Rachel and her family continue to suffer under the possibility of Lynch coming back into their lives and doing harm and that the brain cancer will kill her. At the same time, she and Jack are put on the search of a serial killer that drugs his victims, puts them in coffins, and leaves them underground to suffocate. They find the culprit, however, it's impossible to know how many he had killed that way. Once back at the FBI HQ Jack goes to take a shower and is surprised by the presence of Lynch. It's a struggle of life or death, who will survive? Will Rachel be able to help? This book could receive 5 stars, but I didn't give them because it needs better proofreading. I thank the author for the ARC.

Her Last Desire... Rachel Gift... Getting Even More Exciting
This is another Rachel Gift Suspense Thriller. Jack and Rachel are on the case of an unsub burying his victims in a wooden box that is supposed to be like a coffin ⚰️. They find the serial killer and they are not so happy because they get their person but don't know if they found all of his victims. Then they go back home and have to deal with Alex Lynch 😭😞😊🤗. I still need to really know that he won't show up again. This is a good read 👍🏾.

Really enjoying this series! Loving the main character and her partner. Storyline is great. Glad this doesn't have the cliché "it's not our guy" phrase in these books. Looking for more good series from this author in the future.

grammar and spelling mistakes
Good story. This needs better editing and proofreading, as well a fact checked. There were just a lot of mistakes in the book. It was annoying.

Rachel has reconciled with her father. She & her daughter are asleep when a noise wakes her. She finds Lynch trying to murder her father. After a struggle he gets away and her father is hospitalized. Then Rachel & Jack leave to find a serial killer who is burying his victims in boxes on construction sites. They finally catch him and get back to Headquarters. But Jack runs into Lynch in the men's room. Rachel hears something, goes in & the fight is on! Will Lynch get away again?
