3.5 What He Demanded Stars ⭐
Mmm, if you're up for a steamy taboo novella, I'm thinking Unbroken will hit the spot. When 18 year old Lucy gets kissed by a random stranger, she never expected it would haunt her in the form of her boyfriend's father, Weston. They may not hook up immediately, but when they do, it's damn sexy and primal.
“You like that, don’t you?” he says, slapping a palm to my ass again. “Oh, Little Dove, we’re going to have so much fun.”
Lucy knows that her relationship with her boyfriend isn't heading anywhere serious but there is a level of comfort and security in it. Yet it isn't till months later on a family camping trip, that things fall apart and she lands where she's secretly wanted; on Weston's lap / dick; same same!
The idea of hunting her down has my pulse racing and my dick hardening.
I warned her. I like the chase, and more than that, I live for the capture.
My Little Dove doesn’t know what she has started, but she will.
Unbroken had real potential. Not many authors can write sex that actually get you hot and bothered, and these did. However I felt like a chunk of the story was missing. There was no lead up to Weston and Lucy getting together apart from a stolen moment. Had this been full length, I think the author would have nailed it.

If you like "Birthday Girl" by Penelope Douglas, this novella is for you. I probably could give it higher rating if not that Weston was a walking red flag. I mean he has two failed marriages and almost kissed a teenager.

2.5 stars. Meh. This novella doesn’t have much in the way of plot, or characters that feel fleshed out. But if you’ve already read Birthday Girl and Praise and you want another take on the “heroine gets with her boyfriend’s dad” trope, this story exists. This one doesn’t even bother pretending that the dad cares about his son, which is funny…but also, when that part is barely an obstacle, it takes away from the “forbidden” feel of it. When it’s an age gap between a 40 year old man and an 18 year old girl, I also need more of a sense on why they like each other. This had an instalove vibe, especially on his end.
Birthday Girl isn't the only story that's allowed to do the "boyfriend's dad" trope, obviously....but until I read another version of it that's good quality, this makes me once again conclude that you'd be better off just reading Birthday Girl instead.

I loved our FMC, Lucy was relatable, and I empathized for the bullshit she had to deal with. This seems to be the first in an interconnected stand alones and I plan on reading all of them. Carson, Ash, and Pacey all intrigued me.
This was a quick, spicy read, that hit all the right spots. I highly recommend.

When she goes to meet her boyfriend’s Father she finds out it’s the guy at the bar she was attracted to and kissed. 7 months later they go on a camping trip and she catches her boyfriend cheating with his stepsister. She decides to act on her attraction to Weston and there ensues lots of smexy taboo times all the way to the happy ending.

I really enjoyed this! this was short, fun and steamy as hell! i felt connected to this story which is very rare for me with novellas but it was a great time. It has primal kink, bf’s father trope, it takes place while the family’s camping and there was some GREAT forbidden, sneaking around moments! SO HOT!!

Ehh. Good quick read, especially if you’re into bf/ex-bfs dad. Quick and straight to the point. It does unfortunately, as with most books with this trope, include cheating. A pretty abrasive scene where she watches her bf fck his stepsister. And a bunch of vitriol from the bf character when everything comes to light. But all things considered, I did still enjoy it. Oh also, can we chill with the overuse of pet names? This guy couldn’t go more than 2 sentences without calling her “little dove”.

I absolutely have no words! This book was amazing. I fell in love with the characters and their story was amazing. But my all time favorite was Weston, I love his character and how he treats Lucy when his own son didn't treat her how she should have been treated. I cannot wait to see them in upcoming books! The epilogue was amazing and made me fall in love with Pacey! I cannot wait to see his story! I wouldn't change anything about this book because it was so good. However I do wish that it was a little bit longer. Amazing read, and highly recommend! Especially if you love the age gap trope!

This is a quick fun, steamy little novella that checked all the boxes for me. My beef with novellas/short books is that there is never enough back story or depth to the characters because you don't have enough pages to get to know them. Sutton Snow accomplished that in this story, regardless of the page count. Now, there was definitely more this story could have unpacked, but that wasn't really the purpose of it and that's why I loved it!
It is boyfriend's dad trope, along with primal, and age gap which are some of my absolute favorites! The smut was great and the writing was really engaging/easy to read! I had a lot of fun with this one and I know you will too!

This book was good!! Taboo, age gap and boyfriends dad. All the best things to make a spicy novella. Weston is perfect and doesn’t beat around the bush we knows what he wants and takes it. I was hooked into this story from chapter one.

This was a good pallet cleanser between larger novels. It's a novela, so don't go into this book expecting deep character development or a slow burn. This is a fast-paced age gap romance with nearly all spice.

I enjoyed it , it wasn’t as smutty as i wouldn’t have wanted and i cringed and questioned why when the fmc started touching herself when she saw the two “random” people fucking, i was like girl be fr. But it was still good 😋😋

Lucy learned at a young age she needed to take care of herself and be strong. Weston is everything. A chance meeting sets them down a path neither was expecting or looking for. Some would call it fate.
The woods. And the tent? Oh baby. Both scenes will stay in my mind for some time.
My only complaint is I didn’t want this to end. But now I’m ready for Pacey’s story. Bring it on.

This was quick and dirty. Hot hot hot. Need I say more?
Lucy learned at a young age she needed to take care of herself and be strong. Weston is everything. A chance meeting sets them down a path neither was expecting or looking for. Some would call it fate.
The woods. And the tent? Oh baby. Both scenes will stay in my mind for some time.
My only complaint is I didn’t want this to end. But now I’m ready for Pacey’s story. Bring it on.

Looool this is the most unrealistic fucking thing ever 😭 I mean I devoured it, I read it purely because it was taboo, it was spicy, it was full of drama so it did the job I wanted it to do really 🤣 but fucking your boyfriends dad because you found him sleeping with his step sister ??? Honestly worst dad literally ever tho, when her boyfriend found out (Malcom) his dad (Wes) just was like ehh, get over it you’re fucking your step sister 😭😭😭
They made out to be deeply in love within the first 5 seconds of knowing each other, but eh whatever I didn’t read it for the plot.
Wild. Definitely not very realistic but if you want a quick read full of spice in a tent whilst camping with absolutely no explanation to anything at all then go ahead 🤣

Ok this book. It drew me in, and didn’t let go. I had to finish it, and could not put it down. And I absolutely loved it. It was a super quick, great read. And I loved these characters. Lucy meets Weston in a bar, while she’s looking for her mother. Little does she know, the man that kisses her, and sets her entire body on fire with that one kiss, would end up being the father of her boyfriend. For months, she has to hide her attraction to him. I’m telling you this book.. it’s short, but boy does it pack the heat. I needed a glass of water while reading it. Definitely recommend this book!

actually would rather die than relive the memory of this book. so horrifically bad in many ways. first of all she catches her boyfriend fucking his stepsister and masturbates over it not realising its them. then she bumps into his dad and fucks him, next to her boyfriend and his stepsister. im all for fucking dads but this was SO BADLY WRITTEN. made tears want to pour out my eyes until they blurred and i couldn’t see the writing anymore.
