Ten days. That’s how long Rogue has to find a wife so he can leave again.
When Rogue returns home unattached after a nine-month absence, his father isn’t happy. It’s not Rogue’s fault Bria said they were eloping, and it’s definitely not his fault she returned with someone else. Now Rogue’s father has given him an ultimatum, and Rogue needs to find a woman willing to marry him and let him live his own life while he mourns the loss of the one woman he truly loves.
Then a mysterious stranger with eyes the color of magic shows up and offers him the exact situation he needs, and he must decide how far he’s willing to go to keep his promise to return to the past.
Meanwhile, the magic Rogue has kept hidden all his life starts to manifest in unexpected ways. Will he learn to master it before he endangers the people he loves most? And will love tear down the walls he’s carefully held in place for so long?
Rogue Mage is the second book in the King’s Road Series, an epic romantic fantasy across time. It originally appeared in serial format on Kindle Vella.
This book is not eligible for a bonus star, as it only has chapter numbers, not titles.
As usual with my reviews of fiction, I note, without affecting my rating in any way, of the book's average chapter length is or is not within my preferred range of taking me about 10-15 minutes to read. This was longer, closer to 20 minutes.
I started this series in 6 vella and was pleasantly surprised to find bk 2&3. This series is fun with magic, time walking, and some serious laughter. Ill be looking for more from this author.
