Oooh okay I see you Chloe and Clarissa

So this started pretty slow, but it got better as you went on! I really enjoyed this, the characters were interesting the plot was nice (especially towards the end) and I finally believed in the connection and relationships.

I did wonder at times if I was really reading about Aliens or the Mafia, because it just felt like normal people. I wasn’t necessarily transported to their world like I would normally with sci-fi novels. The Mafia aspect also felt diluted, which isn’t bad, but we didn’t see much of it at all until like 60 or 70% in.

I was kinda worried I wouldn’t believe in the relationships growing between the characters because the MMCs had this mind orgasm thing (that I wish were real) where they can get their partner off with their mind. So I was a bit disconnected when reading their steamy scenes, but after? When they were actually touching the FMC? 🔥🔥🔥 I feel like when the touching happened, that’s also when the diving into the personalities, the dialogue, the action really picked up. More details and description happened and I was fully invested.

The ending was 👌🏻 and now I’m craving more books by these authors.

Penn (h) is on a mission to rescue her best friend, Layla, who's been captured by Aelyd mafia. She makes contact with Corvus/Shayd (H) who agrees to help her if she kills Atlas (H), the head of the Ganivet family, so that Keon (H) can take his place as the new head. All three alien males want Penn, and she has to keep things in check if she's going to rescue her friend. Penn is a tough, skilled fighter who will do anything she has to fulfill her mission, and her desires. The three males are so different from one another, but so very engaging and sexy. Plenty of hot and steamy action throughout building towards a climactic end with bondage, edging, choking, degradation, voyeurism, breeding, multiple partners, electric sensations (by mental pathways), and more. Took a while to build the different relationships with each of the men, but HEA for all.

This one took me a little while to get into. I enjoyed the book, found the plot interesting and was invested in our main characters, but there were several spots that could have done with further proofreading and editing. I also wished that the worldbuilding and relationships between Penn and her men would have been a little more developed. It is a steamy read for sure, with a BDSM humiliation and degradation kink, but I prefer my romances with a bit more feeling.

Penn is one badass woman! Not only is she part of the World Intelligence Agency - a secret service organization intended for intelligence of alien lifeforms, but she’s also a part of the even more secretive First Wave. I adored her so much! She’s smart, resourceful, dangerous, confident and capable. Even more, she knows how to handle herself and is not afraid to speak her mind or stand up to some very menacing people. And when her best friend and colleague goes missing, I loved Penn’s determination to do anything in her power to find her, even taking up on an extremely dangerous mission in the heart of Aelydon and finds herself entangled with three alien crime lords.

Atlas, Keon and Corvus are three males you should not mess with. They are dangerous, lethal, vicious and so much more than meets the eye. Atlas is the untouchable leader of the Ganivet Family, a control freak and extremely suspicious of everyone. But he’s also charming, caring and sincere. Keon is a flirtatious bad boy, but behind his rockstar facade hides a very observant and cunning Aelyd. And Corvus might appear cold and unfaltering, but this sneaky spy keeps a deadly secret and has quite the dirty mouth. I loved those three so much! I loved how different they were and yet how well they fit together. Atlas, Keon and Corvus were absolutely irresistible and I couldn't get enough of them.

I loved everything that happened between Penn and the Aelyds. No one is who they claim they are. And everyone is playing a dangerous game. But, from the moment they met, their attraction was undeniable. Oh, talk about tension! Penn's determination to save her friend by any means necessary was limitless. But she definitely met her matches in the three powerful and dangerous males. And soon all four of them were entangled in a deadly web of secrets, trust, betrayals and passion. Moreover, the steamy moments Penn, Atlas, Corvus and Keon shared were hot AF! I absolutely loved the Aelyds’ kinky dominance and possessiveness and their insatiable desire to give Penn exactly what she needed. But will they last when everything comes to light?

In addition, the worldbuilding and the storyline were spectacular! I loved the Aelyds with their color-changing eyes and their telekinetic abilities. And I really enjoyed exploring their planet - Aelydon. Even more, all the power games, suspense and secrets kept me glued to the pages till the very end.

Overall, Veiled in Shadow is a spectacular and intense read. It’s filled with danger, action, twists, secrets, suspense, betrayals, blazing hot romance and magnificent characters.

I will admit that this fascinating Sci-Fi alien romance is definitely worth reading and I absolutely enjoyed reading it. I am not going to repeat the blurb as I think the author than adequately described it. I found that the storyline flowed quite smoothly throughout the plot & it has good world building with an abundance of details. The characters are well-developed complex individuals with strong-willed personalities and are quite unique in their approach to the some of the unusual situations they find themselves in. I especial liked how the characters continued to develop throughout the story-line to become well-adjusted individuals. There is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a human female (Penelope Lykaios aka Penn) on the hunt for her missing friend (Layla Dara), the three alien alpha males (a Ombra assassin, Corvus) & (the head of the Ganivet family, Atlas en’Ganivet) & (Atlas’s cousin & second-in-command, Keon en’Ganivet ) that become involved with her, drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, adventure, action, various kinds of alien mafia syndicates, secret organizations, strange abilities, devious intentions, trust issues, manipulations, deceit, betrayal, domination/submission, kinky scenes, complications, violence, conflict, compromises, steamy scenes & a satisfying conclusion.

Three Hot Aliens, What’s Not To Love?

Penn, an Earth operative and assassin, has traveled to Aelydon to marry the man she’s supposed to kill (mafia king Atlas) and to find her friend Layla. She meets Corvus, her contact, then Keon, the rockstar spymaster, and finally her future husband. This book starts off steamy with Penn’s initial encounter with Corvus, and the heat just cranks up from there. I loved the two sides of Penn - the kick butt operative and the “good girl”. This story was H-O-T hot, a glass of cool water and a fan were definitely required!

Good heavens, these two authors just sent me on a mind-blowing (IYKYK) adventure filled with betrayal, suspense, secrets, and steam!

Penn (Penelope) is a powerful, sassy, and sexually free spy/assassin who will use all of her assets to fulfill a mission for the First Wave (a group of all female spies/assassins). When she learns that her best friend, Layla, has gone missing, the only way she can find out more about her location is if she successfully completes a very risky mission.

She must kill Atlas en’Ganivet, the head of the House of Ganivet, a crime family.

There's just one catch: he won't allow anyone to get close to him, and it's been almost a decade since anyone touched him.

Atlas, Keon (Atlas' cousin, Rockstar, and second in command), and Corvus (assassin) are three interesting characters with unique abilities that will melt your Kindle (and maybe more, wink wink). It is incredible to see all of the deception and secrets unfold. I truly had no idea how the authors would pull off the HEA but OMG they did!

This is another original adventure from this writing duo, and I am totally here for it. I hope there are more books to come in this series because I would love to delve into this world again! This book gets recommendations from me and I will definitely keep reading!

This book was awesome I was captivated from the first page. The story was written well and the characters were unique Penn, Atlas, Keon, and Corvus. Penn has been chosen by the King to be his wife and breed. She works for the First Wave aswell as her best friend Layla, now her best friend has gone missing on her mission so Penn now wants to find her. When she got off the ship the person she had to meet was there, Penn has been given the job of getting close to the King so she can kill him when she gains his confidence, the King is heavily protected he has lots of guards around him, and he does not touch or be touched by anyone including his mother. Then something happened and now she cannot go through with it. King Atlas picked Penn for his wife so when he finally got to meet her he was happy the only problem was he wore an electric suite so they couldnottouch. Then you have Keon he is the King's right hand man then there is Corvus he has been assigned to Penn as her bodyguard, Keon and Corvus they also like Penn she is one that questions a lot and always smells like she is on heat constantly. Penn when she is in her room she didn't know she was putting on her own show, so the King made sure he feed Penn well and made her come every time. The King has had his life in threatened three times so he needed Penn to be honest with him and find out who is the one that hired her to kill him, then Penn agreed to tell him if he could find out where is her best friend was so she can go and rescue her. This was an absolutely hot and steamy read, a page turner and a must read book.

This alien mafia romance is one I know I’ll go back to again! We follow Penn as she travels to find her best friend who was taken. All she has to do is kill an alien mafia king and try not to fall in love. That’s hard to do when there are multiple aliens who want you and can smell how much you want them too. So it shouldn’t be that hard to kill him, except he won’t let anyone touch him and never takes off his force field.

Penn is smart, dangerous, and willing to do anything for her best friend who has gone missing after a mission. So she does the only thing she can to go to space, agree to be a bride for an alien. She must go undercover to kill him and only then can she save her friend. But when 3 hot aliens all become interested in her what else is she going to do to pass the time while she waits for her chance to kill the mafia king, especially when they all have special talents!

Atlas, Keon, and Corvus are not expecting to fall for Penn, but they all want her. Good thing they like to share. With each guy liking something different they each have something special for Penn.

Atlas who refuses to let anyone touch him is controlling but cares so much, how will he take it when he finds out Penn is here to kill him?

Keon is a rockstar and always gets what he wants, but he has secrets of his own and an interesting way of finding out information.

Corvus is here to watch over Penn and keep her safe, but what is his true motives when it comes to her?

This book was amazing and I can’t wait to read more! The story was great and the spice was perfect!.

This book had it all it had dominance, desire, betrayal, passion, secrets, lies, trust, confidence, smarts, resourcefulness, danger, mafia, attraction, hot and steamy and kinky scenes and love. Penn is a bad arse woman that can look after herself and hiding who she really is and she will use her brain and body to find out where her best friend who was taken by Aelyd mafia is and that’s what brings her to the three sexy and dangerous men first is Keon the deviant prince, next Atlas is the Garnivet crime boss and then there’s Corvus the deadly assassin and sneaky spy who are all alien crime lords looking for a mate and to breed with and they have all set there eyes on me and I’ll use this to my advantage and with there help I will find my best friend on Aelydon. But the burning hot chemistry between them all has them tearing up the sheets with there kinky dominance and insatiable desires but it’s a dangerous game they are all playing with secrets abilities and so much more lurking under the surface but when the heart gets involved it can only lead to trouble but can they survive and have a future together and save her friend in the end. Loved it.

Oh my goodness, this book blew my mind 🤯. I haven’t read many 👽 books and this book may have started me on this trope.

Penn is a sassy, fierce & powerful spy/un@liver, and use all of her abilities 😉 to complete a mission for first wave. Which is a group of all female spies & un@livers. Her bestie Layla unfortunately has gone mission, and she can only find the truth if she’s able to complete a risky mission.

my best spy narrator voice Her Mission? She must ☠️ Atlas en’Ganivet, who is the head of House of Ganivet, a crime family.
The problem, he hasn’t let anyone close enough to touch him in almost 10 years.

Atlas, Keon & Corvus are the MMCs and are extremely interesting 🧐, if you’re catching what I’m throwing down.

The story/plot is one I’ve never seen and I am here for it all. The secrets that are uncovered, you wouldn’t think that these characters would be able to get their HEA.

I am loving the world building and hope that these 2 authors write another book set here. Definitely give it a read, even if you’re new to the Alien trope.

OK, so this was pure smut and ridiculous smut at that. But it was also silly fun. You can't go in expecting to take it seriously. The idea that any of these characters are actually the dangerous professionals that the authors tell us they are is a joke. As someone smarter than me once said, fiction doesn't have to be realistic, but it does need to be believable (in the context of the plot). None of these characters are. Nor is the progression of the romantic element of the story believably paced. (Especially in the case of Corvus.) The BDSM aspect feels completely out of place. (Somehow, the aliens don't know what a boyfriend is, but know what a sub is.) And the plot is paper thin, though not porn with plot thin. Just accept all of that in advance.

Because outside of the above, there is some fun banter, sweet moments, sword crossing, and a strong platonic female friendship. The book is fun. Just don't think too deeply about any single part of it.

Oh my goodness yes! This was an extremely juicy piece of alien hunky fiction. Three men who are sexy in their own right forming a relationship with a very fun and spunky woman while she does her best to sort through right and wrong and tries to save her best friend? Heck yes! I really enjoyed this book. Granted, it was a bit more spice than plot in my opinion, which was just fun all the way around. I happen to like brooding aliens and the somewhat broken ones. I was not expecting to fall for the rockstar as gard as I did, but that happened too. I loved all three. Don't get me wrong, Corvus is incredibly condescending at times, but I think due to the nature of the characters, it's only fitting.

Overall, if you want a fun, spicy, and easy alien quasi-suspense read then this is for you!.

Oh yeah, you are in for a wide ride, for Penn (Penelope) wants to find and rescue her best friend (Layla), but she needs to do this one favour first (which involves taking out the King of the Aelyds). She arrives, and things start to get complicated, for she is finding herself attracted to three aliens, one of which is her target. Will she want to get out? Can she find her friend? Will they share? I loved this alien romance, it had plenty of drama, suspense, danger and steamy scenes. I am not sure I could chose a favourite, all the men Keon, Atlas and Corvus are all so tempting. I loved Penn, she was interesting, strong and sassy.

I enjoyed this book. This was a hot, steamy, sexy, action packed, RH, alien, mafia romance. Penn is out to save her friend who was on a mission and hasn't been heard from since. On her quest she is assigned to become an alien mafia King's wife and she has to assassinate him. Not only does she find herself attracted to her mark but also his second in command who is also a rockstar and her bodyguard who is also a double agent. There are some twist in this story as nothing is as it seems and slowly things are unveiled. Plus not only can these aliens satisfy you with their hot bods and packages, they also have the ability to satisfy without even touching you.

The world building was interesting and some of the characters and their histories were intriguing but the “sexy times” (in my opinion) interfered with the story in most cases, the exception being the ultimate scene with Atlas. I had hoped that the characters would show more unity but that unity came at the veyI had hoped that the characters would show more unity end of the story and so the relationships seemed unfinished.

An amazing story. This is an Alien reverse harem story following Penn and her three Alien mates Keon, Atlas and Corvus. Penn is an assassin from Earth and she is sent as Keons bride to try and kill him. But Keon does not let anyone get near him much less touch him. Atlas is Keons right hand man and he also looks after Keons safety. Corvus was the first point of contact between Penn and her mission. Loved reading their story. Thanx.

I enjoyed this book. I've only ever read one or two mafia romance before, but this was the first alien mafia romance I've ever seen and had to check it out! Great world building and wonderful characters. The story was suspenseful, mysterious, dangerous, and at times deliciously tense. I really loved the characters. The heroine was very strong and capable. The three alien males are very dangerous themselves; each one is very different from the others and I found them intriguing. The chemistry in this book was sizzling! A very enjoyable read! 5 stars.

This book was so hot. If you're against smut, don't read it but I highly recommend that you do!
Don't worry though, there was a great plot too. Alien mafia had me sold when I read the blurb and I loved how unique yet familiar it was.
I loved how sexually free Penn is, she's not ashamed and she even admits to how much she likes sex. Going to a world where a lot of the men are asexual was interesting, to see her deal with that.
The book was fast paced and I was engrossed in it from almost the start.

Five alarm hot!!

This was off the charts hot, like melt your kindle hot. Omg, I swear I thought I was going into very early menopause, because DANG, these authors are not messing around.

And you know what, there's a plot too. And pretty freaking good one at that. And don't even get me started on the characters. I'm swooning over all three metallic aliens and I'm here if they have any cousins that want to abduct me too. Just saying.

I strongly recommend you read this in privacy with lots of batteries. Have fun! I'm off to go stalk these authors for more hot aliens.

This is an exciting and intriguing story. Penn is an assassin from Earth and is sent out on a mission after her friend is abducted to be one of Keon’s brides. She plans on killing him but Atlas, his right hand man, doesn’t let anyone get close enough to him. Corvus is to watch over Penn and keep her safe. They all end up falling for one another. What will they all do when Penn’s motives come to light?

I have to say that this book caugth my attention from the beggining. Our Litlle alien Spy just got US were he wanted us. Fam that is a hot scene in the store Room. The rest of the book is just like that, always teasing and some Times we get some. All 3 aliens are great in their own special ways and we get something diferent from each One. I really enjoyed it and would love to read her friend, Layla's book.

This was a good story that sucks you into the storyline and you have to finish to find out what happened. Penn is sent on a mission to find her friend that's missing. She's undercover and Atlas, Keon, and Corvus are hot alpha males that are dangerous. Will she find her friend before something bad happens to her? Highly recommend.

loved it !!! love Penn and her men... Atlas, Keon and Corvus....this is their story... action packed... I like this book a lot. The build up of the romance and the world took it's time but it didn't feel too dragged out. And I liked that each relationship in the book felt unique and special. There was plenty happening outside the romances as well and I thought the set-up was interesting and well done.

This book was a total surprise & a wonderful one. It was amazing. First time reading these authors & most certainly will not be the last. Praying there’s more to come in this series. Totally digging this world of handsome alien hunks!! Beautiful HEA with all 3 of her males.
