Growing up in Castor's Corner was a bit tricky for a Castor. As mayor, I'm always working. On top of that, my two BFFs and I make up the town's witch trifecta.

It's our job to keep our supernatural town off the human radar and to keep outsiders out. You see, our town has a history of going to hell in a handbasket every time someone new moves in.

Like literally.

About a hundred years ago, the witches who lived here agreed to keep outsiders out forever. But when I'm accidentally late to our monthly gathering, I kinda left the barrier down.

Now we've got Ghosts, Ghouls, and smexy Shifters invading! The town kids are spooked by something in our cemetery and Mr. Hottie McFurry is giving me all sorts of naughty thoughts.

Castor's Corner was turning into one hot mess, and it was up to me to clean it up.

I just haven't figured out how yet.

Once again Gorri-sensei is working her magic with Hungry like her wolf. Jaxson and Evie are perfect together. This book has great work building, more so than usual. Normally Gorri’s books are really set up well, but I think she went that extra step because it’s set in a different world yet it’s blended with her world at the same time and I think that was done really well. Also I think this book Gorri really exercised her comedy chops. Her books are normally funny, but I found myself really laughing hard in this one. The story flowed really well, the characters seamlessly fit together and the plot was really good. In typical Gorri fashion she had that one character that drove me up the wall, I know she does this on purpose. The woman is a genius at making that one antagonist that’s not even the villain of the book. Their sole purpose is to drive the readers nerves to the breaking point 😂. I know others may feel differently but for me I’m a very confrontational person, so I’m normally reserved and chill unless disrespected and when someone is in my space it truly is no good for them. So this book had that ONE person 🤦🏽‍♂️😅. The heat and attraction between Jaxson and Evie was measured in scovilles it was so hot. I’m talkin’ carolina reaper mixed with ghost pepper hot. 🥵🫣. The side characters in Gorri fashion were amazing, but you know those side characters are the next main characters… Bella and Donny were funny… I’m not even going to get started on the 3 lil guys (no spoilers) 😝. With nonstop laughter, nonstop action and nonstop heated moments this book is definitely a winner! This grumpy bear 🐻 gave this book 5 witches 🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️ and 2 wolves 🐺🐺.. 😍😝. You should definitely scoop this book up!

Such an amazing story! The author has filled the pages with humorous one liners and steamy romance, making for a wonderful addition to the Magic and Mayhem Universe. I found myself snort laughing through most of the story, and I couldn’t wait to turn the page to see what happened next. The characters were fun and quirky with strong beliefs and personalities. I love how the friends stuck together the revelations when the bad guy gets defeated added excitement to the story. This book is perfect for the beach, the weekend, or anytime that you need a moment to laugh and enjoy life.

Evie, Bella and Donny form the trifecta of witches that protect Castor's corner. Every month they perform a ritual to strength the wards around the town to keep strangers out. Every time strangers come to town disasters happen. Evie is the mayor of the town who never chose to run. Legend requires a Castor to be the town leader or the town will fail. Evie isn't the best with people though but she does have a seer's gift. This month multiple problems are plaguing the town and she is late to the ritual. The three are interrupted by three shifters who make it through the wards. Evie is attracted to the leader Jaxson. She wants a hot one night stand with him and then have him leave town but inside she suspects that they are actually fated mates. How can she keep her mate and please the town at the same time?

I really enjoyed this book. I can't wait for Bella's and Donny's stories!.

Fun Magical Romp!

Evelyn Castor is the Mayor of Castor’s Corner, a town full of magical beings. She is part of the Trifecta of Witches that keep the spell active that prevents others from finding their town. Once a month she meets with her two best friends, Donatella and Maribella to strengthen the spell over the town. This week she is late and apparently she accidentally let something in! Three shifters show up in town where their truck broke down. She has to get rid of them fast so things will go back to normal. But it is already too late, for there is something haunting the cemetery and scaring children. When two children go missing Evelyn knows something is seriously wrong. Is she strong enough to fight the evil trying to take over the town? And can she really send her werewolf mate away?.

I absolutely loved Jaxson and Evelyn, story from the beginning. It was definitely a page turner and it left you looking for who in the story will have another story in this universe. CD Gorri once again did a wonderful job at taking us through this amazing tale in Castor's corner and allowing a strong heroine meet her Alpha mate. The Story of Evie as one of the trifecta was a great start and I cant wait to see the journey of her bestie's and her now boo Jaxson. The humor kept me laughing out loud and the pace of the story kept me engaged to not want to put it down. I finished it in a few hours of just laughing and following this tale. Welcome to Castor's Corner, a place you have to be enchanted to find and they are careful to NOT let you. But that one time . . . Get the Book!.

This was the first in the hungry fur series and was an absolutely hilarious story. Amazingly written and entertaining from beginning to end. It introduced us to some great characters and the town of Castor Corner. This story was about the Mayor, Evie who meets her mate in wolf shifter, Jaxson when 3 shifters arrived unexpectedly in town following an accidental break down of the magical wards. There was a lovely romance intertwined with a mystery to solve and a rescue to undertake. Fun, steamy with lots of laughs as well as amazing chemistry between Evie and Jaxson. 5 star must read!!.

It Doesn't Pay to Hurry, Apparently . . .

Castor's Corner seemed thoroughly chaotic with all of the things happening there that keeps the reader chuckling. The story line is an ever-moving mass of surprises that need to be dealt with and leaves the reader eager to see what is coming next for Evie, Mayor of the supernatural town, and her witch friends Donatella and Maribella who try to keep their town unnoticed by the humans while trying to keep all outsiders away... with varying degrees of success – especially when, in a careless moment, she accidentally let some shifters get in. You won’t want to miss this one!

Magic and Mayhem in One Amazing Read!

Oops! Evie was late for her monthly coven meeting and now she has a very sexy Wolf Shifter in town called Jaxson who’s ready to claim his mate. The chemistry is instant, the sizzle is amazing, the banter is fun, and the steam is so hot.

This is a fun, witty, laugh out loud, hot, entertaining series starter in Castor’s Corner. A small town were anything can happen, witches and supernatural’s exist with the odd ghost thrown in as chaos and a mystery that’s about to hit this unsuspecting town. You won’t want the fun of this storyline to end!

A quirky little town and even quirkier residents! Evie and gang protect the town but something is messing with their magic....crazy magic unleashed and weird stuff happening. 3 strange and surprise visitors and 3 new familiars all arrive at the same time... lots to deal with! Love, crazy magic, helpful ghosts, and a lot of crazy residents make for a fun story! Loooovvvved it!!!.

When the mayor of Castor's Corner, who happens to be one of the trifecta witches, is tasked with investigating complaints from children about the local paranormal cemetery. Evie and her two besties are caught doing their monthly witch rituals, naked, by three gorgeous and hot shifters. A whole lot of changes are about to happen in Castor Corner. I really love this book.

She is part of a Trifecta of protection witches and Mayor of the town. She is doing the protection ritual with her besties, in the nude, when 3 shifters come upon them. One of them takes a shine to her and is her fated mate, but there is a mystery to solve, evil in the town and a mate to claim..... All the while protecting the town with her besties and the hot shifters. A very good story and is a must read. I cannot wait to read her "Besties" stories also.

This is one of the most hilariously fun reads ever with so many laugh out loud moments. It is entertaining, has great characters and so well written. Evie may be the mayor of Castor’s Corner but she’s no push over especially when a shifter says she’s his mate. There’s problems galore in Castor’s Corner and an evil out there that will take all three witches Evie, Bella and Donny to handle. I loved this story.

What a great story. This book grabbed me from the start. It has all kinds of mischief and mayhem for Evie. She has a lot to deal with while a handsome wolf comes to town and wants to claim her as his fated mate. The dialogue is fantastic and kept me laughing at all the internal conversations as well as with her two friends. I can't wait to read about the next book. Ms Gorri's books do not disappoint. Loved it.

This is the first book in a series that was a hoot to read. Add in a locked town full of magic, some shifters that get in somehow, and a few other surprises and got a good story. Made me laugh as Evie's weekend goes off the rails and surprises after surprises are thrown her way. Plus a minor mystery or two too. Irreverent and crazy and full of fun characters set in a shared world.

It's a super sweetly fluffy almost shifter thingy book. Very light, not for me. Single pov. Each chapter refers to events we just read previously and since it's very small for a book, it isn't that we could ever forget. It's not as funny as other say. They are not quirky! That is all!
