I was hoping this would be a *very* basic introduction that would build upon my basic high school understanding of physics. It's not.
Admittedly, physics has very difficult concepts to grasp at times, as there are elements that themselves have not yet been figured out. I'm fine with that and with the requisite wishy-washiness.
What disappointed me was the assumption of the reader's knowledge by the author, and the author's inability to clearly explain concepts or use appropriate analogies. On several occasions I found myself searching online for definitions and explanations that made sense to me - this could be that I didn't interpret the author clearly, so I don't want to lay the blame exclusively on them.
If you are looking for a simple introduction to quantum physics, avoid this book. This is a strange book that explains quantum physics to people who already know all the building blocks of quantum physics - and would therefore probably read a more advanced book than this.
It wasn't terrible, it just didn't meet my expectations as being "easily accessible" as promised on the blurb.
