When Griff is forced to work with Sam, aka the most frequent cause of his headaches, it goes nothing like he expects. Especially with Sam looking at him in a way that makes him break all his own rules. Including the ones that have kept him from entertaining the idea that Sam could be interested in him. He’s been hurt so many times that he’s sworn off relationships, but if there’s one man who can make him change his mind, it’s Sam.
Getting into trouble is Sam’s specialty and Griff always ends up being the one patching him back together. That doesn’t help to squash the crush he’s had on the guy for years. He never thought Griff would want him, but when the man makes it clear that he does, holding back isn’t an option. Falling for Griff is easy. Making Griff believe it, though? It’ll take a lot of convincing but, fortunately, Sam is anything but a quitter.
With a great threat looming over their club and their brothers, there’s already much at stake for them, but is Griff ready to risk it all on giving Sam a chance?
Ana Night is a writer of suspenseful gay romance. She’s an avid reader who has loved the written word since she discovered it. When she was a kid, she never went anywhere without a notebook. She was always writing, be it in the backseat of the car, between classes in school, or by the pool on vacations.
Ana is a self-proclaimed expert in hugging, people climbing and especially ugly dancing. When she’s not writing, you can find her with her nose buried in a book, singing and dancing, watching her favorite TV shows, or creating book covers.
Ana lives in Denmark where she spends most of her time running from her ninja kitty—that one goes for the ankles—and getting lost in the woods with her horse.
I don't remember the first two books in this series being this badly written. I mean.. they weren't, were they? But if that's the case... then what the hell went wrong with this book? Because the writing here was definitely awful. It genuinely made me cringe.
I feel like we really just dove head first into this whole thing. There was no build-up or true connection within the relationship, we hardly even got to know the characters, the plot was completely half-arsed, and everything was just so empty. I was honestly bored the entire time.
I'm not even going to lie: this book was really bad.
I have read all the books in this series and so far this one is the best one for me. Griff and Sam are attracted to each other but don't act on it. The chemistry between these can be seen throughout the book and I wasn't disappointed. Their book is romantic, sexy and steamy, love/hate relationship, witty, some intense moments, and action-packed and I read it in one sitting. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
Griff is grumpy club brother with protector gene a mile high, he'd a dad that put everything he could to his daughter Mia and what he had left went to and for his brothers - to me - seems like he doesn't really have a personal life. He's put it on hold because everything he has goes to Mia or the club. However more and more Roadkill crawls his way through the walls Griff has build. This book is one of my favorites of this world. I loved how their story started and developed. I love how Griff is being an ass and keeps cursing Sam when he hurts himself yet he's the one patching the guy up. I got many laughs.

In the previous book, I said I would continue reading the next books in the series even though I thought it would be more of the same. I'm happy to see that I was wrong. It wasn't an epic evolution, but man, it was much, much better. I didn't hate the last book, I just found it the same as the previous ones, since the middle of the Salvation Kings MC series, so it was a bit frustrating.
In this book, although it didn't have as much action, it had more, "it was more" in line with what I expect a book about an outlaw motorcycle club to be. There was romance, yes, but there was also action, a hint of suspense, drama, gunshots, drama, sex, drama, evil enemies who rub their hands together when they think they're winning, but in the end they end up getting screwed. It was good.
What was missing? Investing more in the development of these plots with the "villains/rivals" would make the book more interesting, would give it more action and suspense, would bring a better dynamic and more excitement to the reading. I know these are not angsty books, and honestly, that's what I like most about them. I want to read a good, exciting, action-packed book, without angsty reading. I know it's possible. But the danger presented to the characters doesn't seem real, you know (within the idea of it being a work of fiction). You'd think that people who do what's described in the books would be in more danger, get hurt more, have more adventures. At times, it seems like grandmas' crochet club, only with more alcohol and sex.
Here we have Griff, VP of the club, single father, abandoned by his ex, abandoned by his parents, with serious abandonment issues, construction worker and sexy outlaw biker. His partner for this adventure is Sam, aka Roadkill, aka RK, clumsy outlaw biker, and that's it. These authors need to learn how to describe the physical characteristics of the characters, their appearance, and stop thinking that just because they have an idea of what they look like in their heads, readers will see the same thing. I hate that forever.
Sam has loved Griff since he joined the club, but he didn't do anything about it because he believed that Griff wouldn't want anything to do with him. Griff has loved Sam for the same amount of time, but he didn't act because he thought that Sam wouldn't want anything to do with him, since he's a 33-year-old man with abandonment issues. They go to work together, their passion explodes, they make out, everyone knows and pretends they don't know, they think no one knows and continue making out where anyone can see. The action is taken by the corrupt councilman who beats up his wife, who appeared in the previous book. There's that intimidation thing going on like little groups in high school, one on one side showing off their dance moves and the other on the other side showing off theirs. The villain pulls a stunt, but the good guys go and do their thing, they're badass and they end it all. The end.
I liked the book. 4 stars, since here I only get full stars. But in reality it was 4.5.
Griff is a great addition to the King's Disciples MC series and I really enjoyed it. It is well written, fast paced, gritty, full of action, funny, the characters are amazing and I love the storyline. Sam and Griff are exactly what the other needs but Griff is determined to keep Sam at a distance even though he cares for him a lot more than he is willing to admit. Sam does everything he can to annoy and engage Griff just so he can have a little of his attention. I like how their relationship evolves as they have a strong connection and smoking hot chemistry. There are a few interesting twists and turns in the story, it's great to see how well the couples from the previous books are doing and I can't wait to read the next book in this exciting series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I loved this book. I think that this might be my favorite in the series, and that’s saying a lot because I really loved Texas. I don’t think I have read a better “enemies to lovers” and opposites attract book than this one. Griff and Sam were hot together and I can’t wait for the next book in the series, though it will have a lot to live up to with “Griff” setting the bar high.
Wow this whole series is amazing and hwat! I love these guys and their brotherhood they stand together come whatever but the sex and the openness is what gives me all the feels I love the happy endings even if the conflict almost always makes me cry (every time I reread the book)
As good as the others in the series, but really let down by bad editing. Most of the time it was understandable typos, but sometimes, I had no idea what the word was mean to be.
King's Disciples MC Book Three, this is another really great adventure well worth reading, Ana Night a very good author l look forward to reading more from Ana
I loved Sam, he’s such a sweetie and once Griff pulls his finger out he’s a great match for him. I’m looking forward to seeing where the series goes next.
This book has all the steamy hot hate sex you ever wanted. These two do not get along in their everyday life but man do they have a chemistry that just won’t quit. You can feel the heat and the smoke coming off the page. And the action sequences mixed in throughout will keep you engaged the whole way through. This is another great addition to this series and leaves you more than ready for the next book.
Griff was 33 yo who had 16 yo daughter. He knocked his gf up when he was only 17. He did the right thing, married his gf but when their daughter was 9 yo his wife wanted a divorce. Since then, Griff was the one who raised her and woved to never let his daughter down. He dedicated his life for her and his club so no romance in his life.
Sam aka Roadkill was 24 yo old who loved Griff since they met for the first time. Griff felt the same way but he was insecure because not only Sam was younger than him, he had Mia, his daughter to think about.
Their relationship wasn't smooth sailing so when they finally got together, it was worth it.
Will Kai, a merc turned assassin, be Steel's love interest? I hope so.
