A fun new series for younger readers.

It was the athletes carnival and Mabel, Eddie and Princeton entered it. They weren’t very good, but they believed in themselves and they won HEAPS of gelato.

I think a lot of my students (in Grades 3 and 4) could have written a story at least of the same standard, if not better.
It promotes rudeness and unkindness, and doesn't have much of a message at all. It's just poo, pus and fart jokes.
Unimpressed.
