I loved this one as much as the first! The Wilder Widows adventures will have you laughing outloud!

Good...but not as good as the first one. Was it just because I knew the four ladies and what to expect out of their reactions to the wild and crazy situations they found themselves in? Or was it that I had unrealistic expectations that their adventures would be even wilder and crazier this time? Probably both. But it was still very good!
I'd still try reading a third one in the series, if there is one...
I was listening to an audiobook for this, and so I couldn't skip the endless repetition that hurts Ms. Hastings' writing. She stresses every point--for example, Sylvie doesn't just love her widowed friends, she loves them and loves them and loves them. That particular point must have been repeated fifty or sixty times. And her husband-to-be isn't just her "true love", her "soul mate", her "missing other half", but all those things in one--over and over again. If all the repetition had been trimmed out of the narrative, it would have been a novella. A very short novella.
But some parts were very good, especially the cruise. I can't go into details, but I really enjoyed the concept and the battle between Alice and "Jessica Rabbit" over the handsome...[can't reveal]...person.
And I have to share one good quote:
the best things in life are just outside of your comfort zone.

A hilarious 5-star romp with the Wilder Widows! Not to be missed!
The Wilder Widows strike again and Wilder Ever After by Katherine Hastings , turns out to be as wild ride as the first novel in the series. I desperately to sip and savor this book like one would treat a fine wine! But one sentence begged me to read another, then a paragraph became pages and before long I finished the book. I laughed, I cried, and now I crave more of these hilarious, quirky widows. I am totally addicted to their antics and it is sad to think that I now must try to wait patiently for the next novel. Such sweet torture.
Katherine Hastings has so much talent a reader does not not just READ "Wilder Ever After", they EXPERIENCE it. Every word, every sentence, every page is a delight to your senses! Katherine has described her widows so well, I daresay I could delineate them to a sketch artist and the world would agree the resulting portraits would be spot-on! Reading "Wilder Ever After" is like watching a Golden Girls sitcom but without the sights and sounds. I laughed, I cried, and contemplated what it would be like to travel the world with the Wilder Widows!
Once again, The Wilder Widows: Wilder Ever After, is the book I would write if I had an ounce of Katherine Hastings talent! It is sad that I may now have to wait for more of their high octane adventures! Please say this is not the last we have heard of the Wilder Widows! I find I crave their high jinks like I crave the sun! So until the next book in the series I will have to be content, (if that is even possible) to clear out my "to be read" shelf!

A book I left through And enjoyed so much
If you want to read a book with love, action And is so funny you wanna read this book. I'm 81 and I found these woman To be the kind of woman I would like to meet someday. They love the adventure they make the best of the worst situation Even while they're angry it's funny. The author has a way with words and you can actually visualize the places they were at and you can feel the hurt and desires within each page of this book.

More Hilarious Adventures with the Wilder Widows
Katherine Hastings did not let up on more hilarious adventures in this book. If you loved the first book, you will love this one, too. I would love to see this story become a movie. Katherine provides enough stories to make several movies. I have laughed so much reading through book 1 and 2. I am starting book 3 immediately! If you need some joy in your life, I highly recommend the Wilder Widows adventures!

My heroines!
I didn't know if Ms.Hastings could do it again but she is the consummate story teller! Oh what a lovely ride this book was too!Every character is precious although at times I wanted to throttle each of them at some point but isn't it that the result of a great book? PLEASE don't make us wait too long for the next and thank you for the laughs again!

really funny heartwarming story something we could all use right now!
I loved this series of books. You really end up feeling like your part of there gang and are exploring life with them.

This is the second book in this series and it's just as good a read as the first book. The four Wilder Widows set out on their annual wild adventures. The women's antics get them in some troubling situations. Lots of laughs and a few tears. I'm looking forward to reading more of their antics.

I literally laughed out loud so many times while reading these two books that I had people staring at me! Which only made me laugh even harder! This was a perfect little set ( together or stand alone) I have told everyone about these hilarious books!

A year after The Wilder Widows finished their first round of wishes, they meet back up for round two!
What a fun adventure with these women!! They are living their best lives and find true loves and true friends! I’d love to meet them!!

Wonderful read
Again the wilder widows did not disappoint. They pick on each other as best friend do and risk their lives for each other as best friends also do. The adventures they go on are so entertaining. I highly recommend this series of books. I anxiously await the release of the next one in September!

This is the second book in this very enjoyable series. Once again, it is time for the widows to head off on their adventures as they each get to fulfil one wish. This year they start on a cruise ship in the Caribbean and end up travelling around Mexico. Very enjoyable characters and a fun storyline. Highly recommended.

I’m not going to lie. After loving the first book sooooo much, I was worried the second book wouldn’t measure up. Sequels are just never quite as good, and it would be hard to capture that thing that made the first book so magical. But I got an advanced review copy, and I’m happy to report, that wasn’t the case with this one! The widows are back and better than ever in book two, and I think I laughed even harder at this one! This book dives deeper into the widows lives, and I absolutely adored the journeys they went on… both physical and emotional. The book is packed with laugh out loud moments, but also so many relatable emotional moments that really hit home for me. This book will make you laugh until you cry, but it also touches you in ways that will leave you looking at your own life and wondering how you can get out to live it to the fullest. At least it did for me. I love these ladies so much, and it felt like a reunion with my best friends as I followed them on their next incredible adventure. This series is a MUST READ if you’re looking to laugh until you can’t breathe and yet have your heart warmed in ways that will stay with you always.

The first book was great, but this one was even better. The widows embark on another adventure (or four), and oh the places they go! I love how the ending leaves you holding on for another new beginning. I really hope to read more adventures soon.

A very Golden Girls style book. Fun and light hearted. Several pages had me cracking up with laughter. Would not read again, however, it does leave me wanting to read the other two books of the series. It’s a great palette cleanser book.
