Mountain Men of Caribou Creek: Gray Sisters #1
Order Up: Love
Order Up: Love: Mountain Men of Caribou Creek Book 4
A Small Town Mountain Man Curvy Woman Romance
Willow
When I left Alaska to chase my dreams, I never thought I’d be back.
But when Grandma Rose summons my sisters and me, it’s a matter of life and death I can’t ignore.
Even if it means possibly running into the man whose heart I broke when I left.
The only man I’ve ever truly loved.
Any hopes of avoiding Mason Reid are quickly demolished when he turns out to be the pilot I hired to fly me to Caribou Creek.
And avoiding the past?
Impossible when an emergency landing strands us in the Alaskan wilderness.
He’s always been the one who feels like home.
But will he still want me when he finds out that the dreams I left him to chase were never realized?
Mason
I knew Willow Gray would come back into my life someday.
She’s always been the one.
When fate throws us together again at last, I’m all in.
But I’m not about to make things easy for her.
She’s guarded.
She’s hiding a secret—I’d bet my plane on that.
Little by little, I’m going to wear her down.
To remind her that she’s always been mine.
That she always will be.
Welcome to Caribou Creek, Alaska. Secluded small town living in the heart of the mountains is not for the faint of heart. But to those who call it home, they can’t imagine being anywhere else. Love runs a little deeper in these parts. It must be something in the water, because the men who’ve sworn to live solitary lives are unable to resist the women who upend their best laid plans and capture their hearts.
This is a sweet & steamy instalove romance with an older mountain man and younger curvy woman. NO cliffhangers. NO cheating. Guaranteed HEA.

A short read that’s just a great palate cleanser. Small town, second chance romance with a timeless classic : they’re stranded in the middle of nowhere and there’s only one bed. I have to say, I was expecting a bigger justification for what Willow did because I don’t see how a person can come back from that. There also didn’t seem to be much effort going into making amends. So I guess that’s why I feel like this is a 3-star read.

Second chance romance.
I liked this short second chance romance story. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. The characters were interesting and likable although frustrating at times. Mason was amazing. He was so forgiving and he didn’t make Willow grovel (which blew my mind). Willow was immature and selfish. Leaving the way she did was so low and hurt a lot of people including Mason and her family. Mason definitely proved that he knew Willow and what her reactions would be. I did like how the story ended even though I felt that Mason deserved better than Willow. There was some drama and some steam. I recommend reading this book as you may like it more than I did.

Selfish Beyond Words . . .
Willow Gray did a despicable thing and left Mason Reid three years ago standing at the altar as she raced off to LA to become a “star”. That didn’t happen. Now her Grandma Rose is asking her to come home to Caribou Creek. And since she never made it big, she will probably stay home this time. But she has one hurdle she will need to jump over. She can’t avoid her ex-fiancé Mason in such a small town. And he turns out to be the first one she sees since he is the pilot contracted to fly her into Caribou Creek. Will he keep her safe after the emergency landing in the wilderness? Will she apologize to him for her callous cowardly decision of leaving him standing at the altar alone on his wedding day? Will he forgive her? Will he convince her he wants her back in his life?
Willow appears to be a chronically selfish person. When unexpected weather conditions arose on the flight to Caribou Creek, and the fog was so dense that Mason could not see, Willow kept insisting he continue on! He needed to concentrate on an emergency landing while she cackled at him like an old hen – or maybe a harpy. Then she had the effrontery to yell at him for thinking he would get “plane sex” by landing in the wilderness, totally oblivious to the dense fog and the fact the bad weather was dangerous. They were stranded until the next morning when it would be safe to leave. But while he is calling the tower for critical information and updates, she thinks only of herself and I have no idea why Mason would ever think about taking her back after what she did. All she left him that day was a quick note. That, to me, is a “burned bridge”. But this is a love story and I guess he can’t forget her.

I've read a lot of books written by Kali Hart; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is part of the Mountain Men of Caribou Creek Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Willow & Mason; she broke his heart when she left Alaska to chase her dreams. Now she’s coming back because of her grandmother; he’s the pilot that she hired and an emergency forces them to land in the wilderness.

This was cute. Not my favorite from this author but it's just a short, nice way to pass the time. I don't see it being memorable for me...but I will continue to read books from this author.

After reading this second chance love story I’m left with mixed feelings. As always there are some steamy scenes between Willow and Mason but the way things ended and started again left me confused.
He was heartbroken after what she did but was likely to immediately take her back after she arrived in Caribou Creek. It felt a bit off.

First and only true loves
This second-chance romance book is about Willow and Mason. While things in L.A. haven’t gone according to plan, Willow is less than happy to be back in her hometown of Caribou Creek, Alaska! But her Grandma Rose has summoned her there – as well as her two sisters. It’s the place she ran out on her fiancé on their supposed wedding day three years ago, so she’s understandably nervous about bumping into certain people.
Mason just happens to be the pilot of the plane she’s taking to Caribou Creek. He’s also the ex-fiance she left at the altar! While things are a little uncomfortable for the both of them, there’s no denying (well, except to each other), that their deep feelings for each other are still very much there! It may take some convincing, sparking old memories and a wonderful grand gesture to prove that fire still burns hot for both of them.
I always enjoy these Alaskan escapades – plenty of fun times to be had at Caribou Creek! It was a sweet and steamy story full of laughs, frustrations, well-meaning family and friends, love and passion. I just wish it hadn’t have ended so soon. I loved these characters! I give this book four and a quarter stars.

This one was a little too angsty for me. Usually when I read a Kali Hart story I walk away feeling good even if there is angst or misunderstandings. I had mixed feelings when I finished this one. I really didn’t like the heroine because of what she did to the hero but I didn’t like the hero either. I know some readers might feel that he was justified in treating her how he did at first and that he did it to win her back but I thought it was manipulative and childish.
However that being said and even though I didn’t like the characters, I couldn’t put the book down because of all the drama. I had to find out how they would resolve their issues. I was somewhat satisfied but still kind of annoyed at them (like I said, mixed feelings). So in the end I suppose I liked it since I couldn’t put it down or stop reading but I still kinda wanted to shake some sense into the characters.
I am looking forward to reading about the heroine’s sisters (Kinley and Aurora) though and I have also liked every other book in this series.

Loved the Story, But REALLY Didn’t Love the Heroine!
Kali Hart’s “Order Up: Love” is the newest of the Mountain Men of Caribou Creek series, and it’s a super steamy second-chance romance novella with a whole lot of emotion poured into it. I adore this series, and Mason Reid, the hunky pilot in this one, is a little intense - especially when he happens to come face-to-face with the ex-fiancee who left him at the altar - and extremely sexy! As much as I loved the tale itself, I had a really hard time liking Willow. I tried…I really did…but her choices, as well as her assumptions, made it difficult. The beautiful actress causes more drama than she ever created on the stage or screen. With that said, we get to see a bit more of the small-town characters that I adore, and the grandmas in this series are flippin’ hilarious! The white-hot chemistry is evident, the sexy bits are blush-worthy, and I am looking forward to more!

The fourth installment of Kali Hart's charming Mountain Men of Caribou Creek series is the fabulous second chance romance Order Up: Love. Three years after leaving Caribou Creek for Hollywood - including her fiancé Mason at the altar - Willow is back in her small hometown at the behest of her grandmother. When Mason is there to meet her - the pilot sent to fly her from Anchorage to their town - the two share an entertaining reunion. Will a steamy reunion with Mason be enough to keep Willow from high tailing it back to sunny California once she sees to her grandmother's request?
Mason is my dream book boyfriend, and what a joy getting to see Willow really find herself. This is a wonderfully entertaining, swoony and steamy second chance short romance!

Amazing, I’m in love!
I think Kali is getting better with each book she writes, and I already thought she was an amazing writer.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Willow for how she left Mason but I definitely forgave her and those two were destined to be together, not just the sex is good (or amazing) but they’re perfect for each other and they make such a beautiful couple, Mason is so sweet and amazing.
You can always trust on Kali’s books to have an amazing couple with a sweet story and sex scenes that are going to make you wet and wish you were the protagonist.
Love this two! And I can’t wait to read the next books in the series and read the love story of Willow sisters.

Willow left Caribou Creek to live her dream of being an actress in Hollywood, but along with the city, she also left her fiancé, Manson, waiting for her at the altar. But, things in LA don't go so well and she returns to her hometown. I believe she deserved the cold treatment she received from Manson and everyone around her. I couldn't identify with her. I think she was selfish and didn't think about anyone when she left town, but to be fair she redeemed herself. Manson is the guy every woman dreams of. Even trying to be cold and make Willow suffer a little to win back his love, he was always loving and protective. A perfect gentleman. I loved the book. It was worth the read.

This is part four of the Mountain Men of Caribou Creek series. This is the story of Willow and Mason. They have a long history of leaving Mason at the altar years ago to pursue her own dreams in the big city. When Willow and her sisters return home because of the fact that their grandma wants to, she doesn't really feel like it because she then has to face Mason again after leaving him standing at the altar. This is actually also a kind of second chance at love and happiness. Despite everything, Mason still loves her and does everything he can to show her that they are entitled to their happiness together after all and that he didn't blame her.

This second chance story play tug-a-war with your heart as Willow returns home and comes face to face with the man she left at the alter to follow her dreams.
Willow's grandmother has requested she and her sister's return home to a place that holds her heart. Her career and dream that she threw away everything for crumbled, the fear and pain of returning was almost as bad.
Even after being left to deal with the fall out, Mason still loved Willow. Seeing her again, his feelings had not changed much. Although the anger had passed, he still wanted a chance to make her his.
Great fast read that with the perfect fireworks between Mason and Willow that grabs you from the start.

Willow left Mason at the altar to run off to become an actress. Now her Gran is calling her back to Caribou Creek and she was coming a failed actress. Mason is her pilot, and she is stunned by how he acts around her. Its not long before things heat up between them. Just as it looks like things will work out Willow gets a call from her former agent. Will she leave Mason again? Can she see that she has everything she needs in Caribou Creek?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I enjoyed the story so I gave it 4 stars.
HOWEVER....
Willow sucks as a heroine.
She's awful.
She left him at the alter with a note. Didn't talk to him. Didn't have a discussion about ways she could pursue her dream while still in a relationship with him. It could have been doable.
She's fired by her agent and her roommates in LA kicked her out. Doesn't that say something about what a wreck she is??
Later, she takes her sister's car without asking her and is then pissed off when her sister is mad about it.
She's annoyed that the town is still angry with her for the way she ran off on the hero.
The sex scenes were hot. Otherwise, I don't root for this couple at all He can do WAY better.

Kali Hart sure knows how to write short but spicy romances. This story will fan the sexy flames like nothing else you will read for a short story. The characters are at each other from the minute they are within coowee of each other. Mason and Willow were engaged to be married, but she leaves him at the altar for the bright lights of Hollywood. Now three years later Willow is back. Will they work things out or are they destined for heartache? You will just have to read this book to learn all the sexy details.

Willow left the small town in Alaska for the dream of being an actress. She hurt someone badly, she left Mason at the altar and did not have the decency to tell me, she left her sister to do that. A few years later, her grandmother has called her to come home, her acting career is a shambles, she is homeless and every thing she owns is in the suitcase. The topper to the day is Mason is the pilot on her flight.
Mason has not stopped loving Willow, he knew someday she would return and he would be waiting. It does not sound like she plans on staying. Can let her go again or will she stay?.

I loved Book 4 of Mountain Men of Caribou Creek and I cannot wait for more. This time we have former couple Willow and Mason. She wasn’t sure he would ever talk to her again after she left him at the alter. But three years later can they finally get their happy ending or will Willow leave Alaska for Hollywood again? A quick and easy read. I great storyline and lovable characters. Looking forward to a Willow’s sisters stories. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

Willow left Mason standing at the altar
Willow ran off to Hollywood to chase her dreams and broke Mason's heart. A family emergency brings Willow and her two sisters back to town. Pilot Mason sees Willow at the airport as she rushed back to Caribou Creek. Their chemistry is combustible and she eventually confesses that she was wrong to run. Mason makes a grand gesture to convince Willow to stay. It took three years but they finally get things right. I can't wait for the next story.

This is a sweet second chance at love for our Mason, and Willow. These two combust whenever they are together. It's a good feeling knowing that they finally have their hea, she realizing her mistakes and him for waiting for her even after what she did. I'd say it's a mission accomplished for Mason. He took a big risk and ended up with the woman he loves.
It's a nice read even though knowing their past history made me bleed a little. I loved the free epilogue.

Great read
I was excited for this book. Loved the earlier books in the series about the brothers. I really like all the characters in Caribou Creek. This book did not disappoint. So sexy and sweet and hopeful. I liked that there were some laugh out loud moments. The supporting characters in this series are the best. They make each book so well rounded. I cannot wait to read Aurora’s story. She was hilarious.

Book four in the series brings Willow and Mason's story. It's a second chance at romance when she returns after leaving him at the alter three years earlier. The author brings strong characters and weaves an entertaining romance. It's well written, moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

This had all makings of a great story but it just didn’t get there. Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes but I just didn’t connect with these characters. I had a hard time liking Mason and an even hard time liking Willow. The ending was the best part and I’m definitely curious about the sisters and their stories.

good story. jilted at the alter, Willow basically returns home with her teeth kicked in by the acting life in LA. Who picks her up to return to Caribo Creek ? non other than Mason her ex-fiancé. YEAh. Hmmm maybe a second change and make up steam with clear their head? good story line. Willow and her simpleness might cause a cliffhanger.

Wonderful second chance novella of coming home and starting over. Loved the characters and the sexy banter between Willow and Mason, these two are on fire for each other. Fantastic connection even though three years have passed, some things are just meant to be. Cute ending and looking forward to the other Gray sisters finding love.

Willow left her small hometown three years prior to be an actress in Hollywood. But she left her true love.. at the altar😳 Now she gets back home when her grandma calls. She meets her ex at the airport and the old memories and feelings are back. Mason always hoped she would come back and never stopped loving her. This was a sweet, steamy, fun to read, romantic, bittersweet and safe (they were each others one and only😍) with a beautiful HEA😍😍😍😍 Can't wait for the next story👍
