her when she told her truth but she still didn't do all that she did. This family is goes through their fair share of things but they always have each other's backs. I can't wait for the next one.

Dylan’s Story

Although I knew Dylan had a thing for trashy Chanell, I did not expect his life to get this kind of jolt. When he met Skyler at his families function, it was love at first sight. As the rest of the story unfolds, and Skyler started her new job with Shyron Berotte, the tale picks up expediently. The typical amount of intimate encounters grace the pages in this story. The edition had several layers and you will see why family matters most, at the end of the day.

Monicaaaaaaa! You haven’t missed thus far with the Berotte book series! I loved Dylan & Skylar’s relationship from beginning to the beautiful end! The connection was beyond intense from DAY ONE! May I say that the relationship that the Berotte men have with their father is unparalleled & is always written so perfectly in each book so far. It’s so inspirational to read about the relationship between a black man & their father! Slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite authors!!!!

Those Berottes are something

I absolutely loved reading Dylan and Skyler’s story! He was going through it with and Sky breezed in captured his heart. While their story had its hiccups, I was so happy it worked out for them! I can’t wait to see who’s next—I’m hoping it’s Shy! He seems so blunt that I’m readily interested in seeing how he handles his women.

This book was good but Dylan is not going to be a favorite. While I loved the old car connection between Dylan and Skylar, that was it for me on the chemistry. They were definitely hot between the sheets, or wherever they got it in, but that was where it started and stopped for me. Skylar and her family, minus Julius of course, fit right in with the Berotte clan and its honorary members. We have seen that d@mn Shy take a big role in each story and I can't wait for his. On to the next one!

Whew Dylan!! He really knew how to have some drama following him!

Dylan definitely was living a young ninja lifestyle without any care and very recklessly but that Chanell definitely took the cake. Little momma was on a whole nother level!! There were many times were I was rooting for someone to knock some sense into her each time she popped up to stir up some drama. Skyler was exactly what Dylan needed though I was disappointed in her at one point. Skyler had me in tears with how excited she was when Shy offered her the position. God makes a way when we least expect it! I'm excited for the rest of the siblings stories!!

This title is perfect because readers will not forget the aww moments, the oh moments, the clutch my pearls moments or the laugh out loud moments! Dylan and Sklyer had chemistry from the very moment they laid eyes on each other. Dylan had so much baggage that most people--especially a successful attorney--probably would have run for the hills. Skyler tried to run, but the pull between the two of them was too strong. When it's meant to be, it just is, and even Chanell's trifling behind couldn't figure out a way to destroy what Dylan and Skyler were building.

I truly loved this book. Dylan and Skyler had combustibles relationship that explosive all over these pages of this book. This story was hilarious, loving and disappointment in her dad’s actions. The Baby dram was something that you have read for yourself. Great work Mrs. Monica Walters. Thank you.
