James Hunt's passion for writing began at an early age. While his journal of yesteryear may never be the work of great fiction, he's been working hard every day since then to bring pages to life. James has well over a decade of writing under his belt, but his professional career in literature didn't take off until 2014.
James currently lives in Orlando, FL and when he's not pounding away at the keyboard you can find him at the theater or somewhere outside enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
There are three parts. Basically, an EMP, ended life as we knew it. All items, with computer chips and electrical items quit working. Only older vehicles, planes and radio equipment worked. People panicked, robbing, looting, killing. The ones that could escape, did. You really came to care about these brave survivors, and their journey.
Book 1 was very good and interesting but it was book 2 that got me. the Russell family were so in tune with each other. All of them had a great sense of humour. Wish more families were like that.
I did not expect to find three different stories in this set. Each as good as the last one. Engaging characters, plenty of action, and a welcome feeling of real humanity. Each tale is a stand alone but I wouldn't mind a sequel to the last one. I'd like to see Jacob come into his own. Only thing preventing five stars is the need for a professional editing job.
