Heart of the Firefighter
When the lines of friendship are blurred, it can only go one of two ways…
Fierce firefighter and now single mum Callie Williams has one mission in life – making sure her daughter, Alexandra, has a happier childhood than she ever had. Most important in achieving this is having a father. But since Callie’s ex walked out the day he found out she was pregnant, it seems this dream might not happen.
Her close friend and fellow firefighter Andrew Panopoulos has always been there for Callie, even bringing her daughter into the world. Theirs is the one relationship she’s been able to count on her entire life since they met in school. It’s the one constant in her life and she never wants to mess with it. But knowing one day some other woman would definitely scoop him up breaks her heart.
Andrew has always thought of Callie as his best friend, trying to ignore the fact she’s gorgeous and wonderful. He had to stand back while she was in a relationship with another even though it was killing him. Now, she’s single but so vulnerable that he would never do anything but support her through one of her toughest times.
However, it seems a stalker is prowling around the Ballarat area and Callie has received more than one visit. Andrew won’t leave this to chance and will have to spend more time with Callie and Alex, making sure they’re safe. The three of them together begins to feel so much like a family but Andrew knows that’s not the case and must take control of his unruly thoughts.
Then when a kiss between them finally occurs and the goal posts shift, suddenly the relationship they’ve always avoided becomes one that could be real. However, the stalker is still out there and a near tragedy could have everything they’ve started to build coming undone.

This is such a lovely story, a true romance, a friends to lover’s story, pick this one up and come along for the journey to a beautiful HEA and meet two firefighters, single mum Callie Williams and Andrew Panopoulos and a beautiful baby named Alexandra.
Callie’s partner left her high and dry when he found out she was pregnant he wanted nothing to do with a baby, but Callie is strong and has lots of friends even if sadly she has no family, she is a firefighter and those she works with are her family, her best friend Andrew has always been by her side and when she goes into labour he is there to deliver her daughter. Best friends they are and Callie never wants that to change, but does her heart?
Andrew has always been Callie’s best friend, he knows she is beautiful and such a gorgeous caring person and he wants to help her out with little Alexandra, so is always there for her even if he knows that one day someone else will swop her up and with pressure from his Greek family to marry and have children something holds him back, is it Callie, he is so worried about changing the balance with their friendship.
But when there is someone lurking around Callie’s house and Andrew is there more, one kiss and the barrier they have built up is breaking down and when danger arrives in the form of a fire there is nothing that will stop Andrew from making Callie and Alexandra his and his alone. A beautifully written story about such friendship and love, it is one that I would highly recommend.

Oh WOW! What a story!
I loved this friends to lovers, single mother, hot as sin alpha firefighter romance.
The author has captured the situation perfectly and the little baby adds a wonderful dimension to the story.
There's some suspense and drama and this makes for an all round fantastic romance read!

Absolutely love it! What a great read.
The chemistry between H and h is fantastic and the little baby adds a very endearing aspect to the story. Full of sexual tension and some suspense this story is great! Loved every minute of it!

An emotional ride!!!
Best friends to lovers romance is my favorite trope of all. So I have high expectations when reading books under this category. Well, Heart of the Firefighter certainly delivered. Callie and Andrew's friendship is great—and their romance, even more so. They made me feel things, and it was absolutely fun reading their journey to HEA. It hadn't been easy, what with all the drama and suspense, but it was worth it in the end.
PS. Baby Alex is adorable!

Friends to Lovers Romance
This is a really beautifully written book about firefighter, Callie, who made the mistake of getting pregnant to a jerk who leaves her the moment he hears about it. What is lovely is that Andrew, her firefighting best friend from school, slowly but surely fills the gap.

What can I say? I love, love, loved this book!
One of the best romances I've ever read. Both Callie and Andrew are such great characters. Both afraid to make the jump from friendship to more because they value their relationship so much. But fate has other ideas, as does her horrible ex.
Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this book! Callie is a single mom who’s ex dumped her when she became pregnant. Andrew is her best friend who is there for her and actually delivered her baby. Throw in her lousy ex coming back and causing trouble and you get a good read. This was a great best friends to lovers story.

This book is fantastic! I was hooked from page one and the action kept coming. The book starts out with Callie in labor and alone in her home. There is a bad storm outside, and trees are down all over. She called for help and was told the EMT'S would be there as soon as they could. She is a firefighter and knows what to do if she has to go it alone. She calls on a fellow firefighter, Andrew. He lives close by so hopefully he can make it here in time on his motorcycle. When he gets there, he puts her in the bedroom and gets the things he will need for the delivery as Callie is at the pushing stage already. Not too long after he delivers a beautiful baby girl. When the ambulance gets there, they check her and the baby over and take them to the hospital.
When they get home from the hospital Andrew comes over and they try to pick out a name for the baby. Andrew suggests Alexandra, a good strong Greek name. So that was it, Alex for short. Since he had delivered the baby, he felt a very special bond with the baby and Callie too. Callie is having some problems with being the only one to take care of the baby and she is exhausted. Her x-boyfriend Cameron had left her when she told him she was pregnant. So, Andrew helps her as much as he can even taking his turn with the baby when he is not working so Cal can get some rest. He comes from a big Greek family and Callie has no one left since her mom passed away.
So, what will happen now? Will Callie and Andrew admit they have feelings for each other beside friendship? Will they ever get married and have more babies which will make his mom very happy? Will Cal go back to work when her maternity leave is over?
I read this book, so I know the answers and I know you are curious too, so get the book and enjoy reading it. I guarantee you will not regret it!

A heartwarming storyline.
This is a sweet storyline and one that makes you go aww.
Unfortunately the writing style was really difficult to manage and the timeline was very jumpy and a lot of information missed (but you were expected to know).
I enjoyed the storyline, I'm glad Callie and Andrew worked things out to get their HEA.

This book was awesome. The characters flowed amazingly well and the story kept me turning the page. The author knew how to spin the story to keep it entertaining and believable.

Good book. I’m new to this author and picked up this book to expand my repertoire. I’m glad that I did. The characters are well developed. And the story line is good. Overall, I liked the book and will definitely be reading from this author again.

A cute idea for a story, but an unpolished execution.
Also, I'm sure firefighters have specific names for the equipment they use - not just "device." Some research would have come in handy.

Loved this story about 2 firefighters. The single mother and her best friend. Loved the gorgeous baby moments between the baby and the MMC.
