Rewriting the rules could be the best—or worst—thing that ever happened to them…
Adler Haley writes great sex…just not under her name. And certainly not about her experiences—or lack thereof.
There’s no safer place to express herself than behind the obscurity of ghostwriting romance novels. By day, Adler’s perfectly content to blend in at her boring nine-to-five as an executive assistant.
At least until she meets Joel—her new boss who has her wondering if love at first sight is more than just fiction.
* * * * * *
Joel Lewis is convinced that relationships bring out the bad in people. And marriage? The worst. Ask his parents. His siblings. And his ex-girlfriend.
Needing a fresh start, Joel trades the Big Apple to take the helm at a struggling venture capitalist firm in Denver.
After meeting his new assistant, he has to work overtime to fight his feelings and adhere to the no-relationships policy he’s instated for his life.
Armed with The F-Buddy Rules for Survival, a clever set of guidelines designed to keep their friendship fun and fun only, Adler and Joel find themselves whisked into the most entertaining "situationship" of their lives.
But it’s not long before Adler discovers a major issue with the rules—they weren’t meant to protect her from falling in love.
They were only ever meant to keep Joel from finding out.

Author note: Rewrite the Rules is a steamy, boss/assistant, friends with benefits, first time romance. Full of sass, angst and pop culture references, this story is sure to make you laugh and cry while you root for a happily ever after. It is book two in the Real Life, Real Love but can be read as a standalone.
I did not like the characters at all. To start, Adler doesn’t understand the concept of consent at the beginning of this book. Her -boss- told her no several times when she expresses interest and then she kept making passes at him? Wildly inappropriate. On top of that, there’s a difference between inexperience and not communicating your needs—Adler’s a pushover who will do anything to keep Joel in her life, including entering a somewhat degrading situationship that she clearly doesn’t want.
And Joel… I’m not even convinced he deserves her. So many of the things he said were just so cold. Even if they’re not in a relationship, she’s still your friend..? And I really don’t think he did nearly enough groveling for the damage he did. I wished she’d have more of a backbone earlier on in the book. And I wish I didn’t have to wait until the epilogue to meet the version of Joel that wasn’t terrified of commitment.

This book was weird. It was funny and cute at first but Joel is trash. He didn't do anything nice for Adler but the sex stuff. Other than that, he treated her badly, dumped her twice, told her he could never loved her... and reminded her several times that they were just friends with benefits. End of. The book was about100 pages too long. I think we need more books where the heroine moves on and makes the man suffer for his stupid behavior. I wish Adler had moved on, written her book, become a successful writer, with a partner that loves her . The last chapter would have Joel begging her to go back with him with that damn ring, and she would be like "too late, buddy" epilogue is about Adler in a healthy loving relationship.

This is the second book in the Love, Me & the 303 series. (Can be read as stand alone but I opine that you should read Paint Me Perfect first.)
Adler is a 25 year old assistant & ghostwriter who is an absolute stranger to romance, love, & the opposite sex. She's probably the only virgin in Denver her age. When she meets Joel, her new boss she is instantly attracted to him and feels all the lustful feelings. Joel has just moved from New York to escape his ex and wants to steer clear of all relationships. They're attracted to one another but need to keep a clear line in their friendship-it won't go further than being friends. Addie and her friends write the rules for her to follow with Joel but rules were meant to be broken.
I absolutely loved this next installment in Kay Cove's series. The characters were well written and developed throughout the story. It had laugh out loud moments, heartbreak, and a little bit of spice. Highly recommend jumping on the Kay Cove train & binging both books!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ READ THIS SERIES it is SO GOOD!!! I started with book 2 (which is one of my all-time favourites), followed by book 3 and I’m halfway through book 1. And I am SO KEEN for book 4! The series follows the best group of girl besties and Kay’s writing is perfection ❤️❤️❤️❤️
4.5 stars! This book got me out of a slump- it was so engaging from chapter 1. I fell in love with the main characters and their dynamic & chemistry. One of my favorite ingredients of this book was the TOP TIER banter. I was seriously laughing a lot, and often. Very highly recommend!
✨"Addie, love is the most potent and powerful force on the planet. Channeling it gives the author the ability to change the world "✨
How do I start this review , when I'm still soo captivated by the heroine AKA , Baby Spice, Adler, Addie, A-Dizzle, Addie-Bear, Chatty Patty, A-D.... How do I give this book Justice when I'm still caught in a character's web, and I don't want a way out. 🙆🏽♀️🙆🏽♀️ She was soo well written, well articulated, well portrait..... *Sigh in embarrassment* 🙈🙈🙈. You get it.
This is a book about challenges. From both MMC and MFC, but in different ways. Joel was a goner for our girl right from the start, poor boy, in the end he stood no chance ( read it , you'll know what I'm talking about)
✨"Her perfume smells like sweet, innocent lust. A weird contradiction. Like heaven meets hell."✨ .
The girls gang btw( whose this whole series is about) ( Friendship goals 🤧🤧🤧) I loved How the girls come from different backgrounds and have different personalities. The way they click so perfectly. Yet have different journeys.
✨"Real life isn’t full of fantasy. I live my adventures through books, movies, and music. They provide a temporary escape from mundane monotony. And it’s fine. I’m fine."✨
When I tell you I'm wholly and completely invested in the rest of their stories, is an understatement
Can't wait to read book3 and see how the rest of the series is going to unfold, and to know it's coming in our way in no time is not helping my excitement ❤️ 🥰🤗
I gushed so much about book one in the Love, Me & the 303 series, and guess what?! I get to do it all again! I've now read Rewrite the Rules twice, and I loved it even more the second time around. How could one top Chase Ford? How? But the Joel that Adler brings out is just *chef's kiss*
What I loved: A new kind of FMC, Adler is amazing. You will love her. Sisterhood, these ladies are more than the positive vibes on social media girls, they are real life found family goals. I love them all. Hot work place romance, this one works in ways I've seen others fall short. It's like Kay Cove knows what tropes have done me wrong in the past and is on a mission to prove they can be amazing Spice Dialogue and real conversations, so well done Joel, you have to read to see Felices Cody/Adler friendship, it's beautiful Author support and the bookish vibe throughout Growth in characters
I have no complaints. And will be adding more information to my other platform reviews to go further in depth with my love for the ladies of the 303. Seriously, Denver, are you this awesome in real life?
Thank you Kay Cove for a copy of this arc for an honest review! And honestly i LOVED this romance.I devoured it, i easily finished this book in 1 whole day and I was constantly wanting more. Adler and Joel have one of the best relationships 🥹🥹 I also love the friendships the MC has and how connected everything is. Oh and can i say the female character is really relatable and entertaining! Which is a must for me i romances!!
Spoilers for tropes
Office love, Slow burn, friends with benefits, Male unresolved past, Funny banter all wrapped into the best kind of story!
This book follows Addie, a erotica ghost writer who happens to be a virgin.
Addie also works as an assistant, and one day she has a new boss, Joel.
Joel and Addie have immediate chemistry and the tension was amazing!
Tropes: ✨ Friends with benefits to lovers ✨ Office/Workplace Romance
I absolutely adored Addie! She was funny, humble, sweet, thoughtful, giving and quirky!
Joel was a complex character. He fought his feelings throughout the entire book. At times, he hurt Addie. Each time he did, I felt that hurt like Addie did. The pain was flying off the pages.
There’s something about the way that Kay writes that I get so invested in the world the creates. I always feel like I know her characters and they are my friends in real life. What I would give to have a friend group like the one she writes about 🤍.
4.5✨ I love Adler&Joel! I love how i can relate to Adler aaaaaa. i definitely love her ✨real✨ family its so fucking beautiful i cried. Quinn can u adopt me too? 😭
I really wasn’t expecting the story at all. I honestly thought this was going to be a typical workplace romance, but it was so much more than that! God. Joel and Adler, you have my heart.
Adler Haley (yes she has my name.. Haley’s rule the world 😉) is an assistant/receptionist at a big company in Denver 🗻 She was a ghostwriter for a very well known author of a book that was top tier in the romance world. But she refused to take credit for it and put the authors name in front of hers. She has always been comfortable being in the background and not the center of attention. That changed when her new boss comes into view.
Joel Lewis, mr hotshot from NYC come in as the new boss to take over the company that Alder works for. There is an instant attraction between the two of them. And neither of them can deny it. It’s a little rocky at first to admit the attraction (mainly on Joel’s side because you know.. men.. 🙄) that’s when they decide to become friends with benefits.
Because yes.., I’d like to admit that Joel is a commitment phobe (again… men.. 🙄.. but also has a past as to why.. I guess.. idk. ) but regardless. Things go great for awhile until neither of them (Adler first) can’t take it anymore and admits their feelings. So are Adler and Joel just friends or can they live up to being more??

Rating: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 4/5 🌶🌶🌶🌶 Series or stand alone: series (book 2) 📚 Adler and Joel 😍
I had no idea I needed this story so much - what a beautiful read!!
I was immediately sucked into this world, Kay has a beautifully descriptive writing style that really puts you into the shoes of each character - I felt what they felt and formed such a connection to their success both individually and together.
I absolutely loved the banter and humour in this one... there were so many amazing laugh-out-loud moments, and I adored the way these two were together. I felt the chemistry and growth between Joel and Adler was so natural and so well written, and the inclusion of such an amazing group of friends was the cherry on top, I absolutely can't wait to read more from all of them.
This was an amazing read that I didn't want to end! Filled with strong characters, hilarious banter, friendship, drama, and a whole lot of love, I would definitely recommend!
“But I can promise you, no matter what, I will choose you. I’ll choose us. Always.”
This book took an entirely different direction then what I was expecting but I loved every single minute of it. Instalove is my jam I don't care what anyone says, and while this story wasn't entirely instalove, it definitely had some instant attraction vibes to it even if the MCs didn't want to admit to that little info.
Adler was absolutely perfect. We don't see a lot of her in book 1, so I wasn't sure what kind of character she'd turn out to be but she was BETTER than I ever could've wished for. She was quirky, kind, patient and every thing I wished I could be if we're completely honest but outside of that her love for Joel was unmatched. She was the purest, sweetest soul and she deserved all the happiness in the world. Joel was incredible too and I loved him from the beginning. His warped view on love and marriage broke my heart because he was so in need of a fairytale ending and I truly wasn't sure if he was going to get it. But, gosh his feelings towards Adler were extraordinary. It was so obvious from the beginning that he loved that girl with his whole soul, he took the time to learn everything about her and if that doesn't scream love idk what does!!
I don't talk much about the friend group Adler has because I could talk for days, but these girls are the most incredible little found family and their love for one another is beautiful and strong. They are each so deserving of love and I can't wait to see the rest of this girl band fall in love. This book was just absolutely incredible from beginning to end I didn't want to put it down. I need more of the couples and this friend group!!
Book Review Rewrite The Rules Novel Written By Kay Cove Fiction - Romance 332 Pages Published 2022 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is Book 2 in the Love, Me & The 303 Series. The first book in the series is Paint Me Perfect. I read and reviewed that book a few months ago.
Rewrite The Rules has the same five female friends that were in Paint Me Perfect - Noa, Reese, Quinn, Mani, and Adler. This book focuses primarily on Adler, AKA Addie, and her new boss Joel Lewis. Addie is an executive assistant at a venture capitalist firm that is now headed by a new leader - Joel. Their attraction is immediate, but both are cautious. Addie is concerned about getting involved with her boss. Joel is on a dating hiatus after a recent breakup. Eventually, they agree to a friends with benefits arrangement.
I really liked both main characters. Addie is sweet, sassy, sincere, and sarcastic. She is a devoted friend and would be a fun coworker. Joel appeared to be a great person to work for.
The author had me laughing at Addie’s sarcasm and getting teary eyed as Addie and Joel’s relationship can not survive their friends with benefits plan.
Although the two books can be read alone, it’s best to read them in order because of a few spoilers in the second book. I am looking forward to reading the third book in this series which focuses on two other characters from Rewrite The Rules.
“He waited for my body. I’ll wait for his heart. We have ample time to figure things out.”
“I’m the real me with you.” “Good. I like the real you.”
I was a member of the author’s Street Team to read and review this book.
~ This is the second book in The Love Me, The 303; the first book is Paint Me Perfect. I didn't read Paint Me Perfect but it didn't ruin Rewrite the Rules as it can be read as a standalone.
~"Your heart knows the why. Rum in that direction." -Rumi I loved this quote that was in the beginning of the book.
This is the first Kay Cove book I've written and I was not disappointed. She's quite the talented author; I couldn't help but fall in love with her characters and the storyline. I truly enjoyed the characters backstories, it added so much to the book overall. I love how every detail was carefully thought out, none of the characters or the storyline seemed rush. I also really enjoyed the spice in this book, the scenes were definitely HOT!! 🥵🥵 I'm not usually big on a lot of slow burn romances because it sometimes seems to just drag on and on, but the author wrote it perfectly.
I really loved how this book touches on two people who think they don't want a relationship or they're truly content with their lives until the one person walks in and shakes it all up. The characters get to know one another and suddenly the lines you were determined not to cross begin to blur. This sweet, steamy romance tests these characters resolve to stay just friends, instead possible leaving the door open for more if only they're willing to meet each other halfway and give up the notion that love isn't what they want.
•10/10: highly recommend This may be the first book I've read by Kay Cove, but it's not my last!!
If you think I didn’t read this in one sitting, you would be absolutely wrong. Adler and Joel drew me in straight away and once I started, I couldn’t stop.
Joel is a bigwig at a young age, and it’s impressive. His past and how he hasn’t dealt with those feelings is his absolute downfall throughout this book. He’s hard and cold at times…but he’s also thoughtful and full of beautiful ideas. While he’s successful at running a company (all but taking it over entirely), he’s not so successful with understanding love, or the complexities that come with it. He doesn’t want marriage, kids, or to be the reason someone else is unhappy.
Adler is a sweet, adorable, and naive mid-twenties woman. She works as an executive assistant, but her biggest passion is writing. She tried the self-publishing route and failed, but it doesn’t mean the passion isn’t still there. When he new boss, Joel, walks in the door…inspiration isn’t lacking. Adler is fresh off ghost-writing for one of the most successful romance novels of the year, and the attractiveness of Joel doesn’t go unnoticed. She’s been looking for that love and romance…but can she possibly settle for just some time as “fun bunnies”?
There was so much connection between the two MC’s and I absolutely adored that! They both had their pitfalls, but learned so much about themselves and each other. The story was absolutely beautifully told, and I can’t wait to read more books by Kay Cove!
“ ‘Come on, Baby Spice. Let’s finish this damn thing together.’ “
Rewrite The Rules was even better than Paint Me Perfect. Kay Cove doesn’t miss.
Adler and Joel’s relationship from start to finish was perfect.
I loved Addie and can relate to her so much. Lover of Sex and The City, Friends, TBBT, Harry Potter, can quote TV shows at the drop of a hat. (The hiking, “athletic” side of her tho, not so much.)
Joel, too, I’m in love. And him guessing which Spice Girl everyone was, and guessing that Mani was Ginger Spice. Priceless.
To see him turn his beliefs around, to believing in love and himself, is so powerful.
And I still love all of the characters, especially Cody and Quinn. For him to really see her, for Addie to accept him and give him her number.
“And why do you know Hannah Montana well enough to casually reference that children’s show?”
“ ‘Why are you crying?’ I whisper against her ear. ‘Because these are all red.’ “
“I’ll admit I was a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to love… but he was worth the wait. He still is.”
Tropes // new adult, boss / assistant
Thank you to Kay Cove for an ARC!
*I’m on the street team so I received this ARC early*
Kay Cove... you are one of my favorite romance authors! It's official. I absolutely loved Paint Me Perfect, and this book was even better! Adler is such an incredible FMC - sassy, fun, sarcastic, loving. I could go on and on.
Rewrite the Rules is book 2 in the Love, Me & the 303 series, however can be read as a standalone. The story follows FMC Adler Haley who works as an executive assistant. When a new co-owner arrives, she finds herself attracted to the handsome newcomer. Joel has escaped from his past in NYC, and is looking for a fresh start - but not a relationship. The two of them have obvious chemistry though - and the steam is incredible.
One of the things I absolutely love about these books is the found family - the friendships between the main group of girls (including Adler and Noa from book 1). All of the characters are so well written and developed. The relationships grow so beautifully on the page. Kay is incredible at making you love her characters, even when you get frustrated with them!
I was emotionally invested in this book from page 1, and can't wait to read more in the series.
Thank you to the author and Katie & Brey PA for the ARC, all opinions are my own.
Kay Cove is doing a fabulous job with this series. I'm pretty hard to please, but this series has grabbed me from the get-go and I'm hitching the ride for as long as they let readers tag along.
Adler is an executive assistant by day and the secret author of super hot romance by night. Thing is, she has no real world experience in the super hot sexy times department.
But once her firm's owner brings in new partner, Joel ,to run things while he takes a leave, Addie starts wanting to practice what she's been imaging and writing about.
She may be inexperienced in certain areas, but she's all woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. She even composes a handy dandy list of fool proof tips to guide her. If only her pesky heart wouldn't nudge her toward more. . .
While Joel may go all in on long mountain hikes, he came west to get as far from a broken relationship as he could and has no desire to concentrate on anything but the job at hand.
He wouldn't pass up a "friends with benefits" arrangement, but making a commitment? Not happening.
The Love, Me & the 303 books are like having a feel good movie play out in your mind. With each page you turn (or swipe) they'll tug at your heart make you smile--often.
This book was an easy 5 star for me, I could not put it down! This is the second book in the “Love, Me, and the 303” series. They do not need to be read in order but there may be spoilers in this book if you read them out of order.

I fell in love with Adler right away, her quick-witted personality was so much fun to read. Her girlfriend group was top tier, I absolutely adored the support they all had for each other. Joel is book boyfriend material especially the way he was around Adler. He was sweet and thoughtful but also had that demanding presence that I want from a fictional MMC. I also want to mention my love for Cody, the ex-NFL player and Joel’s best friend/roommate. He is a ginormous teddy bear and his banter rivaled Adler’s. The next book in the series better be his story because I need more him in my life!
This is absolutely a book I will recommend to everyone, and I am picking up the first book in this series “Paint Me Perfect” ASAP!
A huge thank you to author Kay Cove for the #gifted ARC of this book. I am your newest fan and I can’t wait to follow all your future writings.
Adler is a personal assistant by day and a ghost writer in her free time. Joel Lewis is Adler's new boss.
😊What i liked -
✔ Rom-Com/Workplace Romance/Instant Attraction. ✔ Oh I am in love with Adler's character. She is funny, sarcastic, weird and shy. (in short she is me or i am her and yes i do feel i am funny and sarcastic) ✔ What an awesome girl tribe to have. Absolutely loved Quinn. Reese, Noa and Mani. ✔ I was melting over the awwwwieeee moments of Joel and Adler. It was so cute that he knew knew her. (he listened unlike many guys in the real world) ✔ It was a fun quirky body melting steamilicious read. (oh and this one has drama) ✔ I fell in love with Cody in this book. His easiness and quirkiness with Adler was so cute.( and hey no love triangle in this).
🤔What could have been better -
✔ Other than a slow start, this book was funtabulous.
This book was another home-run. I love Kay's writing style. It's so funny, and I can really relate to the sarcasm used throughout the book (it made me laugh out loud a bunch of times).
It starts with Adler, who ghostwrote a book for a famous writer, which becomes an instant bestseller. It's an erotic novel, which makes you think Adler is a very experienced woman. But she is still a virgin at 25, waiting for the guy that gives her all the feels. She meets said guy at her job, him being her new boss.
Joel came to Denver to take over a part of the business Adler works for. He basically fled Manhattan to get away from a relationship he didn't want to be in. He isn't interested in marriage and children, and when he and Adler find themselves amid flying sparks, he makes it perfectly clear they can't be more than friends.
But soon they can't ignore their chemistry, and make the decision to become friends with benefits. Little does Joel know that Adler hasn't got any experience in the bedroom.
Will it work out, or will they both get their hearts broken because of stubborn believes and a list of rules that can only be broken?
Another 5-star read! I can't wait for the next books!
I am liking this series from Kay Cove and love the story of Adler and Joel. Adler is a 25-year-old virgin who never felt a connection with anyone before. She appears to be sweet, innocent, and naïve at times, but appearances can be deceiving! She is a ghost writer at the moment but also works as an executive assistant for Joel who is new to the company. Joel is young, sexy, and very opposed to any type of relationship/commitment thanks to his past.
Joel and Adler have a connection, but one is afraid and the other know they want a relationship with the other. When the two decide to become “fun buddies”, will this be enough for them, or will this turn into something more? They have a banter between them, a great friendship going and seem to know more the other than they should. Will this relationship survive just being friends with benefits, or will this be the end before anything gets started? Love the characters, and I cannot wait to see what happens with Adler’s friends in the next book! I received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems ARC’s and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Billionaire meets boss/employee meets friends with benefits featuring a sarcastic and lovable female lead and a cinnamon roll male lead who should address his family trauma? It’s the perfect recipe!
Adler is probably my favorite female lead of the year. She’s spunky, she’s sarcastic, she’s a little insecure and battles that internal anxiety monster, and she rocks it. Between the connections with her gal pals and Joel- I’m convinced Adler is everyone’s best friend and I’m next in line. Kay Cove has created a delicious spicy read about none other than a spicy writer. It was bound to be a winner on that alone. The banter and aspirations of goals is easy and the romance natural. I’m not usually one who enjoys the first time/secret virgin trope and I am a little peeved at Adler for handling some things the way she did but the conflict made it interesting and was a leading point to some vulnerable moments. If you’re looking for some juicy spice with a plot and lovable characters, why haven’t you picked this up yet? Best part is while it can be read as a stand-alone, it is book 2 in the series and you bet your booty I am running to snag the first.
ugh this book was so good. i have absolutely fallen in love with every single one of kay cove’s characters. they are just so amazing. when i read paint me perfect, i knew i would love anything that kay writes and this book was no exception.
this book was funny, romantic, heartwarming and all the good things you love in a romance. Kay’s characters are complex, relatable and funny as hell. the dialogue is so real and never feels forced and don’t get me started on the banter.
i am in love with the love me and the 303 girls. romance aside, i can’t help but love the friendship in kay’s books. i love learning about the friends and their lives because it sets up the future books so perfectly. i am dying to read all of their stories and soak up being in this world that kay has created.
if you’re looking for a girl group to fall in love with and swoon worthy MMCs to fall even harder for, then kay’s books are perfect for you. kay’s books have easily become my go to recommendations and the books i immediately buy for friends when i see them on their wishlist.
BOOK: Rewrite The Rules (#2 book of Love, Me & the 303 series) AUTHOR: Kay Cove . RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 . WARNINGS: Sexual Content (Reader discretion is advised) . TROPES: Boss-Employee, Friends with Benefits . (ARC received in exchange of an honest review) . REVIEW: Let me start with the notion that I just loved this one. A sweet, heart touching and beautifully written love story, this one's gonna tug at your heartstrings. Joel and Adler's chemistry is so beautiful. I honestly enjoyed reading this book so much that I pulled an all nighter. A fresh breath of romance has been ushered in here. You never know when you start caring for someone so much that you suddenly can't imagine your life without them. Adler and Joel go down a beautiful journey of love. Especially, when Joel's ideologies about love are changed, it's a wonderful transformation. It's difficult to open your heart to someone completely, but when you do, it's the most beautiful thing! Because, in the end, love is always worth it. Also, Adler will always remain one of my favourite female characters. She's just love.
This is Book #2 in the Love, Me & the 303 series, but can be read as a standalone. Adler Hadley is an administrative assistant by day, ghostwriting romance author by night. Joel Lewis is a venture capitalist who comes to Adler's company to take over for the owner. He gives the company money as well as allowing the boss to leave. Joel only cares about business, he doesn't have room in his life for love. But when he meets and gets to know Adler, he thinks she might be different. They enter into a friends with benefits relationship, but soon it's so much more. But since they both agreed to the rules, what happens when they want to break them? What happens when they actually do fall in love?
The banter between the characters is so much fun. I love the banter between Joel and Adler, but also with her friends. And even though they don't want to admit it, the love between Joel and Adler is so pure and sweet, it's awesome. It's good they both have good friends in their lives to straighten them out because they were trying to be clueless!
I honestly enjoyed every second of this book. The opening scene had me a little skeptical but once I got past that it was smooth sailing.
The flirtatious sarcastic banter immediately had me loving the relationship between Adler and Joel.
There are so many things I loved about Adler. Her sarcasm of course but I also find her to be such a strong woman. I did feel like she always had to look outward to figure out how she feels which was a little off putting but I think that’s an area in which her character develops.
I appreciated the perspectives on love, sex, and relationships in this book. I didn’t ever feel like the author was trying to push a particular view or belief when it came to these subjects. Speaking of sex, there is some good spice in this book!
The ending was a bit much but not unlikable. Honestly, if the author wanted to write more of Joel and Adler, I would read it!
This book is cute, sexy and funny and I recommend it as a great read!
