A Contemporary, Billionaire, Omegaverse Reverse Harem Romance.
The alphas own this world, and I’m an omega trying to fake it.
For five years, I hid among the alphas with success as I watched and learned how they and betas operated. But I was still an omega regardless of the suppressants I took, and no tablet could take away my omega needs. Those needs I found catered for in the safety of a beta nightclub. But one night, I weakened and wanted the wrong man. It was close, and I thought I had a lucky escape.
Until I came eye to eye with my new alpha boss.
It turned out there were three of them—Jackson, Luca, and Cruz and they wanted me for their pack. But when I finally met the final one of the three, I scented him and knew he was involved in the loss of my family. So, for now, I let them think they’d found the omega for their pack while I worked out who they really were. Because once I knew for sure, I’d retaliate for my loss. But that was easier said than done, especially when I knew these alphas were my mates?
Could I fight my instincts for long enough to get the answers that I craved? Or was I walking back into the trap I escaped?
The problem here was the execution, not the plot per se. There were holes and continuation problems throughout the book. I felt like the author had too many ideas but was not able to fully developed a few of them. I think this can be a good author, but maybe she needs some beta readers for the next books.
Also forcing the h to puke a medication because you don't like it? Not ok and the issue was barely spoken of (like so many of the subplots).
I had been excited for this book because it had been on my may tbr but once I reread the summary I was a little put off and I remembered I hadn’t previously like the other books in the series, but still decided to read it anyway. Now I wish I didn’t. The beginning starts off awesome I really like it and thought it would only get better but the FMC goes from hating alphas to completely accepting and then that pack? There are three guys but with the way it is written only two are the main guys. Then I hated Sandy she was basically saying I like you I don’t care you don’t and even if u don’t want it i’m still gonna take you and it felt very rapey. The FMC was hella week and flipped back and forth so much I couldn’t keep up. By like 40% I was already skimming and then I just gave up.

So, book two of the Get Knotted Omegaverse. Again, same with book one, I really enjoyed this book. I think I liked it even more than book one. I had my issues with Blair, as I stated in my review for her book.
But the ending and excerpt at the end of book one, really made me look forward to Tilly's story. I'm not disappointed. The author wrote a fantastic Omegaverse.
I liked Tilly. She is brave and strong-willed. And intelligent. Despite her traumatic past, she found her way in life. She works and still tries to find her mother and sister. The story around that event picked my interest. And I wanted to know what's going on and why it happened.
After meeting the pack, it was more interesting. Because I knew Cruz was part of the mystery. It wasn't what I expected. But it's mostly the case, when I'm reading. Some parts are easy to guess, but not all.
Still, it wasn't entirely perfect and without flaws. Though, I don't rate mistakes and grammar. As I stated in other reviews many times, making mistakes are humanly. And humans aren't machines. We are bound to make mistakes, and even with proofreading, not all are found. So, I give a free pass. And I'm more rating after what the book left me feeling in the ending. I still try to rate objectively, but honestly every rating will be at some point be subjective, too.
So, I don't try to say it's all objective. But back to topic. As I said, it wasn't without fault. It's nothing big. But for example, as I said, I admired Tilly being so strong-willed and all. Still, sometimes it was too much. I mean, she wanted answers. And Cruz tried to talk to her during the book. But she always keeps running. I get it, she was probably scared, and the story couldn't reveal too soon. But it comes across as artificially prolonged. And there are a lot of questions, that are open. The story ends too abrupt. She gets the whole story, and then it's over. No gang is after her anymore. She is claimed and then it's HEA. And it's okay. Don't get me wrong.
But still I wished it to be more well-rounded or more explained? But that are only little points. The epilogue is good. I liked seeing them as a family. Still, again. It's always a hint to the next book, Georgie's story. And I hope the unanswered questions here are answered in the next. I don't know how much books are planned in this series. Though, there are possibilities. Isla for example. But we'll see.
Evie Ellis is a new to me author and I think she may become a regular in my TBR.
This was a new experience for me. I absolutely love shifter books so the fact this had all the terminology without any of the actual shifting was new. I mean there are books about shifters that can’t shift but this was far from that. Basically, it’s like normal life but everything has a different terminology, more relative to Shifters and wolves. I found it absolutely fascinating.
While reading its really easy to conjure up a fantasy world with actual shifters, but I found it was just as easy to not imagine all that and just picture reality. I’m not gonna lie, if this was some type of reality in the multiverse, I would want to live in it because I need me a wolf pack. Just the devotion, passion and soul deep love are something I can definitely be on board with. I absolutely love their Unit. Their dynamic is well balanced, each bring something uniquely theirs to the ‘pack’ and as you read its almost like they function as magnets. Its great to see. Their banter, passion and chemistry is amazing also. I have absolutely fallen for this incredible trio and Tilly is great as the heart of them all.
The plot is great. It was easy to follow, well times twists and turns and I enjoyed not being able to predict every little thing that would happen. It was an enjoyable read and I am definitely going to check out the rest of the books in the series. Great world build. Great balance of reality and otherworldly in some places and I like how the terminology used wasn’t too out of place with the setting this book takes place. Definitely a well worth read for all looking to experience shifter romance in a new way.
Look, I get trauma manifests differently for different people. This fmc is a dumba** however. There are people actively trying to kidnap you, why do you insist on going places alone?? You keep escaping the people who are trying to keep you safe and if that situation happened to me, I would have demanded answers upfront, ESPECIALLY, if the alleged gang member was my fated mate. The storyline drug on for way to long and the fact that you don’t find out that her sister is ok is kind of bull sheet. The spicy scenes were non existent bc her trauma and why the fck did they ever let Sandy come to the house?? I’m assuming that Sandy tried to claim her but it’s not really specified. I really dislike how a lot of things took place off scene. Like James the douche of an ex was murdered??? However we don’t know for sure, he was just taken care of or handled, I think is the way it was put. Then there were times random men appeared and it just so happened to be her mates? It was jarring and broke the flow of the story IMO. It took FOREVER to have Cruz explain himself and honestly why did they drag their feet? ‘She’s not ready yet.’ Like who are you to decide what kind of info I’m ready for or not?? Especially when this refusal to divulge the info is putting your fated mate in harms way?? So many illogical things happening. This book is a fluff and if you aren’t looking for super cohesive story, then this is the book for you.
I just feel as thought this book was all over the show. The blurb makes it seems as though she's digging for answers about her family once she recognises the man that was there the night her mum and sister disappeared, but she doesn't do any of this.
In reality, it was just all pointless back and forth, not even good chemistry, until they take her to her mum where they'd been hiding her (to be honest at that stage I'd be PISSED because they've made her believe she was alone for 5 years, 5 years of suffering what a joke) and then she's all like yes you did everything to protect me I love you (what a load of crap)
She's written as this character that seems badass, but one minute she's like, I'll let them think I'm submitting to be their omega and the next she's begging for them to mate her and being all whiny in the same sentence like I was confused. The book also desperately needed to be proof read. For example, at 63% she days 'I was a fool for taking suppressants' when Jackson literally forced his fingers down her throat to make her vomit (didn't like that at all) and the next page Tilly stated 'I needed suppressants', like girl what do you want?
Just a lack lustre book but I liked the idea of the concept - too much in a stand alone.

Tilly or Matilda has been in hiding for the last five years, after what happened to her mother and sister she is very cautious. After smelling the scent of one of the men who took them, she is more determined to hide to keep safe. But what happens when the beta company she is working for is taken over by alphas, 3 of them and there scents have her in a panic.
Cruz, Jackson and Luca have taken over the company. A pack that has been waiting for their omega, only she doesn't know that she is their omega since she is in hiding. Each has their own time with her and before long they realize a secret could make her run, then she's gone.
"All I wanted was to protect her, claim her, love her, and mate with her."
Phew, that was an intense one. A bit more thrilling than Blair's book. However I did love the continuation from the previous book and we get the full story on what happened. Maybe hiding and keeping to yourself is a good thing especially in this world since omegas are regarded so highly simply for their perfume. I never expected the true story of the events that happened in book 1 but I am glad that we got that in this book. Another omega who wants and gets her pack. I had wondered back in book 1 if the stranger with the silver eyes would be someone we would see again and wouldn't you know, we got exactly that plus some.
"She loved our family. But more than anything, she embraced this pack."
Now onto Isla, and definitely cannot forget about Georgie. My heart broke for Saint, to be without that one you love the most is horrible and to see him feeling like giving up was tough. I hope we get answers to that in the next book or hints at least.
Oh man, this book felt like it was about 1500 pages, not in a good way. The story started so strong, and I was really excited to read it!
...and then the plot petered off into obscurity. Nothing happened! The plot progression started dragging so badly. It was like slogging through a swamp of doom! I couldn't take it.
So this girl hates alphas. She desperately hates alphas. She hates alphas so bad, she doesn't even have words to describe how much she hates alphas. Do you understand that she hates alphas?? DO YOU?!?!
None of us must understand her hatred of alphas because the author makes sure to shove it down our throats so forcefully and repeatedly.
Finally, FMC decides she likes two alphas in the pack but not the last one. So she spends the rest of the book (until 85%) trying to get the two guys in the pack to kick out the third guy, which was really sad because I might have liked Cruz the best. He was so sweet and caring and protective...and she shit all over him for most of the book.
This was one of the crappiest Omegaverse stories I've ever read.
Life as an omega in this “omegaverse” seems particularly challenging. The story revolving around Tilly, Cruz, Jackson and Luca had just so many hidden dimensions! I really enjoyed the revolving POV, getting to know each of the characters more intimately. The alpha-omega dynamic plus the suspense stemming from when Tilly lost her family kept mr feverishly reading on. While there were some more serious themes, I really felt they were presented tastefully and in ways that added to the story. In the end, watching such sweet caring guys make Tilly the center of their world was soooo satisfying!
I received an ARC and am voluntarily sharing my honest review.
So, I have been a sucker for all of the book recs I get in tiktok. This is one of those books for me. I enjoyed it. I liked the story. But it is one I won’t want to reread and so it is rated 3 stars for me.
Tilly hides her Omega scent and lives her life as if she was a Beta until she meets 3 alphas that she can’t hide from. One is from her past and she needs to find out what happened all those years ago.
It was an enjoyable book. I am still fairly new to omega verse and there are things that I need to get used to but I did enjoy the story.
I am very confused... it says 5 years later but everything is 4 years later.... she's chilling with these three even though she knows they were there when her mom n sister were taken and her dad was murdered... then it jumps to a dinner and an ex... Then she trusts one of the guys that supposedly kidnapped and murdered members of her family for a solo date; that's also a group date? Then she goes off alone with one and kisses him?????? then same believed to be dude is taking her alone to a gym for self defense... this is all the first 95 pgs.
So basically you get the point great ideas just a lot of jumping around and no context to each situation.

XXX! ADULT CONTENT, READER DISCRETION ADVISED. Fully has lived in hiding since the night her father was murdered and her mother and sister were taken. Cruz, Luca and Jackson have been waiting for the five years since that fateful night to claim her. Before they can claim her they need to tell her truths from that night. Will she be able to accept them after the truth is revealed?
I had to dnf this book. The plot idea was amazing, but while reading I sometimes felt like I accidentally skipped pages only to realize that it's the writing that skips. It is super confusing on how we get from one scene to the next with characters there who never got mentioned before? The dialogue between the guys feels unnatural and only a three sentences to further the plot thing.
Really sad about that but I just couldn't go through with it to the end.
This book needs some editing. There are multiple grammar issues (wrong words, typos not related to British spelling) and strange plat designs that just didn’t work for me.
Also I personally hate when characters know who their mates are, yet still sleep around (it’s too close to cheating imo)
I saw the synopsis on TikTok and thought this was going to be awesome, I even decided to read the first book in the series to have context for this one…which was stupid of me. The characters make asinine decisions constantly most of which are so far from comprehension that I can’t imagine any person regardless of situation and trauma making these choices.
This is an a bad book. It had potential, but didn’t live up to it. The proof reading was less than average. And the storyline didn’t tie up some things that needed addressed. I’m hoping the next book does. We needed more of the backstory with Tilly’s mom. But I will read the next book because I want to know what happens.🔥🔥🔥🔥/5
Loved this book!! And it kept me on my toes trying to figure out what going to happen, was she going to stay hidden….who were those masked me… and then all of that hotness and whew! Lots of smexy times, and all the heat and dirty talk you need!!
This was great. I love how Tilly has some cracks in her armor and how she is reluctant to have a pack. The guys Perdue her and never give up on her. I can’t wait for Georgie’s story.
Tilly is such an awesome omega and has such a unique story. Watching as everything begins to be answered and fall into place for her was an adventure. I can't wait to see what her sister's story holds and if she will see her again.
2.75 stars First half was good, but the resolution to the conflict was so quick, badly explained, felt rushed in the story, that it really hurt the book. Oh and the boom ended at like 75% because the rest was just sex and epilogs..........
Would read other books by this author in the future.
I finished it, but spent a lot of time feeling meh about it. I think the author could really benefit from some beta readers because several plots were left hanging or never fully developed. It seemed like she had too many ideas and it left me being confused trying to follow some things.
Honestly I tried to finish this book I really did. There were times when I thought hey were getting somewhere and then nothing. There's pretty much 0 character development. The idea for the plot is there bur ibfelt like it was majorly laking in how it actually plays out.
This was OK. It started really interesting, but then the whole secret was dragged out way to0 long. There's just no way that she wouldn't have insisted on getting answers sooner. "She's not ready" felt very condescending.
Tilly’s story is great. I love the character development and love created in this read. It is a stand alone but the characters make appearances in the authors other works
Started off good but then it got all muddled and confusing. I didn’t like the back and forth with “we’ll tell you the truth” and the whole Sandy and her pack part was just weird.
