Cornbread and biscuits are a southern tradition. They are the most popular breads in the south. I have never met a southerner who did not love biscuits and cornbread. Biscuits and cornbread are foods I can eat every day. I love them with just about any meal. Every southern cook has their own variation of biscuits and cornbread. These are all my favorite recipes. This book includes numerous cornbread and biscuit recipes but also a few recipes using biscuits & cornbread for casseroles, cornbread dressings, salads and desserts.
I have really enjoyed this book. With regular scratch recipes to jiffy mixes, and bisquick. I tried a few of these recipes, my husband and I really enjoyed how simple they were to make for just the two of us with leftovers for the next day. You can not go wrong.
I have made a few these recipes. Others are like my family’s recipes from reunions & gatherings. 🤗 Looking forward to making the new ones from this book. Thank you so much for the memories of these recipes.
